Becky/Wordgirl invents a third persona for the purposes of clandestine spying on the villains via signing up to assist them with their schemes; she rapidly becomes the most beloved and appreciated minion in the whole Fair City villainous underbelly, and Charlie, Meatloaf, General Smoochington, and Leslie all try and make her go away.

- The villain's schemes and plans have been getting more and more difficult to outmach. Its actually becoming more of a challenge to beat them which is the last thing Wordgirl wants. So as she was venting this to Scoops and Violet, Scoops piped up and put in his few cents on the matter. "Why don't you go undercover to gather information? A lot of my favorite journalists did that too get info they otherwise couldn't get otherwise.". Which this imediatly sprang a lightbulb into Wordgirl's head.

- With some training from Scoops on what and what not to do as a villain and a information gathering spy, they eventually came up with Becky's new third identity. Melony the Minion. A young girl who's a fair city villains fan who wants nothing more then to be just like her favorite villains, in that she applies to as many villains as she can and then spreads her appointments throughout the week Including weekends (But also trying to stay away from villains who might know her as Becky, so she tries to keep her distance from Victoria, Tobey and Eileen.)

- She basically wears whatever the villain's want her to as uniforms, so with Twobrains she wears the standard uniform like Charlie and Meatloaf, with Butcher she wears a little butcher's uniform with a white apron and paper hat, with Chuck she doesn't wear a uniform and just wears whatever she wants (Which is usually just her standard clothes, but with a hoodie, fake glasses and her hair in a ponytail.), with Mr Big she wears a fancy suit, and with all the others she wears whatever she wants.

- Her job consists of carrying heavy objects, remind her bosses of important tasks, going on errands, helping out with chores in Chuck’s case, answering Ms Question’s questions, locking Dave out of the copy shop so he doesn’t mess with LRW’s copier (Sabotage their plans) etc. 

- Whammer tries too teach her how too wham, it goes as well as you expect.

- “Melony” had this spirit and can do attitude about her that just made her a pleasant presence to be around, always lit up a room over time.  She was a great conversationalist, always had a quip for everything, always had something to add to the conversation and it was like talking to an old friend.  

- Soon she became more then a minion in the villain’s and Becky’s pov.  Chuck would invite her to play videogames with him, Twobrains would invite her to watch TV dramas with him just like he would do with Meatloaf and Charlie (Though most of the time, they would just complain on all the inaccuracies in the show or movie), when Mr Big found out she had a passion for horse figurines he started buying some for her here and there.  Becky on the other hand is honestly having fun with all this, as long as she signs out when the project is nearly done, she can swoop in as Wordgirl and stop them.   It was like playing pretend for her then an undercover mission

- Becky has been noticing glares from Leslie lately, she kinda jocked it up too her worrying Melony taking her job away from her as Mr Big’s 2nd in command (which Becky has no intention on doing so since this mission is only temporary). But once they had a time alone together without Mr Big in the room, Leslie bellowed “So Wordgirl, how long do you plan too keep working in villainy”

- Becky forgot Leslie was the one with the only braincell in the show

“Whhhaaat? Pbtff I’m not Wordgirl, I mean why would Wordgirl work for a bunch of villains, doesn’t that kinda go against her whole thing. Didn’t think of you as a joker, Leslie.”

“That’s what’s i’v been asking, Wordgirl. You’re the number one most respected minion in the whole Fair City criminal underbelly. I mean there wasn’t one until you showed up but still. Surely you would have quit while you were ahead considering you’ve most likely memorized our patterns by now.”

“It started off that way… But I don’t know in all honesty. I guess even though this is like my third secret life so far, i feel more like myself then I am when i’m Wordgirl. For a criminal underbelly, everyone is pretty laid back and nice too each other in their own way. I don’t want too pursue villainy, don’t get me wrong! But this has been strangely therapeutic. I guess a downside is I have too fight myself not too correct mispronunciation or define words heh… Are you going too tell the others?”

“I appreciate the extra help, so i’m going too enjoy this while it lasts. Also i’v tried, no one listens to me because they like you too much. Actually all the minions and 2nd in commands in the city have tried getting rid of you.”

“Even Meatloaf and Charlie?!”

“Especially those two.”

“How did they know??”

“I told everyone because you have the same voice, same hair/eye color and same spunk. Also no child can lift a ten ton crate of machinery.”

“Remind me too never go near you when i’m in my other secret identity.”

- This was a sign Becky had too resign from being a minion, it was fun and educational but the fact all underlings have been trying too get rid of her was a sign that she should leave before things get ugly. She had too lie and say she was transferring to a different city. Some villain bosses just sadly asked too call them once in a while and too not be a stranger.

- Just so you know Bob protested this from the very beginning, I just didn’t know what too do with him

Maybe I should make more dialogue for this ask because cute villain and Wordgirl interactions are just immediate euphoria for me

sometimes i think about how LRW's civilian/work clothes are already CMYK. Cyan = Headband hairclip thing (is it one of those plastic hairclips from the early 2000s that didn't actually hold your hair bc you needed like 3 other ponytails to keep it in place, or is it like a plastic ring???) Magenta = Shirt, Yellow = Hair. She's a walking printer cartridge before she gets copiered. Also legit disappointed we never got a 'machinations' pun from her because... because machine....... (also ty for providing 10/10 wordgirl content, my hyperfixation is back with a vengeance and I appreciate your posts very much /gen)

I THINK the thing that Beatrice wears is a headband, but I have seen a lot of fanart where it’s one of those giant ponytail holder things, and I love to imagine that, if we take the show in the context of 2022 that Beatrice has worn the exact same outfit since like the 1990s or something and she refuses to change it. That seems in character.

The villain character designs are literally top tier in this show. They HAD to have done the CMYK thing on purpose, literally no way it was an accident, kudos to you for seeing that JKSDFDS like it’s a visual pun the writers of this show love that kind of silly stuff

Why couldn’t we have more machinery-based word lessons with the sheer amount of machine-based villains. Mr. Big, LRW, Twobrains, Granny May to an extent, and of course mf Robot Mccallister

LRW is iconic and out of all of the villains I remembered her design PERFECTLY years after I had first watched the show when I was actually the target demo. I love how she clearly gave up on brushing her hair all the way through years ago. I love how exhausted she constantly is. I love how she can switch from faux timidity to pure internal rage. I love how being a villain is her outlet for the stress of everyday life. She is just coasting along, respect.

This is not anything to do with your ask about LRW but i’m gonna talk about it anyways, I love all the character designs so so much. Chuck being a sandwich head is so random like how did they decide that. Did they give him the sandwich theme, the name, or the design first because NONE of those things seems like something someone would bring up at a pitch meeting casually

Mr. Big being a stereotypical business guy but with a robber’s mask as his symbol is so creative and slick I will never get over it, meanwhile Leslie looks like that stereotypical blonde assistant except she’s constantly monotone inside and out and is secretly wearing a karate uniform at all times

Twobrain s tumblr se xymann (no but serious this is another one with like how did they think of that concept. Did they start off making Steven as like the science character and then they fucked with it?? Or did they make the mouse thing and then do a tragic backstory?? I have so many questions)

Tobey looks like literally every British child you’ll ever see and the fact that he’s faking his accent makes that even funnier. Great punchline

The coach is a short king but he also needs to shave that mustache like come on dude you look like you’re banned from school grounds

Butcher is such a CLASSIC cartoon character idk how to explain it but like. He’s a meat butcher. He wears a butchers outfit covered in meat. His magic power is meat. He butchers words. Simple, I love it. Also he’s not stereotypically mean or brutish, he’s a sweet guy.

I Like how in the Best’s design their hair is shiny while most of the other characters don’t have any texture or detail in their hair. It’s a nice touch and great visual storytelling that this family is made of perfectionists and egotists

I like how the learnerer makes no sense and scares me a little! There is no explanation he just looks like that!

I like how with Seymour’s design his power is his teeth, and his design is literally BUILT from the ground up to highlight just how got dam white those teeth are

Oh they're all on friendly-enough terms. There are those she's closer with (Tobey, d2b, chuck, butcher, ect) but she does see all the villains as just her schoolmates who also sometimes make her life extremely difficult.

D2b crashes at her house sometimes because he needs some time in a house and she just, casually sneaks him a blanket or two. They're such reluctant siblings.

Also gives the best queer advice to all of them. Chuck, glen, lrw, all of them just come to her like 'ma'am I have gay feeling for my bestie' and Becky is like, I got you bro, villain date night on me ;). Becky/Wordgirl is that wingman and every villain knows it.

Random info about the Villains Association Pirate AU -Twobrains is the captain (obviously) -All the kids villains have been aged up into adults because children being pirates doesn't make sense -LRW is obsessed with the canons on the ship because they didn't have copy machines back then -Marleen is canonically dead at the start of the story. Trying to explain my in system family like

So these are our parents, Twobrains and LRW, and this is my other mother Heather whose a butch bunny chimera no she's not connected to the first two parents at all, Necro is my whateverthefuck qpr situationship thing, Silver is my sister though sometimes we're doubles, this is my son Cricket no his mother/my wife has not introjected unfortunately at least not yet, Invisi-Bill is my cousin, also this is Glitch, my... something, because she's a copy of me when I was younger so he is genetically related to me in a sense, a good chunk of the fictives are dating each other according to their canon source relationships and have their own family dynamics and if I got into THAT we'd be here for another three hours. Yall remember that WG Horror AU thing I came up with a while back but then forgot about? And how others have had similar ideas, but I made the original one?

So I wanna bring that back finally. I don't expect people to remember everything so here's a recap of everything I had written down and set in stone

Twobrains is basically a drug addict. Instead of just stealing cheese directly, he robs people for their cash and to find stuff of theirs to hock for more money to buy cheese. Sometimes, he just turns people into cheese outright and eats them. At least it's a very quick and painless death.

Chuck crushes people to death to make sandwiches out them, but is so delusional he doesn't realize it's people he's using. He just thinks he's making regular sandwiches.

The Butcher is also a cannibal but like. At least he's aware he's murdering, preparing, and cooking people. Least creative thing in the whole AU I know but don't judge me I'm trying

LRW's clones are all fully sentient beings, and she knows, but she doesn't care and treats them just the same. She don't give a fuck if the clone is begging for it's life to not be erased. She brought them into the world and she can take them out of it.

We tend to be very fluid when it comes to roles tbh. Like currently I'd say Fang is the caretaker today but sometimes Twobrains and LRW are the caretakers instead. Invisi-Bill is the protector 95% of the time but Necro can also do that. Necro can also be a reality checker occasionally or just in general be the one who gets me calmed down about life. Knife is the only one who isn't fluid, shx's the intrusive thoughts holder pretty much 24/7 and nothing else. And then most of us don't even really have roles, the vast majority of my system is just there. So we don't really have concrete roles, we just do whatever job the current situation needs us to do

There ain't no way Silver doesn't go around putting mistletoe absolutely everywhere. Not because she's trying to catch anyone under it herself, but because she wants to see how much chaos she can cause by making random people kiss. Yall I just looked it up- the full moon is literally the day after Christmas- yeah sorry Marleen-

I keep picturing Razzle Dazzle running around the villain meeting Christmas thing or whatever sticking bows on everyone's head. It's something I used to do when I was little that I feel like is perfectly in character for him

RD's just running around like "AND YOU GET A BOW, LESLIE! AND YOU GET A BOW, MS. QUESTION! AND YOU GET A BOW, TWOBRAINS! AND YOU GET A BOW, COACH!"

There ain't no way Cori didn't text the villain groupchat like "Hey can I bring my little brother to the holiday villain meeting? He won't exactly get much of a Christmas because of our home life otherwise and yall are super cool people too. I promise he will behave himself the whole time"

And FYI the probably did let her bring Kyle because as established, she probably has to drag him to villain events every now and then in the first place so they already vaguely know and are cool with him

Marleen is definitely REALLY good at opening presents because of her naturally sharp nails now that I think about it- tho tbh he's probably also down to rip the wrapper off with her teeth as well

And speaking of presents, I keep imagining Silver using her pyrokenesis to scorch the wrapper off its presents- she's actually very skilled at it and can do this without burning the gifts to ashes, tbh she probably uses it not as a practically thing but just as a party trick to freak people out

Alynxai probably has to clean the snow off her horns whenever she goes outside

"I don't get cold" -Razzle Dazzle, refusing to put on something other than his shorts and a crop top in the middle of the snow

Okay so I've had this thought in my head that since Silver has pyrokenesis, her skin, particularly hee hands, are just naturally warm 24/7. Not burn everything it touches hot, but noticeably warmer than an average person's skin. This means you can see all of Fair City flocking towards the Twobrains Child during winter to warm themselves up

During Crimestmas dinner, I imagine Marleen wolf instincts would kick in and she'd just start eating the turkey with her hands and start ripping it apart with his bare teeth like a bloodthirsty predator and be growling and making other wolf noises or whatever

Maybe one of the other villains or two starts staring before they remember Marleen... isn't exactly in control of this and they just let him be a wolf for a minute

Speaking of Crimestmas dinner, they dinner table itself is split down the middle. The adult section and the kids section. Twobrains and LRW always have to sit on the edge of the adult section because they're the only ones with children.

Animal au things because I couldn’t sleep last night and wanna just talk about it ahhhhhhh

-Claire is a elk, she’s not a fox because I want her to be a large animal in comparison to Tobey and I decided Tobey’s dad is a fox anyways. (I hqd her as a horse before but I want amazo guy to be a horse so switching that) Tobey hates that when he looks in the mirror he looks like his dad (who left) and tries to insist that he’s anything else that he can reasonably pass as as a fox. Sometimes it’s a cat so he can be more like wordgirl, sometimes he’ll say he’s a wolf to seem like a “cooler” larger predator.

-Victoria’s family is very against her being with anyone except another (male) lion. Hunter Throbheart is also a lion and her parents approve of their relationship. The Bests also tend to look down on any other types of cats, much to Becky’s annoyance. One time Victor called Johnson (cheetah) a “cheap spotty copy” of him, and Tj got really angry and stood up for Johnson

-If Tb gets turned back into Steven in this version he keeps the white coat and scruffy neck fur. His nose, ears, tail and other prominent mouse features get changed back though

-Villains that are naturally more pack/pride/herd-oriented like Twobrains and Victoria try to collaborate with others more then the more lone-type species. LRW is a zebra so she is naturally inclined to having a herd, but she’s also the most antisocial person ever so it cancels out

-Leslie regularly stands on Mr. Big’s head

-I regret not making any of the main villains a hyena. Like I want a hyena what was I THINKING. I could have made Rhyme and Reason a hyena and an African Wild dog, or maybe a Badger for Reason. They’re such big threats in the show I should have made them predators. I might change it.

-Twobrains refers to his henchmen, the villains association, and wordgirl as his pack, just because he still uses wolf talk even though he’s part mouse. She did not know that she was included in this until one day when he just casually said it in the middle of an evil monologue and started tearing up, making it awkward for everyone.

-The henchmen do bear things together

-Boxlietner definitely knew his lab assistant Squeaky was evil but never took it seriously

-Miss Power flies with her wings, not supernaturally like Becky does. She’s jealous of Becky’s ability and teases her for it, making Becky wish for the first time that she wasn’t a cat

-The kids all get picked up by their neck scruffs idc. Yes even violet (fawn)

-One of the side characters is an aardvark I’ll figure out who later

-Learnerer can just like float around. He’s not flying because he can’t go up or down. No one gets it

-Miss Question is the fastest flyer of the birds

-When Miss Power got defeated Granny May (with jetpack) said “Good riddance to that old jerk. I’m the one and only flying lizard around these parts.”

-Tiny big is a falcon

-If any of the large predator villains got in a fight and it turned physical the protocol is for the kids and smaller animals to be taken far back as possible. WG is ofc allowed to help in splitting them up (no one really “allows” her do anything to be fair) but usually it’s best to just let them figure things out with teeth and claws

-kinda wanna change Steven McClean to a wolf just to be a territorial rival to DTB. But also rams are fun

-Butcher is the scariest villain to a newcomer to the city even though he’s a huge softie

-Chuck and Brent are two seperate species of tortoise

-Hal is a raccoon

-Contraria is a land of boars and pigs mostly

-The warden is a goat

-Timmy tim bo is a sloth

-Beastars au plagues my mind, day and night
