theres somethin about those outdoors man. pyro is looking out the window for such a long time. ivory is constantly looking out windows. that shot reverse shot with the woods when shes shaking off the dust from her duster. the room where the piano is SUPPOSED to be is bathed in sunlight.

Hey there!! Absolutely love your art and characters 🫶!! Could we get some more on Luxe and the others?? Like what a day in the shelter looks like?

The day is probably more eventful for the workers there to be honest. For their little hybrid residents the only thing that truly gives rhythm to their days are meal time, outside time and the dreaded by some bath time, which does not happen as often as it should since as with all shelters this one is also understaffed for the amount of residents�� But hey they do get food three times a day and their spaces cleaned regularly so it's better than the streets for those who came from there (cue Luxe mourning the luxurious life he lost in the background)

Brownie goes outside to escape Luxe and Pup (Luxe prefers to stay indoor so Pup also sticks by his side instead of enjoying the outdoor with other hybrids) but he was not really socialized with other hybrids past his like, puppy years, so he's too anxious to approach or play with the others. Tbh he just prefers the company of humans but the workers are always too busy to give him much more than a pat in passing and visitors can only come see the hybrids at set times and behind the door (except for 1 to 1 visits with the hybrid of their choice), so he spends a lot of the time outside in front of the fence watching people come and go and wondering when his owner is going to come pick him back up from this weird place.

That's what his days look like until it's time to go back inside, where he'll just stay in his corner until food time except if Luxe decides that it's bonding time for him and Pup lol but the upside is that it means he'll get a good cleaning since that's Luxe very cat idea of how to get close. Like I touched on in this answer Luxe will also come sleep against him and Pup will join, either at night, during the evening or in the afternoon when it's rainy outside so there's no outside time, and Luxe sleeps A LOT so there's no shortage of opportunity to force group cuddles.

They eat inside their little room. Brownie learned very fast that Pup will growl at him if he even moves a iota after they have received their food, which Pup scarfs down very fast, but luckily for Brownie he will not try to get to his share too. Luxe is a picky eater that eats very little, so much so that he gets smaller, warmed up portions more often throughout the day, which is another thing that makes him hard to adopt (when he first arrived to the shelter he actually had to be tube fed because he refused to eat at all so it's a huge improvement that he eats at all).

Ofc sometimes Luxe and Pup are just busy together so that's another reason Brownie tends to go stretch his legs outside even if there are even more scawy unknown hybrids there.

Exile by Taylor Swift is such a Maiko-coded song. Like, it doesn't get more perfect. Literally every single line of that song fits with Maiko perfectly ugh!!!

The way I'm feeling right now has no solution, no relief. It's like how you want to crush cute things cause there really isn't any response that would deal with the stimulus called cuteness? I'm going crazy because I can't express how much I love this song and I love maiko and sometimes words aren't necessary. Sometimes it's just the vibes and exile is so maiko in vibes—I feel like I've understood a lot of things I feel like throwing up.

It's like Zuko and Aang looking at the dragon flames and understanding firebending. I listen to exile and it's just—maiko in my head...just pictures and vibes and feels. No words apart from the ones in the song and they fit, okay?
