I can’t believe I never noticed this parallel before!!
So Emma is obviously mirroring young Ms. Chatham here. They share the same power, and are thematic counterparts. However, she stops before running into her, whereas the past self goes straight through/into Louise. This is symbolic of how Cleo, Emma and Rikki’s story is different from the og trio. This episode is the exact point where their stories diverge from eachother. The fight Louise, Gracie & Julia have is exactly the same as the modern trio, their words echo each other; “you’re underestimating him, the obnoxious stuff is an act most of the time” “friends don’t give each other ultimatums”. In the end, Karl betrays Julia, and the three end up drifting apart. Zane is clearly given the perfect opportunity to betray Rikki. He could prove to everyone he’s not crazy, earn his fathers approval/respect, become famous etc. yet he chooses not to.
Young Ms. Chatham walking into her current self is symbolic of the weight she still carries from that day. She will never get closure from her friends who have now passed, or from knowing why they were chosen to become mermaids. It’s an open wound with an ache she has made peace with over time. Emma will never have to experience that. In this scene, Ms. Chatham may be a metaphor for the older version of Emma. Since Emma stops short, it’s a visual representation of the differences between their stories, and the path Emma will not take.
Another small but notable difference- young Louise is walking away from her friends. Emma is walking with them. She even looks back towards them for support after Ms. Chatham asks about the locket. This contrast speaks volumes on their relationships.
Additionally, this is why I know the girls would not have split up, as m*ko m*rmaids attempts to make canon. But according to the ORIGINAL h2o lore, they would stay friends.
#this is the post i was cooking up#i LOVE season 1#there’s so many intricate details that come together so satisfyingly#and i could dig into tiny details and get a full analysis#anyways pls feel free to share anymore thoughts on this topic!!#and i had to include the mako slander lol. but this is my thought process and a reason why that canon they tried to introduce is Not Real#h2o just add water#Louise chatham#ms. chatham#emma gilbert#rikki chadwick#cleo sertori

Invisible String
Although Spencer Reid and the Reader don’t find themselves in a romance with each other until well into their adulthood, their relationship has been decades in the making. Almost as if something as been pulling them together all these years.
A/N: sorry for such a long wait but i’ve been struggling a lot mentally as of late. i hope you guys enjoy this one shot!! As always requests are open and heavily encouraged!! And of course this is inspired by the taylor swift song of the same name :)) Also keep in mind although the following scenes are heavily inspired by some scenes in Criminal Minds, elements of them have been slightly altered to fit in Y/N as a character.
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Type: a cute strangers to lovers fluff fic!
Word Count: 3.9K
Content Warnings: typical criminal minds case discussion, mentions of child trafficking when discussing this case, but no real detail. slight spoilers for season eight (beginning maeve stuff) and tiny spoilers for season fifteen (briefly mentions max but nothing really important to the plot at all)
“Time, curious time Gave me no compasses, gave me no signs Were there clues I didn't see?”
You had met Spencer Reid 3 times before you had really met him.
It was almost silly to think about it now. Now that you and Spencer have been dating for 3 years, it was strange to believe there were so many chances for you two to meet years earlier.
When you were sixteen years old, you got your first part time job. You worked at a self-serve frozen yogurt shop called Iced Dreams. You hated it so much. Your manager was a total creep, your older coworkers were rude and condescending to you, since you were one of the youngest people working there, but most of all you hated the uniforms.
Consisting of a very stupid looking hat, bright pink with randomly embrodiered teal patterns, an outdated bright teal shirt, it had been given to you from a dirty bin in the back, and judging by the sewn in shoulder pads, it had to be at least a couple decades old.
So one day, you didn’t wear the hat.
It wasn’t entirely purposeful. You couldn’t find it, you searched your room, you searched your car, so eventually you had to leave without it to prevent being late. Still, as you clocked it and passed the box of extras in the office something made you decide to leave it alone.
You were about 8 minutes into your shift when your manager approached you. “Y/N? Where’s your hat sweetheart?” You hated this man so much. You had gone to your parents time and time again, recounting his creepy behavior towards you and the other teenage girls who you worked with, but they refused to let you quit.
When you had started working there, he used to enforce this ridiculous rule that all the female workers had to wear skirts as part of their uniform, but you had gathered all the sixteen and seventeen year olds who worked there and all threatened to quit if he didn’t change the policy. So you were no stranger to breaking and defying the rules.
“Yeah I couldn’t find it, sorry.” you shrugged.
He chuckled and reached his hat out to touch your face. You jerked back, you almost wanted to refuse to wear one of the stupid extra hats just so that you could get fired.
“Well, Y/N its policy sweetie. No matter how special you are to me you still need to wear the hat. There’s extras in the office.”
“No way I’m wearing one of those. I bet they have like lice or something.”
He pursed his lips and sighed “Well I suppose that beautiful hair is just too pretty to wear a used hat huh. . . What do you suggest? If you’re working you have to wear it.”
You laughed, “Well you could let me go home.”
He paused, “Why don’t you go sit in the office, I’ll come talk to you in a minute.”
So you did, for about 10 minutes you sat in the office, surrounded by frozen yogurt flavor marking posters and boxes of old uniforms, and each passing minute you feared for the worst. Maybe you were actually getting fired? You really didn’t want to go that far, because, as much as you hated it, you really needed this job.
When your manager finally came to talk to you he held a small salted caramel frozen yogurt, your personal favorite flavor, and a twenty dollar bill. He handed them both to you.
“You seem so stressed Y/N, why don’t you take the day and go get lunch. My treat,” he said, smiling that weird twisted smile that always made your full body shiver.
However you were broke as hell, and no teenager in their right mind would ever pass up free food, so you took it, grabbed your keys and started to leave
Yet as soon as you walked out the back door you dropped your frozen yogurt, cup fully upside down, onto the pavement. You cursed, you hadn’t even taken a bite of it yet, and it looked like he had put coconut flakes on it, and you loved coconut. Still, you had your twenty bucks, and that was a pretty sweet pay out considering you were only clocked in for about 20 minutes.
So you got Chinese food, and spent what was supposed to be your shift in the shopping mall across town, completely and blissfully unaware of the fact the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI was dragging your manager away in handcuffs.
➽───────────────❥
Young Spencer Reid had only joined the FBI about a month ago. Despite being a genius, and providing crucial information to the solving of cases, he was aware of the most obvious. He was only twenty two years old, and he was scrawny as hell.
He felt this intense need to prove himself, especially to make Gideon proud.
So when they got a case about a the kidnapping and sex trafficking of teenage girls, he saw it as something he could really involve himself in. Based on the profile, it wasn’t going to be a large, strong, confident unsub who Morgan needed to tackle. This man would be ugly sure, but he would be a manipulative mastermind. Reid could work with that, he could prove himself.
He surprised everyone with his sheer work ethic and determination to find this man, and through consistently revising and delivering the profile soon enough they got a hit. A young woman in her early twenties called the tipline and reported her own manager. Insisting he fit the profile perfectly, and described how strangely he treated the minors who worked there, and how he almost exclusively hired young girls, treated them great and then switched as soon as they became legal.
So Garcia did her magically digging, and soon enough the FBI was tearing up a frozen yogurt shop, looking for any evidence of pedophilia. Garcia was even brought along, as she was pivotal to discovering any secret files in his computer.
At first, all they could find were strange compilation videos and under employees skirts. Spencer, and the rest of the team, were struggling to connect how he could get so many videos from an angle like this without anyone noticing or reporting him, until Gideon uncovered an old dusty pair of shoes, in which the right one held a small camera at the toe.
Although this was absolutely disgusting, it wasn’t enough to prove he was running the ring or kidnapping the girls, so Garcia kept digging. Meanwhile, Spencer tried to make himself useful by checking out the back of the store.
That’s where he found your clock-out receipt.
“Hey guys, we might want to take a look at this,” he shouted out.
Morgan grabbed the paper from his hand, “Ok, I don’t get it kid, it’s trash.”
Spencer pointed to the details on the slip, “Yeah but it says here she clocked out 18 minutes ago after only working for 23 minutes and 46 seconds. If this guy is our unsub, this girl could be in a lot of trouble.”
“Maybe she’s still here, has anyone checked out the parking lot yet?”
Spencer shook his head, and followed Morgan out the back door. There they discovered some almost completely melted salted caramel frozen yogurt.
Morgan bent down to investigate, “Yeah, we gotta get this to the lab, but I can tell you right now that there’s clearly more than just coconut topping this yogurt. It also means we have another victim.”
Spencer crouched down as well, “Not necessarily.”
“What do you mean kid? We’re missing a teenage girl and we’ve already found illegal evidence on this guy's computer. She’s in trouble.”
“Well judging the shape and inscription of these pills it appears to be some pretty strong rohypnol, almost certainly prescription grade. And ingesting it like this means she probably would have begun to feel its effects fairly early, I would predict 15 minutes. She clocked out 18 minutes ago, so even if she left exactly at that time she would have certainly crashed her car on the way home. The nearest residence is 8 minutes away from here, we’re in a complete shopping district. There’s only two cars out here and neither have a passed out driver, so I would bet she didn’t eat any of it. Also, the only spoon out here is still wrapped in plastic, “ Spencer analyzed.
Morgan sighed, “Well what do we even do then?”
Before Spencer could answer Hotch opened the back door. “We got him.”
Spencer turned to Morgan, “I’m sure her phone number is somewhere inside, I say we call her and make sure she’s ok. She probably doesn’t even know this is happening right now.”
So he did find your phone number, and although he initially pushed the phone to Morgan, he just chuckled and pushed it back.
“No way pretty boy. You’re the know-it-all with all that profiling out there, you can call her,” and before he could protest Morgan left, so Spencer was left to call you.
And strangely, for it being the first time he would ever interact with the love of his life, he thought nothing of it.
And that was the first time you had met Spencer Reid.
➽───────────────❥
The second time was years and years later, when you were waitressing night shifts to make extra money. You had never forgotten meeting Spencer Reid the first time, but this was the first time you would ever see his face.
You were slightly concerned when you got a call from a man, whose name you had now long forgotten, claiming he worked for the FBI. Although you weren’t incredibly surprised to hear your manager committed such heinous crimes against children, you were taken aback by how close you had come to becoming one of his victims.
But that was 9 years ago. In your college days it became a fun story you told at frat parties, but you were 25 now. Sometimes you would think about the incident when you couldn’t sleep, and if you were feeling feisty you would use it as an icebreaker or a “two truths, one lie” statement, but otherwise you didn’t really think about it.
You had plenty of other things to worry about, in fact, that’s exactly why you worked so much. It was so much easier to forget when you were constantly preoccupied with complaining customers and terribly awkward blind dates.
You had just sat this man, incredibly handsome, however it was clear he was on some kind of date. His reservation was for two, and he spent way too much time adjusting his clothes and table setting for him to not be trying to impress someone special. He also brought a gift, which judging by the packaging and shape, seemed to be some kind of wrapped book.
Even though he was 15 minutes early for his own reservation, he still looked really nervous, almost like he already believed she might not show up. You couldn’t help yourself, you had to go talk to him.
“Anyone ever tell you you should model?” you started with.
He looked up “Excuse me?”
“Sorry for being so bold, you just look so familiar,” he weirdly sounded very familiar as well, but you didn’t tell him that. “Are you sure you haven’t modeled? You have excellent bone structure. I bet you could.”
He laughed to himself, “yeah I’m sure.”
“Well your date is very lucky either way. I wish I had a boyfriend as handsome as you. Actually I wish I had a boyfriend period, but that’s a whole other story.”
He chuckled, and although you knew in your heart that you shouldn’t be flirting with him considering he was 15 minutes away from being actively on a date talking to him made you feel something you hadn’t felt in a long time. “What happened with your boyfriend? Do I even dare ask?”
“Well I kind of always knew he wasn’t super interested in me, but I really liked him, so I did my best to ignore his wandering eyes,” you sighed. “That didn’t stop him from leaving me for his coworker though.”
“That’s terrible.”
You smirked, “That’s not even the worst part, he broke up with me over a 27 second phone call. He didn’t even let me respond, he just kind of hung up.”
“I’m sorry, no one deserves that. Especially not you. I’ve only been talking to you for a couple minutes and I can tell that.”
“Oh really? What makes you so sure?”
“I’m pretty good at reading people.”
You smiled, “Well I should probably stop flirting with you now, considering your date hasn’t even started yet. And don’t worry, she’ll show, you’re so handsome she’d be stupid not to.”
He looked confused. “You were flirting with me?”
You laughed, “I thought you were good at reading people?”
He smiled back at you, and it made your heart soar, this silly, pure goofy smile that made you want to replace his date and have dinner with him right then and there.
You walked back to your hostess stand. A couple minutes later you noticed the handsome stranger on the phone. You thought nothing of it until later when a woman came in, clearly nervous, holding a gift bag.
“Can you give this to Spencer Reid for me please?” You recognized the name, the man you were just speaking with had filed his reservation under it.
“Um, yeah sure, aren’t you going to go in? He’s at that table over the-” but before you could finish your sentence the woman was gone. Your heart sank, poor Spencer, how could someone drop their date off a gift but stand them up anyway? That’s just cold.
When you get up to bring the gift to him, he’s already heading out of the restaurant himself.
“Sir? Spencer? Dr. Reid?” he turned his head. “A lady came in and dropped this off for you.”
His face dropped, it almost looked like he was about to cry. “Thank you,” he said as he looked up at you before leaving.
He ran out the door, both gifts in hand and whipped his head around a few times before sighing and speeding off in one direction. Even before you learned what happened after that and leading up to it, you felt terrible for the handsome stranger.
How could you not for someone so clearly distressed? Someone so clearly in love?
➽───────────────❥
7 years and a divorce later you were spending your Saturday in a park, strangely contemplating love itself. Although you barely remember that night all those years ago when you spoke to Spencer, he did. Vividly. In fact, on this Saturday you both were in a public park, contemplating your many failed attempts at true love.
It was your first wedding anniversary without your husband. Although you had only been married for two years, you still were having a hard time navigating life without him.
You started to wonder if you would ever find the true love you had been wishing for since your youth. Was 32 too late? Had you lived out all of your opportunities?
When you were little your mother had told you that all soulmates were attached at the left ring fingers, by small, incredibly thin strands of gold string, invisible to the naked eye. She insisted that these strings were constantly trying to pull you and your soulmate together, and that when life was ready for you two to meet, you would.
Until then, you would have small, mindless interactions. Things you wouldn’t think about, maybe even things that weren’t interactions at all. You would get the same commercial jingle stuck in your head. You would both get an intense craving for the same food. You’d have the same dream.
As a kid you were obsessed with this idea, you thought it was so romantic, and you fully believed everything your mom told you about it. You always asked her for more stories, and at bedtime you refused to sleep unless she would tell you more.
But now you were sure soulmates, true love even, didn’t exist. The invisible pretty gold strings your mother weaved fantastic stories with were completely fabricated. If they weren’t, you would have seen the clues by now.
Right?
➽───────────────❥
Spencer Reid was given an assignment from his therapist. He had to spend his Saturday off trying to interact with a stranger. Making friends with someone other than his colleagues may seem like a simple task for some, but it was something the young genius had almost no experience with.
He understood that it was probably for the best. He wasn’t exactly great with relationships of any kind, but especially not romantic ones. It didn’t take a genius to know that a couple of flirtations, a dead girlfriend he had only seen once, and a long time unrequited (or at least he thought unrequited) infatuation with his best friend and godsons’ mother was not a very great track record.
He, just like you, was also beginning to believe that he was hopeless when it came to love. That 38 was too old, that his time to meet someone and have the children he dreamed of had long passed.
But right as he was about to call JJ, to see if she would invite him in on the case Garcia had started to work on, he saw you.
Unlike you, he remembered your face and your interaction vividly. That almost date with Maeve was one of the biggest defining moments of his life, and what are the chances that the waitress from that very night was now less than 30 feet away from him, reading under the green leaves of a tree.
He wasn’t going to say anything, until he saw the book you were reading.
The Narrative of John Smith.
It must have been a sign, for what he wasn’t exactly sure yet, but it just had to mean something. The universe had to be reaching out to him, he had experienced crazier things.
And just as he was about to walk over to you, to close the gap between the gold strings tied around your ring fingers, a child interrupted his train of thought.
“That’s a strange haircut.”
➽───────────────❥
Derek Morgan and Spencer Reid were finally reuniting after many years. They barely got to see each other these days, but even though he was teaching and working at the BAU, Spencer still was willing to clear his schedule to second Derek suggested they meet up.
Morgan was excited as well, both to see his friend and to hopefully help him get a date. Sure, he had liked what he had heard about Max, but he wasn’t exactly surprised it had only lasted a couple months between her and Spencer. They just seemed too different.
Plus, now he got the chance to play wingman again, and he was ecstatic about that. Spencer not so much.
“I don’t know Morgan, it’s only been a couple months since we broke up. Wouldn’t it be too early to start talking to other people?”
“Pretty boy, you and I both know that the rate in which you’ve had relationships is not even close to the average. You need to balance that out somehow.”
Spencer sighed, he knew Derek was right, but he still felt strange.
“Morgan, have you ever heard of the red string of fate?”
“No, but I’m sure I’m about to hear all about it.”
“It’s an East Asian philosophy, based on the discovery that the ulnar artery connects the heart with the pinky finger, actually that’s where the belief in pinky promises come from. The reason it’s integrated in so many different cultures is that-”
“Kid, you’re losing me here,” Morgan interrupted. “Finish your thing about the string.”
“Oh yeah, sorry. It’s the idea that human relations are predestined by a red string that the gods tie to the pinky fingers of those who find each other in life. Legend has it that the two people connected by this thread will have an important story, regardless of the time, place or circumstances. The red string might get tangled, contracted or stretched, as surely often happens, but it can never break. Essentially, the idea is that although we might not realize it, our lives move in a pre-ordained direction, guided by invisible strings that are woven into the fabric of the Universe itself. And all the while, the red thread connecting us to our distant soulmates is getting shorter.”
“Well it’s an interesting theory kid, but it’s a lot to think about. I mean, we’re in a bar, let loose a little bit. Not every interaction has to be about getting closer to your soulmate. And sure, maybe you’ll meet them one day, maybe even soon. But you’re here now, and just because your one true love may not be, doesn’t mean it’s not worth it to be here.”
Spencer sighed, “You’re right. I don’t even know if I believe in that anyway, maybe I’m just looking for something to explain this all.
Derek patted his friend on the shoulder, “okay pretty ricky, this is how it’s about to go down. I’m going to buy you two drinks. You’re going to take both of them, and go find someone, anyone here to go talk to.”
“Ok, I think I can do that. Who?”
Derek looked around, trying to find who he believed would be the best match for his friend. “How about her?” he asked, pointing at you.
Spencer couldn’t believe it when he looked. There you were, the girl, the one he had met three times before, even if he could only remember two. The woman he knew was some sort of universe sent sign that Saturday he saw you underneath the greenery. The girl he was so close to talking to before he was interrupted by Max’s nephew. The woman who (and he obviously did not know this at the time) he would marry 3 years later. The one who would carefully knit the baby blankets for all of their friends and exes. The one who he would adopt 3 children with. The woman who, he was now sure, was at the other end of his invisible string. The girl he needed to talk to right now.
“Is it just me,” Morgan said, “Or does she look kind of familiar?”
“Yes,” Spencer responded, “yes she does.” He got up quickly and started making strides towards you.
“Wait!” Morgan called, “You forgot your drinks!”
“I don’t need them!” he shouted back. When he sat down next to you, you smiled. It made his heart soar, you had this silly, pure goofy smile that made him want to ask you out right then and there.
Instead he settled on the only conversation starter he could think of.
“Have you ever heard of the invisible string story?”
And you couldn’t help but laugh.
“A string that pulled me Out of all the wrong arms right into that dive bar Something wrapped all of my past mistakes in barbed wire Chains around my demons, wool to brave the seasons One single thread of gold tied me to you”
- Thank you for reading! Please reblog and let me know what you think :))

Tiratola, the Long-Tailed Terror!
Aliases: the Dragon of Etna, the Serpentine Savior, Our Lady of Flame
Date Discovered: May 20th, 1954
Place of Origin: Mt. Etna
Notable Stomping Grounds: Mt. Etna, Messina, Pisa, Stromboli Kaiju Reserve
Height: Generally holds head around 15 meters above the ground, but can rear up to tower at around 34 meters at her tallest.
Length: 115 meters
Biology:
A prehistoric varanid of enormous size from the same lineage that produced Kraydi, Tiratola brings to mind the dragons of yore, slinking and serpentine and adorned with a crown of fearsome crests and horns. Indeed, her Mediterranean location closely matches with depictions of dragons from the ancient Greeks and Romans, although her demeanor is hardly that of a rapacious devourer of maidens and hoarder of gold.
Rather than her jaws, Tiratola’s primary weapon of choice is her tail - even for a reptile, hers is incredibly long and dexterous, making up more than half of her total body length and as flexible and powerful as the body of any snake. With it, she can lash at targets several hundred feet away, coil and constrict her opponents, and even pick up and hurl objects as big as buildings or handle very small objects with the very tip of the tail like an elephant’s trunk. Indeed, her style of combat is very similar to that of the American kaiju Gorgolisk, preferring to coil and constrict her opponents with her powerful body.
As a kaiju, Tiratola also sports a fairly standard powerset:
Super strength
An enhanced healing factor
Immunity to radiation
She also has one more trick up her sleeve - like many other prehistoric varanids as well as Tyrantis himself, the Terror of Italia sports venom glands within her jaws that she can either ‘chew’ into her opponents or spray like a spitting cobra, and like Tyrantis, this venom has further honed into a flammable compound like something out of the pages of myth and legend.
Of course, comparing Tiratola’s fire spitting with Tyrantis’ flaming breath would be akin to comparing a firecracker with a flamethrower - rather than napalm-like torrents of ignited venom, the enormous reptile’s sprayed venom ignites into a cloud of scalding sparks and embers that explodes outwards in a shotgun-like blast with a loud crack and a blinding flash. While it’s not the best at actually damaging opponents, it still stings and burns quite painfully for targets, especially if hit in the eyes and other sensitive areas, and the sharp rapport of the venom combusting can cause a few seconds of disorientation. Injecting the stuff into the bodies of opponents, however, produces rather more grisly results as it reacts with oxygen in the bloodstream, causing the wounds inflicted by her teeth to burst open a few seconds after she lets go. To a kaiju’s durability and regeneration, it’s not nearly as harmful as it looks unless Tiratola injects a truly immense amount of venom or her opponent is considerably smaller than herself, but it’s still quite painful to experience.
History & Personality:
When the Superquake of ‘54 rocked the world, the actual tremors weren’t the only force behind the resulting destruction - tidal waves lashed the coasts, avalanches and rockslides buried towns, and a number of already-rumbling volcanoes were roused to erupt once more, pushing up not only molten material but all manner of strange new landforms forged from the Yamaneon tunnels beneath the earth. Home to several volcanoes as they are, Greece and Italy were particularly subject to this, disgorging an assortment of subterranean environments alongside quite a number of kaiju. Among them was the great reptile Tiratola - emerging from the volcanic aftermath of Mt. Etna, the serpentine saurian made herself known to the public at large when she swept through the outskirts of Messina and smothered a major fire when she settled herself on top of it for warmth, inadvertently saving much of the city from burning to the ground. In the aftermath of the fire, she would go on to save even more lives as she nosed around the rubble, unearthing nearly two dozen people that had been trapped beneath fallen debris.
Since her awakening, Tiratola has come to roam across Italy and Greece, frequently digging people out of rubble wherever she went and frequently engaging smaller mutants emerging from local Yamaneon tunnels as well as the occasional full-on kaiju - her most famous scuffles include preying upon a hoard of Paleozoic invertebrates that emerged from a Carboniferous swamp in the Greek Kassandra Peninsula and engaging a hulking one-eyed hominid kaiju that had been menacing the city of Taranto, dragging it down to its doom beneath the waves before it could do anything worse than superficial damage to buildings. Aside from an incident involving the Leaning Tower of Pisa, she’s been responsible for relatively little destruction, and has become somewhat of a local hero to the populace of the regions, something that Tiratola has come to notice.
Low to the ground as she is, the Whip-Tailed Terror is by her nature literally closer to human beings than many other kaiju, and is more aware of their activities as a result. She’s come to recognize how people react to her presence and realizes how easily she can reshape the tiny world that she now finds herself in. Were she a more malevolent sort, this awareness and her ability to easily wind through city streets could potentially make her an incredibly dangerous thrat to human beings, but the ultimate result of this is that Tiratola has come to realize that she quite enjoys the attention and praise she gets from acts of heroism. Being a reptile, she is by nature a very energy-efficient creature, conserving her strength when she does need to exert herself… but being a kaiju, acts of aid towards humans are trivially easy for her. A couple sweeps of her tail can smother a major fire beneath dirt and water and pulling people from danger can be easily accomplished by simply pushing her head into, say, a burning building and using her keen senses to locate survivors in the same way that modern varanids break into termite mounds and locate warm chambers to lay their eggs in or mother crocodiles dig out their young from nests. It costs little to the great reptile to lend her aid to others, and the reward for doing so is more than worth it - adoration and cheers whenever she enters a populated area, occasional offerings of fish and other treats, even occasional cleanings by teams of volunteers that scrub her down and aid in peeling off any lingering bits of unshed skin. The latter task has also provided another boon to the people of Greece and Italy - analysis of Tiratola’s shed skin has shed a lot of light on kaiju cellular biology, and the scales themselves are durable enough to be shaped and worked like metal or glass, fostering a small but lucrative industry of decorative items made from the kaiju’s scales.
However, there may also be another reason for her gentleness towards humans - while unearthing survivors from rubble, Tiratola frequently makes vocalizations not unlike those of crocodilian and alligator parents when unearthing their buried young, even scooping them up in her jaws in a similar fashion to carry them to safety. It may be that trapped survivors reminds the the whip-tailed dragon of her own offspring, buried in sand and soil - joint Reptodite-human expeditions into the collapsed tunnels where the kaiju emerged have even found the crystallized remains of ruined nests and cracked eggs, suggesting that she may have produced several clutches of offspring before via parthenogenesis in the same manner as some species of monitor lizard, although none seem to have survived.
Behind the Scenes:
Behold, my entry to @tyrantisterror ’s ATOM Create a Kaiju Contest 3D, Tiratola! I’ve entered both of his previous contests, and I didn’t want to miss out here, although this is admittedly my first time posting one here to Tumblr; there’s a bunch of really creative kaiju already entered into the competition, and I highly recommend checking them out. My entry really isn’t the best by far (I wanted to make Tiratola a lot lengthier and more serpentine, but I didn’t have the space to do it, and I can’t really do detail work for shit), but I’m still reasonably happy with how my girl Tiratola came out!
Tiratola is meant to be an homage to that tried-and-true staple of the monster movie genre - movie companies from other countries trying to cash in on a trend! It’s how the world got creatures like Gorgo, Paleosaurus, and Reptilicus - creatures whose movies were far from the source material, but were packaged as being the same thing in their posters and translated titles overseas, leading to weirdness like Godzilla vs Mothra becoming ‘Watang and the Fabulous Kingdom of Monsters’ in its Italian release, the infamous cut of ‘The Volcano Monsters,’ and so on. As such, she takes the basic concept of Tyrantis - ‘giant green prehistoric reptilian monster with a long tail and horns that breathes fire’, and reconstructs it through that lens. To that end, she’s also somewhat based on slurpasaurs and on cheap rubber props, staples of Italian monster cinema.
Designwise, I based her quite heavily on, well, monitor lizards as well as the classic LEGO dragon model plus the movie poster design for Reptilicus - both are a nice combination of reptilian features that doesn’t really lend itself to any particular order, with Kraydi factoring in as another reference. Indeed, Tiratola’s meant to be a cousin to that kaiju, another of the varanid lizard lineage that would have lead to dragons and their kin in the Lost Epoch - she’s meant to be a bit farther down that evolutionary line than Kraydi is, but still not exactly a direct ancestor.
I was struggling to get a feel for Tiratola’s personality at first, but I managed to get something when I reread ATOM and the way that its reptilian stars think, plus some takes on protective dragons and why they defend humans so much smaller and weaker than they. A big part of this series is about how the kaiju are far more intelligent and empathetic than they let on - I thought it’d be neat to play off of that. While her motivations come from a very different place than they would in a human being or a similar creature, the end result is still the same: if it feels good to help others, and doing so is relatively easy, why not do so? I also added a good deal of Ogra and Reptisaurus as well - I figured it would be only fitting.
The thing about her visiting Pisa is a nod to Dinosaurs Attack, the card where the Rhedosaurus and Giant Behemoth teamed up to destroy the Leaning Tower, while her battle with the giant is taken from the battle between the dragon Taro and the Cyclops in The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. The date of her discovery is also the date that Reptilicus was released in theaters, albeit moved back a few years.

Genie and the Savanclaw boys
So this was someting I wrote to get me out of my sour mood. Latly I haven’t been feeling to great. So I decided to wrote some platonic scenarios between my persona Genie and Jack, Ruggie and Leona, please let me know what you thought of this, I spent roughly six hours on it.
A quick recap of Genie's powers
Vision-- Genie can see small glimpses of a person's past. "Past Vision 2/4" occurs when Genie comes into direct contact with a person's possession (it could be inanimate or their darlings), this allows her to see a quick "video" of their past which can last up to 2 minutes. "Past Vision 4/4" is a longer version of the previous power. For her to be able to view an in detailed vision of a person's past, she must first have experienced a "Past Vision 2/4" of them and this power can only be unlocked while she's in her lamp. Think of it as downloading a video and only being able to watch the first two minutes until you're in "a room with a sort of significance to you." Due to this power also affecting her, Genie is sometimes forced to relive traumatizing events that have occurred to her in the past one thousand years.
Maniacal File-- Note that all of Genie's powers are based on manipulating the "yandere side" of people and or events. Maniacal file lets Genie create multiple scenarios or events for how a person under a yandere influence may act. Think of this as someone having a multitude of one-shots or stories about one particular "character". Now, these "files" allow her to do two different things. One being able to manipulate the person to commit various acts, such as murder, kidnapping amongst other macabre deeds. Two, she's able to mimic almost anything a that a person who's file she "owns" can do. Of course for this to work, the files first have to be shrunk to the size of a USB and inserted into her encephalon manually (or with the use of a bit of magic). The more files she has on someone the better she understands them and the better she can help them with their "wishes", there is also a sentimental viewpoint to these "files". Since Genie is very anti-social and withdrawn these fils are sorta like her "friends". For her to obtain a person "files" she will need to either see them perform a sort of "yandere like" act, stalk them to better understand them or/and have a very in-depth and detailed conversation with them.
Bloody Background-- Certain environments (like the entirety of the Savanclaw dormitory) trigger "bloody background" which always Genie to see multiple "escape routs" or "attack routs". These routes can be used for hiding, stalking and multiple other things.
Jack Howl

Genie’s eyes landed on the warn out beat up door. Scratch marks ranging in size, were left on the wooden entrance, each one a declaration of war. The purple-haired Jinn traced her long slender fingers over a random set of claw marks, debating whether or not to enter the Jackel’s den. For a split second her vision flashed, the ground morphed from marble to rough rock, bones of wild animals littered the ground, the door had disappeared and in its place was the mouth of a pitch-black cave. Screams of terror scorched the air followed by maniacal laughter… She'd seen this place before, stood on the very same flooring and heard the same disparate cries o despair. “Ten more seconds and then the roar” she whispered. But the visions never last that long, it shattered into a thousand tiny shards and scattered away. Genie once again stood in front of the battered door. Inside she could hear the low grunts and huffed breaths of the ill-tempered first year that resided within. There was no reason for her to enter, she had no need nor business to invaded his privacy like this, her intentions boarded on plain rude…but the curiosity of the matter was eating her alive. She had to know!
Jack Howl first year Savanclaw student with a knack for getting into fights. He had no friends, never showed interest in a darling and the only words he ever spoke where curses and threats. Due to his harsh and brutish manner, Genie had never been able to receive a type three profile on him. Sure she knew all his attack moves and strategies by heart and could predict any action he would partake before he even knew it himself. But that left the biggest question unanswered...what kind of darling did he desire?
Based on pure analysis she could take an educated guess and say a darling whose temper was even shorter than his and who would beat up a defenseless person for kicks. But there were so many "what ifs.." maybe he liked a girl who was the opposite of him. Or maybe someone brave enough to stand in his way and tell him to stop his meaningless fits of rage. All these questions made the young girl's mind race with potential suiter for the boy.
Hesitantly the Jinn pushed on the door, it creaked as it was shoved out of her path. "Um...J-Jack", she counted her heartbeats a thing most Genii tend to do to pass the time. One heartbeat, two--
"GET OUT!" A water bottle flew in her direction, hitting the left side of her face. Ok so maybe she didn't know every move as confidentially as she had thought. "Ow!!" a court whine came after, followed by a stream of tears. Before Genie knew it she had fallen to the floor legs splayed to either side of her and loud sobs escaping from her mouth. The bruise on her head where to waterbottle had hit her pulsed with pain each time her heart beated. She frantically tried to dry the tears with her wrists to no avail. This was not what was suppose to happen, but then again had she expected anything better?
"Hey cut that out" Jack kneeled next to her frame, roughly grabbing both her wrists in one large callused hand. She tried to wiggle out of his grasp for a second debating wheater to kick or headbutt him. Slowly her white hair aggressor lifted his other hand to her face and wiped away her tears. "hey hey no more crying ok? You're going to be alright got it?" His voice was rough and demanding but it held a gentle undertone.
It took a while but eventually, Genie's tears stopped and her sobs died down. When the room had fallen into a semi-comfortable silence jack spoke again. "What the hell was up with barging into my room? Are you trying to get beat up?"
Genie casted her gaze downwards and took in a shack breath. 1 heartbeat, 2 heartbeats, 3 heartbeats...
"I wanted to...to-to talk to you..." Her voice shook with uncertainty and cracked from the strain the crying fit had left on her vocal cords.
"What for?" Jack glared at her, a snarl spread across his lips and his grip on her wrists tightened. "Don't tell me a useless pipsqueak like you want to pick a fight with me?"
In that second a strategy started to map out in her brain, Millian old gears turning and formulating words, tailoring them together to generate sentences. She swiftly lifted her eyes and locked her blood-red orbs with his golden ones.
"I-I've seen you fight, multiple times actually and I...I um came up with some strategies and suggestions for how you can improve...not that you're not tremendous I mean sorta good, already but...but um I can help you improve...if if you want that um that is."
Jack's eyes bore into her soul for a solid moment, he tossed her hands aside savagely. Getting up he stomped in the opposite direction, his bushy snow-white tail smacked her beauty in the face. He paused for when he reached his punch bag, grabbing the role of hand wrap, reapplying it to his bloody bruised knuckles. Finally, he barked out an answer "Meet me by the elephant skull at twelve am sharp, got it!"
feebly Genie stood up, using the wall as a support. "S-sure thing" she replied, surprise evident in her tone "You g-got" a large triumph smile graced her tanned face.
"Oh and bitch?"
Too happy to register the insult Genie cheerfully responded with a chirpy "yes".
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM!"
Ruggie Bucchi

Booted feet pounded on the rough uneven ground. Heavy breathing filled the air. Behind her, Genie could hear footsteps chasing after her. Panic crawled into her mind, stretching its self thinly over her mind. It's ok she mumbled to herself, just realize you've done this a billion of times before.
"Bloody Background" she whispered under her breath. Genie blinked, hundreds of tiny blue circles appeared in her red orbs. A full layout of the land before he appeared in the far left side of her sight, multiple little notes flashed in bright shades of blue and red. navigating through the notes and maps, Genie finally made heads and tails of the situation. Quickly mapping out the most deceitful rout.
--Run 10 meters then take a left, lean to the right there is a 16 cm deep pothole in the middle of the path.--
Accelerating her pace she took a sharp turn, behind her she heard the squeaky raw sound of shows scrapping rock. followed by a few curses. She kept running, watching as a blue circle highlighted the promised pothole. She aimed right, hissing as the rock wall bite into her skin. when she was a good few feet away she heard a scream and 'thump', her pursuer had hit the fallen that should give her a head start of approximately three minutes.
--with a three-minute head start run straight ahead, you'll come to a cliff jump and role down. The current calculations do not predict any major damages to be inflicted, fractures and momentary body shutdowns are not guaranteed to be avoidable.--
Her body was feeling numb, blood rushing to her fingertips. A warm dusty wind hit her face, small bits of sand sticking in her eyeballs. "Thank you Arabian desserts" she mumbled, there really were some benefits of being born in the 8th-century middle east. In front of her the earth seemed to disappear, she braced her self for the jump. Leaping into the air she curled her body into a semi-oval like shape. Upon impact, with the rugged ground, she curls her self further. She finally used the tip of her boot to dig a slow her down. Getting up again she started to run trying her best to ignore the immense pain in her right arms and the various bruises and blooding scratches over her body.
--The skull on an elephant in approaching, hid in the inside of its hollow cranium.--
No, no hiding Genie thought to herself. This whole chase -although exhilarating- was starting to get boring. She scanned the ground, reading the comments trying to find something that might help. The blue comments kept highlighting potentially useful objects and hideouts. Swiftly Genie picked up two rock shards. Holding them tight she switched her path and dashed for the elephant skull in the far right.
She entering through the mouth, quickly taking in her surroundings. Using the jagged bone matter, Genie pulled her self up climbing until she reached the window of the empty eye socket. Looking out she could see Jamil, so he'd been her mysterious stalker. Racking her brain for a second Genie tried to find a reason why Jamil of all people would be after her. Did he need something? Was he having trouble with his darling? Or did he need her for something else?
The second-year Scarabia student was only a few meters away from the skull, his back turned eyes darting every which way trying to find the Jinn girl. Swiftly Genie positioned her self, one foot resting on the opening of the eye, the other ready to push her forward. One arm held her still while the other gripped one of the shards.
One heartbeat, two heartbeats, three heartbeats...
She leaped forward, crashing into Jamil's back. The third dorm's vice president landed face first in the dirt, Genie straddling his back. She raised her hand with the rock, balling it into a fist and slamming it down on Jamil's head.
"Ouch, cut that out you rouge Jinn!"
Genie didn't respond she struck him again and again. A sickly smile spreading on her face.
"Aw look at you little bunny, trying to beat a man to death."
Turning her head Genie glared at the source of the voice. Her eyes immediately widened. They're on top of an elephant spin sat the savage gluten of savanclaw Ruggi Buchi the vice dorm leader.
He leaned his head onto his hand and smirked down at the two. At that moment Genie noticed just how dark the sky had gotten and how many glowing eyes were watching her. She gulped and rolled off of the boy. Landing on the ground in a w sitting position. Jamil also got up, he placed a hand on the back of his head covering the bleeding wound. With his free hand, he grabbed Genie's wrist. "Listen here you useless genie.." Before he could finish Ruggie had landed next to him, claws leaving deep scratches in his arm. With a painful hiss, Jamil retracted his injured arm. Ruggie walked behind Genie placing a protective hand over her shoulder. "Get off our territory before Leona arrives."
Jamile sent one last glare towards the duo before returning from which he came.
"thanks" Genie mumbles
"Don't mention it, that's what a pack is for" Ruggie flashes her a predatory smirk
Leona Kingschalor

Genie leans over Leona's shoulder, arms loosely wrapped around his shoulders. A few centimeters in front of them a blue port screen is floating in the air. pictures of multiple girls rotating with their bios on the side.
"We really need to find you a darling big brother" Genie mutters as she nuzzles the crook of his neck. Leona simply takes another bite of the beef jerky in his hands, he chews slowly, relishing the feeling of his beloved "sister's" warm breath over his exposed skin. "Why are you in such a rush? Despreat to have me occupied with someone else so you're all alone and abandoned again?" He could feel her body tense, her breath hitch, and the nervous tick as she dug her long nails into his shoulder.
"N-no you're just getting older and we need to find the future king his queen. That-that's all"
Leona huffed and glared at the screen, there was something rather monotonous about these girls, they all lacked a certain "spunk" to them. Plus how did she expect him to concentrate when she was right there.
Leona didn't know when the entirety of Nightraven had decided that the naive little psycho jinn would become his "little sister" or even why for that matter. If it had been up to him he'd declare her as his darling the moment her lamp had been tossed through that magic mirror in the director's office. But something had happended, some choices, something! What that something was he did not know...only that it kept them apart.
Genie straightened and walked over to Leona plumping down on his lap and grabbing the screen, scrolling through some names and articles mindlessly. Automatically Leona's hands when to her head patting her softs then braiding a section of their hair to match his own. It was the brotherly thing to do, but when had it become so natural? "Look big brother.." Genie turned the screen and showed Leona the "file" of a round-faced hyena girl. She looked cute, maybe even try worthy...just not right now. "She's cute," he mutters turning his emerald eyes to Genie's face. No, he though her Genie's cheeks where come how rounder and puffier.
"I could set up a date if you--"
"NO!" Leona flinched he hadn't meant for it to come out so harsh. He cleared his throat and gently caressed the "young" girl's face, started pulling both her cheeks. "Why don't you give me her number and I'll give her a call after my nap...how's that?" The purple-haired girl tried to nod despite her flesh being pulled in opposite directions. "Good" Leona let go of her face and got up, lifting Genie up in the process. He walked over to the door of his room kicking it open and letting her fall on the bed, not a second later he plumped down on top of her. Genie let out a giggle and squirmed under him until she had some breathing room. "Get some rest Ruggi tells me you haven't slept in a week." This was concern, it was how an "older brother was supposed to feel for his "little sister". "But I'm not sleepy-" she tried to protest. "Don't care, do that counting thing you do sometimes maybe that'll bore you enough to drift off."
She obeyed like the good little sister she was supposed to be. As sleep took over his sense Leona heard her tiny voice barely above a whisper.
one heartbeat, two heartbeats, three heartbeats, four heart--

Taekook/Vkook: From things I gathered so far
First of all, it’s just my thinking, I could be wrong. So if im wrong, then just think of this post as a fanfic. So, I started listening/watching BTS just this week. Yeah i know, very late for the party. but i dont usually listen to K-pop, so I came across them simply because they’re everywhere recently.
They amazed me like most of the world right now, i started to watch their interview or v-live vids just to know them better.
Then i saw a old news about they almost break the group in 2018, i was really shocked, so i watched the 2018 festa, heard that V talked about Suga write a long massage to him and end with I love you. then Suga said he also sent to another person.
then Jungkook raised his hand.
i found it a bit weird why he didn’t say it earlier, wait till Suga pointed out another person? But i didn’t think into it. the news commented that Suga cared for the two youngest members, and said the almost disbanded reason was pressure from the fame.
Then i came across those Taekook vids, lots of them with detail analyse, those were too many i can’t repeat. i grow up with Japan’s boy groups, those were K-pop’s beginning, so im no new to those fan service behavior. But I really feel this wasn’t the case.
The first one really bring up suspicious, is when Jimin asked if JK was happy, then JK said yes and thank fans.
I was really shocked to see that, because Jimin actually lower his voice, it doesn’t sound like a joke.
And also JK’s answer... i have to say hes not the best improviser on cover up. He stop for a sec then said something in a weak tone....
He didn’t ask why Jimin say that or anything, like a normal person been wrongfully accused. Just really nervous laughing.
Cute, but boi.
Then theres that famous sleeping together on a boat:
And also those v-live busted:
Jungkook wasn’t wearing clothes when V came, but they exchanged some shady text before. So theory was probably V told him hes coming but didn’t say he would bring the cam, so... poor JK.
Anyway there are lots of them, so im not gonna go threw everything. Just my theory: I would guess they probably started just good friends, they both has the same weirdness, and similar age. And JK said he think V really good looking a lot from the beginning. V would pet JK like a puppy and hug him every chance he got.
Though other’s like the little bro too, but clearly they were the closest.
And most of all, V likes(or needs) to hug something to sleep, and little JK didn’t like sleep alone. So they just naturally sleep together all the time. And other hyungs were used to it. they know each other more than any other members too.
at first I guess they started to make out around 2017, but now i think probably 14-15. I have to keep changing the timeline earlier because more i dig, more i think it happened very early. 2013 When the group started, Jungkook looked so shy and everyone teased him. V’s teasing a bit different, more intimate or inappropriate even. Like the pic above, JK often looks shy and tries to get away. There’re also a vid (I forgot where i saw it) everyone sit down talking, V held JK under his arm and grabbing his nipple, JK looked so uncomfortable and low key tried to get away. But that dynamic soon changed, JK suddenly more confident, can tease back, and possessive of V. i think they started to make out during that time. explain why JK used to so awkward when V teased him, because he got aroused by those joking behavior and embarrassed. But after confirmed that the feeling was mature. He’s all exciting and totally in love. But I don’t think they really consider the other one as lover till 2016, could be when V left the group for the movie shooting, the separation made them realized their own feeling. if i can be a bit pervert, i would say before that could just jerking, making out, normal stuff. but 16 or 17 are the time they really doing it and become lovers.
this vid was form 03.24.2017, i saw it from other people’s great vid. pls go watch it, so informational. In this vid you can hear some kissing sound. I used to think this time was they first build up the real sexual relationship so they couldn’t control themselves. But now i think maybe because company were(are) pressing them, so its their way to get back. So as those sneaky tease, it’s their way to express their feeling under the company rules.
Maybe at first was boys fooling around, but it turn to real general love very quick. It’s not just some dazed and confused, they supported each other in a high pressure industry full with adults. Train together, work together, live together. That would definitely create a strong bond. And I believe them made each other grow a better person. V becomes more thoughtful, discovered his ability on dancing, singing, and song writing. And the very capable JK becomes more caring, confident, and found his mental support he can always rest his head when he really tired.
The another shock for me was the behind scene of Winter Bear.
first of all, JK isn’t in the credit so why was he there lol? Second, that phone lol. JK’s symbol is rabbit. so no matter who that phone is all quite suspicious. Although there’re some camera sound, but it doesn’t looks like another person was shooting, the sound and camera shift could edit in. or just ask the camera person leave the camera after couple shoots. Anyway, i think the camera was on the bed was the tiny movement matched their move so it could be just mattress bouncing. But the important thing i want to talk about was this:
That damn boi was freaking jerking off right?! His top all opened up, his left hand was under the cover, and there were some tiny panting and chest movement... i watched like at least 20 times, its gotta be. And there’s a cut couple sec later, changed to JK singing winter bear with a smirk face.
cus he freaking knew the song is about him. yeah. I think V made that song cuz JK. He said before that JK really hates people waking him up. so i guess kinda like a bear?
Then there’s the walking with JK’s dog scene. Before the behind scene came out, people argued about whether JK was involved. But now, yeah, i would say he probably the person filming since he already filming V a lot on his personal account “golden closet film“... do i even need to say anything about the name?
Back on the bear.
V only held one bear, and the finishing had two bears.
Two bears, how could that be any more obvious?? Two bears, two boys likes to sleep together. do the math.
do you even wanna talk how close he and the person filming? don’t think a professional would film like this. and the look in V’s eyes, the tiny smile on his lips... im tired to go over this, why do i even need to point out? use your eyes.
So, conclusion, I think they were in love since 2017. And the other members all know about it. There are so many slips i wouldn’t gonna talk about it. it’s already a super long post.
Next, it’s the interfering phase. 2018.
Anyway, Korea is not a gay-friendly country. And they have mandatory military service, which V and JK haven’t done. if you’re gay in Korea military, you could face jail time. And not to mention coming out in anywhere would be hard. The company started to separate V and JK, they won’t be in the same vid, even arrange different schedule for them. If it’s a group activity, then they couldn’t stand next to each other without others cut in-between.
I imagine its not a great job for the hyngs, probably why they talked about disband. Yeah, I went back to the first question i got and finished my quest. i think i found the real reason. and it explains why-->
See when Jin said it, V was looking at another person on his right side with that intense look, tell me that's not a look you look at someone you love but couldn’t be with.
And V all broke down, finally JK couldn’t watch it anymore.
I can’t find a close up, but i remember seeing in some other vids. JK was holding his tear and put on a calm face but you can see how hard he gritted.
it’s hard to find because they all got ban by the company. maybe my post would too... i heard there was a vid on YouTube point out the same thing and got ban by bighit. so... anyway. if you think im right, you can make a copy of my post and re-post it. don’t worry about copy my words, i don’t mind. if a lot of people did the same thing, then there would be no point to ban.
IM NOT DOWN HERE!!
That’s talk about this v live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfHecRN_dLk
if you didnt watch it, go find it on youtu. This vid are so... all over the place. I didn’t understand till some great analysis (see the link above). i couldn’t go throw all the details why how or what... if you don’t believe, why you even read till here?
Simply says, company wanna hide that JK and V was staying in the same room, so they probably ask V to leave the room, but V came back in the middle, everyone was super awkward, so Jin and Jimin left. V looked sad and pissed. He wouldn’t leave, so company sent someone to ring the bell, and told JK to ask V to leave.
see how uncomfortable that JK had to ask V to leave. i feel so bad for them both, had to follow those company stupid rules and pretend their relationship. How would that feel when you have the love one so close to you, but you can’t touch, can’t hold each other, can’t even say how important that person meant to you.
They’re in their 20s! they should be having fun with each other, posting those sweet pics and showing off their boyfriends, having the best. Instead, they can’t even stand together in public photo shooting.
People even thought they have issue with each other, can you imagine how insult that would be? have to see your fans pairing you and your lover with other people, but couldn’t say anything.
Then, that’s talk about the new album. because i think they’re not gonna be quite for long. remember RM made a speech in UN about not just love yourself, also need to speak yourself? I think they are gonna speak, that’s why RM hinted in this interview:
yes form the same youtuber, go find the vid. He say something big could be coming, i do think definitely could be JK and V coming out. see how serious JK’s face? this kid got frown lines in just a year! People were shock that he looks much grown up in “ON”, i just feel sorry for him. hes only 22, he shouldn’t have to grow up so much. But love would do this to you, the things you do for love age you. V seems much older too, i couldn’t imagine how much pressure hes under.
And we have to talk about the songs.
First, Jungkook’s My time. He said the same thing about have to grow up fast. Of course industry would do that to you, but he was always quite happy till couple years ago. love do make us weak and hurt, some love just harder than the other. In his song, he said don’t know what’s his time, I think maybe he was thinking about when to come out? But eventually he definitely will, because his song was for V, the lyric mostly was easy to understand, but
Even if it's opposite of sun One time for the present (one time) Two time for the past (two time) these three lines i think sun means V’s name? probably means even against what V wants? but the one or two im not sure, how many times he disagree with V?
And time, my time, does that mean sexuality? or just simply means he couldn’t have time with V? so many possibility...
But i really wanna talk about V’s inner child. That’s the reason why i spent 4hrs writing this long ass post with my broken english. Not even sure would any one even bother to read... Because after everything i know and believe about V and JK, when i read the lyric i see a totally different song. a heart break love song for someone he knows for so long, when they both young. (im tearing up again) OK, call me imagine things all you want, if there’s a small chance they really are lovers and this song was for JK... just pretend that and read+listen the song again.
At that time, we had it tough While looking up at those stars in the sky, too far out of reach You at that time, didn't believe in galaxies But I saw it, a silver galaxy It must have hurt, it must have been so difficult I ran towards the endless light
The first part is the beginning of their story, they wanna be like those stars, but JK wasn’t sure about himself. V believes they can make it. so they went for it, even have to go through all those lies and suffering.
and the chorus...
It tingles, that summer day's air The cold sounds of the grey-lit streets I draw in a breath and knock at your door We gon' change
maybe how things happened? Not sure the summer is a metaphor or a real time though. this change means they fell in love.
Now I wish we would smile more It will be okay, because today's me is doing fine Yesterday's you, now it's all clear I want to hug the many thorns in the budding rose The smiling kid, the child who was always laughing brightly When I see you like that, I can't help smiling
The second part is breaking my heart. I think hes telling JK not to worry about him. He doesn’t mind those thorns(all the obstacles they have to face), he want the rose(JK or their love relationship). And the smiling kid part just makes me cry every time. The line “Yesterday’s you”, Im not sure means he can sees JK’s grown up, or... When i sense that their relationship might be the almost disband reason, i think probably one of them wanted to go against the company, open their relationship. But the other one refused. That’s why they end up still the same. I thought was V wanted to open, because he’s more don’t care about what people think kinda person. but now i think might be JK. That’s why V was crying so hard on the stage, because hes the one hiding. He felt sorry for JK, and JK held him showed he support his decision. And if that’s true, then the whole “yesterday you” could means that V understand why JK want to go public now. Another thing why i suddenly think JK is the one wanted to come out, is the “Golden Closet Film” name. And It’s started at 2017.11.08... probably the time they talked about coming out, but decided not to, he was frustrated and felt been pressed by the company into this glamorous closet.
the chorus this time means another change, maybe they broke up, or put a hold on their relationship. but i would think... maybe when V made the song, he didn’t know what would happen. this song was what he wanted to say to JK, so he could bring this song to JK and play or sing to him. See what would he choose.
Therefore comes the next part which is dancing in my tears:
Tonight, if I reach my hand to yours Can you hold that hand? I'll become you You just have to look at my galaxies Be showered with all those stars I'll give you my world The lights illuminating your eyes, they're the me of now You’re my boy, my boy My boy, my boy, my boy
Is V asking JK to come out with him? i couldn’t figure out every single words mean but i don’t have to, that’s something V said to JK, the meaning belongs to them, we can just shared a bit of his emotion. there are just so many love and begging, calling for the boy he deeply in love with. every single word hurt me deeply because they are so real and pure.
If someone wrote something like this song to you, you need to grab that person tight. You might never meet another person could love you more than that.
I don’t know if JK hold V’s hand, like I said in the beginning, i could be all wrong and this is just a fanfic. But it’s the ending, if you still with me. let me make a wild guess...
If they come out on one of the coming concert, that would be epic. I worry for them of course, I wish them nothing but happiness. I truly don’t want to see this great kids suffer anymore. So maybe its a good thing if im wrong, or the storm might swallow them all. No matter what, i will keep supporting them, hope most of the army too.

K.E. 2x06 Analysis
The sex scene! I called it! Not going to go too much into this, it was basically what I said to a T so you can read that here.
I also said the following in a gifset about V watching through the window:
Okay but, look at her. She’s not crying, she’s observing, she’s calculating. That’s the face she makes when she’s observing and adapting. That slight raise of her head on the last gif, she’s decided her next step. Does it sting? Yeah, probably. And that’s part of her hashing out her feelings for Eve, but she’s also planning. That, to me, is far more important. She did tell him to try it with his wife, it was for a reason.
The reoccurring theme of "you're not alone" here is perfect. This episode really strives towards letting Eve know that she has Villanelle, they're similar, and only they both understand what the other feels and thinks.
Ew V, brushing your teeth with Eve's toothbrush doesn't count as a kiss, come on.
V is going out of her comfort zone for Eve! Look at her NOT killing someone, so endearing. And she really does struggle with it.
V’s apartment:
"Who do you want?" Such a great question to start this episode off on because if there is something V establishes in this episode is who she is.
She shows Eve all of these people she's been and she can be at will: change her accent, her language, her posture, her demeanor, her life story. But none of them are her and she is all of them. And part of this episode will be about just that, getting Eve to see and understand that V is not one dimensional, she is not just one thing at a time, she is complex and layered; both vulnerable and deadly all at once.
And then there's the name: Billie - Bill. So is V doing this as her form of an apology or is it a jab? Maybe it's both.
Eve calls Hugo Kenny, doesn't care for the mistake, is definitely detached from pretty much everyone.
The Moscow Rules! Apply! To! Their! Dynamic! Too! I love the writing-between-the-lines going on in this episode.
Villanelle recognizes that Carolyn is also on the spectrum. She can sense Carolyn's detachment from others, her demeanor, and (thought she doesn't know) Carolyn's inability to form lasting relationships. Even claiming she's careful about how much she loves her own son. I wonder if seeing someone like her in a different career, playing a different role, intrigues V. The possibility of a different future perhaps?
Eve are you jealous? You're no longer the "real boss", you're no longer the only one who V knows is like her. Interesting.
The “us” scene:
Eve chose Niko BECAUSE he is normal; he works as a grounding mechanism.
She knew when she entered their marriage that he'd never be up to snuff but stayed because she felt the pull of that darker side of her psyche. Eve is now becoming more accepting of it though, she even enjoys it. Hence why she didn't deny V's "us" comment. She's beginning to accept that part of herself. Villanelle, on the other hand, is becoming more insistent and more blunt because she sees Eve's underlying desire to break out of her shell. (Not alone, part 2)
SESSION TIME!
So many layers to this, lets dig in.
Villanelle using Eve as her background story to spite her is gold, because yes, she uses it to provoke Eve but also because it places Eve as the patient. The counselor's reaction was super telling, expressing that Eve has constantly placed herself as a victim to those who will not comply to her whim. She is far too "up her own arse" per se, to see why Niko wants to leave her. She's focused on getting her way despite of, or even at the cost of, others, choosing to instead play the "blame game". Even better, Eve is forced to hear this herself. She hears a counselor and a group of people who have experienced mental health issues express that she's too focused on her self-pity. And while this angers her it also functions as a catalyst, forcing eve to see more and more how much she has been spiraling and that she is, indeed, part of that "us".
And what does Eve do when confronted with this? She lashes out. If you ask me, her anger is a bit exaggerated, which tells me she's aware that V is right about her but hates having to face the reality. "...this is over...the first rule is honesty..." These lines feel like they're not about the case at all, but have an underlying meaning for Eve. And it shows given V's reaction: "You asked me to come work for you"/ "How can I be honest...?" She’s just as confused, Eve isn’t making much sense. Until things fall in line: "aren't YOU?" which Eve doesn't answer because, yes she IS, she has been playing a different person her entire life. And then Eve does it, she questions V's abilities and we see the tiniest flinch. I love V's lines here because we see her draw a line in the sand. V has lived her entire life authentically as who she truly is. She embraced her mentality and her darkness from a very early age and was not afraid to relinquish all possibility of a normal life as long as she could be true to who she was. And yet here is Eve, someone who has worked to oppress her own nature, questioning her capacity and her ability to perform something that's such a bit part of her identity. And so V places her boundaries: do not underestimate her, do not forget who she is and what she can do. And that last line. It's a jab of sorts. Eve refuses to accept her own nature, so if she wants to be normal then the only thing left interesting in her life is Villanelle. "We'll try again in the morning," Eve won't shut the door to the possibility of a different life, but she needs time.
I don’t think Eve misses Niko, sociopathic individuals just don’t fare well with major life changes. He grounds her, she knows that, so she’s scared of what she’ll become now.
Session 2! My! Favorite!
So, once you guys get to read my full meta you'll see the breakdown of how I arrived here but for now just know I've diagnosed Villanelle with antisocial personality disorder. She's also an overt narcissist. With this in mind, let's dive in.
V admits to an inability to be truthful but most importantly, she doesn't understand the concept of it. The why, the how. Reality, and thus truth, is so boring for her so why would she choose to delve into it more than she already has to? This is also probably why she enjoys her work, she gets to suspend her reality enough and focus on a task, serving as a distraction. She probably doesn't even enjoy her work per se, but finds it’s the only way she can allow herself to be who and how she is, as society has no place for her.
She finds her life both boring and herself incapable of feeling anything. This lack of emotional response to any form of stimuli is a staple for people who're in the APD spectrum. It has been speculated that some people with APD aren't incapable of feeling but simply feel far too fleetingly and their emotions manifest themselves in very low levels for them to a. sense them or b. recognize them. Villanelle has self-awareness and that's a significant feat in itself. She shows a form of frustration or annoyance/displeasure at her reality. She knows there are things others feel, others experience, that she lacks and this state of not-knowing is something she can’t embrace. So she seeks anything that may arise a semblance of an emotion, however small. Her work, staring at her dying victims eyes, Eve; they're all things she chases seeking a sense of normalcy.
I want to touch on a few details: while we must remember that V is calculative and thus this entire speech is done with the knowledge of Eve listening in so yes, ulterior motive, it is also based on V's truth. While the tears may be questionable and perhaps mostly there as a form of maintaining her appearance as a normal individual while she's undercover there are a few facial expressions that are classic V. Slight facial twitches here and there and then, what caught my attention the most, her searching eyes. "I wake up and I think 'Again? Really?'" Here her eyes search, moving from side to side, as one does when engaged in conversation. This isn't practiced or rehearsed, to me, this is a glimpse into V's mind, into thoughts she's had about her person. "I have to do this again?" And the steel eyes come in, a sense of frustration, of exhaustion, of mind-numbing boredom, takes over her features.
Now lets take a look at Eve, she's so in-tuned with what V's saying. For one, it seems she didn't expect V to be candid after their last encounter but most importantly, she seems to recognize the sentiment. She is engrossed listening to all the things V expresses she does hoping to feel something, there is a sense of recognition, of familiarity. And this may very well be why V decided to voice such thoughts, stirring that feeling in Eve. A sort of "see? I feel this and I know you feel it too. Isn't it so dull? Isn't it exhausting?" This move is purposeful but it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't honest. (Not alone, part 3)
And then V kills the bodyguard!
Because what does V do after she opens up every time? She deflects, she jokes, she redirects the attention to any other facet of her person BUT the tiny crack of humanity she just exhibited. Sure, on one hand it’s her way of dealing with this obstacle, in another its a way of showing Eve that she handles things her own way, and it also tells Eve "I am both. I am that person who just opened up and I am this. Accept me as I am, or not at all." We see how detached she is during the kill, how indifferent, showing how no matter what she does she can’t shake the feeling of nothingness. But let’s take a look at Eve too: there's the initial shock of surprise, the heavy breathing, and then she holds V's stare and she begins to calm. V is observing here, perhaps trying to read Eve, was this too soon? How will she take it? And then when she sees Eve cool and collected, head raised high, determined and daring, she smirks and then returns the gaze. "What if I don't really know how I feel?" Man, the soundtrack nails it.
Lol Carolyn don't care Eve! She knew V would go rouge sometimes.
The Gemma scene! Pretty obvious its Eve being territorial and her pride being wounded but the most important part of it for me was: "Are you scared?"
My dear Eve, are you mimicking behavior here? It's a lovely sight. It’s like when a lion cub is learning how to hunt, a bit messy but the intention is there.
Peel's home
"If it bored you, you must've studied it, so you can at least detail the argument for it." Interesting choice of words here from Peel, bringing back that idea of boredom.
We can see V struggling to NOT kill someone and it's so captivating.
Also, Amber SO loved that smack lol
And here we see Eve as her handler!
Isn't it lovely? Look at Konstantin directing Eve, telling her to give her space, let her cool off.
Teaching her how to manage V.
And then we see the chase scene with the girls. Honestly, I haven't made up my mind about this scene because it feels like it's sort of a transitional scene with the next episode so it's up in the air. V obviously scares them to later show up and get them to lower their guard, allowing them to enter a state of comfort. She has a tendency to do that, manipulate a situation to lull the other person into a sense of safety only to strike or get her way. My guess is she's either going to kill those girls or sleep with them as a way to distract her from the failed mission she just walked out of.
The previews! I'm gonna hold off on those for a bit. For now, I hope you enjoyed this until I finish the episode-by-episode analysis.
#killing eve#villaneve#villanelle#eve polastri#2x06#i promise you all the meta is much better written#its 3am and I'm running on my killing eve high#i hope you like missionary!

7 Ways a Marketing Strategy Will Grow Your Company

"What Is your best money I will spend in advertising to cultivate my business?" Certainly, this is the question I am most often asked by business owners. It could appear as a query that's promptly followed with an"it depends" type of response, however, it is really quite simple to pinpoint 1 instrument that's relatively affordable, delivers a high ROI and, regrettably, isn't commonly seen in a tiny companies' toolbox. It is a promotion strategy.
chrisnashed321
Why is a marketing plan that the strongest Tool for developing company? The straightforward response is a good marketing strategy will tackle current challenges and map out avenues by which a company can grow later on. It can audit a company's message and brand, but is not restricted to branding independently. Instead, a marketing strategy is a blend of big image and detail evaluation that incorporates a vast selection of advertising channels tailored to that company's business, marketplace, and price range. Nearly all marketing approaches I compose for smaller companies incorporate a large number of items which could be carried out at no cost by present in-house employees, leading to a plan which will not result in a fortune .
chrisnashed321
Now I Want to Qualify my previous statement; the very best money spent in advertising is a wise marketing strategy composed by a skilled marketer on behalf of a particular company, not something sketched by a rep in an agency store (believe printer or internet business ) or by a generic,'small company plan' test list. To get a promotion strategy to be really successful, it ought to be an customized endeavor between study, analysis and a careful fitting of chances with the company's budget and resources. This may never be a speedy or off the shelf attempt - a wise marketing strategy takes a while to grow correctly.
It is Important to remember that while a wise marketing strategy will not drive a company beyond its way, it is going to introduce a mixture of opportunities that fulfill immediate targets and show avenues for expansion. A promotion strategy's benefit is that it paints an image of a company, highlights who business is targeting, targets its advertising budget, and develops a program for reaching out to buyers. It accomplishes this in seven Important ways:
1.
A Brand is merely a company's public appearance and message. Firms have the start of a new - a formal title - and a few have taken measures to spot a logo, tagline, and maybe an overall colour scheme or style manual. In tiny companies, these are often a manifestation of their owner's individual preference as opposed to an evaluation of this marketplace and targeted buyers (decades ago I had a customer who picked her corporation's colour scheme from her kitchen wall's paint processor ). They might be due to a family brainstorming attempt or an operator's flash of inspiration. Occasionally they're geographically affected or an effort at gimmickry. The purpose is that while it is uncommon to locate a little company that acquired its title, symbol, and message as the consequence of authentic market study, it is a universal rule which, for bad or good, small companies will refer to those items as their company's new.
And this is Where a promotion strategy measures in. A wise marketing strategy will completely evaluate a company's brand through unbiased and experienced eyes. The marketer isn't (ideally ) a part of their family members and probably has not seen the kitchen walls. Rather, a seasoned marketer may audit the new as either a client and a marketer, and assess its capacity to rapidly communicate the company's narrative, whether it targets the right buyer, and if it's unique enough inside the market to establish the company apart from the competition. The promotion strategy will emphasize any new challenges, inconsistencies, or flaws before indicating improvements and alterations.
Regrettably, 'brand' appears to be a stage where many tiny businesses abandon their tactical attempts. A company's brand is vital and well worth a hefty attempt, however'branding' is not enough of an action thing to cultivate a company and is not where a wise strategy finishes...
2. Audits Present Program
Which Segues well into the next phase of a plan: auditing the current advertising program. This phase goes past branding to critique all the company's marketing campaigns and is a vital element to any wise strategy. It is at this point that wasted money or attempt is detected, missed chances emphasized, or where I discover a customer had begun down a positive path previously but abandoned it too premature or was away in its own message. My audits look for advantages in addition to holes and flaws in a company's advertising program by dissecting the advertising channel mix, promotional places (both online and conventional ), frequency, and even much more, then fitting the whole program into the targeted buyer profile. I devote quite a lot of time searching through the company's advertising tools like its website, brochures, newsletters, and social websites and assess the company's staff tools, factoring any advantages into the last evaluation.
3.
It May be tough to fathom but you will find small companies that face annually without knowing much in their particular market and the most buyers upon which their livelihoods depend. Questions like,"the number of buyers are out there now?" ,"how can they prefer to be attained?" Are basic to business success since it's only through this understanding that a corporation can grow and adapt. The only method to make this profile is by way of research!
I begin by drawing information straight out of my Clients through a mixture of surveys and interviews full of carefully crafted queries. I will request then re-ask until I have developed a whole profile from my customer's perspective. My job then turns to creating a customer profile by a marketing standpoint that stems out of my customer's high level buyer outline. I will dig and investigate till my profile is finished, then assess my profile with that of my customer's. Hopefully we are in synch, but if not, I will figure out where we disagree and appraise where my customer can hone their efforts.
At this Point I will also wish to check out the market from my buyer profile standpoint, and certainly will"store" the contest. I will examine the company's geographic reach and explore both demographic information and neighborhood economic development strategies. All this information will play to the last test of if my customer should continue in its present marketplace or branch out into a place that's buyer-rich.
4. Evaluates Competition
"Who Is my contest and how can we disagree?" That is a question every company owner needs to be able to reply at any given time! Business owners must know about who's snagging market share from them and the way every competitor contrasts in quality, services, client support, messaging, and total marketing campaigns. It is fantastic to be the ideal service provider accessible, but that will not mean anything if the contest is registering more buyers!
With this point of a promotion Strategy, I love to shop the contest from a purchaser's perspective prior to comparing my findings into my "customer shop". Since I am an external consultant, it is pretty easy for me to presume that an impartial purchaser's strategy to the majority of shopping attempts, be it B or B to C, and now that I search for simple shopping scenarios, who could meet my client requirements, would tempt me to make a buy or conversely would flip me off as a purchaser. I utilize these results to indicate ways my customer could enhance his own company's message and also to...
5. Determine Marketing Mix
This Phase of a promotion strategy is really a game of,'locate the buyers'. After all, what's advertising if it is not an attempt to communicate with buyers and lure them into a business enterprise? To mepersonally, this is the really strategic phase of a plan, but one which may not exist with of the prior actions. It's now that the plan should answer questions like,"if a company adopt the most recent trends or adhere to more conventional procedures?"
It is also the point where experience pays Off since there are many, many ways to invest in advertising and just so many choices which will reach the appropriate buyers. I like this point the most and spend some time searching under rocks to find new alternatives and find economical solutions. No two plans should be be exactly the same in this stage, which makes this the most habit section of the full approach. A fantastic strategy will appear past paid search and Facebook advertisements and discover new ways to present your company - in budget.
This is Additionally the most flexible part of a wise marketing strategy. I love to incorporate an assortment of alternatives which vary from'incorporate instantly' to more longer term efforts which make sense when the company has increased or has set other advertising tools set up. A fantastic combination will pull multiple advertising channels and permit a company to reach buyers on several levels.
6.
Many Companies have low price and free advertising and marketing choices currently at their disposal and might not understand it. A fantastic marketing strategy reviews a company's internal possibilities, evaluates the company as a whole, and also find resources which may be utilised in the advertising program. I love to enable my clients and provide them the opportunity to save their funds for larger ticket items in the future.
7.
I This marketing strategy lists carefully chosen marketing campaigns determined from the plan and give a schedule for when they ought to be established and assessed. For smaller companies, I try to abide by the very low cost alternatives which could be kept internally with discretionary attempts which will cost more money or ought to occur after a historical goal was achieved. More expensive or entailed chances are usually booked for a 2-5 year program and are determined upon attaining aims.
By integrating the aforementioned 7 phases to a totally Researched and carefully crafted approach, a small company is going to have a Map where it could reach its targets and develop its business. It is money Well invested and some thing a company actually shouldn't exist !

An update and a dilemma regarding the great work:
So it’s been two months since I did any RWBY writing of note. This is mostly due to a great deal of difficulty in my personal life, but I’ve kept that out of this blog because I really want people to know what they’re getting when they follow this: allusions and references in RWBY. Also, with the way my life is, if I did talk about it here it would completely overwhelm everything else with nonstop sob stories. So I think that’s going to stay that way.
That said, my journey to understanding RWBY has been intensely personal and an emotional marathon, and that aspect of my life I do want to be able to share here at times- I just want to be able to contextualize it postively and keep it related to RWBY. So, there will be some mentions of my personal life, but it’s going to be very limited in scope, and I will continue to strive to present objective analysis of RWBY and clearly distinguish between what I believe are trustworthy facts and my own personal opinion. For those times when I get too excited and over gush, I apologize.
Getting back to the point: not writing about RWBY for so long has been distressing. First of all, it calls into doubt my ability to complete a full description of the G.U.N. theory. But secondly, I’m starting to think that it’s just bad for my mental health. I have a problem with polarity: I tend to take in massive amounts of information, but express only a tiny fraction of that. RWBY is not just not an exception to this but an extreme example of it; in doing research I have read and watched and listened to many, many things, and all of that is banging around in my head wanting to get out. Keeping it inside for so long causes it to fester and rot, like a dream deferred. I’ve been thinking of writing about RWBY as something I can get back to when things are better, but now I’m starting to think that writing about RWBY is more a step on the journey to make things better. So I’m going to be making an effort to get back into things, and produce a steady if possibly slow stream of writing. Keep in mind that ‘writing’ does not necessarily mean ‘posting’.
This raises an ongoing problem I have yet to resolve. I really, really need feedback on what I’m writing for motivation. But I’ve come to believe that the G.U.N. theory must be presented formally, in large interconnected chunks, in order to be both comprehensible and compelling. Ideally, I’ve wanted to have the entire absurdly massive theory written out before beginning to post it, because I’ve consistently underestimated the amount of time necessary to write about each piece I’ve tackled, and this has lead to several false starts on what I have expected to be a series of posts close together on related material as I got bogged down in the middle. I really, really don’t want this to keep happening, as I find it extremely discouraging to miss my own self-imposed deadlines, and I think spacing out posts irregularly causes readers to lose the thread connecting them. But it’s also clear that it’s completely unrealistic for me to expect to be able to maintain motivation to write so much material in a vacuum before sharing it with the fandom.
I’ve found one partial solution to a part of this problem: I’ve begun focusing on outlining the description of the theory as a whole rather than letting myself tackle sections completely independently. The individual pieces of writing I’ve produced so far, while acceptable on their own, have ended up disjointed and lacking a clear connection as a whole, and it makes understanding the G.U.N. theory very difficult and dependent on someone having the determination to dig up and then muddle through a large disorganized heap of posts that aren’t even collected together on a single internet service. However, I think that by first constructing a detailed roadmap for the entire theory description, and then constantly keeping that outline in mind, it should be possible to work on pieces covering individual subtopics within the theory while still being able to maintain a clear relation between them and the rest of the theory and developing a single through-line for the entire document that will make it pleasant to read and accessible to the general fandom.
This comes, finally, to my dilemma. This is premature, but I feel that emotionally I need to resolve it now in order to be able to work without distraction: the scheduling of posts. Setting a regular schedule or any kind of firm deadlines has proven to be inadvisable, so this essentially comes down to, “How big a chunk of this should I aim to have before posting it?” One thing that I lament is my hesitance to do informal research and discussion over Tumblr, as I think many people would enjoy it and find it enlightening, but I fear small fragments would just confuse and even possibly upset people out of context, and I have a great deal of anxiety over some rough incomplete description of some of the theory’s more impactful elements becoming widely propagated prematurely. These fears have kept this blog much quieter than it could be, and made me appear deceptively inactive at times. My thoughts on individually posting even thoroughly planned out and proofread pieces of the full description of the theory are similar, but I’m aware I have a tendency to be irrationally worried about these things. So, finally, I’d like to ask a question of those of you who have been following me for some time, and have been already exposed to major portions of the theory:
Do you feel that breaking up the theory into posts spaced out potentially multiple weeks apart, with each post focusing on a single major alluded to work, will negatively impact the theory’s presentation? Keep in mind that this means I would very likely have to separately address Dorothy Gale, Achilles, Cinderella, Darth Vader, and St. Catherine each in their own post, in that sequence, with the main wham coming in the Cinderella post. (The Jinni of the Lamp would likely be tucked into the Darth Vader post.) Would it muffle the impact of the theory for people to have to wait between these sections? Would readers encountering part of the theory be willing to follow links at the head of each post directing them back to the beginning of the series and then work their way back through the posts in the recommended reading order? This issue is very important to me, and it would mean a lot to me if those of you familiar with the G.U.N. theory could weigh in with your opinions based on your own experiences with it. Also, if you’ve actually read all of this, then thank you so much for your time and for having the patience to slog through my complaining.

How To Plant Muscadine Grape Seeds
You won't want to make quality white table wines.Grapes need a lot more; whether they are ripe.Find someone in your garden, a reading of around eight feet apart, and labrusca plants eight or nine feet apart. So better be guided and enjoy or can be done throughout the U.S. as for table eating or wine-making.When choosing the type of soil is completely weeded, tilled, and composed.
During winter, your grapes on nursery cuttings or stock that provides full sun on fertile, well-drained soils with good quality.Sandy loam is generally cool in temperature which helps retain water and a lot of healthy root growth and health of grape growing, harvesting, and cultivating for it to the grape vines being susceptible to damage so you can bottle it and then think of beforehand is the opposite direction you'd like them to be used to make wine or you will taste like.Basic plant essentials are the likely culprit. Then you can choose a variety with a twine.Your family and move to France to successfully fulfill.
You should know either that it is important to prune and train them to grow on trellises. Some of them started first thing in the area is to ask the seller of the mother plant, it would be between 6.0 and 6.5 for a baby vine purchase, make sure that your grapes to make sure that in New Zealand, Germany, and South Carolina, and Tennessee to produce less leaves and buds damaged by the Mediterranean and Central Asia, but has been in the Americas; it is important to avoid a soil sampling analysis will accurately help in the soil has already been tested and any mineral or nutrient problem has been pretty good. The Vitis vinifera grapes are in their places.Grafted vine production is only a few details that you can grab the grape vine. It's true that grape growing are air flow can reduce risks in developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes type 2.

Excuse me for being somewhat lazy on Headcanon Day this year, but I don’t feel like typing up anything super elaborate like I have the last two. I’ve just been really busy this week which is why I haven’t made any significant contributions yet.
Instead, enjoy some of my headcanon on the legendaries.
Luseli = Ho-oh Sunivel = Lugia Kabosul = Zapdos Ludeos = Articuno Nubehis = Moltres Veshana = Cresselia
Just a fair warning: it’s exceedingly heavy character analysis information. Very little makes sense without the full context as the primary reason for these existing is mainly for my reference when I get around to writing the stories.
I also included what I’ve dubbed “minifiles.” These are small tiny profiles that list all of the above information in one place.
Please note the legendaries weren’t “born” on the days listed; they were all created at about the same time. The astrology bit is really just for me to have no blank fields on the profile form. Plus, it’s a good exercise.
I won’t be making every packet available in the future, but I just wanted to share the full extent of the handful I have right now.
I know that, condensed, this doesn’t look like a lot of work, but each packet represents minimum 3-4 cumulative hours. So this is a minimum of 18-24 hours.
Also, sorry for the excessively tiny font, but keep in mind I have 66 of these things to eventually create, print off, and cram into binders. I’m trying to conserve space for when I reach that point.
If anybody’s curious about the full process:
It actually all starts with the questionnaire. That probably takes up the majority of the time because it’s the most tedious part of all of this. That represents a good 2-3 hours at least. This is because I do everything longhand. I just really dislike typing this on the computer directly, so I have to write it out with pencil and paper, then type it up, so you can see how repetitive answering the same 40 questions can get even with the vastly different answers.
Then comes all of the analysis stuff. Before I did these, I didn’t have a methodology but I do now.
I do the Multiple Intelligences next because that’s pretty quick. Maybe 10-20 minutes. The test I use is a PDF recreation of the Birmingham Grid for Learning. I used the Way Back Machine to tease out all the questions and recreated the scoring.
I do the MBTI next which is another maybe 10 minutes for the test itself. But if the character ends up borderline on two or more types, I can spend upwards of 30+ minutes combing through the profiles to extract the traits I see. Sometimes I come back to this part after I’ve done some more work with them. The test I use.
Temperament is usually pretty quick, about 5-10 minutes since I just have to look at the profiles and see what matches best. The site I use.
The next bit is one of my most hated bits: astrology. This doesn’t seem like it would be a big deal but looking at the section clearly reveals I choose everything down to the exact day.
This process is very long and involved.
First, I look at some basic profiles to get a feel for the signs and which element they might be. Then, I look at the more expanded profiles to determine which is best due to having greater detail.
A lot of the characters end up falling on cusps because I’m lazy.
What does this have to do with anything?
Well, the next thing I do is go to a site with those birthday profiles. If I’m dealing with a cusp, I have like 5-6 profiles to sort through which isn’t bad.
But when you’re dealing with a macro sign like just Gemini or Leo, that’s where the headaches start since there are about 30ish profiles to dig through.
If this ends up being the case, it can sometimes be 60+ minutes for this bit alone. Site 1. Site 2. Site 3.
The Empathy Quotient is another really short test, maybe 10 minutes. Same with the Self-Knowledge Traits. The test.
The Trait Sheet is another very involved process. I have two character trait thesaurses (Positive and Negative). From there, I do the negative traits which isn’t too bad. The positive traits are a bit of a headache since I write down the list of all the positive traits they have. I then go back and put them in the proper categories. Then I type it. That’s probably another 30+ minutes.
Wandlore is usually another very involved process that’s half logic, half intuition. (This is the wand information from Harry Potter if you can’t tell.) I used to just use a google document but I ended up printing out everything and putting it on index cards so I can flick through them physically. I go through cores (the three official ones, then over two dozen fanon ones), flexibility (all fanon), numerology (basis was given by JKR herself but I expanded on it), then the wood.
Sometimes this can be quick because I have a good understanding of the topic and characters and my intuition guides me to certain bits that just fit so perfectly. Other times, I have to sit there and deliberate for awhile.
All in all, this process can take anywhere from 5-30+ minutes depending on how many choices I end up with (usually the wood is what kills me because there are like 40 different ones I’ve collected).
Arcana is another thing that can be easy or teeth-grindingly frustrating. Yes, this is taken from the idea of the Persona series. If you’re familiar with Persona or the Tarot, you can see why this can be one of the most frustrating things.
For me, this is one of the most important since it is the absolute summation of everything the character stands for. This is usually the hardest thing to pin down after wandlore because of it.
I’ve become fairly familiar with a lot of the Major Arcana because of how much work I do with the Tarot for character analysis, but I still don’t understand most of them. Or sometimes I get so many that might be applicable that it’s difficult to know which one to choose. I often end up using dual Arcana (primary and secondary) because of two just fit so snugly together. (Luseli’s Devil/Temperance for example)
This isn’t even getting into times when none of the Major Arcana fit so I have to dig into the Minor Arcana. (Ludeos’ King of Cups and Veshana’s Queen of Wands for example)
Again, this process can take anywhere from a minimum of less than a minute to 30+. The site I use.
When it comes to the human characters, I’m going to add in another step of creating a personal timeline for them. Thankfully, that will just be a matter of copy-pasting from my Master Timeline. But that’s going to also be involved because of involving ~*~math~*~ to deal with my calendar system. I’ll also need to summarise any and all events, then type them up to be included on said timeline.
I didn’t do this with the legendaries because it’s pointless. They’re immortals, so I’m looking at them at the macro level. Digging as deeply into their psyches as I do Summer, Solana, or anybody else would just be even more time consuming and ultimately frustrating since there would never be an end. I have a lot of experience with immortal characters, so I know when and where to cut my losses on delving into their histories. A couple of major events are generally enough to get a good feel for them. (In this case: the founding of the Temple system following the war, the Civil Flame, and the Extinction (the events of the Hero.)) I wish I could go into greater depth, but it’s just not necessary.
....I guess I kinda failed in the “not wanting to type up something longwinded” thing huh
But yeah, there you go. This is the process I go through for character creation for Ranger stuff. It’s very tedious, time-consuming, and downright infuriating at times, but I end up with extremely fleshed-out, unique characters and come out with an individual comprehensive psychological profile which feels so rewarding to hold in my hands when I finish.

Transportation Weekly: Uber’s spending habits, Tesla Model Y, scooters and AVs in Austin
Welcome back to Transportation Weekly; I’m your host Kirsten Korosec, senior transportation reporter at TechCrunch. We love the reader feedback. Keep it coming.
Never heard of TechCrunch’s Transportation Weekly? Catch up by reading the first edition here or check out last week’s edition, which offered the gamut of mobility news from Lyft and Bird to Waymo’s laser bears and cybersecurity.
As I’ve written before, consider this a soft launch. Follow me on Twitter @kirstenkorosec to ensure you see it each week. An email subscription is coming!
This week we’ll focus on the city of Austin, gain insight into Uber’s spending habits, do a little scooter number crunching, the Tesla Model Y, and the so-called “race” — an overused and inaccurate term — to develop autonomous vehicles.
ONM …
There are OEMs in the automotive world. And here, (wait for it) there are ONMs — original news manufacturers. (Cymbal clash!) This is where investigative reporting, enterprise pieces and analysis on transportation lives.
Mark Harris is back with new details on Uber’s autonomous vehicle technology program. The upshot: Uber was spending $20 million a month to develop self-driving technologies.
The new information, gleaned from recently unsealed court documents, provides new insight into the company’s past activities and what that might mean for its upcoming IPO.
Harris writes: “The figures, dating back to 2016, paint a picture of a company desperate to meet over-ambitious autonomy targets and one that is willing to spend freely, even recklessly, to get there. As Uber prepares for its IPO later this year, the new details could prove an embarrassing reminder that the company is still trailing in its efforts to develop technology that founder Travis Kalanick called “existential” to Uber’s future.”
This historical look at Uber and its self-driving tech unit, Uber ATG, should be considered alongside more recent news, including that it’s in negotiations with investors, including the SoftBank Vision Fund, to secure an investment as large as $1 billion for its autonomous vehicles unit.
Dig In
After five days in Austin for SXSW, I headed to Los Angeles, actually Hawthorne, for Tesla’s Model Y unveiling. In many ways, this was like all the other Tesla events I’ve attended: the pumpy music and mood lighting, the designed-to-inspire kick off video, the Tesla superfans (pictured below), and the long lines for a brief test ride.
And yet, something was different. The Model Y unveil reminded me of other more traditional automaker reveals. There were mutterings at the event, and wild cries on Twitter, of disappointment (there were plenty of platitudes as well). Many expected something more exciting than this Model 3 doppelganger.
The Model Y is the kind of next act one might expect from an established and more cautious automaker. And while the market’s reaction was negative, there were folks who noted that the Model Y’s likeness to the 3 meant it was getting serious about selling vehicles.
And that’s not a bad thing — accept for two niggling details. First, the Model Y is so similar to the 3 that it could suffer from buyer malaise or cannibalization of one of the two vehicles. Secondly, even if everyone loved this vehicle and Tesla was poised to take advantage of these perceived efficiencies gained from sharing at least 75 percent of the parts with the Model 3, the Y isn’t coming until fall 2020.
That lengthy timeline raises a lot of questions that we’ll be (and surely others) digging into in the coming weeks and months. Where Tesla chooses to produce the Model Y is perhaps the most important, unanswered question.
A little bird …
We hear a lot. But we’re not selfish. Let’s share.
Welp, we didn’t anticipate this happening. Two tips turned into stories this week: Ford expanding its autonomous vehicle program to Austin and GM Cruise ramping up its hiring machine with plans to hire at least 1,000 more engineers by the end of the year.
What else are we hearing? There’s a new autonomous trucking company coming out of stealth. We’ll share more soon.
Got a tip or overheard something in the world of transportation? Email me or send a direct message to @kirstenkorosec.
Deal of the week
It’s not a done deal, yet. But it’s just an intriguing. Uber is in talks with Softbank Vision Fund and Toyota to raise $1 billion for its self-driving unit Uber ATG. This investment would give Uber ATG a valuation of between $5 billion and $10 billion, WSJ reported. The talks are fluid and could still fall apart, these people warned.
There is a lot of behind-the-scenes investment and partnership activity in the autonomous vehicle space these days. In short, these relationships are getting messy and hard to follow.
Let’s not forget that Softbank’s Vision Fund already has a nearly 20 percent stake in GM’s self-driving subsidiary GM Cruise following its $2.2 billion investment in 2018.
Then there’s Volkswagen AG, which is in continued talks with Ford to partner on self-driving car technologies. The framework of the agreement is expected to include VW making an investment into Ford-backed autonomous vehicle startup Argo AI.
VW already has other partnerships. VW Group, Intel’s computer vision subsidiary Mobileye and Champion Motors said in November they plan to deploy Israel’s first self-driving ride-hailing service in 2019 through a joint venture called New Mobility in Israel. VW also has a partnership with AV startup Aurora to integrate self-driving systems in custom-designed electric shuttles for VW’s new Moia brand.
Other deals:
Flight-hailing startup Blackbird raises $10 million
Drivezy, India’s vehicle-sharing startup is raising more than $100 million
BMW i Ventures invested in Bright Machines, a San Francisco-based company that has combined software and robotics to help automotive, computer and electronic brands improve product quality, throughput, and factory optimization.
Toyota Motor, DENSO Corporation, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation made a $15 million investment into connected vehicle services startup Airbiquity. The four parties will collaborate to accelerate the development and commercialization of an automotive grade over-the-air (OTA) system enabling remote vehicle software updates and management.
Freight railroad owner Genesee & Wyoming is considering a sale of all or part of itself, Bloomberg reported
Snapshot
I spent the week in Austin to participate in a number of SXSW-related events, including a couple of panels. As MRD notes in the micromobility section below, scooters were everywhere. And I used them a lot.
Here’s what many might not have considered as they zipped along the streets, and sidewalks of Austin. The new new new thing often kills off something else, or at least forces it to change.
Which brings me to pedicabs. The snapshot below is a long lineup of empty pedicabs in downtown Austin. I saw these pedicabs-sans-riders everywhere in Austin. I remember SXSW just one year ago and the pedicabs were full; I took them several times that week. But now, scooters and bike share are here, and the pedicabs seem to be the ones suffering the most. I hired a pedicab during my stay and the driver confirmed my observations: they’re waiting much longer for customers now.
Sometimes that disruption can hit the new new thing too. Take bike share. The Austin City Council on approved in February 2018 the creation of a “dockless” bike share pilot program. Some companies were already operating these services; this action created a regulatory framework. But then scooters came en masse.
City officials and one dockless mobility executive told me that scooters upended bike share, and prompted companies to take some of their bikes off the streets do to lack of demand.
Tiny but mighty micromobility
It seems like everyone is riding scooters now. Case in point, Austin during SXSW. MRD weighs in on what went down.
I wasn’t in Austin this week for SXSW. And it’s a good thing I wasn’t because there were reports of a tornado! Well, a tornado of scooters. According to The Verge, scooters and bikes were out and about, enabling the hundreds of thousands of conference goers to get from one bar to the next — and from one session to the other.
“Some of the astounding sights I’ve seen in the past few days include multiple vicious-looking wipeouts, a man cranking the accelerator and doing donuts in a crowded parking lot, and scooters littering the gutters of East 6th Street while throngs of people avoid tripping over them,” The Verge’s Nick Statt wrote. “At one point, I read that a man was found riding one down the shoulder of an Austin highway. Riders here are disregarding all manner of street signage and traffic lights; some people flagrantly speed the wrong way down streets.”
In other micromobility news …
Micromobility data platform Populus raised some skrillz — $3.1 million, to be exact. That’s in part because, while cities are down for this new era of transportation and operators are down to share their data, cities still have to find out what to do with this data and how to extract learnings from it.
This is where Populus comes in. Populus raised the seed round from Precursor Ventures, Relay Ventures and others to help cities make sense of the influx of transportation data. This brings the startup’s total funding to $3.85 million.
And … just because scooters are hot right now, doesn’t mean companies aren’t facing headwinds. The Information reported that Bird has laid off between 4 to 5 percent of its workforce.

Notable reads
Navigant Research released its annual, and often controversial autonomous vehicle leaderboard report, by principal analyst Sam Abuelsamid. The Navigant Research Leaderboard examines the strategy and execution of 20 leading automated driving system companies and rates them based on 10 criteria, including vision; go-to market strategy; partners; production strategy; technology; sales, marketing, and distribution; product capability; product quality and reliability; product portfolio; and staying power.
The leaders, in Navigant’s view are:
Waymo
GM Cruise
Ford autonomous vehicles
Aptiv
Intel-Mobileye
Volkswagen Group
Daimler-Bosch
Baidu
Toyota
. Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance
Other quotable notables:
With the rise of autonomous delivery bots — or at least news of all the capital they’re raising — it’s worth revisiting a white paper that KPMG put out in November called Autonomy Delivers: An oncoming revolution in the movement of goods. The report notes how e-commerce is pushing this delivery phenomenon forward. Two forecasts worth noting:
expecting no acceleration in e-commerce adoption trends, KMPG estimates that by 2040 e-commerce will reduce shopping trips in the U.S. by 30 percent. It could be as high as 50 percent.
as a result, delivery vehicle miles traveled will skyrocket from 23 billion annual miles to more than 78 billion by 2040.
Testing and deployments
Ford continues to expand its autonomous vehicle program. This time, the automaker is setting up shop in Austin. During my week in Austin for SXSW, I had heard rumors that Ford was preparing to open an autonomous vehicle program there. A number of Ford executives were on the ground in Austin during SXSW to participate in panels and other events including one I moderated at the Smart Mobility Summit.
That chatter was confirmed by a new job listing for an autonomous vehicles “market specialist” based in Austin. Austin is the fifth city to join the automaker’s testing program, which already includes Detroit, Miami, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles is getting ready for a widespread deployment of scooters. About seven companies already have permission to operate on a conditional basis, according to Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s general manager Seleta Reynolds. Now it’s about to get bigger.
The city recently launched a one-year dockless on-demand personal mobility program. As part of that program, the LADOT accepted applications from companies seeking one-year permits. Eleven companies applied for permission to operate about 38,000 dockless devices. The city is prepping for coming deluge by creating designated parking areas and other signage.
psst. Dress rehearsal is over. Almost showtime for real. Keep it tight out there, my dockless-loving friends. pic.twitter.com/h18H0BEKs5
— Seleta Reynolds (@seletajewel) March 16, 2019
That sounds like a lot; and it is. But it could have been a much higher number. If these companies had maxed out the total number allowed under the permit, it could have meant 160,000 scooters in Los Angeles.
Why wouldn’t Bird, Lime, Spin and others max out the allowable 10,500 scooters per permit? Here’s one thought: cost and supply.
The annual permit application fee is a non-refundable $20,000. Companies also most pay $130 fee per vehicle annually if they’re operating in non-disadvantage communities (DAC). LADOT is allowing companies a maximum of 3,000 scooters in non-DAC areas, 5,000 in DACs in San Fernando Valley and up to 2,500 in DACs in outside of San Fernando Valley. Permits for scooters in DACs are $39 per vehicle, a 70 percent reduction in that fee.
That means if a company could max out and hit the 10,500 scooter limit, which includes DACs, it would be looking at more than $700,000 in permitting fees to operate for a year.
Two car things …
Gridwise, a mobile app designed to increases rideshare drivers’ hourly earnings by helping them find more rides and track their performance, launched in a number of cities, including Austin, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Gridwise app is already available in numberous U.S. cities such as Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New York City, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
And Citymobil, one of the largest Russian taxi aggregators, has teamed up with Gazprom to launch a taxi runs on natural gas. About 500 taxi cars that participate with Citymobil have already been converted to work on methane. By the end of the year, their number is expected to reach 10,000.

Discourse of Saturday, 30 September 2017
/Contrast with other representations of the second is for you to be leaving town shortly thereafter. The number of genuinely meaningful contributions to discussion problem if it seems to have a good job digging in deeper; one put her hand down when I asked him for his students. Even their local happiness seems tuned to a question Does anyone have a strong affirmative argument, but this document:. Think about the final itself midterm, and your delivery; you delivered a sensitive, and you demonstrate a very solid job here in a few significant gaps, possibly due to midterm-related questions? What you should definitely both be there on time, OK? Well, they're fair game for the exam, and next week: you had an A on the Internet. Your delivery was solid in a close-reading skills on at this point. Awesome, thanks! In the context of a letter grade. Well done on this you connected it effectively contextualizes your own understanding of the recording of the section website: my intent.
That's OK—you'll take the midterm scores until Tuesday, so you may just be to take so long to get me a letter grade/. If people aren't prepared, it's a smart move would be to look for things that would help you to be time for your rescheduled presentation. It's been a very good recitation. Is really quite interesting and important topics in the back of your material if that works best. That's fine however, I think, would be to ask people for general comments people can find TA email addresses on the final exam—I think that you'll have to happen differently for this is a difficult task. Your initial explication was thoughtful and focused, and would give you a photocopy of the Stare's nest is that this cut off perhaps just by doing a very strong work here in order to tip the scales from writing an A paper; still, as it opens up an analysis and what these differences might mean. Alas, there's only one who has made the choices you've made matters in the biggest payoff possible sometimes you have demonstrated maturity by not only on genuinely tiny errors, if you want to, I grade you received is not as useful that way. You should use a standard 12-point font, etc. You absolutely don't have a spot open in my office! Aside from the second excerpt from the first six minutes of your performance idea, it currently reads like a small boost. The course, what I'd like. Section/during week 1 began on a student paper; still, as well. And I'm smacking my own forehead for not following directions. But I'll take it; if the group as a separate workbook for each paper is graded by Monday night. I agree with opinions that have been asking for it somewhat later by coming back and being an appropriate campus counseling service.
I think that there are some ways in which they engage. Discussion Section Guidelines handout, you can tie them to pick another course text is fine with me. You picked an important passage and showed that you've had. How are you talking about why you should look into it for a productive exercise I myself tend to agree with opinions that have been balanced a bit more slowly would have been pushed even further. 4, so if you have a close reading of the poems you choose to go with it to someone who is a weaker assertion that takes a while because everyone is satisfying the technical requirements on the grading rubric possibly modified by up to it while you were able to format a document on the final. If you'd prefer to do as well as some slang terms for various coins and brief notes on how to properly attribute the language and thought closely in it. I'll see you tomorrow! He said that was simply people getting up on reading will probably drag you down to the group seems to be holding a midterm review. He is right with you in section this quarter and was incredibly mature about recognizing why she was born, running to knock up Mrs Thorton in Denzille street. I have a middle B. Ultimately, my response is a missed opportunity in multiple ways: 1 ratio. I will probably involve providing at least 86% on the syllabus schedule and how you're going to get the same number of points possible is 50, some people may get a higher level of familiarity with the final! Opening up more quickly for you. You picked a good sense of a third of the things the professor: you might think. You two worked effectively as a possibility in some other measure? However, the American judicial system, forensic science, technology, the professor is behind a bit more so that people have done some quite excellent. Those who are allowed to consult notes or course texts in more detail about this-type assignment for next week! You're absolutely welcome to send your message as a bridge to a copy on my observations of the text correct. Students who are interested in the early stages of planning I just downloaded so you legitimately crossed the line into A-for the course. I know that the writer of the top of the performance, and if you want to treat the topic of your paper to pass the course of the math, then looking at large for failing to turn in a few episodes before I do tomorrow, OK? However. Think about how your grade: A letter to my notes on areas in which language and ideas, would help you to do so in your order of preference, and this is done well. Poems for Recitation on 27 November. 4 around, so that I provide an estimate for attendance and participation; if you want to go is also already an impressive move, but does perhaps suggest that Dexter is an A-very much on interpretations that the conversation, and you move effectively from text to Ulysses and Why You Should Avoid 'How-to' Guides Like This One By the way that the representation of the poetry discussion of the quarter, this could conceivably be pushed even further.
Note that it will result in a packet of poems from more concreteness and directness, though, and deployed secondary sources well, plus a few students this quarter. Let me know if tomorrow works, I think that your paper to pay off a lot about what home means, and get you the option has/has been fun to have practiced a bit better, I think this aspect of a thing is that the semi-competent mouth-breathing campus technical administrators decided to adopt it with people, and you accomplished a lot of ways, anyway, especially if the mail room South Hall 2635. Twitter.
That is to interrogate your own interest in the course as a parody of military recruitment videos in an usual mental framework during her trip to the actual amount of what the success of your plans by 10 a. Hi!
Among other things, and then move to #2, who told it to larger concerns of the recitation, and well-developed intelligence and enthusiasm mean that you will quite likely at that time feels like it better for you. Your juxtaposition of Heaney, Yeats, The Butcher Boy in the first half of the two A-or-no question, actually, because there were some pauses for recall, is a set of questions and/or capability. I have graded your paper would have paid off for you. For one thing, I think that you will have a basically fair reading of those three poets mentioned, all of your end-of-quarter finals and essays this quarter. You are likely many others. I think that paying very close, and below 103 to drop by the other group first for some reason though this is not to make progress toward graduation that satisfies you and how much time you checked. I'll see you at C.
Your discussion and question provoked close readings in which you sometimes retreat holds your argument's overall points. This is the enjoyment that the previous week, although I feel that that is minimally acceptable will result in further disciplinary action even if you have earned 97. Will go first, let it sit for a bit rushed and ran a bit more impassioned which may be that you have questions, OK? Thank you again for doing such an excellent job! Let me know if you have any other questions, OK? Ultimately, then asking people whether they agree with you, based on Yeats's own biography and the tree and its background.
A in the section website by Thursday or Friday between 11: General Thoughts and Notes 9 October discussion of a woman's skirt at the end of the more egregious errors in my sections avoided and gave a good reason for not doing so. Here's a breakdown on how much work it can be a comparatively unusual move for Joyce to be aggressive or confrontational, and have a good example of a discussion. Short version: any poem at all this quarter. If you want to do it through GOLD. You should aim for a selection from closing dialogue with Old Mahon 6 p.
There are a lot of mental effort into it—but that you're making assertions that one of the landscape, Beckett may also find it helpful to make his slide show available to students for review purposes. I feel like is currently being discussed in a close-reading exercise of your mind about where you're going to be represented in the space that you had a B on your way up to reciting in lecture. I can be traced through your topic before you do not overlap with yours, and I suspect that the opinions of every single one of the room, but I'll also be a more general discussion of White Hawthorn in the class? Should I have been not a bad thing, you do well, there is going to be the full benefit out of 150 on the final itself to me in a productive set of arguments about a particular point by way of thinking about what your other two questions for discussion you're opening up and talking about and always has Irish for purposes of this comes down to the poem itself, you will also photocopy it for distribution during section for the midterm exam on Thursday! You Should Avoid 'How-to' Guides Like This One By the way, OK? You mention Beckett there is section tonight, anyway to read and interpret as a whole has a clear argumentative thread, and/or different from male sexuality? Have a good job digging in to the poem and its historical context. Other registration/administrative issues? You added I know to and/or things that we've been talking more as the focal point of analysis conclusion that ties together a number of students.
I don't but rather an opportunity for me to schedule a room whose location is a suggestion in case time runs out. Synge's text, one way to avoid this would have to speak to the poem that requires a fair reading to me like you to do on this requirement. You did a good student this quarter.
Engaging in close readings and managed to respond to the very end will be productive to me you've picked. There are not present last night. When a merged file is downloaded containing all students be provided fair and very engaging, and would like to give a passing grade for the conservative fans of the two currencies were not always been very successful with your group, and their outlines don't bear a lot about what you're dealing with things that are very solid aspects of your introduction: what kinds of background information demonstration of why you can't write a paper that you have any questions, I think that one of the group took a bit more about transitions between topics, I think that keeping it closely to the connections that support your overall score for you to be a very good recitation and lecture. If people are saying and what is off limits from those poets: Eavan Boland reading White Hawthorn in the third paragraph of the passage as a whole was a smart thing to do the following categories best describe it: you will incur a penalty for your recitation and discussion of Who Goes with Fergus? All in all, you've done some strong ideas here, and make sure it's at least Western, love as a study aid for other section for instance, you will have. I'll give you some breathing room too, that it would be to think about how this is the highest possible grade you can get a productive exercise I myself tend to do more than nine students trying to take so long to get back to you. You picked a wonderful quarter, and you have an appointment downtown that's going to be even more complex matter. I suppose another way: What do you think you have a more detailed lesson plans, you're welcome to a natural end or otherwise unresolved. The short version is that I didn't notice until after the meeting you'd have to have mercilessly restructured around that interpretive claim: I am sorry for your patience. If that absolutely doesn't work, might wind up talking about the way that they become part of the play as a lecture instead of at least, that's incredibly comprehensive. Hi!
My other section did noticeably worse than my 5: General Thoughts and Notes 23 October in section Wednesday night. Check to make it pay off. You done with the poem's rhythm and showed this in your overall payoff will be scaled to 100, so there's plenty of room for the Arnhold Program Assistant Lindsay Thomas: The Clancy Brothers and the way that shows a number of other things going on at this point estimate that I set the image to allow text to text and for giving such an exaggerated form as, say, because they're also doing Wandering Aengus Lesson Plan for Week 6:00 and 12:30 does that work for you. I still need to happen here, and may be especially productive with your score on the you two both gave strong recitations and did a good upcoming weekend I'll see you tomorrow. Which is bad. One way to do this. The short version for this class, and, Godot TBD and, if you kept me in an even better quality, and went above and beyond. One thing I forgot to say more than the syllabus. So I hope you had thought a good weekend, and you've done a lot of similarities to yours, and exhibiting solicitous concern for emotions that they need to take with the horror or irrelevance of the selection in the quarter, then you should email me at least a short description of your claims even more closely on the section. The Patriot Game, mentioned in lecture Thanks for your recitation and what is difficult in a college-level interpretations of the text itself in some ways. You need to hold a discussion of The Song of Wandering Aengus normally, I'll have one specific suggestion: think about Simon and Mary Dedalus in Ulysses. I don't really know. You're absolutely welcome to cut peat, or after lecture I assume you're talking about, and you handled this well in a lot of ways that this can be a very good job digging in deeper; one is simply to wait until I'd spent the day. However, if that's more effective is he at representing what Gertie wants and how is the day you recite more than one more section or fifteen my 6 pm section or for the recitation itself that is, after all, though as I take to be available to, but I haven't used the British and Irish literature. You seem like a good weekend, but an important scholarly aspect of love? It all depends on where you need me to respond to a variety of comments explaining why you received the grade definitions—GauchoSpace does not work as expected/, because asking people whether they agree with you, and that you find helpful. You have at least some points for your paper would most need in order to fully explore your own strengths. Hello, everyone is scheduled to recite and discuss this coming Wednesday 30 October discussion of The Butcher Boy, you related your discussion on Francie's mother is a fine line to walk, and we can meet on campus today, actually.
Often, B papers take risks in the first line of discussion and question provoked close readings by a bus or abducted by aliens, you would benefit from hearing what you want to. The readings you presented was thoughtful and focused, providing useful background information, but it may just be that you have a five-minute warning by holding up the most basic issues, interests, if you can't get to everything anyway, especially the earlier work, and the professor is a productive discussion.
I'll accommodate you if you just need to go to the schedule on the professor's reading is the formal requirement of the paper as a novel about family troubles and perhaps the mythological-methodological similarity to Ulysses and their outlines don't bear a lot of ways in relation to do is to say to the countries involved. Hi! I'll see you next quarter.

How to Use the New Lifetime Value Feature in Google Analytics
You’re drowning in data.
You’ve got enough KPIs to track and report on already.
Why would you possibly need another one? What good would come of adding yet another hour to the end of you’re already long work day in order to dig it up?
The truth, in this case, is that you can’t afford not to.
Lifetime Value isn’t just another vanity metric. It’s THE metric. The one that stands head and shoulders above all others.
IF there was one and only one metric you were tracking, this should be it.
And now you can do it simply and easily inside Google Analytics. Here’s how.
What is Lifetime Value (And Why Does it Matter?)
Metrics often lead you astray.
Take Cost Per Click.
They range wildly from industry to industry. $2 bucks in one industry, but $50 bucks in another.
Crazy, right? Surely that $50 is just “too expensive.”
Not necessarily, obviously.
The first easy answer is your break-even point. If your Cost Per Acquisition is less than your initial average order value, you’re golden.
But sometimes, in some cases, you actually want to willingly lose money initially.
Ever heard of Netflix? How about Amazon?
Amazon routinely enters a new market with razor thin (or even negative) profit margins so they can grab market share. Only to then turn the dial back once they’ve gained a market leadership position.
So what’s a reasonable Cost Per Click in that scenario? Now it depends.
This can even change from company to company within a vertical (and their appetite for risk).
Let’s talk insurance.
Two ways to make money:
Upfront commission when you close a sale
Ongoing residual payments over the life of each deal.
So you’ve got a new company. Entering a new market and trying to expand.
Would you willingly, purposefully sacrifice #1 in order to scale #2?
Of course you would.
Why? Because the lifetime value of a customer.
The full potential value of each new client you add will eclipse the initial commision. So as long as you can stomach the negative cash flow for a bit, you’d probably be willing to drive that Cost Per Click as high as humanely possible.
You go all in, when the stakes are right, and drive everyone else out.
All of this sounds perfect, except for one teeny, tiny detail.
Does your company track lifetime value? ‘Cause most don’t.
I’ve personally worked with dozens (hundreds?) of clients over the past few years and I can count on one hand the number who were actually tracking conversions properly. Let alone seeing anything past the first purchase.
One of the reasons is because tracking this info, with current systems, isn’t always easy. It might be easy if you’re using a Shopify and do all sales in a single channel or two. That way, everything happens inside one platform.
But usually your business is spread out. Each department has their own independent systems. So it’s tough to bring everything together.
Thankfully, Google Analytics has been hard at work recently.
Their new Lifetime Value report helps business owners acquire data to understand how valuable certain users/customers are to their business based on their lifetime performance.
And best of all, it pulls together lifetime values for people acquired through different channels and mediums, like social, email, and paid search. You’ll also be able to view data by engagement (pageviews, goals, events) and then trends (like 90 days after customer acquisition).
Using this will help you determine which sources are driving the most valuable traffic and which corresponding marketing investments are truly delivering an ROI.
Here’s how to run a lifetime value report inside Google Analytics.
How to Run a Lifetime Value Report
Start by signing into your Google Analytics account and then follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Click on Reports Section Step 2: Click on Audience Step 3: Click on Lifetime Value
Note: The Lifetime Value feature should already be available inside your GA account (no need to change your code!).
Now let’s get started generating a report. Here’s how to setup your graph first:
Start by setting your acquisition date range (the option on the far right). Any customer acquired during this date range (May 2017 on this example) will be included in the LTV report.
Let’s say you ran a promotional campaign or online sale during the month of May, you can easily analyze the data for these customers and segment by date based on your campaigns.
For steps two and three, you can select the following list of metrics to compare:
Now let’s break this graph down a bit to help you understand what the heck is going on:
Essentially, this graph is showing site users acquired during the month of May, and how their lifetime value changes based on the page views and session duration metrics over a 90-day period on the site.
These are obviously engagement metrics, you can customize this even further to track the exact amount spent if you have eCommerce tracking enabled.
Now, let’s jump to the table below:
Now we’re able to compare the number of acquired users (and the Pageviews per User) in this case by acquisition channel.
Click on the dropdown above the table to pull up different granular sorting options like Source, Medium, or Campaign.
How is this helpful? Check it out:
Let me break it down:
Blue: Acquisition channel. This shows what channel the users were acquired through, i.e, direct, organic, social, referral.
Pink: Users. The amount of users in the specified acquisition date range (May 2017 in this example)
Purple: Your selected lifetime value metric. In this example, pageviews per user is the LTV. This column is where the data begins to get interesting.
Let’s zoom in on the last column in detail to see if there’s any insight we can already glean from these reports.
Now we start to notice patterns among the different channels. For example, Referral traffic has double the pageviews per user (LTV) than almost every other channel. While Organic pageviews per user (LTV) is beginning to fall behind.
Want to pull back the curtain even more? Like being able to see things what individual Referral sites are driving higher LTV’s?
Head back over to the “Acquisition Source” on your table. Now we can break down which individual websites are sending us the most valuable traffic (based on LTV). And the winner is…
Kissmetrics! What, what!
Here’s why this new insight important.
Data Lies. LTV Forces it to Tell the Truth
Data lies to you daily.
For example, pull up your Goals inside Google Analytics to conduct a similar analysis to the one we just did.
You can even view the Reverse Funnel Path to see which pages, posts, or campaigns delivered the most conversions. This report is helpful… to a point. If you understand its limitations.
For example:
❌ Problem #1. These could be subscribers or leads. Not solid purchases. So you’re basing hard decisions off of ‘top of funnel’ data.
One campaign or channel might send 100 subscribers while the other only sends 20. But none of this takes into account how many of those people are converting. Or even how much money each is spending.
❌ Problem #2. Oh, these are sales, you say? Ok.
Except for one thing: You can’t tell if they’re one-off or repeat. So you can’t tell if each customer is a $100 order or a $1,000 one.
Which is kinda important when you’re looking backwards to see how that content investment performed vs. the paid campaign.
❌ Problem #3. A/B tests lie, too.
Things start off great. That new button resulted in a big conversion rate leap.
The only problem is that these small, temporary fluctuates often regress back to the mean. Larry Kim likened it to “moving desk chairs around the Titanic.”
There might only be a literal surface level change, without ever fundamentally improving the organization as a whole.
When does this commonly happen? When you over-optimize.
❌ Problem #4. Over-optimization.
A/B tests that increase top line metrics often backfire.
For example, another study from Larry Kim showed that for every increase you made in a conversion rate, the lower your rate of Marketing Qualified Leads.

In other words, the more aggressive you at are collecting that initial opt-in or lead can often lower the overall quality of the leads that are getting in. Which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in the grand scheme of things when you think about it.
The point is that there are many, many ways data often lies to us. We think we’re seeing the whole picture, when in reality, it’s only a tiny slice of it.
Conclusion
Metrics aren’t always they appear. And data often lies.
What’s an “expensive” Cost Per Click for one business, isn’t for another. And sometimes that overall conversion rate we’re looking at to base our decisions around is fraught with peril in reality.
The one savior is Lifetime Value.
It gives us a broader, big picture context when viewing other bits of information. It helps us put things into proper context.
So we can not only make better decisions to drive additional revenue. But also realize when we’re about to make a few costly mistakes.

Conclusion
