Thinking about this thang from the Intuit outsider art museum in Chicago. I wish I remembered to take a pic of the plaque bc I don’t remember the artists name and I can’t find this sculpture on the museum site :(

#I didn’t know abt the meaning behind it but I get it yeag #idk it kind of feels like when you have a dream about a sick pet #outsider art #they have a display there that’s just Henry Dargers room it rules #jus a little basement room of his stuff laid out like he would’ve had it #also they have displays of children’s art from art programs they’ve done #and it’s rly rly delightful they are displayed like any other artwork there and given the same legitimacy #since by their nature they’re outsider art too
