feels weird seeing every post about stay-at-home partners being about tradwife girlfriends, as a stay at home faggot whose partner works

#i do the cooking and i do the cleaning and i make lunch for my partner when he gets home from work #i do the laundry and i put the shopping list together #i meal prep and cook veggies #to make sure he has a vegetable to take with him to work #and its so so #fucking weird #doing that as Not A Woman #because nobody talks about stay at home partners unless they're talking about house husbands rarely #which i am not #not a husband #or tradwife gfs #in which case the advice is 'girl go get a job dont rely on him'#there's no discussion of the fact that some of us are incapable of living on our own #for whatever reasons #and will ALWAYS be relying on a partner to do the out of the house work #and bring in the paycheck

#makeaterriblecomicday2025 #my art #comic #comics #cat comic #it is indeed a terrible comic #but I recently adopted these two after fostering 4 cats and missing having cats of my own #I love them both very much #They're still adjusting to the house and finding who their person is #especially Lucida Sans #But that's ok i know she had a tough start #She and Tammy came to the shelter pregnant #And from Lucida's body it seems like she had been pregnant many times #but now she doesn't have to be a mommy cat anymore #she just learned how to play and have fun!#it took her 2 weeks to learn how to play by watching Tammy play #Meanwhile Tammy has a kitten mindset #she still suckles on Lucida #the only time Tammy purrs is when she's suckling #that is #until she started recently purring when I pet her and carry her around #She is so sweet and funny #but she also jumps on my railing that overlooks the basement stairs down and its a steep fall #and I don't know how to stop her and I live in fear one day she'll slip and fall down

somewhere out there right now is a kid with curly hair being raised by people who have wavy hair at best and those people are giving them 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and telling them to dry brush it. and that kid is gonna spend all of middle school and high school hating their hair and moping over the flat iron. they're being told right now that if they don't dry-brush their curl pattern into oblivion every morning it means they're unkempt and gross even though they naturally have the kind of ringlets that a thousand bridezillas would commit horrible murders for every june. it's happening right now it's an absolute epidemic and a tragedy every time
