people who have to turn off their brains to read/watch something bad are weak. embrace the flaws. tear them to shreds. yell about the weak writing, gaping plotholes, and plain weird/insane shit that really doesn't work. it's so much more fun that way

#thinking about my experience with fourth wing specifically #that book is a dumpster fire that is SO much fun to read #(and leaves me with negative desire to read any sequels but still)#and also veilguard. there's sooo much in that game that kinda sucks! that I wish was done way differently #and it's fun to yell about while also still. y'know. enjoying the game #idk. you can be critical and still enjoy a thing. if you feel you have to ~turn your brain off~ consider either #just. not doing that. go ahead and think critically about a piece of trash writing #and learn that you can in fact like garbage without needing to qualify or justify it #this has been a post
