winter motley design. fun fact: jester caps having animal ears (although not this exact kind) was a real thing, hence wolf winter fool design.

cute extra commentary that's assassin's quest spoilers:

the tail on the back of his cap is supposed to look like his braid when they're in the mountains ^^

royal assassin era fool, so hes like 14-15 maturity wise here. i imagine he designed his motley with hasty. i think the fool and hasty having some sort of fond relationship is a very cute hc. baby baby fashion minded fool getting really excited abt making his motley look cool and hasty humoring him. (and excited to have at least one boy excited to get clothes made.)

i need to design his summer motley as well, which would be a far leaner and more typical jester clothes. the winter motley is far bulkier bc hes from somewhere warm. (this also means he's wearing mittens, which would be the first time we see him in gloves.) as someone from the tropics myself i dressed him exactly as warm as id want to be in a six duchies winter.
