it's funny because the choice at the end of emmrich's quest is probably the only one i find memorable AND not overly irritating. but it's also the one i think about fixing the most like something about it as a video game choice just feels so wrong. i don't think reviving manfred should have been a part of it at all and if it HAD to be they should have made it so becoming a lich is what saves him.

#emmrich overcoming his thanatophobia and accepting his mortality isnt rewarding at all because like. he still cheated death #just not for himself lmao. and to grow as a person he didnt really sacrifice anything.#i just dont think people analyse it because it'd not egregiously bad like taash/bellara/harding #and ngl neve and davrin's choices are literally nothing. neve's is practically semantics while davrin's is about those #fucking griffins againnnnnnn. i don't care where they go this is dav theyll be happy and cute wherever they are #and idr what lucanis' choice is but you dont get to participate if you save minrathous so idc
