What is Underrune?

Underrune is a sprite comic au that follows the premise of Deltarune characters living in the Undertale world. Meaning any Undertale characters will not be present, with a Deltarune character in their place, with Chara being the exception.

What are the roles?

The main character roles are as follows:

Kris as the Fallen Human (Frisk)

Ralsei as Toriel, Flowey, and Asriel

Rouxls Kaard as Sans

Lancer as Papyrus

Susie as Undyne

Noelle as Alphys

Jevil as MTT

Spade King as Asgore

Chara as Chara

How many people are working on this?

As of writing this, there are 9 people on our team, each varying on different jobs to make this sprite comic come to life (composers, spriters, etc)

What does BAT stand for?

It stands for Behind A Tree. Early into development, we decided we wanted a team name to make us “stand out” as it were. Also the url “underrune” was taken, so. Yeah.

What will the areas be like in Underrune? Like Undertale’s? Deltarune’s? Both?

We’re aiming for each area to be like a fusion between their corresponding canon areas. The beginning and Ralsei’s castle will be mixed with the Ruins, Field of Hopes and Dreams will be mixed with Snowdin, Scarlet Forest with Waterfall, etc.

Can we make fanart?

Of course! Just be sure to ping us when you’ve posted!

What pronouns do Kris/Chara go by?

They both use they/them. Any ask sent to this blog that misgenders them will not be answered. This is non-negotiable. Additionally, Seam is agender and uses no pronouns or they/them if really needed.

ok SO.

the game had just updated today, right? new hometown update. looks absolutely fantastic. & of course i am playing on that server with my friends instead of working on commodity clash.

me & my friend grace (also known as the "weird dog") go into seams shop in the fields but instead of seam, my good friend deimos (jevil j jevil. the j stands for jevil) is there. jevil tells us to get the divorce papers from his ex, spamton. so me & the weird dog go on an awesome quest to go get the divorce papers.

in the scarlet forest we come across something unusual. a player (who had the toby fox skin on) sitting in a chair that was not there before, & there are jpegs scattered around. we ask "hey have you been recently divorced? do you have divorce papers?"

& then they spew out this:

a piece of paper with 5 rows of heart emojis.

we did not know how they did this. but these must be the divorce papers, obviously. so, because this thing is apparently a physical object, we kick this thing all the way back to jevil j jevil.

they were, in fact, the divorce papers jevil j jevil had been looking for. awesome.

we go back there, jevil in hand, to go thank them.

we were just talking to this guy now & they spewed out a paper that said "dont forget to dognate!" & me, still having 10 robux in my account, go to donate. i come back after dognating with my evidence in hand (a soda) & they give me this:

apparently this person was a dev, & this is presumably a dev-only item. we had asked a developer of the deltarune roblox rp for divorce papers. & now i had this awesome sign that played cheering noises everytime i right-clicked with it equipped. awesome.

i just had the most life-changing experience on the deltarune roblox rp game remind me to post about it tomorrow
