#personal#work was weird today#they were welcoming this guy who came back from a long break#and on the breakfast they prepared White Guy™ ends up sitting next to me#his hand is on the back of my chair so i can't sit back. his chair is pulling the side of my coat so i can't straighten up#and then my supervisor is kinda eyeing at me like she Knows but also a weird complicit look.... like does she Know?#(i know that she knows and she probably forgot about it and that's Fine)#and then the office was so empty today#they do this thing at the end too bc guy who was supposed to be celebrated came in late#and i'm holding myself back from asking 'ooooo whose birthday is it'#and then they have cake for No reason at all and i eat a piece and talk about politics and whatnot#and coworker asks me 'why have uou been so quiet' which really i haven't#but i just go 'would you guys be mad at me if i told you today was my birthday' and CHAOS ensues#god i couldn't stop fucking laughing lmao#only guy who could've remembered that (he pointed out we're both gemini) didn't come today so no one else remembered 😭#funny as shit#tomorrow's gonna be something alright
