Removed a wasp from my bedroom without bloodshed. Peace and love on planet earth
#heard it buzzing around earlier but thought it was a fly#saw it land on my windowsill and then CRAWL INTO MY WINDOW AC?#thought ''it's more afraid of you than you are of it'' even though that was a lie and it was unaware of my existence#put a little dot of water I had swirled around in an empty jam jar I hadn't rinsed yet onto a tupperware lid under the AC#and opened the window AC side panel a couple inches to create a clear exit path#watched with intent trepidation until my lure was successful and the wasp descended for a tasty treat#and after it drank its fill it buzzed up into the air and discovered the previously immovable barrier had miraculously peeled back#and presumably feeling like Moses facing the newly parted Red Sea it buzzed off into the sunset
