@bytebun I saw your tags and slapped together this quick tutorial for the gold leaf effect I used for one of my recent drawings (after retracing my steps because I’d already forgotten how I did it, oops).

I’m using Krita, I’m sure there are equivalent layer modes and filters in other drawing programms, too. Oh, and I recommend using a noise texture with fairly little dark in it, otherwise it looks odd.
