Hopefully I have acquired a suitable replacement for my bedsheets. I knew the old ones were getting worn, but it was still somehow a surprise when I rolled over and ripped the bottom sheet open.

#the new ones are in the wash as I type #they’re a cotton/lyocell blend instead of entirely cotton #with I am somewhat suspicious of #but they’re still the closest thing to what I want and I got tired of searching #and should be better than my backup sheets which are Bad Texture and basically unusable in summer #and I like rayon and it’s ilk fairly well #my blather #I really should get rid of the backup sheets #but I don’t want to throw them away #or inflict them on some other poor soul #esp since they’ve aged badly and got all pilled
