y’all i think i might just have stupid high expectations for stories these days because every time i watch something that multiple people are freaking out over how good it is it just leaves me….flat. like it was fine. it was okay. idk.

and then i go watch an anime about aliens and ghosts trying to steal genitalia and immediately have to go read the entire manga series. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ why am i like this.

#life #it’s not that the plot of dandadan is very good #it’s just that the way it’s told is very fun #it’s pretty clear there’s at best the barest framework of a plan #and that the creator is mostly just doing whatever seems funnest in the moment #but it’s still better than wicked agatha all along or inside out 2 #which are all the things that have recently left me lukewarm #dandadan
