"The prime minister and the chief minister have gone into hiding, abandoning Varanasi and its people to their own fate," the restaurant owner said. "The local BJP leaders are in hiding too. They have switched off their phones. This is the time people need them to help with a hospital bed or an oxygen cylinder but it's total anarchy here. People are so angry." The blame "lies with no-one else but the prime minister", said Congress politician Gaurav Kapoor. "The buck stops with him. The blame for every single death in the past month and a half in Varanasi - and in India - lies at his doorstep" Mr Kapoor said. Like many city residents, Mr Kapoor too has suffered personally - he lost an aunt and an uncle a fortnight back to Covid and a friend's brother is now battling for life in a hospital. He said when the numbers first began rising, he was inundated with calls seeking help in finding a hospital bed or an ambulance. "But people have realised that it's pointless. The calls now are for oxygen cylinders," he said.

Scattered thoughts on Code M
Its no secret from the time the trailer launched, that Code M is inspired from Shaurya, which in turn was a rip-off of A Few Good Men. i donât mind remakes or rip-offs as long as they are done well. Shaurya was done really well, Code M...not so much.
Most Alt shows are inspired by books, movies, or in some cases, Ektaâs already successful telly shows. No problem with that. My thing is that if Ekta wanted to remake something similar to Shaurya, she should have gone straight ahead with it. Not chickened out mid-way and taken a U-turn. But I guess a selfie with Modiji carries its own burden.
Throughout the first half, it almost seem like they are trying to couch the Muslim identity aspect of the show, even though that formed the crux of the storyline for the first four episodes. Of course, it can be seen subtlety, perhaps the writer did not want to underline that fact.Â
Then suddenly the writer takes this turn towards homosexuality and then moves on to Article 15. Then again for the final episode comes back to Shaurya.
A good drama may be centered around one character, but centering a show around one actor is always going to result in problems. The makers of the show were very clear that they are going to rely on Jennifer Wingetâs popularity to sail the show.Â
From her recent interviews, Ekta seems pretty keen on her idea of âwomen-centric movies/webseriesâ, where women lead the show. She said so recently in the Film Companion Producerâs Adda. So, Iâm guessing the germination of Code M was thus, first, letâs make a show led by a woman, second, letâs get a popular female actress to star in it, who has done single-lead shows in past. Jennifer Wingetâs name leaps to mind, third, what kind of script can we give her? Here the writers eventually zeroed in on Shaurya, fourth, okay, but we canât copy everything (especially in these hyper-nationalistic times), so letâs add other things caste, homosexuality, sexism at work toh hoga hi, and voila, we have a show ready.Â
The problem in this approach is a lack of integrity. Except for Monicaâs character, none of the characters have any depth or good writing. Maybe Shakti and Gaurav in the last two episodes, but none otherwise. This was especially a tragedy for Rajat Kapoor, who is usually a dependable actor. I think the brief to him was to imitate Kay Kay Menon (Shaurya), which he tries but fails miserably. He is clumsy in his performance, and thus, unconvincing.Â
As a JW fan obviously, I liked the show. She was controlled, and effective. She is able to add the right amount of sarcasm and wit to the character, that would have otherwise become too rigid. I liked her performance and that I believe this was the whole purpose of the web series. Â
But coming back, objectively the show could have been better. If youâve got actors like Rajat Kapoor and Seema B. give them something substantial and well-written to do, otherwise cast lesser actors.Â
On the whole, despite my criticism, its not a bad show. Its fast paced, engaging, the sets and camerawork is not the best, but adequate and smooth. The best part is that theyâve kept the romance to the minimum, and not done any faltu ka locha in that angle.Â
Haq Se is still the best Alt webseries, but Code M is not bad.Â
Its professional, just like Monica.Â

Mohammed Siraj tells a story about when he left KL Rahul annoyed
Mohammed Siraj's hard work has certainly paid dividends, and the Hyderabad pacer, who is called "Miyan bhaiâ by his teammates, has evolved into a leading figure in the national team. He made his first international appearance back in the year 2017, and although it took some time for Siraj to rise, his stature as a fast bowler has since elevated, especially after the India cricket team's tour of Australia in the year 2020â21, where he also made his Test debut.

In a freewheeling chat with Gaurav Kapoor in his show "Breakfast With Champions", the fast bowler narrated an incident involving KL Rahul when he was on the receiving end. The incident took place when Siraj was yet to make his IPL debut and was a net bowler. He was bowling to KL Rahul, who used to play for RCB.
Siraj said, "I had performed with the Under-23 team. I had played one match in the Ranji Trophy. I had taken a wicket, but then I was dropped for the next two matches, and I was out of the team.
"Next year it was RCB vs. Sunrisers, and I was a net bowler then. I bowled bouncer after bouncer to KL Rahul, and he got angry. He told me, "Khali bouncer hi aata hain tujheâ. I said, âBhaiya, I know other stuff too.â
Then Bharat Sir became quite impressed and went to VVS Laxman Sir to ask, "Who is this boy?"
He further added, "Next year, Arun sir became the coach of Hyderabad for the Ranji Trophy. The selectors were not selecting me for the Ranji Trophy. So Arun sir said, âI want this boy in the team. If you listen, then only I will join the association; otherwise, I will not. So Arun sir came and picked me, and I was the highest wicket-taker that year."

SRK Birthday Predictions: Stars Speak for the Super Star

âWoh sirf star nahi hai ... duniya hai meri!â
These words of Gaurav, his fictional Jabra fan, resonate the sentiments of many! An epitome of superstardom, Shah Rukh Khan has seen the heights of an actorâs career which many of us could only dream of. Though the second richest actor in the world can have all his Mannats fulfilled on a whim, this King of Bollywood does not seem to have any plans of k..k..k..k...curtailment!
Coming from a middle-class family to this âBaadshah-hoodâ, the journey has been a fairy tale that keeps on giving. He has been, over the years and even today, the perfect example of an outsider ruling the industry like it was never done before, on his own terms. Perfectly described by his suave dialogue from Don 2:
âKisne kaha ki chamatkar nahin hote, zara mujhe kareeb se dekho!â
Maybe only someone who wins 14 Filmfare awards gets to say lines like this. And another 30 Filmfare nominations; a Padma Shri; Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and LĂŠgion d'honneur by the Government of France; two Morrocan; two Malaysian; and Goodwill Ambassador award from South Korea. Throw in an honorary Black Belt in Taekwondo from South Korea! Yes. A Black Belt. Donât Underestimate the Power of a Common Man, we suppose.
If you havenât noticed by now, we are big fans of his dialogues. Prolific Quotes, Words of Wisdom, just little nuggets of knowledge. Sometimes hilarious memes, sometimes stories on their own. As he turns 55 on 02nd November, we, more overwhelmed than Kaveri Amma, bring you Shah Rukh Khanâs birthday predictions through, you guessed it right, his dialogues.
Born on 2nd November, SRKâs Zodiac Sign would be Scorpio. Letâs see what his birth chart tells us for his 2021.
Shah Rukh Khan Birth Chart:
Date of Birth: 2 November 1965
Time of Birth: 06:25 AM
Place of Birth: Delhi, India.
Want to know what your Birth Chart has to say about you? Get your Personalised Janampatri here!
Letâs start with his first notable role as a lead, someone who won deals of heart by losing his heart(?). Yes, Baazigar. And yes, run away, Madan Chopra!
Admittedly, the last few years have not been a breeze of air in the yellow fields of Punjab.
His last performance that garnered some praise and sparked some joy, was Raees in 2017. Zero was able to create the hype but fell flat even lower than his characterâs height. What Khan needs is a comeback. Can stars turn him into Om Kapoor from Om Prakash Makhija?
Well, the Influence or Dasha of Saturn and Bhukti of Rahu are controlling and restricting his career in the movies. But Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho... toh puri kaynaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai. Jupiter is going to enter Aquarius after 19th November 2020, and that is likely to provide a boost of Positivity to Rahu. In short, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost! Saturn in Mooltrikoni and Yogkaraka may provide him just the opening he is looking for, marking a heroic comeback.
To Err is human, but to keep repeating it is Criminal, Can we please make it stop, stop, stop?
Happy New Year, Dilwale, Jab Harry Met Sejal. What was Bauaa actually thinking? Looking at these scripts, somebody was clearly Gumshuda in some questionable thought while taking on the projects. Donât we, the people of Swades deserve another Mohan Bhargav or Coach Kabir Khan?
15 saal, 4 Mahine, 10 Din. Well, Planets predict that it may take some time. Par waqt⌠waqt hi to nahi hai humare pass⌠Okay, enough filmy for a day! The Good news is, after 7th March 2021, when Antardasha of Mooltrikoni Saturn begins, he may take on some various content-driven roles that are likely to suit his skills. Of course, there are chances that he may not get the money he is used to for those roles, but as Jug from Dear Zindagi would say, âSafe feel karne ke liye pehle saare dar mitana zaroori haiâ.
Where will your career take you in 2021? Find out now with Career Report 2021.
Burj Khalifa, Twitter Trends, Wankhede Stadium. Is there a thing like too much of a Stardom?
âChaaron Taraf Hain Mere Hi Charche, Hoton Pe Hai Bas Mera Naamâ these lines from Baadshah the song, is literally what he has been over the years. Be it his name lit up on the tallest building on the world or trends set on the Twitter with #AskSRK. At the same time, you see controversies coming up on how he behaves publicly, sits on a train berth, and many more.
The legend is only likely to grow. The major period of Saturn, which has made a firm and strong place for him in industry, will continue to keep him in the hearts of his followers and mind of his haters. His name is Khan, and he is not temporary. If anything, the fanship of the King is only likely to grow after March 2021. After all, âJo maza apni pehchaan ke saath jeene mein hai ... woh kisi doosre ki parchai banne mein nahi!â
Known for his energy and hard work, will Khan continue working round the clock?
One thing is for sure, he wouldnât be where he is today without the dedication and hard work. Everybody glosses over the glamour, very few know about the sweat that has gone behind the success. Many of his co-stars have praised him for the energy he brings to the set, despite having a sleep schedule of merely 4 hours a day! Does Punjab Power also lights up Suriâs life full of energy?
Well, as it turns out, Don ko rokna mushkil hi nahi, na mumqeen hai⌠This year, just like every year, he is likely to have sound and energetic health, without any breaks. The strong and sensitive transit of Jupiter and Saturn in the houses of health. Full energy and enthusiasm reporting to Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh.
You too can attract the benefits of mighty Jupiter with a Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj).
Competition is tough. Will Rahul be able to win without cheating?
For this Mufasa, the kingdom he used to rule is changing. New talents, movies that are not his forte, and his own contemporaries are making their own mark. The real question is, what future holds for the King? Being the wittiest person around, sure he would pull out this line from Don. âMujhe andhera pasand hai, tumhare aane waale kal ki yaad dilata haiâŚâ Astrology, on the other hand, pays him the tribute in his own style: larger than life. Have a go!
With his signature pose, arms open wide
He will continue to rule
The hearts of millions
Across the world
Jab tak hai jaan
Jab tak hai jaan
The major and sub period of Rahu
Until 23rd March 2023,
Will keep him protected
And allow him to be the King of Bollywood
Jab tak hai jaan
Jab tak hai jaan
A drop in a graph of popularity
A Â decrease in numbers of fans
will be there no longer,
as Badshaah set to rule the Kingdom
Jab tak hai jaan
Jab tak hai jaan
With same fashion and style
The habit of winning continues
With 4 Hâs working for him
HONESTY, HUMOUR, HARD WORK and a bit of HARAAMIPAN ;)
Jab tak hai jaan
Jab tak hai jaan
His contemporaries may claim highest grossing
Many newcomers may come
and mark their success
Dilwale will still stand out
Jab tak hai jaan
Jab tak hai jaan
Among all the nostalgia of a career spanning over two decades, we wish Shah Rukh Khan a happy 55th birthday. May he keep bringing the joy to the millions, help the ones who are in need with his Meer Foundation and other countless charities. As a promising and healthy year is around the corner, we call out all the SRKians, to count One Two Three Four, get on the Dance Floor, and rejoice. Adios, for now. Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte!

First-Rate Irrfan and A Delightful Deepak Dobriyal Lift the Film
A father and daughterâs journey to a new phase of their lives, a doff of the hat to old family ties that keep people together in times of need and dollops of humour dished out scene after sceneâ whatâs not to like in Angrezi Medium? The film takes a fresh approach to a family drama, building on the larger theme of parent-child relationship, adulting, and its accompanying youthful rebellion and so forth, all in the breezy style that is Hindi cinemaâs new normal.
youtube
What started off as something to ponder in Hindi Medium âthe obsession Indian parents have for getting their children an English educationânow has a natural progression in Angrezi Medium. In this outing a doting single father (Irrfan as Champak Bansal) goes to extreme lengths to send the apple-of-his-eye, his daughter Tarika (Radhika Madan), for graduation to a college in London, because thatâs what she has set her heart on.
Like its previous edition, this one too is quite the obstacle race packed with humour and of course, some touching moments. The young Tarika is determined to land a scholarship in a university in London to get away from her home in Udaipur to be cool and taste the much-coveted adult freedom. However, in an unexpected turn of events, her father innocently ends up spoiling her chances and tries thereafter to ensure that she gets the admission in the university by hook or by crook.
There are multiple directions in which the film could have goneâ but the writers â Bhavesh Mandalia, Gaurav Shukla, Sara Bodinar and Vinay Chhawall, narrow it down to an emotional father-daughter story that tugs at your heartstrings without getting inordinately preachy. Sure, there are some sappy emotional scenes that may appear contrived, but nothing that you will mind excessively. Director Homi Adajania, known for more urbane films like Finding Fanny, Cocktail or Being Cyrus, navigates this small-town emotional roller-coaster of a story, well, aiming to please the small-town audience.
Adajania along with producers Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios, not only retain most of the acting cast from Hindi MediumâIrrfan, Deepak Dobriyal, Tillotama Shome, but also bring in some noteworthy additions to it, namely Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Ranveer Shorey, and Radhika Madan. Adding to the humour quotient, there are Pankaj Tripathi and Kiku Sharda although their screen time is too short for a significant impact on the narrative.
Irrfan, who, despite a difficult phase of illness just before the filmâs shooting began, puts forward a stellar performance, absolutely convincing as the loving father, afraid to let his little one, go. His seamless emoting and the sensitivity he brings to the role, truly lifts the film. Deepak Dobriyal as his younger sibling and Radhika Madan as Tarika are excellent and the trioâs chemistry together is crackling. Dobriyal is delightful and Madan, a relative newcomer compared to the veterans she is pitted against, is confident and adorable as the pampered daughter, bringing in just the right degree of teenage angst.
Currently, films with middle-class minutiae humorously showcased are the new favourites at the marquee and given its comic and emotional twists, Angrezi Medium is quite the family drama worth earmarking for watching with your folks.
Angrezi Medium
Cast: Irrfan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Pankaj Tripathi, Kareena Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Kiku Sharda, Ranvir Shorey
Director: Homi Adajania
Rating: 3.5/5

Cryotherapy is catching on as a way to rejuvenate, heal, recover from injury - fitness

Christiano Ronaldo famously had a chamber installed in his home. Jennifer Aniston, Daniel Craig and Jessica Alba have sworn by it. Robin Uthappa, Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar use it too. Whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) is popular among elite sportspersons and stars looking for quick recovery and rehabilitation. But itâs now being used more widely, to manage pain and chronic inflammation, as well as just to feel refreshed, awake and alive. Hereâs what you should know before you seek some cold comfort. WHAT IS IT? ⢠You enter a vertical cylindrical chamber almost naked â standing in just your underwear and thick socks, and sometimes gloves, to protect your sensitive areas and extremities. ⢠A platform inside the machine adjusts your position so your head sticks out at the top. At such low temperatures, your body kicks into survival mode, forcing a rush of blood â and with it, oxygen and nutrients â to your core and your vital organs. âCryotherapy is a form of treatment that helps manage symptoms,â says Dr BM Jha, who heads the physiotherapy and rehabilitation science department at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Delhi. âIn sports, itâs used mainly to relieve wear and tear from training and playing.âHemish Patel, director of Yugeva Cryo, Surat says athletes as young as 13 use their services. For everyone else, the sessions can help rejuvenate the body, âespecially if oneâs work involves standing for long hoursâ says Jha. Basically, your next day will be free of aches and pains. Cryotherapy has also shown results in patients suffering from anxiety and depression. ⢠Inside, air cooled by liquid nitrogen drops the temperature drop to about -150° C. ⢠You stay in the chamber for 30 seconds to three minutes. ⢠When youâre done, you exit the chamber and do a few minutes of light stretches to get your blood flowing. âIâve done it, and it feels a little colder than standing in a meat freezer. Since nothing is in contact with your body itâs actually more comfortable than being in cold water,â says Gaurav Sethi, director of Alchemy Life, which offers WBC in Mumbai. WHAT COULD GO WRONG? ⢠Any liquid content will freeze on your skin and cause cold burns. So wipe yourself dry before entering a cryotherapy chamber. ⢠US sprinter and Olympian Justin Gaitlin, got frostbite on his feet from a cryotherapy mishap caused, reportedly, by wet socks. ⢠âHypothermia could set in if it is managed incorrectly,â says Dr Jha. âYou should recognise shivering and slurred speech as the onset of hypothermia and stop the treatment immediately. If any skin starts turning blue, stop immediately.â ⢠âDonât do it at all if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, asthma, high or low BP, open wounds, a fever, or cold,â says Patel. HOW DOES IT FEEL? âThe cooling process is gradual,â says Revati Krishna, an HT correspondent who tried a three-minute session. âYou will feel extremely cold for the time you are in the chamber. Depending on your bodyâs natural response to cold, you may or may not shiver, but thereâs no uneasiness. Expect to feel some lingering chill in your lower body for a few minutes after the session ends.â PAST & PRESENT ⢠WBC was developed in the 1970s in Japan, as a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. ⢠By the â90s, it had become popular across Europe, with spas offering cryotherapy as an alternative treatment for chronic pain. ⢠As its popularity grew, so did unsubstantiated claims of its benefits. Some athletes use it almost daily to reduce inflammation. Spas now claim that it helps with psoriasis, sleep disorders and migraines; weight loss, poor skin, damaged hair, even impaired focus and listlessness. While it may help alleviate the symptoms of these conditions for a day or two, it is not a treatment for any of them. ⢠In India, there are functioning whole-body cryotherapy setups in Mumbai, Surat and Bengaluru. Prices start at Rs 2,000 for three minutes. (HT pays for all services and trials) Read the full article

There once was a time, there was actually, when the editorial page was prime real-estate in a newspaperâthe home of evolved minds; a trove of thoughts and ideas; and a showcase of scholarly even if somewhat boring writing.
The dumbing down of the edit page, which began with the interventions of Samir Jain in The Times of India in the mid-1990s, in the name of making the page âreader-friendlyâ, is now complete, with its transmogrification into a dumping ground for pap and propaganda.
***
In the 31 days of August 2019âthe month the Narendra Modi government embarked on âMission Kashmirââseven leading English newspapers carried 42 pieces by political partisans on their editorial and op-ed pagesâ63 if you include economists, bureaucrats, columnists and actors, who wear their political persuasion like Army epaulettes, troll army that is.
# 49 of the 63 pieces had a BJP byline or an almost-BJP byline.
# 10 of the 63 pieces had a Congress or Congress-sounding byline.
# There was one AAP byline, one JDU byline, one YSRCP byline, and the byline of former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, who is currently unattached.
The most prolific BJP writer was its general secretary Ram Madhav, widely known to be a mover-shaker in many newsrooms and boardrooms, whose byline adorned four pieces in two publications in August.
Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad (3 pieces in 2 publications), BJP MPÂ Vinay Sahasrabuddhe (2 in 2), and former Congress minister Kapil Sibal (2 in 2) were close behind.
Home minister Amit Shah, who has never been accused by anybody of stringing a sentence in English, had two pieces in the space of 22 days in the worldâs most widely English daily, The Times of India.
***
The newspapers surveyed are The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Telegraph, Deccan Herald and The New Indian Express.
Express led the race with 32 pieces, 17 of which were by clearly identifiable BJP-RSS and establishment voices. Only P. Chidambaramâs weekly column on Sundays, till his custodial detention, rescued the Expressâs preeminent position somewhat.
Five of the six pieces on ToIâs edit page, grandly titled âAn Epiphany of Ideasâ were BJP voices, including, a posthumous piece in memory of Arun Jaitley.Â
Hindustan Times with five pieces had the most variety, with three pieces by BJP men and the other two by representatives of AAP and JDU.
The Hindu had the least number of ârequestâ pieces: one, by vice president Venkaiah Naidu, who also managed to sneak in a piece in the Express.
The English dailies in the South and East had to content themselves with lesser lights of the tongue parivar: Seshadri Chari (2) in Deccan Herald, Swapan Dasgupta (2) in The Telegraph, and A. Surya Prakash (1) in The New Indian Express.
NIEÂ had a piece by Lavusri Krishna Devarayalu of the YSR Congress.

One explanation for the profusion of political, largely BJP-RSS bylines, in The Indian Express can be the paperâs history. Its founder Ramnath Goenka identified himself closely with the Sangh, as does his adopted grandson Viveck Goenka (above).
The other explanation is that for all the size and reach of its competitors, The Indian Express has emerged as a more potent voice among the commentariat, and politicians are eager to see their wisdom on its pages.
Moreover, it has two op-ed pages, unlike ToI and HT. But The Hindu and Deccan Herald too have two op-ed pages, but they appear not to have fallen into the same trap, or are not as sought after given that they are based in the South.
It is also possible that August 2019 was a special month because the BJP lost two of its leaders, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley in the space of 20 days, so maybe the flurry of tearful tributes from the saffron brotherhood was very much in order.
But what the editorial pages of the seven newspapers demonstrate is the near-complete disappearance of in-house talent from the op-ed pages. Gone, it seems, are the days of assistant editors who could write a thousand words or more.
All through August, for instance, the only three staffers whose bylines adorned the Express pages were those of Coomi Kapoor (4), Seema Chishti (1), and Aakash Joshi (1).
Just what is achieved by the publication of these ego-massaging op-ed pieces by political partisans is open to speculation and easy to guess since not one of them seems to evoke any kind of reader response, as seen from the Letters to the Editor columns of the papers.
Also read: Has The Indian Express become a pro-establishment newspaper?
In 31 days of August, 7 English newspapers had 63 political and âalmost-politicalâ bylines on their edit and op-ed pages. Leader of the pack: âThe Indian Expressâ with 32 BJP and BJP-ish voices in 39 pieces. There once was a time, there was actually, when the editorial page was prime real-estate in a newspaper---the home of evolved minds; a trove of thoughts and ideas; and a showcase of scholarly even if somewhat boring writing.

When it comes to wedding dressing, itâs always best to be sure about your choice of outfits. If you are smart, you will probably try on all your outfits with a hair and make-up trial to make sure you achieve the desired results on your big day. Advice will come from far and wide about the best colours to pick from, the best stores to visit and what silhouettes to choose, but the ultimate person whose approval you need is yourself.
Cocktail dressing is an important part of your wedding trousseau. Whether itâs the reception, drinks night or sangeet that you pick a black-tie dress code for, the gown bears as equal an importance as any other look.
Bollywood stars have illustrated the power of the red carpet staple gown time and again. From Sonam Kapoorâs sweeping trails to Aishwarya Rai Bachchanâs dramatic silhouettes, which celebrity approved gown could be the foundation of your look?
Bigger is better Aishwarya Rai Bachchanâs show-stopping ice blue gown by Michael Cinco is for the bride who doesnât like to hold back on the drama. Thereâs no doubt all eyes will be on you if you choose to go with a look this powerful. You can also look to Deepika Padukoneâs Ralph & Russo gown or Sonam Kapoorâs textured lavender gown (also by Ralph & Russo) for reference. Since your wedding is probably the only time you will be able to pull off a look so striking, donât think twice before making the choice.
Colour power If you arenât a fan of embellishments, make a statement with colour. Priyanka Chopraâs red Jason Wu gown and Alia Bhattâs hot pink Sachin and Babi number are perfect examples of understated glamour. You can load up on the accessories to make the ensemble more wedding-appropriate. A solid coloured look in a warm hue will photograph better than a muted tone.
Bling is king Embellishments are a fail-safe choice to go with as has been proven time and again. From Sonam Kapoorâs gold gown to Sonakshi Sinhaâs red crystal studded look from the IIFA Awards, embellishments can be the focus of your cocktail look. Tone down on the accessories if your outfit is too busy with other elements.
Scroll through our gallery to look for inspiration for celebrity-approved designer gowns for your wedding.
