Every month, I try to learn Mando'a and every month I remember why i gave up last time...
Me, everytime: oh this cant be that hard, im already bilingual and learned Aurebesh...
...
It has GRAMMAR?!!
#the only words I'll ever know are Buir Cyar'ika and Vod...#and jetti but that's not that hard#i kinda know beskar'gam because I once did a project on mandalorian culture for school but i forget it half of the time#and these arent necessarily the most useful words too like “parent darling friend jedi armor” isnt a phrase or even close to being coherent#zjvsgshbsvzos#at least its better than my huttesse... all i know is how to tell ppl to fuck off-#star wars#mando'a#Mando'a is hard to learn#mandalorian#btw this is coming from the person who learned Norwegian during spanish class because i hated being told what to do#and then failed my spanish exam for answering the months and days in Norwegian#i already know french english with a bit of Norwegian even less spanish and an odd mix of Japanese#plus all the random words in a bunch of language at random that i picked up from listening#i learn language for fun#but grammar???#grammar terrifies me#im better in english class than in my native language because english is so easy and im too lazy for french grammar rules

I’m back!
Before saying something else...Happy New Year!
Damn it’s been a long time since the last time I wrote...to be honest I completely forgot. Like...well there was once or twice I thought about writting but then, I forgot it again so... yeah, I’m a mess lmao.
So, if I’m not wrong the last time I wrote was in August so...yep it’s been a long time. I could talk about everything that happened to me but it would be way too long, I’ll try to sum up everything and maybe on this post, or on a new one I’ll write something about my 2017.
University:
It’s been fun, it’s been good. I met a lot of people but the ones I talk the most are Lucas (the boy from Argentina), Victoria (a Norwegian girl whose father is from Chile), Luisa (from Colombia) and Alejandra (who is Spanish). Alejandra was at first...I don’t know, I don’t think we actually connected at first, but I guess after seeing each other every day we got along. She’s actually funny. And there’s this girl also whose name is Lucy...she’s crazy, quite weird but she’s nice. I feel like she’s full of drama and stress. Apart from Lucas, I could say that I met two boys too but I don’t talk with them that much. And there was this girl, Ana María, who was the first girl that I started talking to at university and I thought she was going to be nice and everything, but she kind of changed in less than a month. I think she got pissed because I was sitting all the time with Lucy, but well I will talk about that in another post.
University feels good. Gotta say that this history subject fucked me up. I feel like I’m going to fail the exam but...well...I did my best. The other two subjects were good. Got two A’s.
Work:
It’s going okay, sometimes stressfull because the manager, Funda, stresses everyone but you know, I don’t actually care. If she has to scream, scream, I’ll be doing my work so...I don’t know I just try to focus on the work, I’m not that kind of person that at the very moment someone yells at me I jump and answer back. And I just do my work as I said, if someone tells me to do something, I’ll do it. But well, it’s actually good, work is good. And more when pay day comes. My favourite person from work is Klaudia, who is Polish and a year older than me. Then it’s Nico, who is from Uruguay but he’s going back to Spain in three weeks. And then there’s Michael, who is also Polish and obviously he had to start a relationship with Klaudia. Michael is 28 and Klaudia is 22. Anyway, they’re both great but when they’re together they just speak in Polish and it’s like...please I exist, talk to me, don’t leave me alone. Also I have to say that Valentina, a girl from Italy, has become a good friend too even though she’s 27 (I think).
Family:
Christmas was okay, my grandmother came to Norway because there in Spain she’s alone with my uncle and since my grandfather is gone...it was going to be pretty sad because we couldn’t go to Spain on Christmas. So yeah, we decided to take her here and show her Norway. Even though Christmas has been fine, obviously I’ve missed my grandfather at the table. It was actually weird...not used to it...
