I’m done with ship wars, my actual enemies are the hair team that put Luke in those awful wigs, and those bitches who keep posting Botox and Lip filler rumors about him. Like it pisses me off BAD. I’m sorry you didn’t pay attention to this man until he was the lead, but his lips have always looked like that, a lip flip does NOT work that way, and his forehead has wrinkles. It was disgusting the way people have bullied Luke for his looks, and it’s even worse now that they push this lie about him for clicks.
So for reference:
Luke when he was cast:

Luke in Bridgerton vs the Lodge

Luke in S1 Presentation scene vs S3 wedding scene

Luke’s wrinkly forehead and emotive face:

And an example of how his top lip disappears when he smiles, which is NOT something that happens with a lip flip:

The lip flip allegations are an especially egregious example of repeating something they know nothing about because a lie is more fun than the truth. A lip flip is specifically done to prevent your lip from thinning when you smile. Luke’s lip thinning out when he smiles is a consistent feature of his since childhood. His lips simply haven’t been touched.
Sorry he’s not a crusty man with no lips like y’all apparently need him to be to believe him in a period piece, but his lips aren’t even big enough for people to be acting this way, I’m sorry. He gained a little weight in his face in S2 which unleashed a wave of hate for him and threw people off, but when he lost it he looked just like he did in S1, just slightly more mature, but his face was always like this and he was always hot, in S1,2 and 3.
I would say I hope karma finds the people who keep pushing this, but Luke just starred in a hugely successful season of a hit tv show and they’re at home making tiktoks complaining that he’s too hot to be real. Karma already handled it.
