Season 5 of Voyager is easily my favorite (and probably my overall favorite season of any Star Trek show), but Iโll never forget starting season 6 for the first time and watching three of the most amazing episodes back-to-back (Equinox, Survival Instinct, Barge of the Dead) and excitedly hoping that the entire season was going to be like that. It very much was not.

imo voy s6 wasnโt as good as s5 or s4 because a lot of the cracks that made s7 terrible were starting to show and the borg stuff was pretty played out by then but it still had a pretty number of enjoyable concept episodes. haunting of deck twelve, tsunkatse, and live fast and prosper were all fun and offbeat and did a good job of demonstrating the quirkiness and lawlessness of the delta quadrant in a way we didnโt get nearly enough of throughout the rest of the show
#also blink of an eye was amazing of course and memorial and barge of the dead were both really good
