#and earlier i think but im only really interested in '64 onward#and u know. i thought of this post originally regarding . bill bruford. of course#but then i was like hold the fuck on#NO ONE was free from curly/textured hair oppression back then#but re: bill. im only aware of three pics from around this time but his hair was straightened in all of them :'(#two of them are really funny ill have to post them later#his curls are so beautiful it makes me so sad lol#marc bolan didnt completely straighten his hair but he did brush it out weirdly#many such cases etc etc#a beast that can talk
