Merlin disappeared for the day and Arthur agreed to accompany his knights to the tavern in hopes of finding his servant there. When Merlin was not there, Arthur came to the conclusion he probably had a lover. A man most likely because why else be so secretive? He ignored the feeling of his heart breaking and went to get another round. Tonight he wasn't the king. Arthur was, like most men in the establishment, some poor fool who drank to get rid of the pain.

It was much later when the door suddenly opened and a lithe figure slipped in. When he stepped into the candlelight, Arthur frowned, before a big smile brightened his face.

Merlin: The tavern? Really?

Arthur jumped up from his chair, stumbling over to his servant, who looked like a deer in the headlights.

Merlin: Arthur are you drunk?

Arthur had managed to make his way over and was now pulling on Merlin's arm.

Arthur: 'm not drunk, I was just so sad

Merlin looked at the knights like they were responsible for the kings current state.

Meanwhile said king continued to pull on Merlin's sleeve until they were close enough that Arthur could wrap his arms around him, his head buried in Merlin's neck.

Arthur: don't worry, 'm not sad anymore, now you're here

Merlin, confused why his dollophead would suddenly care if he was there or not: Why were you sad?

Arthur tightened his grip: i know you have somebody, thats not fair, tell me Merlin, who is it? So I can demand a duel. I would win, Merlin, for you I would kill, for you I would die

Merlin trying to wiggle out of his grasp squeaking: Oh my god you are beyond all reason how much have you had? We should go and get you ready for bed

Arthur pouting: Are you coming with me?

11.05.2025 🐍 today's anthy!

i drew this around lunar new year ... when i wasnt feeling quite well haha ... i think i stopped working on it because there was a lot of negative space where the ''2025'' is and still is to the right of it ,it looked really empty but didnt know what to do with it. i wish i could remember what brushes i used for texturing, maybe i couldv done that to the background to make it more interesting. but i found this again yesterday when i was organising my files and added the lettering (numericaling ?❔❔❔) and the snake eye drop. which i remember i kept trying to do over and over before i stopped working on it months sago but it just wouldnt turn out right. it came to me pretty easily before i fell asleep last night though. i guess it just needed some time

OH also, AU I've been thinking about where the Lan are known for being professional ballet dancers/teachers and Lan Sizhui is like Lan Wangji's protégé (/son) of sorts. Meanwhile, Mo Xuanyu is like a self taught ballet dancer that learned everything he knows from trial and error, and online. Cut to Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji's favourite musician (anything but classical) and the guy whose music he used to dance to just for fun, who has been basically dead to the world for thirteen years, putting out a call for two young ballet dancers to help him with his new music video. Lan Sizhui and Mo Xuanyu, who both grew up dancing to his music (Sizhui with his father), offer auditions. Wei Wuxian has always loved the Lan and is honoured to have one in his music video, and he is in love with Xuanyu's raw, emotional dancing. Cue found family and all that, I've just realised how insane this actually sounds

Rottmnt! Leo and TMNT 2012! Leo meeting in my head would only go one way:

Meanwhile, TMNT 2012! Leo looks at Rottmnt! Leo, and he sees this version of himself who didn’t have to bear the burden of being the responsible one, the weight of constantly having to be perfect. He sees how his brothers love and admire Rottmnt! Leo’s carefree attitude, his ability to goof off and be himself, and wonders if they’d prefer that side of him too. He wishes he could have been like that—just a brother who’s fun to be around, someone who is loved for who he is, not just seen for what he does.

At the core, though, they’re both Leonardo. They both feel that their worth is tied to how useful they are, how perfect they can be for their family. They both believe that in order to be good brothers and leaders, they need to be flawless. And in each other, they see what they think they need to be more like: Rottmnt! Leo sees the disciplined, capable leader he believes he should become, while TMNT 2012! Leo sees the fun-loving, carefree brother he could have been if he didn’t have to be the "other parent.”

And this all leads to feelings of envy, jealousy, and, of course, friction between the two. They both struggle with the idea that the other version of themselves has something they wish they had—and it makes them question if they’re ever truly good enough as they are.
