I have at various points of my life been a fan of tswift…. But…. dare I say it…. This new album is….. bad.
#listen all the songs sound the same#and the lyrics are weird af#like not even remotely clever or poetic#ultra cringe#not tagging because I don’t want to be eviserated#listen……#folklore is one of my fave albums so that era (folklore/evermore) was really winning me over#and then to follow that with a return to the generic pop sound with way less clever lyrics in midnights and now tpd….. DISAPPOINTING#maybe it’s just not for me but damn reading them lyrics is giving me secondhand embarrassment#and unfortunately just know it’s going to absolutely destroy cowboy carter on the charts and in awards…..
