I can’t spawn a random horse and save?#i don’t even care abt the infinite health or dead eye stuff#i just want to see the horse patterns#it’s weird.#the only other game I know with built in cheats is Minecraft#and it turns off achievements on bedrock but not saving#some people say it could corrupt your game file but that doesn’t make sense to me#it’s just changing values that you can-for the most part-change yourself in game#like you can unlock all outfits yourself-or make 500$-or change your honor#some of them might be more iffy but. cmon#if they’re really worried about it#why not give the players a corruption warning rather than blanket stopping players from saving at all#idk I’m tired and sad

wanna talk abt like keefes anger and the way he handles it
bc like there are very few instances in the series that keefe is like outwardly angry outside of his own pov. being raised in an emotionally abusive family can fuck you up real bad in the way you handle your emotions, thats without even putting into account the fact that hes an empath. like, that environment where you're constantly forced to push down any negative emotion because you know itll just make things worse for you, it can cause you to let it out in unhealthy ways, often times towards yourself.
i feel like he has so much anger and rage inside of him that he is forced to keep inside and he would rather ruin himself a hundred times over than let it out on someone he loves, and i have no doubt hes terrified of it. hes terrified of himself, of the thoughts and feelings that he has. and im trying really hard to like keep it in cannon and remember whats actually real but i know he has said that he, and i quote "has a major dark side" and that violence and blood doesnt really affect him the way that it does other elvesthe way its supposed to. some people just, are like that, they have dark, bad, violent thoughts, especially mentally ill ppl or victims of abuse. and on keefes side, his dad is a shitty abuser and his mom has killed enough people to be considered a serial killer, i dont think it would be a surprise if he himself had violent thoughts like those, thoughts and feelings that he doesnt act on but theyre still there.
idk what the point of the post is i just have thoughts that i worry are too obvious but then when i say them here ppl like them so ✨anggggsstt✨

Fighting battles that have ABSOLUTELY been seen before (wanting to restart my Animal Crossing New Leaf town so I can begin the game from scratch and as myself as I am now vs. not wanting to restart my town because nostalgia and I'd miss my villagers)

The disconnect I have with my player character now?#I learned the hard way that acnl is VERYYYYYYY much a perpetrator of stricter gender norms/stereotypes#I have everythimg unlocked so when I booted up the game recently and tried to dress up the character so I can be more Me(tm) in the game#I went to Gracie's store to get pants and she was like- and I quote-#<<oh this is part of a men's line but I'm sure a woman like you could pull it off>>#GOOD LORDDDDDDDDD IT FELT AWFUL READING THAT BRO#gen made me so uncomfy that I just quit the game and haven't opened it since#there's also Harriet initially limiting the hairstyles by gender but she does open it up as an option but it is also kinda a whole#<<oh yeah you're a girl but you can pull off men's hairstyles too :))))>> which doesn't come off NEARLY as derogatorily#I mean yeah it's good that the options are still opened up but god. They sure did make improvement with acnh in that regard LMAO#also there's a whole thing of. I don't know how many things I would still be able to unlock if I reset like#It's been a million years!! I don't remember how I unlocked stuff like the little consoles and or mii head!!#both of those are very important btw I spent SOOOOO much time playing the little console minigames and the mii head is really the only way#for me to have my actual skintone for my character (for those who don't know in acnl- and every mainline game before it afaik- your#character started out with the lightest skintone no matter what and the only way to darken it was to wait for clear sky days in summer#and look up and press A or whatever and then you get a tan and I think even then you had to do it on different days for each melanin gain#even me who's relatively fair-skinned would have to spend like half a week for it SOOOO thank you acnh for improving in that field LMAO)#Anyways it is obviously a whole thing of only really getting one or the other#It's already less than a 1% chance that I can even get ONE of the same starting villager it's just IMPOSSIBLE to get all of the same ones#even if I managed to get all their amiibo cards (which I don't think that's really possible either without spending A LOT) iirc if you have#a full town they randomly select one villager to kick out so. It'd be a whole thing really#and just buying a new copy of the game is prolly the better solution if I don't want to delete the old game but atp why bother 💀💀💀#it's just!!! agfhfhdhdjs if only it was as simple as just. Make a new save slot character and they can replace the old one#but alas!!!!!! Deleting the mayor character = deleting the save file as a whole#I say all this but also like. I CAN probably bring myself to delete the save file#I've done it a bunch of times with Tomodachi Life (only reason I'm not doing it again is because I have a bunch of people on there that I#straight up gen am never seeing again because they've either moved or graduated and it feels disrespectful at that point)#and I also did it with Happy Home Designer and Pokémon Moon and even New Horizons a WHOLE lot#idk why it feels like such a big deal for acnl????????????

so this is really niche and probably wont make sense to alot of people but amnesia memories Percy centric au where Oliver gets to be a little toxic as a treat and takes Toma's place, putting Percy in the cage(tm) in a messed up delusional attempt to protect him
#percy weasley#perciver#Oliver wood#all the boys but kent are a bit fucked up in amnesia but god is it my all time fav dating sim#also Shin is Marcus because it fits really well#and Ukyo could easily be Cedric#i want to play crowd x later so so bad but i never did buy a switch :/#though it's honestly best when you dont go into it focusing on the romance#like Kent's is a pretty typical dating sim route#but Ikki's is like a harassment simulator granted thats more his fans then him#Shin's is a murder mystery#Toma's feels like a regular dating sim route at first but as you can see things take a turn#and Ukyo's has more of a tragic almost horror vibe in a way since it's the last one unlocked and is explaining a bunch of stuff#but really highly recommend it#the first game is normally pretty cheap on steam

#playing ender magnolia finally aaaaaaargh it's SO GOOD#i played the first game not too long ago#i'd actually had it for a while but never finished it but this time i stuck around and i really liked it#and i'd heard that the sequel was a massive improvement and god. they weren't lying that game can good#it's just... the same basis but done So much better and with little qol changes that make it so fucking good#like in the first one your 'special attacks' had a limited amount of uses between checkpoints whereas here it's just a cooldown#the map used to be just a bunch of vague rectangles representing each map with lines connecting them#but now it's like... actually showing the shape of the level and with symbols keeping track of a lot of useful stuff#like. symbol for a breakable barrier or an item to pick up or a door that needs opening#in the first one it was kinda... lacking in any useful information it was literally just rectangles with no markers or anything#it was your job to remember the whole map layout gkfjjfd#better upgrades better equipment system. you start the game with double jump & dash#so you don't have to slog through the first areas being all slow as fuck to unlock them you're already going whoosh whoosh#and yet it doesn't get in the way of the sense of progression at all like the other abilities you unlock do add a lot#THE SOUNDTRACK ???#central stratum - steel district so fucking GOOD oah yummy#honestly this might end up being one of my faves#i need to finish it first to tell but ough it's good#prepping its little My Special Boys spot next to the ori series and islets#(play islets btw)

#to be fair the character also has lots of earth attacks#he's the earth and wind#but if you want it to be earth then don't put WIND in the fucking name!#call it icicle punch or something! frigid spike! snow plow! literally ANYTHING that doesn't directly reference the opposite element!#it has a fire+wind counterpart that's similar. that one's called Mirage so at least they didn't mess that up#heat+air=mirage. that's good stuff#it's also effective against amorphous enemies aka slimes and stuff#and to get the Virtuoso's Ventite (unlocks extra arte slots) i had to fight a bunch of waves of amorphous enemies#so i mapped my A button to mirage and just punch punch punched#ka asks
