#it is. almost 4 in the morning#but i could write an essay on this RIGHT NOW#the subversion of the tropes seen in shonen where it usually focuses on father and son#and the mother is just tragicslly dead or weirdly absent#and you expect yujis dad to be importsnt from the first chapter#but hes just some guy (as far as we know). a dude#AND ONE OF THE MAIN VILLAINS IS HIS MOTHER???#and the twisted sort of love that they have yuji#the foreshadowing where kenjaku is wat hing over yuji in like his second appearance in the manga??#and THE WOLF PANEL IN SHIBUYA#and the “thank you for looking after my son” panel??? consumes me#ok im done for right now#jjk
