Hey! hope it’s not a bother but,singer/performer reader x COD men? Could potential be bodyguard/ secret service AU to make it more realistic . I was thinking back to the Beyoncé renaissance concert ( ik not everyone is a fan but vibe with me). when she sings all up in all up your mind, it looks likes she looking for someone specific in the crowd before starting the performance directly in front of her man. I just think it would be entertaining to think of the men’s reactions to the lyrics/dance.

has a very similar vibe to sabrina carpenter in the way they’re playful and provocative, but never quite crossing the line. that is until one performance..

john “captain” price:

he intended on retiring months ago, but simply couldn’t sit still, he was a natural workaholic after all. so he soon got hired as a bodyguard for a popstar, you. did he find you quite pretty? yes. he was attracted to your playful and youthful nature, and as much as he tried to act annoyed at your antics sometimes he couldn’t.

so one night, as per usual he found himself in the pit of one of your concerts, “tactically” monitoring the stage (using it as an excuse to watch you prance around in your performance wear). which is when a slower song came on, one he hadn’t heard yet before.

you slowly strutted down the stage line to the edge, right where he stood. you held the mic stand, one leg wrapping around it as you leaned yourself down to sing slowly. to anyone outside, it looked like you were staring at the audience as you sung but he just knew.

something about that look in your eyes just manages to make him hard, holy shit what did he get himself into?? he’s too old for this..

much like his captain, he simply couldn’t sit still after retirement. and after a series of sketchy bodyguarding jobs he managed to land one as yours, now its not that he didn’t like it, it just wasn’t too favorable to him.

he had to walk red carpets trailing behind you, attend your fittings, meetings, recording sessions, etc. he was essentially your shadow, so therefore he became the target of your teasing. why did you do it? maybe you liked him, maybe you wanted to do it for fun, but regardless you did it.

here he found himself, standing close to the stage at one of your shows. at this one, you were sat down doing some light chair choreo with some backup dancers. this song however was unfamiliar to him, how does he not know this he’s been to everyone of your recordings?

it was one of those slow mid show songs to give you a bit of a rest, and just slow enough to gaze at him with those eyes. those eyes that somehow screamed out of his league and “fuck me” at the same time. he had never heard you preform this before, but now? he would want to hear it every second if he could.

not exactly retired, but during his off seasons he liked to keep busy. his version of busy? body guarding for one of the most popular pop stars ofc!! he loved being known as the pretty boy who accompanied you to every event, the one who held you coat and shielded you from the paparazzi.

you’ve grown to love him as hes as gentle as men get!! hes charming, sweet, and most of all handsome. what more could a gal want in a bodyguard?

one night, during your london show he was lingering near stage by the barricades making sure no one threw anything or got too rowdy as you got close. the slow part of the song kicked in as you slid down onto your stomach, batting your lashes and gently kicking your feet like a lazy cat. you were staring right at him as you hummed the word “I bet we’d have really good bed chem..” and he turned so red he had to look away.

after the show he couldn’t even look you in the eye and couldn’t stop staring at the same time. I mean could you really blame him when he slipped into your hotel room later?

after being discharged due to being shot, he couldn’t just stop working. which is how he ended up getting to be your bodyguard, I mean he checked all the boxes. ex military, honorable discharge, and a charming smile? oh and he’s funny!

being honest you most hired him cause of his mohawk and funny flirty jokes.. but anyways

he enjoyed every part of his job, watching you practice, red carpets, outfit fittings, makeup, traveling with you, etc.

one place he enjoyed the most? nyc, mostly because you went all out for your shows in major cities. the shows usually ran around 30 minutes longer, and he swore you performed his favorite songs.

during this one particular show, an all too familiar song came on. you had only preformed it once, and the last time you did he swore he couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks.

you slowly drifted towards front stage with your backup dancers slowly following, and as you sat on a stool they surrounded you in various sitting positions as you got to the peak of the song. your eyes drifting to him oh so slowly as you seemed to utter the lyric that made his spine quiver.

he managed to divert his eyes quick enough before anyone could tell, and your eyes drifted to the audience as that part of the song ended and you got up to continue the choreo.

things weren’t the same after that, I mean poor man could barely survive an hour around you without a tent appearing )):
