since we are allready on the topic of stuff i forgot to post about: here's this years annotopia. Sadly my bestie couldn't make it so our trio was down to two, but we still had a blast, don't have many pics tho and I'm not gonna post any pictures of mah boi bc I'd have to stick my lil anima-face-censors over it and that's not an effort I'm willing to go through atm lul. Lets start out with some stuff I made for my costume

First off we have this flower lamp thiny which I made from one of these plastic balls you can get in a craftsrote, some wire, fabric and acrylic paint. The plastic ball has like a hole in the back through which I just shoved in a tiny pack of fairy lights and I diffused the light by covering the plastic ball in several layers of spray on glitter glue

and then I attached that to my big boy flower stick

with the cutoffs of my stick and some wire and fake-moss i made some magic wands that are colour coordinated with the others characters for each member of the trio

Sadly at the con itself we didn't take that many pictures, mostly bc we were bussy enjoying the moment, and the ones I do have are mostly just me standing awkwardly and squinting at stuff in the poor lighting or my buddy and I fooling around and recreating ffxiv poses lul

at least I can use my stick as a functioning latern lmao

butterfly capes are from amazon btw, originally I wanted to order custom ones from an etsy shop that I've physically been to during my classtrip to spain but at the time I did not have the financial means to buy from them, definetly will upgrade in the future tho

the etsy shop I'm eyeing is called CostureroReal and they have all things witchy and foresty, they do (or at least did when I was there, idk if they survived the rona) have a shop in Barcelona, just a few minutes by foot from the La Rambla streetmarket, if you ever find yourself in the city.
