🍄‍🟫 does your f/o have any little quirks or habits that you find endearing? do you have any quirks or habits your f/o finds endearing?

Kento has a little cowlick near the back left side of his head he can never tame in the mornings. 💕 It's partly due to the way the hair grew back after Shibuya. It's very subtle, and I honestly didn't notice it until he pointed it out to me one day. He's very meticulous with applying sunscreen as well as the brand he buys. He strongly dislikes scented products but he'll wear cologne. He's very precise when he cooks and follows recipes to a tee. If a recipe calls for Irish butter, then we'll plan a drive to the seaside village from the farmhouse to get Irish butter. He doesn't believe in adding ingredients "to taste". He wants DIRECT measurements: tablespoon, quarter teaspoon. And if not, he WILL find out, trust. 🙂‍↕️ He can't drink coffee without something to eat. And likewise he won't let me do the same. 💕 Which I appreciate because I get so jittery ☕🥴

Kento loves my demand for too many blankets and pillows on the bed, my chaotic sleeping patterns and how my foot always needs to be touching his despite our separate sleeping positions, the way I frequently mismatch the color socks on my feet, he loves that I'm left handed and thinks the smudge of ink and pencil on my hand after my writing sessions is adorable, and how I select Yoshi without fail whenever we play Mario kart💕

The irony of how Shiu loves his car but hates to drive and grumbles about traffic. His card shuffling skills, how he complains about the price of everything but will go into debt for a fancy wheel of Brie cheese. How he treats all minor occasions like celebrations and will open a bottle of wine if I complete one of my long standing projects around our house💕 and his secret sweet tooth he doesn't want to admit to that honestly rivals mine. 💕

Shiu loves watching me get ready, the stray bobby pins I leave around the house like I'm marking my territory, my love of scented candles, how I refuse to watch any movies where an animal gets hurt, and my need to always have a little treat of some kind, usually coffee and a warm pastry. 🙂‍↕️💕

🤎 do you have any tender, domestic, and/or soft moments you've experienced with your f/o that mean a lot to you?

i love raising children with Kento and seeing how much they adore him, which makes me love him even more. I love how in the evenings after tucking the animals to sleep he'll shed his eyepatch completely and just be comfortable and free. I love how he'll just look at me, without that glimmer of doubt or self consciousness in his expression like he's finally accepted that I see all of him and adore him completely as he is. 💕

i love holding shiu in the shower and cleaning one another after a long day. Physical touch is a huge aspect of our relationship and connecting to one another through skin heals and calms me. Sometimes I'll find myself crying for no reason, like the first shower he gave me after I gave birth. Our baby was safe in the nursery and he just held me for the longest time as I let the tears fall and we rode out the emotions together. 💕

🕯️ do you wear your f/o's clothes? do they wear yours? what's your favorite piece of clothing to steal from them? what's their favorite piece of clothing to steal from you?

Yes! I steal Kento's band tees from college and have all but usurped the entire collection as my own. 🙂‍↕️💕 Kento doesn't really steal things of mine but he has adopted a more casual style because of me💕

I steal and wear Shiu's coats when I go out and about. They're so much warmer than mine and they have better pockets.🙂‍↕️ He's a good sport about it and keeps it dry cleaned in case I feel like wearing it. 💕 Shiu doesn't really steal my clothes either, but he does steal my fancy lotions and creams. 💕

💌 if your f/o wrote you a letter, what would their writing style be like? what is their handwriting like? would they use fancy stationary? maybe normal notebook paper? what about a wax seal? (if your f/o has already written you a letter (or letters!), describe what the letter was like!)

Kento has that doctor's handwriting. Cursive and narrow letters that aren't too legible. But he's so eloquent. His style of writing is very reflective of his thought process which is insightful and contemplative but maintains that pragmatic side of him that is clear and conscise. He doesn't use anything fancy when he's writing me notes from around the farmhouse, but if he's in Tokyo for longer periods of time, he'll send a sealed letter with stationary from his office.

His letters and notes are full of love and encouragement. They're like little promises while he's away but he writes like he never left. Faithful, grounding, forever unmoving in his love and his loyalty. 💕 He always closes them with some iteration of "yours."💕

Shiu's handwriting is chicken scratch in all honesty😂☠️ small and scribbly, but it's him. He's very enriched with his thoughts, both verbally and on paper. The stationary he uses is typically pretty fancy, with elaborate ball point pens and black ink. He's a master of communication and it shows with how well he knows his audience. Luckily, his audience for his letters is usually only me 💕 he usually writes them for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. He's always been romantic and seems to have taken notes from my romance novels. Poetic, sweet and full of devotion.💕 Despite whatever MMC I'm reading about, Shiu needs to make sure to remind me that he's the best. 💕

Bro I have so muchhhhhh, like I got them all single w a kid, couples (Jeckole, emiari, Emicole etc) w kids it's so great

Im gonnna stat w jeckole and emiari cus realistically theyre the only ones I have right now (and theyre British idk maybe it’s cus im British 🥸)

Jeckoel:

- her name is Nadia

- she’s around eight yrs old

- she has jecka, with Nicole’s colour palate. If that makes sense, but w Jecka’s eyes.

- she’s very sassy, very ‘mature’, very clingy but will clock u. Will call u out on bullshit. It gets her in a lot of trouble 💔

- Nicole and Jecka dont post her on social media and if they do her face is covered

- her favourite parent is Nicole because jecka’s firmer, Nicole lets her get away with a lot of things cus she thinks it’s funny

- has made jedka not want another kid 💕

- She liked collecting pretty rocks she finds on the street.

- has a LOT of toys.

- mainly dresses int shirts and shorts, unless she’s going out then she wears a jacket with it.

- Again, Emily and Ari dont post her on social media unless her face is covered, but they do post a bit more then Nicole and Jecka (Nicole and Jecka just cant be asked. Their instagrams r so dead)

- shes really only wearing her pyjamas or her school uniform 💔

- copy’s Emily a lot, but that means she listens to Emily.

- shes actually so sweet though. She’s quiet but friendly, and talks a lot but only with people shes comfortable with.

I MISS YOUUUU but of course let me get down to business 😼

1. i would actually be a larger succulent because i’d be an aeonium black rose! just like me, they are unique and edgy with a dark aesthetic, but they are non toxic and low maintenance (i can’t say if i’m not toxic or, but i can say that my personality is a stark contrast to my aesthetic 🙂‍↕️). they also prefer full sun and warmer temperatures, just like me, because i’m always cold and dramatic 🥺

2. okay admittedly, i’m not a big art nerd but i do really enjoy it even though i’m a noob. but a few of my favourites are (unsurprisingly, mostly equine related) some of the lady godiva paintings, of which particularly john collier’s version always stood out to me, a lot of alfred james munnings’ work, and of our own soil otto eerelman who specialised in animals and farm life. he traveled the world documenting different horse breeds and types and i own a copy of that collection actually :3

3. my favourites always switch up a bit but generally, strawberry, lychee and peach are always up there for me . . . my least favourite is probably pear or blood oranges, although i don’t think i ever really gave pears a try 🫠 like i very early on decided i disliked the texture and that was that

4. i don’t really use make up a lot but when i do, i start with eyeliner, and i always start especially with my left eye since that’s my weak side. and only once i got that wing down do i do the right, where its easy to copy what i did on the other side. then eyeshadow and mascara, sometimes ill lightly brush out my eyebrows but i dont use anything for them, maybe add some highlighter here and there and only veeeery rarely do i use foundation or anything of the sort. my skin is really sensitive and im bad at it so i try not to do too much lest i look like a clown :<

5. ooh this is a fun one.

mika: when he gets on my lap, stomach, side or back (wherever really) he always starts by mewing at me and making biscuits on me before settling down. his mews remind me of when he was a kitten and it’s so cute

zulu: has a really raspy meow all of a sudden when he really wants something (wet feed or dried fish). it’s super funny and sounds ridiculous and i always end up mocking him

mai: she sucks at meowing. i’m sorry. she has this meow that sounds similar to the oo ee a e a cat 😭🥹 so whenever she does that, i can’t help but laugh and mimic her

baby: his activation noises easily. they’re the best. he’s very dramatic. he does a really long, unnecessarily loud ‘brrrr’

6. favourite photographer AahhhhHHH this is tough i have so many 😭 once again most are equine photographers…🥹

ros fotografie — she is amazing at taking action shots! i was part of the same team for some time and learned a lot just by observing

arnd bronkhorst — it’s hard to link to his portfolio or anything because honestly, he’s a brand name by now and has many photographers work in his name, but he’s one of the reasons why i started photographing in the first place

edo van uchelen — another photographer i am lucky to know personally through horses haha but he is an incredible nature photographer and also an ecologist. he owns a photography hut somewhere nearby that i really wanna rent someday…

nikki de kerf — she got me interested more in fine art photography and she’s been someone i’ve been follow in since the beginning of her career. she has grown so much and i truly wish i can be that good someday too

the pixel nomad — she has a series where she travels around documenting forgotten horse breeds which is something i’ve also been wanting to do haha as a genetics nerd

minh dan vu — similar project and GORGEOUS photo’s. also someone i followed from the start, as we were once measly nerds on the same forum together when she was just starting out 🤓 it’s incredible to see how far she’s come

ruth chamberlain — she does a similar project but focusing on native ponies and wildlife in the UK. though she posts pony pics only on her insta she also does partake in wildlife photography and also conservation projects which is a topic i’m passionate about !!
