Bigby's warnings didn't stick nearly as much as they should've, because the consequences to him still didn't sound as bad as Bigby was making them out to be. It wasn't like he wanted to get hurt, or something like that... but it wouldn't be a bad thing either if something happened to him. Better him than someone else, a thought that was kept private from even Tama.
Tumblr media
"Then I'll do my best to look out for myself. I always do."
"Liar."
'Tama...'
"I don't rush into things blindly. So you really don't need to worry abou- augh!"
He pressed his palm against his left eye socket, wincing from the pain of a sudden electric shock. Tama was having none of this- she hardly waited for him to move his hand before she'd hopped out of his eye socket, landing on his shoulder and angrily poking his cheek.
Tumblr media
"Would you listen to someone else's concern for once?! I've known blocks of lead easier to get through than you!" She turned to Bigby, irritation plain as day on her pupil. "He might not have any sense of self preservation, but that's why he has me."
"T-Tama! Don't just pop out on your own..."
"It's not like I'm a secret here? Don't get upset just because I'm calling you on your bullshit!"
Christ. What was he even supposed to do with this? He was almost, almost tempted to pull out all the stops - to show Ryuki what he was actually dealing with, all the Bigness and Badness of it in hopes of finally hammering it home, but that idea was terrible for numerous reasons. Not only did it mean putting Ryuki and anyone around them in exponentially more danger - and, much less importantly, likely to expose his secret in a more public way - but if Ryuki's sense of self-preservation hadn't kicked in when a snarling predator was in his face, would it really matter if the threat was towering over him instead?
(He's fumbling. He knows it. Bigby has never not been feared, not since he took any kind of name that wasn't Runt or Small One. Even Snow - maybe she hadn't been, when her mind tricked her into seeing a human, or in that first meeting when she'd had nothing to lose, but he'd seen her eyes and he'd smelled her terror in that alleyway, and that hadn't even been his whole self -)
(The point is. It's the way of things, for everything and everyone to be terrified of him. It's just a fact of the world. So for that to not be factor... it's leaving him all kinds of wrong-footed.)
Tumblr media
God, he needed a drink.
"Kid," he said finally, then shook his head - Ryuki was an adult by human standards, and he needed to know Bigby wasn't looking down on him or underestimating him. "No, Ryuki. That's - that's just not how it works. You barely know me. Even if you trust me - which you shouldn't, because apart from the stranger thing I just said and did some shit that should really concern you - you can't just predict the future like that. I can not mean to hurt you, or put you in danger, but still do it. Anyone can, but me - and creatures like me - especially."
"Things can go wrong. There can be accidents. Someone can have one bad day and lose just enough control for people to get seriously hurt, or worse. Especially if that someone is just - physically stronger than you, at baseline. It's not any kind of judgement on your ability to look after yourself, it's just a fact." Although Ryuki has put up some serious warning flags when it comes to that particular ability, and Bigby definitely isn't letting this conversation end without addressing those, either.
"Look." Bigby heaved a sigh. The whole "stay away from me for your own good" routine tended not to work, in his experience, even if what he was saying was entirely fucking sensible - probably because anyone with sense would have known to stay away from him in the first place. It was hardly as though Bigby was the only threat in the city, too; with what he's learned from this conversation, Ryuki sticking around something dangerous that is trying not to hurt him might be the lesser of two evils. But....
Tumblr media
"We can't have a repeat of what almost happened with the flowers." His voice is firm. "Most of that was on me, and I'm going to do my damndest not to make a mistake like that again. But if you're going to be around me, you need to know exactly what you're dealing with. And you need to listen to me if I tell you you can't handle something, or if I tell you I'm losing control, and then you need to look after your own safety first and get the fuck away. If you trust me, for whatever reason - then trust me to do that. And I'll trust you to know what you're doing if you choose to stick around after you have all the facts."

actually, while you're on the topic — i've been thinking about getting into tokusatsu, what's a good entry point?
Like "I want to get into comics," that's a complicated question.
The easiest way to answer it is to just say "Do a little research about what's out there, find something that sounds interesting to you, and just try it out!" I can't really give any recommendations without knowing what it is about tokusatsu that's tempting you to watch.
And it's hard to give recommendations regardless. There's so much of it! For example, I haven't watched a lick of Ultraman, and my only main exposure to Super Sentai was watching Power Rangers as a kid.
If you want to watch some movies, then *gestures wildly at Godzilla*. They go from very serious (the original Gojira) to really goofy (Godzilla vs. Gigan) to everywhere in between (like Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah or Godzilla X Megaguirus).
If you want to watch Kamen Rider, the series I've really loved are Fourze (light and fun), Ryuki (more serious but with plenty of levity), and OOO (the best yaoi boys). The current series, Gavv, is also incredible, but less bingeable since it's still airing. There's no "wrong" series to start with as they're mostly independent stories (The movies are where the most crossover content happens.)
If you want to wade into some of the genre convention space through anime, I really love SSSS.Gridman (12 episodes), SSSS.Dynazenon (12 episodes), and Gridman Universe (movie). The caveat, obviously, is that anime doesn't actually have the namesake special effects that gave the genre its name.
Folks should feel free to drop recs in the commends too.
Good luck with whatever you watch, and I hope you enjoy it!

Question: do you think Ryuki is jealous that Kakuzu got to be with Hidan so intimately?
⎊ Before I answer this question, I'm going to tell you right off the bat that I adore Ryuki lmao. I know other people in the fandom hate him, but I think his character and devotion is quite charming and cute. He's my second favorite lil Jashinist crackhead with a special place in my heart. 🤣
To answer your question, in a romantic sense I do believe that Ryuki would harbor some kind of jealousy towards Kakuzu, but I don't think he would act in a way that is spiteful or overly scornful. I think he would do everything he could to convert him to jashinism and get annoyed when he couldn't. I think his admiration for Hidan is more parasocial rather than outright romance. Ryuki would not know how to handle a romantic relationship (in my opinion), let alone one with Hidan. He probably thinks that dating is completely unnecessary as a Jashinist. So I think Ryuki's jealousy stems from the fact that Kakuzu got to be near or spend time with Hidan at all, intimately or not. He's more annoyed with the fact that he feels like he's the one who truly gets Hidan, but is confused as to why someone who isn't another Jashinist has his attention so much.
Outside of romance, I love to imagine Ryuki in AU settings as Hidan's kid with neurodivergent or autistic quirks. He is a picky eater because he doesn't like certain textures or tastes, and is preferable towards meat but it has to be a certain way, so he is thin. Boy does not know how to make friends and keeps poking roadkill. He stays close to his dad and memorizes all the tithes of jashinism. He's protective of his dad in a kid way, so when Hidan tries to date other people, Ryuki will get in the way or make voodoo dolls of them. He's such a lil pain in the neck but Hidan loves him.

HIIIII ryuki anon here i misread the post!!! srry for that my brain's fried fhdjhsjfhdjs here's a proper request ;w; could i get #2 🥺 with one sir ryuki f keisaiin (cupid parasite)??
No worries anon, I got it! ❤ Your request was such a nice surprise! Let's give Ryuki some love!
[🥺] 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚍 𝚁𝚢𝚞𝚔𝚒 𝚑𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚊 𝚑𝚞𝚐 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚌𝚞𝚝𝚎 𝚑𝚎 𝚒𝚜…

RYUKI:
"I'm home."
You needn't hear Ryuki's greeting as your signal to get up from the couch and go welcome him; you did it as soon as you heard the key turning in the keyhole. This time you even beat Kagura at it. Puppy love is no joke.
Ryuki has not yet fully put his foot inside the house when you pounce at him, giving him a warm welcome-home-hug. He yelps, keeping his hands awkwardly frozen in the air as they're occupied with his personal belongings.
"C-can't you at least wait until I change?"
You shake your head and Ryuki can all but feel your answer on his shoulderblade and he lets out a sigh. He lets you be, knowing that there's no arguing with you and your sudden bursts of affection.
That's when your thoughts trail off to how happy you feel to be able to greet him after work like that, in your shared home. For all the maturity he's fixated on reaching, he's probably unaware of what this moment looks like from the side. He's quite literally your husband coming home tired from work. It makes him seem rather cool, you have to confess. It also makes him seem rather...
Cute...
"What did you just say?"
Oops, did you say it out loud? Either way, you have no regrets as you only squeeze him further. You feel him turning his face to the side - there's a tall mirror there just by the clothes hanger.
"#ff8c8c."
?
You blink in question, and it makes you withdraw a little just to catch a glimpse of Ryuki's face, for answers. When he blurts out a hex code out of nowhere like that he's usually assigning a color to people when he meets them - or perhaps if he's changed his opinion about them - but what's with this random-
You look at him and he's blushing. Hard.
"You made my face go #ff8c8c. I'll...make you pay for that."
The surprise on your own features gradually turns into smugness, as you're rather content with how things turned out. Now you'll just have to tell him he's even cuter than he was thirty seconds ago...

as I play through them again, I have to say the somnia in nirvana initiative are spectacular. I really enjoy the fact that, while the mechanics of each somnia are the same - thus making it easy to figure out how to progress, the actual gameplay experience of each one is unique, and offers deep insight into the character you're psyncing with.
nefarious institute forces you to combine the traits of several "careers" in order to make use of their abilities. among these careers are ethnic groups, reflecting the fact that horadori is a eugenicist who believes that some people are genetically superior to others, and that people's genes make them predisposed to certain careers. if you want to uncover his secrets, you have to find the set of genes which will make you the "perfect being" (which of course includes his genes because he's incredibly conceited), referencing the human experiments he's personally conducted in order to create such a person.
naixatloz's intentions forces you to solve various riddles and inflicts punishing time penalties if you fail to solve them correctly on the first try, forcing you to consider your every move beforehand; this reflects the way shigure conceals information regarding her plans for the nirvana initiative, but she doesn't make them impossible, because she wants to find the one true frayer who will liberate everyone from the simulation she believes they're all living in. the office in her somnium even acts as a hint leading to the secret elevator in its real world counterpart, almost as if she truly sees potential in ryuki as the frayer and that fact is expressed in her subconscious.
nearly interesting takes the form of a quiz show where you have to choose the right answer, sometimes without even knowing what the question is or what the context even is. its place in the story is meant to be perplexing and unnerving, as you have no reason to believe amame is anything other than a normal high school girl, but as you progress, the questions get darker and more disturbing, suggesting that she's been through more than she lets on. her unexplained preference for choosing the right side over the left is perplexing at first glance, but it sets up for a lot of great foreshadowing!
nemesis identified is so fun because it's a parody of pokemon go. of all the somnia in the game, I think this changes up the gameplay style the most dramatically. there are no puzzles to solve; you just have to collect the best kusemon to join your team so that you can defeat the bosses standing in your way. still, as we've psynced with iris multiple times in the first game, it doesn't offer much insight into her character that we didn't already know; she's still the same bubbly teenage girl we've always known, but she maybe plays kusemon go from time to time with disgraced politician and estranged father sejima so? weird.
necessary intervention takes the form of a cooking show, and I think it's incredibly funny that it makes use of the timie mechanic to reduce the amount of time it takes for aiba to train as a chef from one entire year to one second. based on her reaction, you know that she genuinely experienced every excruciating second of that year. the cooking segment itself is mechanically unique, requiring you to press several button sequences in the correct order before time runs out, but I don't think the actual mechanics of this somnium say much about gen, other than that he likes cooking for people, especially amame.
neurotic inception is by far my favorite somnium in the entire game, as it takes the form of a survival horror game where you have to avoid getting experimented on by horadori at all costs. unlike all of the other somnia, there are points where you can not slow down time at all, creating a sense of urgency unlike any other. you know that if you make even one mistake, horadori is going to catch you, and with the timer rapidly counting down, the pressure to make the right decision is immense. it instills a sense of fear in me I don't often experience in games, and despite the identity of the masked woman being unknown to the player at this time, it puts into perspective just how horrible of a man horadori really was. and given the context that this somnium is based on her childhood memories, it's easy to see why she would be deeply terrified of him; which makes it all the more incredible that she would be willing to confront him directly and do whatever it takes to protect the rabbit, even if it means being subjected to extreme physical pain. she clearly loves that rabbit more than anyone else in the world. it's such an emotional roller coaster of a somnium, I can't praise it enough.
I know uchikoshi wasn't the director of this game so I can't be certain of his role in designing the somnia, but they very much feel like something he would do. as hard as he makes it to like his work sometimes, he's very skilled at using gameplay mechanics to tell stories, which is what makes his games so much fun for me to play.

What are your thoughts on the new Date game from the Nintendo Direct? Given that the character was a big inspiration for Kuripa, it must be interesting having a game where he’s the protagonist
//I think you’ve misunderstood some things a little bit.
//First of all, Date was the protagonist of the first Somnium Files game. This is him returning to that role, after the second game; NirvanA Initiative had two MC’s: Mizuki and Ryuki.
//And MIZUKI is the character that I normally liken Kuripa to.
//Ironically, you know how I mentioned I was down in the dumps because I lost respect for someone I looked up to because they started being an asshole? That someone was Mizuki’s VA, Corrina Boettger.
//Among a few other people obviously, but they are the main one.
//However, to answer the question proper, I don’t know if this is a sequel/a third entry in the Somnium Files series, or if it’s a spin-off game that just has Date as the MC again.
//Either way, I am interested, even though I like Mizuki and Ryuki more as main characters. Date is great and has his cool moments, but the problem is he is like almost every other MC from Uchikoshi’s games: Smart, lacking a little common sense, and oftentimes very horny.

Tumblr media
After the scare from Jaden and reassuring Johan that he was fine, he sat staring at the two items. The one from Ryuki and the one from Jaden... Before he allowed himself to sink deeper into his thoughts.
Tumblr media
He sat cross legged in that strange dark room he'd been trapped in during his reign as Supreme King, his friend's faces all around him.. After a moment, memories flashed through them tailored specifically to each friend. Some grainy from the passage of time, and some blurred horribly, tattered, frayed at the edges like a burnt film reel underneath the hot bulb light.
Yubel's hand clutched his shoulder.
"We've never been in harmony."
"... We never will be." Judai responds nonplussed, turning to face Haou who'd had just arrived. His arms crossed.
He watches as Haou moves across the restored space, moving to sit across from him again. "You've chosen the burden of carrying my crimes."
".. and mine." Yubel pipes up. "... Why?"
"... Because now that we're one, your crimes have become mine." Judai answers easily. "That's how that works. Right?"
"... Not exactly." Haou looked bored almost, like he's speaking to a child. And in a sense, Judai guessed, in his eyes he was. He was around during the time of Johan's ancestor. Yubel's original time. "It was your body that did the crimes, not you."
Judai froze. ".. Excuse me..?"
That earned him slap over the head, a yelp escaping his throat. "You heard me. You're being stupid. You never asked Yubel to set up what they did. Nor did you ask me to take over. Now did you?"
Judai opened his mouth then closed it again... They all knew the answer to that question already.
"I want to hear you say it." Haou pressed.
"No I didn't." Judai ground out, brown eyes locked with golden.
"Louder, tell me what you didn't do Judai."
"I DIDN'T KILL MY FRIENDS."
All of the memories in the frames floating around his head froze, still flying, still spinning slowly in a circle... Each now capturing a new bundle of images.
The images of graduation, every single frame filled with a different time, a different memory. Of how much fun they'd had despite his slog through it. How well he was able to mask everything. ... For once he could see his friends weren't just telling him that they'd forgiven him... They had.. maybe not fully but it was enough for them to try and keep in contact.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he sat back to glance at each screen. The resounding click of a picture as each one of them ended.
"..... Go easier on yourself." Yubel finally spoke up. ".. We still need to have a conversation, but for now. Relieve yourself of our sins. You were caught in a horrible situation crafted by my hands to drive you to madness... So I could see Haou again." They chanced a glance at the annoyed tyrant, who rolled his eyes. ".... This was never your burden to bare....."
And with those whispered last few words, he opened his eyes again. Staring down at the bento box in his hands, and the snacks that were left beside him on the bed.
Johan, Sylvia... They were the first two to start telling him that it wasn't his fault outright. ... With just the two of them, it felt as though he were in an echo chamber. Trying to be considerate. He could tell they both had some reservations about what all had happened. Especially Johan.... Not that either would lie, but the three of them were close... So of course they'd try and make him feel better. He just hoped that they didnt sugarcoat their words for his sake. (Which now looking back, he doubted)
Chazz was harder to ignore for the mere fact they'd always butted heads. He was harder to imagine sugarcoating anything. His punches never pulled.
... But he wanted to heal for them. For Johan, Sylvia, Chazz. To better himself so they can stop worrying about his mental state. ... Maybe one day he'll better himself.. For himself. But for now, this was all he could do to move forward. He sighs and opens the bento box, eating the egg with the glazed salmon, after picking up his chopsticks..
.... Because they were worth it...
................. Yeah they were worth bettering himself for........

just recently remembered two other questions i was trying to figure out when i played nirvana initiative and never figured out the answer to:
- what was it that caused ryuki to glitch out like that? two of the four videos did, and the second time a video *didnt* they drew attention to it, plus there was the time at the ferris wheel, when he went to the hospital, and when he saw tokiko when he was looking for kizuna
- what was up with the titles of the painting in the lemniscate lobby?? it sounds like it’s supposed to be a code but i never figured out what i would even do with it to solve it

AINI thoughts: Part 3
Part 1 Part 2
Yesterday I left off at Komeji dying and Amame supposedly coming in contact with the Tearer. I saw someone suggest that Tearer's suit masks his heat signature, so I'll take that as an explanation for now.
Tumblr media
Anyway Chikara sucks again, apparently he took advantage of the power balance to date young Tokiko. I wouldn't be surprised if he experimented on their kid too.
Apparently Naix was gonna have a huge party for her bday, didn't know cultists also went all out for bdays. Her hologram singing "happy birthday" to herself was both creepy and sad. (Also I can't believe even from being the grave she still lectures us on philosophy and religion) Seeing as the glass doll on her desk came back, I expected her also to come back (somehow), and then the jumpscare happened. Weird that Ryuki had a reaction here, but not to Nirvana X video. (Why did he watch it! It's so risky!) Tama, being the MVP, got him to the hospital where he also had an episode unfortunately. There's no way he was gonna stay there, of course. It's cute how he offered her "emotional chocolate" 🥺💖
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course, there's no way Pewter would design her, he's only into men. (Are there male AI-balls?..I wanna see) For now, I choose to believe Hina programmed her until proven otherwise.
Tumblr media
Date, get back there and give her some attention!!
Tumblr media
Okay, so clones are real. That was one of my first thoughts so nice to have a confirmation. Totally would explain parts of the same body being found 6 years apart. But why?
Tumblr media
...so she enjoys being a sub too? Duly noted
Tumblr media
Though she didn't like being submissive to Boss...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're so freaking cute, I can't
And the scene later in the car where she tells him she hates him...kinda like Date told Aiba "I hate you" as a way to tell her he loves her...my heart. Though Tama/Ryuki interactions feel more romantic than Data/Aiba, at least on Tama's side. I saw your blushes, Tama! ...I might ship them now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Date. Date, what did you mean by that.
Tumblr media
I get why people say he's pining for Date but Ryuki, this is not a good time for that!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was unexpected but sweet. Hitomi sees a sick/injured stranger, says "is anyone gonna take care of them" and doesn't wait for an answer. I also like how she gets angry if you tell the masked figure to get up fjkdkd
I didn't say anything about Amame's somnium but it had great creepy atmosphere. Everyone speaking in monotone, Komeji being in the bodybag for the latter half but still acting the same, the videos with Amame that the audience laughs at, the "spot the difference" game with the corpses... Welonz couldn't answer the first question so she'd have this bright glaring red 1 on the screen during Amame's sections, and it would add to the tension as well, because you don't know what you can't see, if there's anything you're missing.
And then the Pokemon somnium is the opposite of that. Just lighthearted and ridiculous (except for the actual Tearer flashbacks).
Tumblr media
He looks so dumb, I love it.
Ryuki said something about how even if So is an ass, he kinda feels bad for the guy that he is portrayed this way. But after seeing So intimidate Iris and then just stand there after she hit her head and had a freaking concussion, I disagree. Even if indirectly, he still hurt her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wanna know why Falco!Date shows up this way in Iris's somnium, even with the spoiler toggle. Have Ryuki seen his face before? He comments on the Saito mask when they first meet in this game... Will have to check.
But anyway, fun somnium. Though the somniums in NI feel more straightforward to me, than in AITSF. I know some people complained about the dream logic because it makes it somniums harder to solve, but it also feels like an essential part of them.
What else did I wanna say... Boss's daughter is adopted? That's surprising. Especially 'cause she never talked about her before but now suddenly talks a lot. You'd think her and Date would bond over that.
I can't believe we got another So Sejima lovechild (though I got spoiled on that). Please, stop this man from having children. Also wasn't he gonna move away at the end of AITSF? What happened to that? Also apparently Boss kusemon can defeat him with the power of blackmail. How fitting.
And also turns out Tama doesn't have access to Ryuki's thoughts since a month ago. Meanwhile poor Aiba had to be exposed to Date's horny thoughts for six years 😔

Virtual Character Tourney - Round 3 - Bracket Delta - 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda below (May contain spoilers!)
Tama propaganda:
Tama is the eyeball of Kuruto Ryuki and investigates dream worlds with him. She's his bi emotional support eye who regularly ties him up to help him with stress relief and loves to affectionately tease him. She laughs at bad jokes and has AE10D1F ("Ryuki" in hexadecimal) in her likes on her profile.
OKAY anyway uhm she's like aiba in that she's a little Ai eyeball that helps you investigate except sadly no animal theme. instead she has a domintrix vibe instead!!!! she is so cool… also ermm she's a lot more. Human than aiba. Not literally/physically like uhh emotionally. I haven't finished aini but like she does look out for your best interest! what a good Ai partner i don't kno
She's voiced by Anairis Quiñones and she's an absolute legend
Failsafe propaganda:
She's so underutilized in the game and I always want more of her. Her programming means she can't not be helpful (she has to answer questions and such) but she can sure snark about it. Becoming a deadpan snarker is how she copes with the loss of her crew. She calls the player character "captain". You can find out what happened to her actual captain and it's really sad. She deserves better!! It wasn't her fault the ship crashed, and she just wanted to help!!

Talking with my friend who got me into the AITSF games and it got brought up that I completely glossed over a murder that had happened during the story except for a bit about a puzzle attached to it, and so I've been reflecting on how I'm feeling/what I think about AINI so far--granted, I don't know how far into the story I am (about 7 hours in, doing Shoma's somnium right now) so it's still possible this is just a prolonged case of Early Game Syndrome but I'm beginning to pin it down
edit: oh god no, it's not 7 hours, it's been 12
And man I really don't want to be that person and constantly be comparing AINI to the og but I don't have a better way of figuring out why I'm not vibing as hard with the former than picking out what worked in the AITSF 1 and why
And the momentary conclusion I've come to is that 1) there is WAY too much happening in the story right now yet very little substance to be offered at this point and 2) they're not doing a good job of emotionally investing me in what's going on
On point 1: there are so many characters. There are SO many new characters. And because there's a plot-important 6 year timeskip I'm aware that a lot of the little breadcrumbs and what foundation they might be laying down in Ryuki's route is to be resolved by what I assume to be Mizuki for the most part in the timeskip, so they're just not... giving me much. At all. They're stretching me so so so thin by constantly switching and trying to feed screentime to the new characters and either giving me nothing that helps me solve the greater mystery or extremely vague pieces that don't fit into anything at the moment and get washed away by the sheer amount of other things happening. I like Gen, and the story so far has indicated that he's important, somehow, but aside from some vague suspicions he's really offered nothing to the overall story/mystery so far. Amame is... there. No clue how she's important, she really is just present for... dialogue? I guess? I personally think Kizuna is about as interesting as limp lettuce, and Lien is also just there for some vague sus, AND they threw her dad in the mix just to make the soup messier. Don't ask me about the masked woman because all she's done at this point is shoot a protagonist and run, and show up at random times to be shady and not answer questions. She's important, the game is beating me over the goddamn head that she's important but how??? Idk. She hasn't given me enough to make me care at this point with everything else going on. Which leads me to--
Point 2: I am not as invested in the murders. AITSF 1 made me care about really getting answers because almost all the victims were connected to Date in some shape or form. Compare to the current victims in AINI, none of them are significantly affiliated with any of the characters. Both the AITSF games are murder mysteries. The difference is that in the og I wanted to solve the mystery on a personal level as well as a general gamer/professional one, whereas in AINI solving the mystery really just feels like my Job. I want to solve the mystery just because it is a mystery to be solved, and that's what I'm supposed to do, not because I really want to.
I don't dislike AINI by any means, it being a murder mystery is in it of itself carrying it, but its scope is different enough for me to feel a lot less towards it

So, I noticed some people have been following this account recently. I don't want to change too much, because I'm not gonna keep it forever, but I thought it might be a good idea to put up an explanation so newcomers don't get confused.
How do I do this.. hmm. Uh, hey there! My name is Alder. I'm the one taking care of Ghetsis's kids while he recovers from an injury. N, Concordia, and Anthea are all with me, and I also have my own kiddo here, Ryuki. He's actually Ghetsis's kid too, but our custody arrangement is pretty new..
Anyway, I know most of you are here because you wanna check in on the Harmonia kids, so I'll do my best to keep updating this thing. I'm pretty new to all this tech stuff, so go easy on me, okay? Haha.
Also, I'm afraid I won't be able to answer any questions about Team Plasma. I'm not affiliated with them, I just used to know Ghetsis back in our college days.

6. favorite Secondary character?
well ok. my favorite secondary rider is Gatack/ Arata Kagami from Kabuto but i'd say hes a deuteragonist. Kaoru Ichijou is also high up there. favorite characters who take more of a secondary role: Akira Date from OOO and Shuichi Kitaoka from Ryuki (shocking)
