"If it's got the original engine, I'll give you double!!" Wannour pleads, laying it on thick with fluttering lashes. "I need a 1954 twin cam, and none of the local chop shops have one-- let alone a whole original to pull from!!" She's practically drooling, just thinking about the carburettor model it's probably got on board. It's going to be hard to shake her off of this thing, nevermind it's not for sale.

Ohh boy. You wouldn't believe how much Alternative Universe I made for her. A few AU I remember is her original Universe - Which she was an AI Android with grey motivation and past, and the setting was in post-apocalyptic world where half of the living creature on earth was dead after some incidents. And I kinda used her as an character in my Harry Potter roleplay (she is a villain-)

I'm also currently working on my own AU with her and König as the character hehe.

For the second AU is kinda dark (?) I never finished the plot and it was inspired by x0o0x song "冥路"

The plot is about a youtuber/influencer that like to visit abandonment place and she went into a rural area to document an old left base even though there's so much rumour about many people get disappear after they visit that building.

I have a rough scenario about this in my note haha, but i guess I'll still change it later

The crumbling ruins of the old military base had long been a subject of rumor and mystery in the remote countryside. Some said it was haunted by ghosts of fallen soldiers. Others claimed a feral beast lurked within, preying on trespassers.

Only the bravest of explorers dared venture through the rusting gates under cover of night. None who entered were ever seen again.

As a streamer, You had made a name for yourself documenting adventures through allegedly haunted locations. When word of the abandoned base reached you, you simply had to investigate. Alone and after sunset, you slipped into the decrepit compound, camera rolling as you narrated in hushed tones.

The first few buildings revealed nothing but dust and debris. As You rounded a dark corner, a figure emerged from the shadows - a tall, broad man in tattered military fatigues, eyeing your camera with a hollow gaze.

"Hello...I didn't expect to find anyone out here. I'm just exploring, I'll be on my way--"

He seized your wrist in an iron grip. Close up, you noticed scars criss-crossing his stubbled face, and something feral in his deadened eyes.

"No one trespasses here. You'll stay." His voice rasped as if disused. Your heart raced, trying to calmly reason with the unstable veteran. But he merely dragged you deeper into the ruins, to a cellar door opening with a rusty squeal.

Down the creaking stairs, You glimpsed your end - a grimy room filled with remnants of those who came before. Your streaming career would end here, in this hell of a madman's making. Unless you could somehow find a way to escape...or turn the tables on your captor

Having lost so much control over life's cruelties, Snow guarded jealously what few joys remained in her tattered grasp.

Seeing peers bond closer stirred resentment's bitter tang, irrational logic insisting such intimacy mocked her inability to let down walls. She masked unease through charming jabs, joking any togetherness risked "stealing" one another from her orbit alone.

Less obvious, loneliness twisted innocent acts into perceived betrayals. If comrades gathered without her, paranoid logic conjured conspiracies against fractured minds too tired to fight shadows alone. Jealousy twisted friendships strained by her own detachment into fresh grudges deepening already cavernous isolation.

But she will still outwardly smiled through turmoil reminding she chose this path herself through walls erected in desperation's bid for survival this far. Envy remained her dirty secret, lest it brand weakness compromising years constructing impenetrable facades of resilience and control leaving none suspecting festering loneliness beneath.

More Sans an the Scientific Witchery Head canons

After so long of continuing the cycle of death and reanimation, Frisk had considered putting an end to things.

Queen Toriel and her newest loyal knight Sans invited Frisk to ‘dinner’ at the castle. Oh, it was a dinner, but it was very obviously a trap. The Queen was not present at the table, having royal business to do elsewhere in the kingdom, leaving Frisk alone with Sans.

Frisk brought with her a bottle of poison that would work on monsters with the intention of contaminating his drink with it. Sans also intended to do the same with hers, but unlike him, she was entirely aware of this.

They would die together. And she was oddly okay with this outcome - it was better than being forced to watch Toriel corrupt him further or live in a world without him, she thought.

However, she couldn’t go through with it. Her heart just wouldn’t allow her to. It was selfish and wrong - she could kill her lover for the good of others and his own, but not for something so selfish as having him to herself in death.

Simultaneously, Sans was facing a similar dilemma.

He couldn’t bring himself to kill the witch, even at the request of His Lady. Even as he hovered over her cup of wine, bottle of poison in hand, every single fiber of his SOUL screamed that it was wrong and begged him to reconsider.

Sans may have been twisted by Toriel, but he was still a skeleton that listened to his SOUL. So for now, for as long as the Queen left them be, the witch was safe.

They ended up having a quiet, but tense dinner alone together.

Long after Frisk has left, long after the evening had turned to late night, Sans was still burdened by the familiar but foreign pangs in his SOUL as he thought of the witch he had allowed to slip through his phalanges once more.

Hello, Jasper!

I've been contemplating the difficulties of compiling local resources in my usual methods, and I was reminded of this project of yours! If I can't find a sufficient resource for all this stuff, I'll make my own as well.

I can easily find resources on flora and fauna in the scientific sense, and while I am lucky for that and use it much in my personal magic, it's harder finding magical resources that don't solely talk about sage (as it grows lots here in the southern cali desert).

Do you have advice for researching local folklore and magic, or for finding resources? I'm not sure if it's an easy question to answer, as our local communities and environments are very different in many ways, but I'm sure anything you have to share is helpful!

When it comes to researching the magical properties of flora, fauna, crystals, and anything else, I have to draw a lot on the UPG of myself and others. I have *possibly thousands* of posts of correspondences saved on my computer, which is then compiled alongside stuff from books and folklore I can find on places like Wikipedia or Academia.edu.

A lot of local folk magic is passed down from person to person. There are a lot of strange rules regarding this passing of information, but some people follow the rules more loosely than others - especially because the rules vary based on place. I recommend just talking to people around you and asking about superstitions, local healers, and stuff like that. People get jumpy when you call it magic or witchcraft.

As for written works, try focusing on historical stuff for your most local area. For me, the best I usually get is the Ozarks, which I'm technically in but barely so.

@serpentandthreads has a Discord server for folk magic practices, so people in there may be able to help and guide you to other sources!

As for the non-local books I use, here's a list. I use these books for correspondences, so be aware that not all are up to par. I'll put an asterisk by the ones I really recommend for information beyond the correspondences.

If you're interested in city-based magic, I recommend City Witchery (Lisa Marie Basile, 2021). These two books can help you get a look at how things adapt and change in different places.

IF Bea truly is from Aster Dell and therefore a blood witch, and maybe they can do “magic” to an extent, this would somewhat fit with her line of “you’re not the only powerful fairy at Alfea” to Bloom when she revealed Aster Dell. Like Bea knows Bloom is powerful from the old fairy magic/dragon flame/changeling stuff but why would she be so powerful so young? She’s been living with Andreas who last I checked was not a fairy super capable of teaching a child magic & Roz has been held captive this entire time.

Pluuuuuus her being this powerful blood witch fairy that Roz hand-picked from Aster Dell and is grooming Bea as her little magic muscle minion to rival Bloom’s dragon flame power. BUT Bea is sharp as a whip and I can see her picking up on what Roz is doing with the brainwashing and grooming & that ultimately lends to her turning on Roz, tapping into even more power as a blood witch and taking her down to have the reign all to herself 😈

I'm in love with the concept of Beatrix as a developing villain in the show. Right now she's an antagonist, but there's a lot of room for redemption. I need Bea to choose not to redeem herself and then choose to get rid of Rosalind for her own benefit. Girlboss!

I also really think the show has to expand on what exactly are blood witches, because if they're just otherworld humans who make sacrifices then I have a lot of questions:

- what is the price of said magic? Every magic has a price

- what fuels it? Is there some divinity that gives them the power? Is it nature? can you find a legal loophole and get the power without the sacrifice? are fairies legal loopholes? what if a blood witch and a fairy have kids? is blood witchery blood related like fairy powers are? can literally anyone tap into blood magic? Can a fairy tap into blood magic? If every magic has a price, what's the price that the fairies are paying? life force? bad consequences in the world? mayhem? how did they loose their wings, was it related to blood magic? is magic "scientifically" explained, since it's tied to bloodlines?

Types of Pantheism

Whether you are new to pantheism or have studied for a while, you may be struggling with understanding the different types of pantheism. As your friendly, neighborhood, pantheist witch, I’m here to try and simplify these philosophical topics to help you ponder and discuss them with ease. 

I find the most important division between pantheists is the concept of universal consciousness as some find this central and others reject it. So we have:

Views of a Sentient Universe

Classical Pantheism These pantheists still believe in a personal, omniscient god (similar to some familiar Christian theologies) but directly equate existence (universe) with god as opposed to an anthropomorphic deity. This can further break down into those who view each and every item in the universe as a piece of god (the many creating the whole) or those who view god as a pervasive connectedness indivisible from reality (the ‘Ground of Being’ see: Paul Tillich).

Panentheism While this god is still personal and omniscient, it is also not directly equated with the universe, but greater than. So the universe resides within god, but god is also more. This is a common theology of those following the writings of Alfred North Whitehead.

I find that Panentheists are typically trying to justify a religious text of some sort, while wanting to hold on to the pervasiveness of divinity in pantheism. But they need that god to somehow exert more power over the universe. In my humble opinion, this adds a level of supernaturalism that most pantheists are trying to get away from, but if it helps Christians or others find a more inclusive view of god, that’s a step in the right direction. 

Bonus “pan-isms”

Additionally, you may find panpsychism or animists in these groups, people who believe that everything has a soul, spirit, or some quality of mind relating to consciousness. You’ll find other pagans tend to find themselves in this group even as polytheists as these beliefs are not equivalent to pantheist ideas. The Fae or belief in fairies, plant spirits, and other magical work is often grouped in here.

Views of a Non-Sentient Universe

Naturalistic (or Scientific) Pantheism Like Classical Pantheists, there can be a view of god as either a pervasive connectedness or individual pieces of a greater whole, but the deity you have at the end of the day is not a personal, sentient being. 

This is the type of pantheism I identify with. I certainly find the concept of god as the ‘ground of being’ as most palatable. This is the core of creation, the fabric of the universe, that spark that emerged to propagate all life. It is not conscious or consciousness, that is a complexity that emerged over time. What’s incredible about that, is that it means we truly are the universe knowing itself as Carl Sagan famously said and I often quote. :) 

When you view every interconnected and you feel that spiritual urge, that sense of mysticism or connectedness to something greater, it does encourage us to be creative ourselves. We write, we sing. We paint... on cave walls and chapel ceilings. We build cathedrals, altars, sacred spaces. Creativity is so deeply tied to the human experience of spirituality throughout all religions and eras. 

For me, I find this most satisfying in the practical magick of kitchen witchery. I’m honoring the earth, the seasons, the elements of life by also infusing my own creativity into that which sustains me and my family. It isn’t a grand ritual. My god doesn’t need those. But a simple, consistent, daily practice of reverence, attention, and creativity. 

You may find pantheism fits your life in a very different practice, but for those of you more witchy minded seekers, that is what this blog is dedicated to. Feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to answer.

Information and Headcanons

This is an info post about the various things affecting the muses of this blog. Headcanons are used to fill in the gaps of information that we have, such as about the Flux Taint, Kim’s amnesia and Lalnable’s past. It is asked that you accept these headcanons as part of this blog and are in no way said to be part of canon. If you do not believe in these headcanons, please don’t yell at me :’) though if you have your own headcanons I’d love to hear them! maybe they’ll become part of this blog ;)

The Flux Taint - The Origins The Flux Taint is a horrific corruption of living things, the physical manifestation of chaotic magic twisting the life of the Overworld. The taint can spread between living things in the form of goo or fibrous taint, from plants and trees visibly decaying to animals and monsters such as sheep and creepers. The taint is created by a Tainted Node, which slowly releases it’s chaos into the living surroundings. (Source)

The Flux Taint - Primary Flux Taint Primary Flux Taint is when the taint spreads to a living creature via a Node. Kim was infected with the taint when she fell into the sphere containing a Tainted Node in Duncan’s castle. Due to her brief exposure, she was not immediately effected, though the taint was able to incubate inside her and come up in physical alterations - the flux taint that has spread over her skin. Over time, it has spread up her arms and even to her face, specifically around one of her eyes, turning the whole thing light purple and appears slightly gooey. Kim has stated that the Taint spreading feels “tingly” and akin to symptoms of the flu. Due to it being a chaotic magic, it can be worsened by strong negative emotions. Kim also states that she has some connection to a Flux “hive mind”, which she calls Mother. When around large expanses of the taint, she goes into a trance, seeming distracted and often gently singing children’s songs, most commonly “Twinkle Twinkle”, despite not knowing the song when she’s away from the taint. This may be due to her infection coming straight from the node.

The Flux Taint - Secondary Flux Taint Secondary Flux Taint is when the taint spreads from a tainted creature to another, usually enhanced by fibrous taint or tainted goo being picked up by the player. Duncan was infected from prolonged exposure to Kim and after exposure of the tainted plantlife around his fluxed castle. Like Primary Flux Taint, it can be worsened by strong negative emotions, shown by when it first spreads to Duncan’s skin after the encounter with his fluxed castle and being accused of being Lalnable Hector. Here, he was very distressed by the state of his castle and by Kim accusing him of having a secret “murder basement”. After this, the flux spread to Duncan, spreading up his arms (though initially being concealed by his gloves), then further up and across his face, turning the irises of his eyes a deep purple. He doesn’t seem to have any connection to the flux “hive mind”, though reportedly does hear voices occasionally. This is up for debate as to whether or not this is because of the flux, as Duncan states that he could hear them back when he was living alone in his castle.

The Flux Taint - Hybrids of the Flux Taint Hybrids of the Flux Taint are those born from the flux and living creatures. Specimen 5 (Echo) is a hybrid, as she was cloned from a flux tainted DNA sample from Kim. She grew with the taint as a physical part of her, though doesn’t seem to be connected to the flux “hive mind” or hear any voices. Her human flesh isn’t effected by the spread of the taint, and it’s possible that she may be able to manipulate other occurrences of the taint, due to her genetic makeup consisting of a lot of the chaotic magic. 

The Curse of the Wolf A coven of witches may perform the Curse of the Wolf to inflict lycanthropy on a player or villager, alternatively if a transformed werewolf that has been granted the ability to spread the curse, sufficiently damages (but does not kill) a victim, the curse may spread to them. It has been reported that appeals to the deity associated with this curse, may be answered with a way to obtain this curse. In Flux Buddies 2.0, Kim resumes her delve into Witchery and curses both Duncan and herself with the Curse of the Wolf. They advance their werewolf abilities by paying tribute to the Wolf Altar to the highest level, allowing them to transform at will between human, wolf, and wolfman forms, along with other abilities. (Source) Previously, while he was still employed at Yoglabs, Lalnable was afflicted with the Curse of the Wolf as one of Xephos’ experiments. However, due to him not being a skilled witch (due to spawning everything in like the cheaty demigod he is) the curse was not fully removed despite the Rite of Remove Curse being performed. Because of this, he occasionally experiences mood swings and behaviours akin to that of a feral wolf around the full moon.

Lalnable’s Past Lalnable used to be a part of YogLabs, creating it alongside his two best friends, Simon (Honeydew) and Lewis (Xephos). However, as their facility grew larger and their actions more ambitious, Xephos started to turn to his friends to use as test subjects, only reacting with his signature line of “don’t worry about it” when everything goes wrong. Lalnable built and created of clones and the respawn machine - which allows players who die to come back to life via uploading their consciousness to a clone and teleporting them back into the world to continue their lives - during this time. The experiments Xephos began to run started to get more harmful and dangerous, leading to Lalnable’s descent into insanity and Xephos revealing that he had run a little experiment with clones of Lalnable to see how different environments would effect them. One was kept close and allowed to pursue scientific developments outside of YogLabs. One was sent to stay with Sjin (after he was unable to keep an eye on Kim) to pursue magical developments and keep an eye on notable people, specifically Rythian, Hannah, Kim and Parvis (and Lyndon, Nilesy’s cat). The last was put into isolation, to pursue both magical and scientific developments, until that experiment was ruined by Kim by allowing him human contact other than the occasional appearance of Xephos and Simon. Enraged, Lalnable basically went on a killing spree, managing to slaughter many testificates before being detained in a glass cage suspended above a void. There, he would be able to plan many things. Escape, revenge, how to get his best friend back, building a voice changer to sound cooler, finding and killing all his clones. Simple things. He was finally able to escape during a containment breach, managing to survive in the wild for long enough to set up a base and discover that one of his clones and Kim had settled not too far away. His plans began to fall into place, though the outcome of them are not what he expected...

Kim’s Amnesia Kim appears to have retrograde amnesia, unable to recall anything before her kidnapping by Strawfingers, Sjin’s evil animated scarecrow. She occasionally remembers very vague things, though so far it’s only that she was an apprentice and needs to find a teacher - her “first” being Sjin, second being Sips, and third and current being Duncan. To this day, she still has no idea what her past was, but at this point she has, very aptly, forgotten about it. In reality, she, like others, used to work in YogLabs. Kim was the assistant and apprentice of Lalnable, pre-insanity. The two would get on as well as she and Duncan do currently, joking and such with each other alongside getting work done. As Lalnable’s mental health deteriorated, Kim began to get increasingly worried to the point where she brought it up with Xephos. He found it cute that she would care about him so much, but didn’t care enough about anyone else by this point to stop his experiments. So, in order to get an easy solution, he erased her memory and threw her out into the outside world and later found and taken in by Strawfingers. Her disappearance didn’t help Lalnable any, only worsening the rate at which his insanity was rising at.

What type of witch am I?

I have no idea. I see labels fly all around the tumblr witch community and I ask myself this question often.

I consider myself a seeker, but a poor one. I acquire things that interest me at the time, but I get distracted and rarely read them. Why do I consider myself a witch at all then? Because it calls to me in a way that no religion ever has, but has demonstrable results. It appeals to my scientific brain, as well as my belief in the inexplicable. I care about it, but as all things are, it's easy to forget as life occurs around me.

I feel that I am an eclectic. I am drawn to Celtic Wicca and traditional witchcraft the most, but these statements only create more questions than they answer however... Celtic Wicca is what got me into witchery to begin with. The edgelord is strong with this one, so instantly the Morrigan leapt out at me as I read about the gods and goddesses. The more I read about her, the more things I felt we had in common and I felt a strong connection as I called on her. I have next to no connection with the God however. In some ways I think I have an issue separating him from the judeo-christian God that I find so oppressive, and find the Goddess comforting. I also don't know if I believe in a core Wiccan tenant, the Threefold Law. It sounds like a nice way to generally tell people to not be jerks, but the concept of Karma (regardless of the packaging) has never worked for me. I just don't see it, and I don't believe we are punished in the next life for the "sins" that we can't even remember. Recently I discovered traditional witchcraft. This is a fascinating concept, I am unsure as to whether you have to be born in it however.

My magickal interests are varied. I would like to learn more about Necromancy but have been finding it hard to track down a decent source. Many Necromancy books are "Satanist" and I have a hard time taking them seriously after that point. Sorry if that ruffled some feathers, but not my cup of tea. I enjoy some of the concepts in Raven Grimassi's "Grimoire of the Thorn Blooded Witch". I have seen quite a large amount of hate for him in this community however, so I am torn. The poison path also calls to me, but I am unsure if I can partake due to a heart defect I was born with.

In the end, I don't know who I am as a witch. If anyone can give me advice or pointers, they would be very welcome. In the meantime, I will continue my journey of self discovery. Part of the reason for the existence of this Tumblr page is to motivate myself to be more active with this, both in my craft and in the witch community! I hope someone out there either finds my journey interesting or sees through my posts a kindred spirit that struggles with the same things they do.

Shaping my Practice - Definitions of my Work

Despite all the various types of witchcraft out there, I’m finding that I don’t really fit into any of them.  The closest things I’ve found is a single description of “Science Witchcraft,” but that doesn’t appear to have much of a defined concept other than “witchcraft following modern scientific understanding.”

So!  I am going to attempt to codify my own structure of what that means for me.  If anyone out in Tumblr sees this and has any idea of what specifically is included under the banner of “scientific witchcraft,” please let me know so I can be better informed, but for me right now...

I will base my practice on evidentiary methods.  If something consistently doesn’t work for me, I won’t keep using it in my practice just because other people use it or it is an accepted element of witchcraft.

I will continuously experiment to broaden my understanding.  I have already experienced things I would have previously dismissed as nonsense.  This means I should question my assumptions further.  I will give everything a fair shot at being effective before setting it aside.  I will also test alternative methods and forms in whatever appears to be working for me, to see if I can’t develop a more simplified or universal application/standard.

I will utilize methods and practices that have scientific backing.  In accordance with my beliefs that witchcraft contains elements which have later been codified into “common” everyday elements by modern science, such as chewed willow bark becoming aspirin tablets or sigils as a variant of self-affirmation therapy, I will not hesitate to go in the opposite direction.  If I can draw from psychiatry, or sociology, or medicine, or chemistry for elements of my craft... so much the better, as they’ve already undergone some level of experimental testing and verification.

I will endeavor to operate under the example of Galileo’s defiance - “And yet it moves.”  Unlike current modern science, I am not submitting my discoveries to journals for publication.  I am not aiming for universal reproducibility.  As such, I will not be bound by orthodoxy.  If it works for me, it works for me.  I will make attempts to learn why, and understand the rules under which it operates... but even if I can’t, I will not deny empirical evidence of something.  It is what it is, no matter what it happens to be.  I suppose this means I’m likely going to be a solo practitioner, but so be it.

I will be respectful of alternative possibilities.  There are no laws, only theories - which can change with newly-discovered evidence.  Just because something doesn’t work for me at this moment doesn’t mean it can’t work for other people, or even me at another point in time.  As such, I will endeavor to be considerate of other practices and their codes of behavior.  Even if I don’t think something exists, it will not harm me to show it proper deference.  Indeed, doing so may even make me feel good - in itself a worthy goal.

I will practice the scientific aim of reduction down to the simplest form.  Gold retains its identifiable nature down to the atom.  Salt retains its identifiable nature down to the molecule.  Science determined that by breaking them down into smaller and smaller forms until they ceased to be what they were.  Correspondingly - I am a busy person, who regardless desires to integrate my practice into my day-to-day life.  As such, I will attempt to reduce complex rituals and practices into the simplest, easiest, most-universal form under which they still produce results.  I believe this will do more for my craft than attempting to find the time and procure the ingredients necessary to perform complex witchery.

I will attempt to understand.  I do not want to merely utilize the end results of my practice for my own positive gain.  I want to learn about it.  What are spirits?  What is divination?  Why does it work?  How does it work?  What does this mean?  I will make attempts to learn the answers to these questions.  I may utilize something’s functionality once I learn of it for as long as it continues functioning, but at the same time I will be experimenting around that knowledge to try and grasp true understanding.

There may possibly be more to come, but for now this seems a reasonable list of goals for my practice.
