For college I decided to redo Anymn of Iremare’s design and make a “professional” level reference for him! It’s quite useful to understand the character. My class and professor also loved him! I am very happy with the fact I managed to make my ‘character design is boring’ prof find what I did cool.

Anymn will get extra references but they’ll be added later like DLC. I hope to start more of these for other characters and finally manage to make small comics with him and his son. (I will also link his artfight reference here because it gives way more information about him.)

I’ve heard that Tumblr likes disgruntled old men adopting small children, so now is a good time to reintroduce my original characters before Artfight!

Anymn is a 500 year old Distorter (this world’s shapeshifter that unfortunately looks like an angel in its natural form) who is about middle aged and has been fed up with the world since he was like 200. His little sidekick is his adopted orphan son Bernard who is a foiya (this world’s fairy). Bernard’s parents were friends of Anymn so when they both slowly died from a plague Anymn was unaffected by, he was left to keep his promise of raising their son. Even though Anymn appears indifferent to the child he is raising he secretly loves him very much. I plan on making a comic series in the future that features Bernard and Anymn as the main characters kinda going thru Bernard’s life while Anymn is forced to witness his own son grow and come to the terms that he will outlive Bernard just like every person in his life has. I also plan on making more art and adding onto the cast here maybe after artfight. Enjoy!
