I fucking love space

This rich galaxy cluster, catalogued as CL0024+17, is allowing astronomers to probe the distribution of dark matter in space. The blue streaks near the center of the image are the smeared images of very distant galaxies that are not part of the cluster. The distant galaxies appear distorted because their light is being bent and magnified by the powerful gravity of CL0024+17, an effect called gravitational lensing. Dark matter cannot be seen because it does not shine or reflect light. Astronomers can only detect its influence by how its gravity affects light. By mapping the distorted light created by gravitational lensing, astronomers can trace how dark matter is distributed in the cluster. While mapping the dark matter, astronomers found a dark-matter ring near the cluster’s center. The ring’s discovery is among the strongest evidence that dark matter exists. The Hubble observations were taken in November 2004 by the Advanced Camera for Surveys.

Ok so first the murder drones lore oversimplified:

The series takes place in Copper-9, an exoplanet owned by the company JCjenson(in spaceeeeeee)

Worker Drones-autonomous robots made to serve humans- inhabited the planet and mined it for resources

Anyways, you’d think that this would be a ‘robots kill all humans then take over the planet’ type pf story, but instead the humans ended wiping themselves out by setting off a catastrophic event that wiped out almost all biological life and turned Copper-9 into a barren frozen wasteland.

Now, since their creators were all dead and they didn’t have to mine anymore, the Worker Drones decided to rebuild society. Great :D

But turns out, (from what were told in ep 1) JCjenson did not like the idea of runaway A.I, and so they created Disassembly drones- nicknamed “Murder Drones”- whose purpose was to…well murder the worker drones. Also they’re sorta vampires. Since they need to drink a drone’s oil to survive and cannot be near exposed sunlight or they’ll get overheated. So that’s fun.

Anyways, the worker drones life now hide inside a series of doors and live in constant fear of their lives. Horrah.

The main protagonist is Uzi, who in short- wants to escape copper-9, accidentally befriends the murder drones which leads to a massacre, ends up getting infected(?) with a weird virus/thing/Eldritch being/whatever the hell the Absolute Solver is, gets traumatized constantly, and also wants to kill all humans in earth(unfortunately for her, humanity’s no more. If we are to trust what Cyn(Primary host of the A.S says)
