i have my ap world exam next thursday. i dont know shit about anything or how to do anything other than mcqs. my teacher did not do anything to prepare us ALL year, and this is my first ap exam. what the fuck do i do.

Community defense is my answer when someone asks what we can do as plebs against trumps fascism. Arm and organize yourself around defending your community in accordance with local laws essentially.

Act within it as you can in your area to “police” and protect your neighbors. If you see an ICE raid report it so people can act accordingly. If someone in random ass cloths tried to kidnap someone ACT as if they are pedophiles or traffickers cause they may be that as we have impersonators trying to kidnap women and children right now. Have plans to evac the most threatened people (LGBTQ, neurodivergent, homeless, or those with mental health issues) to safe areas or assist in them seeking asylum in Europe or Canada.

Noncompliance is also a requirement as officially ICE cannot invade your home or private property without a warrant and police assistance so keep your doors shut and call a lawyer if they come knocking. Same goes with police they need a warrant or probable cause so deny entry unless they have those and call a lawyer.

Arm yourself legally with a firearm (you too liberals) preferably something you are comfortable with or can handle. I recommend the 556/223 rifles like an AR. They are cheap relatively speaking and their recoil is light and easy to control for people not use to shooting a rifle. If that isn’t allowed or not an option there are plenty of pistols offering self defense needs. Train with your weapon and know it inside and out and remember “more sweat = less blood” meaning the more time you train the less you bleed in a fight.

If possible you could also join an org like the SRA (socialist rifle association) who are the based version of the NRA

Ok for anyone currently doing a psychology major or taking psychology classes (Highschool college whatever)- what’s it like?

Cause I’m thinking of majoring in psychology in college- (pre-law)

Buuuuut I don’t know how well I’d do in it- what’s it like? How much science or math or other aspects are in involved??? Is it mostly hands on learning or just texts upon texts upon texts???

Any tips for studying for the AP test?

For AP stats specifically, no (I am in the same hell as you but I have to make up the exam </3), other than the generic 'do practice problems and review terms!' schtick. I will say though, remember the different inference procedures, how to do them on calculator, AND how to do them manually

ie. remember how to get test statistics by hand, as well as be able to derive inference formulas + confidence interval formulas regardless of if you have a calculator (my calculator, for example, does not have certain functions that would make my life easier, so I have to figure out alternates)

For AP exams in general: Watch videos for concepts you don't understand (PLEASE this saved me last year), get a review book if you can and work soooo many practice problems/frqs/practice tests.

Also please start studying like a month before because I guarantee you, there will a part of the course that you will basically have to reteach yourself.

Uhh if you're taking other APs alongside stats (ap bio or ap research particularly!) use them to supplement your studying. AP Bio is good for getting in a bunch of Chi Square GOF test practice lol

One time April joined the football team (school perks or something I forgot-) and wanted to get out of it real bad, but they wouldn't let her unless their team lost? (bonkers by the way??)

So uh, Raph kind of joined the opposition! To help out? It was fun! But I don't know how fair it is to have a mutant ninja warrior on the team... Maybe there's an undercity variant.

Tho wrestling is still beast, I think the big teams could be a nice change from the one on one wrestling.

Fuck it, I'm done with tumblr for awhile. I'm too afraid to interact with people on this site now. It feels like being on Twitter. No one is nice on here anymore, and the majority of rp people block me, and people just argue and fight with each other instead of figuring things out for both parties and agreeing and being nice. The only people I feel comfortable communicating with are @clown-demon, my fandom friends including my friends in the Balan Wonderworld community, and some other people I rp with on this now train wreck of a social media app/website.

For all the people who blocked me without giving a reason why or if anyone dares to spit shit at me or my friends for things that you don't like, get the fuck out of my safe space! My safe space is for the only good people left on Tumblr!

Augus in The Nascent Diplomat is seriously THE therapist I'd need. Like, so bad. Sometimes it really takes a human-eating waterhorse to remind you that you really don't have to be strong all the time. That you also need to take care of yourself and rest both your body and your mind.

Sometimes it really does take an Augus to remind you to look after yourself and that it's okay not to be so strong.

Honestly, a lot of Augus' lessons for Gwyn apply to so many of us, and I really think he's out there advocating for self-care in anyone that's too independent, or working too hard (even though he needs breaks as well!)
