Tonight I am frustrated by the fact that I still have a lot of bias to unlearn when it comes to dealing with students with special needs
(As in, it would be nice if I could be effortlessly good at it, but alas)
#Matt has a life#Shit from work#Part of the problem (on top of like... the usual isms) is also that a) I actually *like* the traditional quiet classroom environment#just because quiet and focus is how I learn things best#also: I have limited time to prepare things like dyslexia friendly resources#I mean fortunately there's some stuff that was premade which I'll be able to modify to get started this year#unfortunately my student who probably needs it the most is not in a class where anything is ready so#more work more time needed and my availability is not moving -_-#(will still try i just don't think it'll be the greatest possible thing)#also wrt kids who probably have adhd but no other support: I have a really hard time figuring out what helps them concentrate#apart from what's actually a distraction#case in point: one time one of my students spent the full hour fiddling with paper#with no improvement that I could see in how much attention they paid to the class#and they said 'this was great I was quiet aren't you happy?'#and I was like 'well I won't lie it's convenient for me but also the goam is to help you focus#not to make things convenient'#anyway I think my main tldr is that whime there are things that exist to help these students#and I'm willing to try them#So far my attempts have felt more like randomly chucking stuff at them#(even if I ask them to tell me if they have techniques that help them already)#than anything really helpful#and I haven't figured out yet how to move past that in order to properly make things more accessible for them#(plus like. the one student who is apparently VERY dyslexic#when I asled if there might be underlying cause to their struggles in my class#strongly denied it. which adds to the difficulties)#anyway I feel like this went a little 'woe is me for dealing with this' so like#sorry about that

At what temperature INDOORS (not outdoor weather) do you start to become noticeably uncomfortable (sweaty, heavy, don't feel like doing anything, etc.) and begin trying to cool off yourself or your environment?
(Like, at what point do you start putting out fans, turning on the AC, getting ice water, etc. because the indoor room temperature has gotten too high for you?)
It's starting to get warmer weather where I live, so I was thinking about it/curious how this might vary :0
(sorry if the celsius conversions aren't entirely accurate, I just used a website to look them up/am not familiar with measuring things that way myself lol)
#polls#tumblr polls#summer#Honestly mine is like... 71F lol.. I would say it starts to get uncomfortable to the point that I'm distracted by it around 74/75F#but even at 71 I am noticably warm and will go try to check what the temperature is and would like turn on the air if I had it or etc.#What i get is just that my skin will be warm?? Like it almost feels like I'm wearing a sweater when I'm not. I just feel this sheet of heat#kind of lingering above my skin even when my arm is bare and has nothing on it. It feels like I'm shrouded. And I get a little flushed and#headacehy feeling. and super lethargic where I don't feel like doing anything or eating or anything else. Like today it was only 73 in my#room earlier and I nearly skipped lunch just to lay on the floor. I just don't feel hungry and I dont feel like moving or thinking#or doing anything really. I would eat food if it was brought to me but I don't desire it anymore the way I do sometimes in the winter.#BUT I'm also super heat sensitive due to health conditions and stuff so. Someone told me a few days ago that 72F is comfortable#for most people lol..??? Which is maybe true. Even though that's the point that I start looking around the room like 'ermm...is anyone#else warm??'. But yeah. I guess my answer would seriously be like... 71 for when I actually start to GET uncomfrotable. But then its like#74/75 at the point that I become soooo deeply uncomfortable that I'm like... I Must Do Something About This NOW. Like sometimes#it could be 71 and I'm just like.. grr.. whatever..and keep doing what I'm doing even though I'm warm. But at like 74F I'm getting up to ge#a fan or something and I'm so warm I can't distract myself from it. So as you can imagine. the summers where it gets like 83F IN my#apartment at night are misserablle.. lol..#I think my ideal spot for indoor temperature is like.. 64 - 68F or so. Though i would ALWAYS rather be cold than hot so. Like I would rathe#have to be in a 52F apartment for 5 months than in a 80F apartment for just one month LOL#Just the thought nearly makes me tear up.. oh imagine it only being 55F indoors... ah..#right now it's 77.5 in my room and I'm not like.. SWEATING. but I just feel the Sheet of warmth over everything and I feel more joint#achey and like I have a fever and this feeling like I can't take a deep enough breath because the air is thick. and I am NOT hungry at all#or maybe even a little nauseated. and I just want to lay down. I've been struggling to focus on any task all day. There's maybe a very very#light mist of sweat only on the underarms but it's not like the type of sweating where your whole body and chest is drenched. So its like#I stay dry and I don't look red or flushed or anything BUT it just makes me feel intensely lethargic and like everything is heavy.#I don't LOOK hot or SEEM warm visibly (like being red and sweaty) but it takes like a Silent Toll on my body or something lol

Wine stains on porcelain
(Alternatively: @katkastrofa and I have created 5 OCs in 3 days and I suffer from chronic “I wanna draw the little guysssssss” disease)
#my art#artists on tumblr#the legend of korra#original characters#I have not figured out a tag system yet so for now this is all they’re getting#their names are liba and abyan and I’m very much obsessed :)#they’re the children of two of our other newest OCs. Himman and Summiya#the latter of whom just happens to be Zaheer’s older sister#but he ran away from home years before these two were born so he most likely isn’t even aware of their existence#I mean. I’m sure he suspects his sisters had children. but that’s the extent of what he knows#anyway#quite a few headcanons came to mind as I was drawing so I’m gonna type them out while I can still function#(haven’t slept for two nights in a row. I’m starting to doubt whether I’m actually alive or not)#Liba is older by about a year but once they grow up a little it’s barely noticeable and people assume they’re twins#over time they stop bothering to correct them because really. they’re so close they might as well be#they were both burn with port wine stain birthmarks on their faces. much to their mother’s dismay#she has a whole perfectionism complex and needed her children to reflect that to maintain the family image#thus they were taught how to hide the marks early on. but the powder makes them constantly sneeze#liba is very self conscious about it bc of what her mother put in her head. Abyan less so bc while he’s expected to be perfect#his future doesn’t depend on his looks. he always tries to comfort his sister whenever she spirals too deep. no matter that she’s older#when no one is around to hear he calls her Lili <3 it annoyed her at first so she dubbed him Yanyan in retaliation#but over time they both grew to love the nicknames and now use them unironically#they’re the ultimate partners in crime. their goal? gaining as much freedom from their mother as possible#and sooner or later they will manage to do so permanently. which will make Summiya fall apart. but that is currently Kat’s domain#speaking of. hi Kat. I know you’ve already seen this in pencil but look! I coloured them!!#the birthmarks were both kinda annoying and rather fun to do. maybe I’ll change them later. I was too tired to look at refs so I improvised#and there’s no detail in clothing since again. 0 energy whatsoever. but once I refine their full body designs I shall go all out#that reminds me I need to go collect my new sketchbook. might do it on the way home from the store#okay I’m getting distracted. is this my very unsubtle way of trying to influence Kat to write that Summiya fic?#maybe. maybe not. you can’t prove anything 😁

i think the best way i can articulate why this episode is my favorite of the whole show so far is that it was so emotionally gratifying i don't even care about the pacing issues
#like there was a scene i thought could have been cut. and i felt like it went a tiny bit too fast in some areas.#i don't actually think fizz and blitz's relationship mending was rushed or forced but ik that's an unpopular opinion.#but like..... i am a WRITER. picking apart narratives and storytelling functions is literally what i do entirely#and it is a very good skill to be able to detach yourself from the technical meta and know when to just... allow yourself to be entertained#not to say you can't ever criticize writing; or the writing of this show specifically; because it CAN struggle#(i think s2e5 had some massive tonal/pacing issues that can't really be overlooked)#but there comes a point at which you can decide to cling to nitpicks and tear the show apart#or just. accept that its a silly low stakes comedy cartoon and focus on how it makes you FEEL instead#again like s2e5 is a good example i feel bc the writing was SO underwhelming that it was actively distracting from the story#but in s2e6 i was so emotionally invested and consistently entertained that i didn't even MIND the rushed scenes or anything#like. im banging pots and pans together does this make any sense. this show is meant to be entertaining first and foremost not#subject to rutheless criticism of the writing and technical development. learn to have fun with it and if its not fun you can leave!!!#mine#helluva boss#helluva boss oops#e: oops

JEALOU$Y. ☆ CALEB.

Doomsday has finally dawned upon Linkon City, though Caleb seems to be the only person truly affected by this catastrophe.
It was all his fault in the grand scheme of things. He hadn’t been clear enough, hadn’t shown the full extent of his feelings for you. But above all, he should have never offered Zayne those measly words of advice.
He should have known that the doctor had ulterior motives. Why else would he have called Caleb up one week ago to ask about you of all people?
It was a mean ploy, truly. Anyone and everyone knows about Caleb’s inability to shut up about you, his sole weakness was being exploited right in front of his eyes and he was none the wiser. The questions seemed harmless then. Posed as genuine curiosity, Caleb would have never been able to decipher the hidden intent behind each word that Zayne spoke into the receiver.
What are her days off? What does she do in her free time? You said that the restaurant around the corner from Akso Hospital was her favorite, yes?
In retrospect, he should have absolutely seen this coming. But then again, nothing could have ever prepared Caleb to hear those four life-altering words slipping from your lips.
“I have a date.”
A record scratches in his brain, forcing him to halt his steps for an abnormally long time before he slowly turns to face you. “You… what?”
Hearing the words repeated in that saccharine tone of yours only added salt to the wound, oddly enough. It physically pained him to ask for more information about your date, though he managed to hide his disdain with that boyish grin of his and a bit of lighthearted teasing.
But inside? That little green monster was stirring, and there was very little he could do to quell it.
Begrudgingly, he managed to get the key details before forcing himself to stow away in his bedroom and… think. Next Thursday. 6 PM. Maltosio Restaurant. With Zayne.
The next week passed by in an agonizingly slow fashion. It was as though each X that marked a passing day was a physical blow to his already aching heart, and those adorable images of the kittens on his calendar (the calendar that you picked out) did very little to help him.
Subtlety was never his strong suit, but then again, desperate times call for desperate measures. And believe Caleb when he says that he is very much desperate.
“Soo…” he’d drawl, leaning over the back of the couch to peer down at you. “I heard there’s a screening of that movie you’ve been wanting to see at the drive-in next Thursday. Wanna come with?”
You perked up like a ball of excitement, and for a moment, Caleb allowed himself to get his hopes up, but your frown quickly dissipated them. “Next Thursday? Oh, no, I can’t make it! I’m going out with Zayne, remember?”
Of course he remembered. That was exactly why he hadn’t let up—not even once—in his attempts to distract you just enough to make you forget all about your dinner plans. He could take you out for a nice dinner too. Say, that’s actually a good idea…
The next day, Caleb tried that one.
“Oh, pip-squeak,” he sang, his airy voice ringing through your apartment as he walked down the hallway. “I got us reservations at the restaurant in Skyhaven that you’ve been itchin’ to check out.”
You perked up, just like you did before. “Really?”
He nodded with a triumphant grin, internally patting himself on the back for his own good idea. “Mm-hmm. Next Thursday. Got us those window seats you wanted too—the ones that overlook the city.”
And once again, your gaze softened, and an all-too-adorable pout tugged at the corners of your mouth. “Oh, Caleb, I’m sorry. I’m busy that day.”
You really are too sweet for your own good. He can’t even blame Zayne for taking an interest in you, he’d be downright shocked if any man with two seeing eyes had the audacity to not think that you were the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen.
Caleb sure does. He always has. He always will.
It wasn’t long before the day of reckoning was upon him. Thursday evening. Sunlight cut through the blinds in the living room, casting golden hues across the vast space. Much to his dismay, the trashy reality television you’d left on the screen did very little to soothe his worries.
He fidgeted with the dog chains you’d gifted him, his thumb brushing along the gift that you had so kindly given him. It was a testament to your bond. A bond that something as trivial as a single evening apart couldn’t tamper with… right?
“Caleb!” Your antsy voice cut through the air, forcing his wandering mind to snap back to reality.
He was up and down the hallway before you could even say another word, pressing a flat hand to your door to nudge it open. It was then that he saw you, all dolled up in your robe with your favorite dresses laid out on your bed.
Your hands grasp onto two of the hangers, holding them up side-by-side to help him get a better look at them. Though, his eyes were noticeably distracted, contorted in an unfamiliar lovesick expression as they pierced into yours. “Quick! Which do you think is cuter?”
Caleb blinks—once, twice, three times—until he forces himself to finally look down at the dress options in your grasp. He’d seen you wear them plenty of times before, and the thought of someone else seeing you in such beautiful fabric nearly made his stomach lurch.
He raises his forearm, leaning against the doorframe as he rubs the back of his neck. “Oh, c’mon, that’s an impossible choice. You’ll look beautiful no matter what you wear.”
It was a typical response, one that you were expecting, though his lack of advice made you hmph as you lost yourself in your thoughts. “Well… I hear polka dots symbolize happiness and stripes symbolize slipping between realms. Pretty interesting stuff, huh?”
“Very interesting,” he says, the corner of his mouth tugging up at the mere sound of your voice. “Is that why you buy so many things in those patterns?”
You quirk an eyebrow, confusion etching into your expression. “Huh? What else do I buy that’s…” It quickly dawns on you, and you can feel heat creep up your neck and reach your face. “You’re a jerk.”
Caleb can’t help but laugh, taking a few steps into the room so that he can properly look at each and every one of the dress options laid out on your bed. “What’s the matter? If I remember correctly, someone was beggin’ me to do her laundry. Somethin’ about the laundry machine being sooo far and your feet hurting sooo bad.”
Huffing and far too flustered for your own good, you shake your head. “Well… well I didn’t realize you were so observant.”
He clicks his tongue, absentmindedly pinching your side as he leans down to rest his chin in the dip of your shoulder. “Tsk. You know I’m always observant when it comes to you. Even if it’s remembering something as trivial as the patterns of your cute little undies.”
You swat him away. “You’re so annoying!”
To that, he can only chuckle, giving your sides a brief squeeze before taking a few steps back. “Alriiight, alright, I’ll leave you alone.” Before exiting the room entirely, he hangs onto the doorframe, giving you a soft smile. “I’m serious though. You’ll look beautiful no matter what you wear.” His lips curve into a smirk. “But if you want my input—you know I’ve always been a sucker for seeing you in florals.”
And with that, he whisks away, silently hoping and praying that this date will fall through on its own. Plopping back down on the couch, his eyes are practically glued to his watch. 5:48 PM. It wouldn’t be long before Zayne would be knocking at the front door—punctual as ever. Oh, it made him sick.
How could he have done this? To you, to himself? Caleb should be ashamed. He should be the one sitting across from you later tonight, holding your hand and listening to you ramble about whatever your heart desires. It should be him. It would have been him if he wasn’t so damn afraid.
But the sound of approaching heels clicking along the hardwood floor quickly snapped him out of his pity party, prompting him to look over his shoulder. And there you were once again, now adorned in a floral sundress that had made him lose his mind more times than he’d like to admit.
Under his breath, he can’t help but mutter, “Yeah, you’re gonna kill me…”
It was his favorite dress of yours, too. You really were trying to kill him. A white dress that was littered with blue flowers, the fabric fit you perfectly, loose and fitted in all of the right places.
Zayne didn’t deserve to see you like this. Plain and simple.
Standing from the couch, he lets out a low, appreciative whistle. “There she is,” he says, taking your hand to spin you around a single time. His smile only widens as he sees yours. “You look gorgeous, just like I knew you would.”
You roll your eyes with a bashful smile, one that he has to physically fight the urge to kiss away. “Oh, you flatter me,” you say through a laugh.
He shakes his head, bringing a hand up to gently smooth down a pesky hair on the top of your head. “Can’t be flattery if I mean every word of it.”
A breeze wafted through the open window, blowing the fabric of your dress ever so slightly. The scent of freshly cut grass and blooming flowers infiltrates the living room, though the scent of your perfume and something that was uniquely you had his full attention.
“Y’know, you can be pretty nice when you want to be,” you say, raising an eyebrow.
Chuckling, he simply nods, his large hands settling on your middle. “Yeah. When I want to be.”
You brush past him, padding over to the back door. Pushing it open, you step out onto the warm concrete patio, breathing in the fresh air that the backyard had to offer you. Spring in Linkon was always a delight, though the warmth that Caleb radiates behind you serves to be the most comforting thing about the entire scene.
His hand comes to rest on the curve of your shoulder, his fingers nimbly pulling at one of the straps of your dress. With his heart rate shooting through the roof, he forces himself to take a moment. He needs to get this right. This may be the last chance he’ll be able to do this.
“I… look, there’s something that I—”
But suddenly, the sound of rapping knuckles at the front door cuts through the tense silence. Both of your attention is drawn to the closed door, and having left the back door open, you both have a clear view of it.
You turn around to face Caleb, offering him a sheepish smile. “That’s probably Zayne.”
He only nods, forcing his hand to fall back to his side. “Yeah, probably.”
This was it. He was losing you. It stung to know that this was no one’s fault apart from his own. His inability to be honest about his feelings, his lack of forwardness with you… what was he expecting? That you’d never date? That he could keep you happy forever without offering you anything more?
It was a stupid fantasy, one that had earned him this spot. But when he saw you turn to leave, your eyes still locked on his, a surge of panic shot up his spine. His eyes flit around—the grass, the flowerbeds, the hose… that was currently filling up the pool…
“Be mad at me later,” he suddenly says.
Your eyebrows shoot up. “Wha— ah!”
Before you could even begin to process what was happening, you were suddenly pushed back into the chamber full of chlorine infested water. Caleb watches with a wry expression as you shoot up from beneath the water, splashing aimlessly as you swim towards the edge.
“What the fuck was that?” you bark, perching one elbow up onto the concrete as you reach the other one out to him. “What the hell are you looking at? Help me out!”
Caleb can’t even protest, not with the incredibly irrational stunt he’d just pulled. “I’m sorry, pip-squeak, I just…” And so, he reaches down, his hand clasping around yours… until you pull him forward with all of your strength and send him tumbling into the pool too.
And when he comes up for air, you splash him the moment he opens his eyes. Serves him right. The chlorine will sting his eyes almost as much as your mascara is stinging yours right now.
With that, you pull yourself out of the pool, a trail of water marking your path as you wring out the fabric of your dress. After that, you disappear inside of the house, leaving Caleb to rub his eyes in utter defeat.
He gives you both a long stretch of alone time before he retreats back into the house like a kicked puppy, his head hanging low as he runs a hand through his wet strands of hair. You’ve evidently told Zayne that today wasn’t going to work anymore, judging by his lack of presence, and that thought alone makes Caleb more happy than he should be.
Sucking in a short breath, he knocks twice at your shut bedroom door. “Honey? It… it’s me.”
“Go away,” you retort without missing a single beat.
Caleb pokes his tongue into his cheek as he leans forward, resting his forehead on the cool surface of your bedroom door. “C’mon. Just… talk to me.”
It doesn’t take long before the door is swung open, revealing an incredibly angry version of you with a freshly cleaned face. He opens his mouth to speak, to apologize, to try and rectify the situation in any way he can, but you beat him to it. Quickly.
“How dare you?” you spit, jabbing your index finger into his chest. “What was that, Caleb? Are we ten years old again? Your method of communication is… is pushing me into the damn pool?”
He sighs, catching your hand to unfold your closed fingers. “You’re right. I’m sorry, I—”
“No!” you cut him off, sticking your other index finger into his chest. “It’s your turn to listen. You’ve been my best friend for as long as I can remember, you’re all I’ve ever known, all I’ve ever wanted. Do you know how it feels to have everything you want dangled in front of you for so many years, and… and just torn away? Time and time again?”
Caleb is rendered speechless, his brows furrowed in both confusion and a sense of odd relief as you unleash all of the thoughts that you’ve kept hidden for so long. He doesn’t bother catching your other hand, instead, he allows you to repeatedly jab at his chest. It hurts, but he can handle it. Just like he can handle the words you’re saying.
“So, you know what? I decided that enough was enough!” you continue, your index finger pressing wildly into the hard planes of his chest. “I wasn’t going to wait around, I wasn’t going to pretend, I was going to move on! And… and I was going to!”
He tilts his head, his amethyst eyes growing fuzzy as he looks down at you. “Was going to?”
You huff, eyes narrowing as you jab your finger into his chest for a final time before turning away from him. “Well, I’m not exactly going on a date anymore, am I?”
Caleb nods, though you can’t see it. He leans against the doorframe, his gaze tracing your silhouette through the soaked fabric of your dress. Sighing, he straightens off the wall, but before he can turn away, you spin around to face him.
“And you know what else?” you huff. “You know the solution to this problem just as well as I do.”
He nods his head with a single jerk of his chin, beckoning you to continue. “Yeah? What’s that?”
You step closer, and for the final time, you stab your finger into his pec. “You need to grow a pair.”
Inhaling deeply, all he can do is smile. It infuriates you and he knows it, but he just can’t help himself. He takes both of your wrists and tugs you forward until your chest presses against his own, one of his hands coming up to cup your cheek.
You’re slowly simmering down, the heat of your outburst dissipating as your skin cooled. With your eyebrows still furrowed, all you can do is look up at him, daring him to speak. To do anything.
“Are you still mad at me?” he asks, brushing a thumb over your bottom lip.
Swallowing thickly, you nod. “A little.”
He slowly nods his head, his fingers curving along your jaw before he cups your chin in between his thumb and forefinger. “Is there anything I can do to help with that?”
You can feel his breath fan along your lips, cool and minty and just about everything you could have ever fantasized about on your own. You part your lips to reply, but this time, Caleb is the one who beats you to it.
“We’re making puddles all over the floor, you know.”
Glancing down, you see the truth in his words. The pool water dripped from your respective clothing and gathered around the two of you, making a wry smile find your lips.
“Oh,” you breathe, “I didn’t even notice.”
“I like to think I’m pretty observant when it comes to you,” he murmurs, smoothing his free hand along your side until it grasps onto the fabric of your dress. “Need some help with this?”
You look up, meeting his gaze once more. “With… with what?”
“Well,” he drawls, his fingertips brushing along your outer thigh as he slowly drags the fabric upward. His movements are hesitant and cautious, his eyes flickering between each of yours. “You’re wet. I’m wet. Maybe we can… help each other dry off.”
Your eyelids falter as they flit between his, your gaze instinctively falling to the plush curve of his bottom lip. “Okay,” you murmur.
A smile tugs at his mouth. “Okay. Arms up.”
Slowly, you lift your arms above your head. His hands work together to slowly push the fabric of your dress up and over your head, letting it slip onto the floor with a wet plop.
His breath is nearly torn from his lungs the moment he sees your bare skin, so beautiful and soft and made to be his. Hesitantly, his fingertips trace the curve of your hips with a sense of reverence.
“Do you need help too?” you ask, your voice breathy from the restrained sense of need that has come over you.
Pausing his exploration of your bare skin, Caleb finds himself nodding, almost immediately lifting his arms over his head. “Please.”
And now, you take the opportunity to do the same. Slowly, you peel his shirt up and over his head, tossing it aimlessly into the laundry hamper near the door. Your gaze traces over the defining lines of his abdomen, your touch doing the same as it trails southward.
His lower stomach tenses up as your fingers brush against the hem of his jeans. He can’t help the way his eyes flutter shut, the way a touch so simple can nearly bring him to his knees. Breathing shakily, he leans down to rest his forehead on yours.
“Careful,” he breathes in warning, his voice taking on a raspy tone.
You almost startle at the unfamiliarity of his voice, though you push your hesitation aside as your thumb brushes over the button of his pants. “But… these are wet too.”
A huff of air leaves his mouth, the sound something between a low laugh and a groan. He forces his eyes open, his stare meeting your own. “Trying to get me naked before our first kiss? I have to say, you’re full of surprises.”
Faltering, your hands fall away from his pants. “You’re right, I… I’m—”
Caleb can’t help but chuckle, taking a hold of your hands to bring them right back to where they were before. This time, he guides your fingers through the motion of unbuttoning his pants. “Kidding,” he whispers against your lips. “Besides… we’re good at multitasking, yeah?”
You’re nodding before you can truly process his words. “Yeah.”
His lips crash onto yours with a groan that omits from deep within, the button of his jeans finally popping open from your ministry. The zipper went next, tugged down along with the fabric entirety until he was left in only his boxers.
His hands roam your curves greedily, eating up every inch of skin that he has deprived himself of for far too long. Your waist, your hips, your thighs—he needs to feel you in any way possible.
And you return his eagerness so well, wrapping your arms around his neck as you draw him in even closer. His hands worked quickly, hoisting you up until your legs wrapped around his waist as he walked the both of you over to your bed.
Laying you down on the mattress, he takes the initiative to deepen the kiss, his tongue swiping along your bottom lip to gain access that you readily give him. He can’t help but moan into your mouth, the sweet taste of your tongue tangling with his own forcing his brain to short circuit in a way he’s never experienced before.
You kissed him like there was no tomorrow, and he was loving every second of it. Your hands fisted into his hair while your lips moved in tandem with his, a soft whimper leaving your mouth as his hands gave your hips a firm squeeze.
His lips trail down your jaw, leaving open-mouthed kisses along your neck and the curve of your shoulder as he uses his grip on your hips to pull you flush against him. A gasp leaves you at the feeling of his erection pressing against your clothes sex, the friction so delicious that it makes butterflies erupt in your stomach.
Caleb is so far gone, kissing his way along your arms, your neck, your sternum, all up until he reaches the valley of your breasts. He wastes very little time there, licking a trail to your nipple before sucking the peak into his mouth. His other hand palms at your other breast, kneading the soft flesh in his palm.
“You’re so beautiful,” he breathes against your skin, his hips rocking forward as he switches sides, latching onto your neglected breast and giving it a hard suck. “So beautiful.”
His descent continues as he mouths at the soft skin of your belly, your hips, your inner thighs. His eyes depart from yours as they settle onto the fabric covering your cunt, and a grin stretches across his face. Polka dots.
You scoff, softly shoving his shoulder. “Don’t even say it.”
Chuckling, he leans in to press a kiss on the damp patch of fabric. “Wasn’t gonna say anything, baby.”
His fingers hook beneath the waistband of your panties, tugging them down your legs and tossing them aimlessly. His lips press feverish kisses to your ankles, your calves, your inner thighs, and eventually, the mound of your pussy.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this,” he whispers into your heat, hiking your legs up and over his shoulders and he pulls your sex closer to his mouth. “So damn worth it.”
A cry leaves you as his tongue delves in deep between your legs, his eyes slipping shut as he lets out an unabashed whimper into your sex. His grip on your thighs only tightens, keeping your legs spread apart as they threaten to press in on his head.
He wouldn’t have that. He couldn’t. He needed to have you in the way that he’s dreamt of for so long, in the way that he’s thought of time and time again as he fucked his own fist to the thought of you. It was filthy, it was lewd, but it was honest.
You tasted better than he could have ever imagined, his tongue eagerly lapping at your inner walls before his lips sealed around your puffy clit, sucking hard enough to make your back bow off the plush mattress.
The stimulation is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, your hands pushing into his hair as your trembling thighs test the strength of his grip. You whine, eyes slipping shut as your head tilts back against the pillows.
“It— it’s too much—”
“Be good,” he finds himself saying, pulling you right back to his mouth as he continues to feast on your pussy like a man starved. “You can take it, baby.” Caleb cracks open his eyes, sucking harshly onto your clit before releasing it with a wet pop. “Go on, pretty girl. Say it.”
You whine, though you hardly have the brain power to say anything else apart from what he’s asked of you. “I… I can take it,” you breathe.
He smiles, pressing a soft kiss to your sensitive pearl before nipping at it. “There you go.”
It doesn’t take much longer for your legs to begin to tremble once more, your body writhing in his grasp as he sets you any way but loose. Your hips buck up, a final resort for reprieve as he works you over the edge.
Caleb redoubled his efforts, spreading your thighs even wider. Soon, the warmth pooling in your lower stomach was far too much to bear, far more intense than anything you had ever experienced before.
“I’m… I’m coming,” you gasp out, hands gripping tightly onto his dark locks of hair.
And when you do, his flattened tongue laps at your honeyed release. He works you through your high, his movements eventually slowing down as the twitching of your hips gradually calms.
He pulls off of you with a wet pop, pressing soft kisses to your swollen clit. “You’re perfect,” he whispers, pressing another peck on your mound before he moves back up your body once more to slot his lips against yours.
You can taste yourself on his tongue, and it only spurs you on further. Your hands grasp onto his shoulders, and in one swift motion, you flip him onto his back. Caleb looks up at you with a starry-eyed expression, but when you straddle his hips and sit in his lap, he has no words of protest. None at all.
“You really are full of surprises,” he says, running his hands along the warm skin of your thighs.
Tugging him free from his boxers, he helps you remove them from his body, leaving you both entirely bare together. He sits up, his back pressing against the headboard as he tugs you closer to him.
“I need you,” he whispers, pressing a longing kiss on your stomach as you shift to straddle him once more. “Please, baby.”
You gaze down at him, your fingers brushing through his hair. “Please what?”
He leans into your touch, his hands settling onto your waist as he pulls you lower, the head of his cock pressing against your pussy. “Make yourself feel good. Please.”
Caleb’s own cheeks were flushed with a rosy hue, both from the embarrassment that his own lack of experience brought upon him and the reality of finally having the love of his life in such an intimate way. His amethyst eyes search your face, as if searching for a permission that he didn’t know how to ask for.
Dipping your head, you press a soft kiss on his lips. Simultaneously, you swivel your hips until the tip of his length catches your entrance. You slowly lower yourself, feeling the way his cock stretches you out, filling you up in a way that only he can.
He smiles at you, cupping your cheek with his hand. Brushing a thumb over your bottom lip, he kisses you gently. “You feel so good,” he whimpers into your mouth, his other hand resting on your hip as you roll your hips in a way that has his breath hitching in his throat. “So fucking perfect.”
Your movements are timid at first, consisting of a slow and meticulous rocking of your hips. His cock stuffed you full, his tip kissing the deepest points of your inner walls with ease, earning a muffled whimper from your mouth that his lips swallowed up eagerly.
Caleb’s hands grasped tightly onto your hips, helping you set a pace that had the both of you losing your mind. He leans backward, his head tilting against the headboard as it slams against the wall with each intense grind of your hips.
“Good girl, give it to me how you like it,” he breathes, eyes cracking open to watch the way you look down at him as you work yourself on his length. “Use me however you need me, baby, there you go.”
Your fingers thread into his hair, pulling him in for a longing kiss. “I… you— you feel so…” you stammer, leaning forward to rest your head on his shoulder as you lose yourself on his cock.
He nods his head in agreement, turning his head to press a kiss on your damp cheek as he gently pets your hair. “I know, I know.”
You lose yourself all together, your legs shaking as you tighten your hold on him. “Caleb!” you moan.
His hips help you the rest of the way, his grip on your hips keeping you firmly planted as he meets your movements with thrusts of his own. “I know it, baby, I’ve got you,” he pants through a smile, guiding you through a few more fleshed out grinds on his lap. “Atta girl, use those hips.”
His arms wrap around you entirely, crushing you against the hard planes of his chest as you slowly ride the both of you through your shared orgasm. In that moment, in your house, in this space that belonged to you and Caleb alone—the two of you became one.
Heavy breathing and hammering heartbeats is all that consumes the two of you for a long while, skin to skin with far too much bliss brewing in your chests for either of you to handle alone.
Huffing softly, Caleb runs a hand up your side. “You okay in there?” he asks, turning his head to pepper soft kisses along your cheek. “C’mon, I need some proof of life.”
You chuckle, shaking your head as you bury your face into the crook of his neck. “Shut up, give me a second.”
He merely smiles, wrapping his arms around your middle once more as he tucks your head beneath his chin. Thirty seconds after finishing and you’re already mean. “There’s my girl.”
Caleb’s hands smooth over the soft planes of your back, giving your hips a soft squeeze as he revels in the feeling of your heartbeat drumming against his own. He can’t help himself from pressing a few kisses on the top of your head, his arms opting to wrap even tighter around you.
“I love—” he cuts himself off, eyes widening dazedly. Would that be too much? A confession of his undying love not long after ruining your date and making love with you for the first time? After a stretch of awkward silence, he kisses your head once more. “I love… cuddling with you. You’re so soft.”
You smile, nuzzling even closer to his chest, your nose brushing against skin. “Mm, I love you too, Caleb.”
His eyes widened, though he knows that communicating his confusion is futile. You knew him so well, too well.
“You do?” he whispers, turning his head just enough to look down at you.
In response to that, you nod. “Mm-hmm. I’ll love you even more if you tell me that you didn’t cancel those dinner reservations.”
Caleb smiles, running a hand over your hair. As if he’d given up his last ditch effort to take you out. “You know I didn’t.”

౨ৎ roommate!sukuna is, deep down, probably the biggest, most lovesick fool you know. he's also a massive pervert. and since he’s utterly shit at actually saying how he feels, he defaults to being a complete fucking creep in ways no normal person ever would.
he likes to stare, for starters. you can feel it whenever you walk past him – his eyes lock onto the curve of your hip, your ass, whatever part of you happens to be passing.
he tracks the sway of your hips like a predator, leaning back against the wall, maybe dragging his tongue over his bottom lip. he's not even subtle about it. if you catch him, his gaze doesn't waver.
"what?" he'll snort, all arrogance. "someone's gotta appreciate the view. consider it a public service." heat flares on your cheeks, but you just shoot him a glare, refusing to give him more reaction than that.
sukuna also likes to test boundaries with your belongings. you always thought it was weird that laundry was the one chore he never bitched about. sometimes, he even offers to do yours, which should’ve been the first red flag.
inevitably, he'll accidentally mix things up, making you sift through his boxers and worn shirts when you’re just trying to find your own stuff. then, later, you’ll find him lounging on the couch, casually inspecting a pair of your underwear you didn't even realize was missing.
"sukuna!" you hiss, snatching them back. his fingers brush yours, a fleeting contact he clearly savors.
"nice pair," he nods, eyes glinting with amusement at your blush. "i like the cartoon mice. don't blush. i'm sure they look great on you. or, off." and no, he doesn't bother mumbling that last part.
he also just happens to be wherever you are in the apartment. convenient for him, annoying as hell for you. if you're cooking, he'll suddenly need something from the cupboard right above your head, pressing his body flush against your back in a half-assed excuse of reaching.
he presses close enough you can feel the unmistakable ridge of him against your lower back through his thin sweats.
jesus, is he hard? you think, trying not to jolt away as he lingers just a second too long. (he probably thinks it's your fault; your ass just feels that good against him.)
more often than not, he pads around the apartment fresh from the shower, wearing nothing but a towel slung dangerously low on his hips. hair damp, ink stark against damp skin, water droplets tracing paths down the hard planes of his chest and abs…
god, those abs. enough to make your brain short-circuit right in the middle of a work zoom call. yes, zoom, because he has zero issues barging into your room half-naked, pretending he absolutely needed something that couldn't possibly be in there.
then, there are the nights you bring guys over. not often, but often enough to wind him up tight. the walls are paper-thin, your room right next to his. hearing you is unavoidable.
sukuna scoffs into his pillow, knuckles white where he grips the sheets. as if that panting loser could make you feel half as good as he could. he grits his teeth, the sounds filtering through the wall – your sounds – a raw torment.
closing his eyes, he forces the image: not that pathetic asshole touching you, but him. his cock sliding deep inside you, feeling that tight clench instead of the friction of his own fist. he imagines those choked whimpers and sharp cries are for him, ripped from your throat by his touch, his length filling you up.
he clenches his jaw, trying to stay quiet even as his hips start an involuntary rhythm against the mattress. fuck that, this is his place too. why should he have to be quiet when you clearly aren't bothering?
slick pre-cum coats his fingers as his eyes squeeze shut. his wrist picks up speed, jerking down his hardening dick, pulling hushed, rough groans past his lips.
it never takes long when it’s the thought of you, even with the distraction of that rat squeaking alongside you. he tries to time it, always tries to match his peak with the crescendo he hears through the wall.
a ragged groan leaves from his throat, followed by your name, broken and low, "oh, fucking hell," thick ropes of heat spurt over his knuckles, coating his lower stomach and thighs in sticky white.
his breathing slowly evens out, chest rising and falling as he tips his head back against the headboard, spent.
and hey, you're definitely not an idiot. sukuna might be, though. as you finally shove the latest disappointment out your door, you allow yourself a faint smile. your pervert roommate isn't nearly as quiet as he thinks he is.
besides, can he really not tell the difference between genuine moans and the over-the-top, fake-as-fuck performance you've been putting on lately?
one of these days, you hope he'll finally get the hint. or just grow a pair and do something about it. if you're going to be living with a creep, you'd rather live with a creep who actually has the balls to make a move.

ONE LAST TIME, R. SUNA

sum. two months into your relationship with your current boyfriend, your ex-fwb finally sends you a voicenote to let you know exactly how he feels about it.
feat. rintaro suna
cw. ex-fwb!suna, cheating, mutual masturbation (kinda lol), jealousy, dirty talk, anal mention, pillow humping, possessiveness, degradation
wc. 1.2k

When you posted your first official pictures of you and your new boyfriend, you had expected Suna to react…negatively. You basically braced for impact the moment you hit post, but all you got from him was an Instagram notification and two texts.
sunarin liked your post.
rin ;)
lmk if you want me to delete our pics. and hmu when you two break up :p
You never bothered replying, initially not sure how to reply, and then forgetting about the texts entirely. The two of you barely have any contact for a few weeks after that, but he's obviously keeping up with your socials; liking every post and viewing every story. It doesn't bother you, but it's weird going cold turkey on your relationship like that. You had expected him to reach out for some sort of closure. You wanted him to.
Halloween swings by in no time, and (much to you boyfriend’s dismay) you dress up as a sexy nurse. You don’t remember much of the night, but you do know that you posted a picture of you and your friends all dressed up on your story before getting blackout drunk.
Your phone dies early on in the night. Your friends take good care of you up until it’s time to bring you back home, and you don’t wake up until the afternoon. You don’t check your phone until a couple hours after that—long after it's been turned on and charged to 100%.
When you finally check it, two particular notifications catch your attention.
sunarin liked your story.
rin ;)
Voice Message
The voice message is 12 minutes long.
You exit your texts immediately, opting to distract yourself by tending to your other notifications. It doesn’t help much. Your mind races, wondering what he was talking about for so long and if it was really so important that he reached out after almost four months of near-silence.
You toss your phone onto your bed, shaking your head. You try to ignore it, cleaning the bathroom and folding the laundry and vacuuming the living room all in an effort to forget about the lengthy recording sitting in your phone.
But it doesn’t take long for the curiosity gnawing at you to win.
You practically run back to your bedroom, grabbing your phone and sitting cross-legged in the middle of the bed. Your fingers move quickly across the screen, hitting play without hesitation.
The first 8 seconds are nearly silent, and you start to wonder if it’s possible that he sent such a long message by mistake.
But then you hear a heavy sigh.
“I like your costume.” His tone is hushed, like he’s telling you a secret. “You look hot.”
There’s another moment of silence, like he’s giving you a chance to change your mind and stop listening.
But then Suna moans and your eyes nearly bulge out of your head.
“You never answered my text, y’know. When I asked if you wanted me to delete our pictures. So, uh, I kept ‘em.”
Oh.
Oh fuck.
“I’m looking at one right now. It’s from last Halloween. When you-“ His breath hitches. “When you went as a Playboy Bunny.”
You remember. Suna dressed as Hugh Hefner and the two of you went to a party together. Then he took you back to his apartment and fucked you while you were still wearing the bunny ears and bowtie.
You’re pretty positive you’re not wearing the bodysuit in the picture he’s looking at.
“I don’t know how much of this night you actually remember, but I can describe the picture for you.”
You tense, anticipation sending goosebumps up your arms.
“You’re kneeling on the ground, looking up at the camera, and you’ve still got those bunny ears on your head.”
This voice message is going in the last direction you thought it would. Is he—?
“You’ve got cum all over your face, baby.” He laughs to himself before continuing. “And you’re sticking your tongue out like a fucking whore.”
Suna takes a ragged breath, a sound you're all too familiar with. It confirms your suspicions—he’s definitely jerking off.
“That was a good night. We had a lot of good nights.” He sounds miffed all of a sudden. “I seriously doubt the boyfriend is fucking you as good as I did.”
You suppress a shiver. A pang of guilt heats your chest at the mention of your boyfriend. You should stop listening. Delete the message. Tell him to delete the pictures and then probably block him.
Or you could let the message keep playing.
Suna inhales sharply, followed by a shaky moan. You swear you can hear the sound of his fist stroking his dick.
“I hope you’re not letting him put it in your ass like you let me. That’s our thing, okay?”
Under different circumstances you would have laughed.
“Fuck,” he hisses. “And I hope you’re not letting him spit in your fucking mouth. Or–shit–doing that thing where you’d suck me off with your head hanging upside down off the bed.” He falters at the end of the sentence, groaning into the phone.
“I’m not gonna–” he interrupts himself, sighing deeply. “I’m not gonna pretend I’ve been happy for you. I miss you.”
You feel hot all over, a heady combination of annoyance and arousal and embarrassment. There’s a dull throbbing between your legs and in the back of your mind you wonder if this is what Suna wanted when he sent the message.
“Just–just let me fuck you one more time. Okay princess? I’ll make it sooo good for you,” he whines. You can hear his hand picking up speed.
“It’s still early. Two months is nothing, it won’t even count as cheating.” You can hear the smirk in his voice. “God, just one last time. Please?”
Without thinking, you grab a pillow and position yourself over it in a straddle. You won’t let him fuck you, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make you come one last time.
“I promise I’ll do that thing you like with my tongue. And you can pick all the positions if you want to.” There’s a tremble in his voice. “Or just lay there. I’ll do all the work.”
You grind into the pillow beneath you, picturing the expression you know he’d be wearing if he were in front of you–batting those dark eyelashes with raised eyebrows, just barely able to control the smug curve of his lips.
Heat pools in your gut and a whimper falls from your lips. Suna keeps talking.
“I know you miss me. You have to. You’re probably touching yourself to this right now.”
You gasp softly and rock your hips faster.
“Such a fucking slut.” You hear the telltale quiver in his voice that tells you he’s getting close. “My fucking slut.”
You moan, his words giving you flashbacks.
“Oh fuck. Fuck, I’m coming,” he rasps, before letting off a series of moans and whimpers that almost make you concede. You grind harder into the pillow beneath you, imagining Suna in his room, chest heaving, talking into the phone and making himself come to pictures of you.
That does it. A tsunami of pleasure washes over you, forcing your body to tense before you go limp, collapsing onto your bed with a shudder.
You and Suna breathe in tandem, both of you catching your breath.
You hear another laugh through the phone. “Damn, that was a lot.” There’s the sound of sheets rustling. “Kinda made a mess, princess.”
He’s silent for another few beats before clearing his throat. “Text me, okay?” he says quietly. “Please.”
The voice message ends.

roommate!choso who constantly brings a new girl over every few weeks. He goes out with his lame friends, partying and drinking, stumbling into the apartment during the middle of the night with a random girl who he ends up fucking. It drives you absolutely nuts. No matter how many times you ask nicely for him to keep it quiet or even maybe go over to her place, he gives you the same apology and fake smile.
And tonight was one of those night. The clock at your bedside table flashes the time
1:47 am
and all you hear is the sound of choso’s bed creaking, the girl letting out the most pornographic moans. “I’m cumming!” She yells and you roll your eyes in annoyance, sitting up in your bed. If you weren’t going to sleep at all, you might as well just sit on your phone and watch YouTube to make the time pass. But even minutes later, they’re still going at it, both of them moaning and whimpering, skin on skin slapping against each other.
It was getting hard to distract yourself and even harder to ignore. You stirred in your spot, letting out a deep sigh. As much as it annoyed you, hearing them two go at like rabbits, you couldn’t help but get turned on. Your mind kept drifting to choso, his chiseled face and body, his voice and siren like eyes. It was hard not to find him attractive.
Your hands found their way into your pants, your fingers finding your clit and gently rubbing. It was so pervy of you to listen and actually get off to it, but what else were you supposed to do? You were tired of listening and complaining to him, and at times you wish it were you. With the way these girls sounded like literal porn stars, it was hard not to wonder what he’d feel like inside of you, or how pretty he looked while eating you out.
Before you know it, you were fully undressed, rocking your hips to the rhythm that choso was going, humping the corner of your pillow. Your hand reached up, groping your tits and pulling at your perky nipples, wishing so badly that it was him instead. “Mmph,” you whimper, bumping your clit against the fabric. Why did this feel so good?
Your skin burns hot, mind running wild with imagination. Oh how badly you wished this pillow could be his face, riding his tongue instead. “Oh, yes,” you shakily breathe, pleasure slowly building inside your core. With each rock of your hips, your pussy grows wetter and wetter. It’s the fact you weren’t even getting off to them, but to choso himself. The noises were drowned out by your own thoughts. “Ah! Ah!”
You bite down on your lower lip, circling your hips into your pillow to put more pressure on your clit. Your brows furrow in pleasure and you can tell youre close, that overwhelming sense of pleasure clouding your senses and making your head foggy. “Fuckk!” You moan, eyes fluttering shut, hands reaching up to tweak your nipples between your fingers. The added pleasure pushes you over the edge. “Oh my god! Nnngh!” Your hips jolt against the pillow as your orgasm overtakes you. Did you really just cum to the thought of your roommate? You couldn’t even be bothered to do deal with that right now. Eyes heavy with sleep, you fall over on your bed, still trying to catch your breath. It only took you a few minutes to fall asleep.
Choso stands there in the kitchen, sipping a cup of coffee when you walk out your bedroom, rubbing your eyes and dragging your feet across the floor. “Someone slept in,” he spoke aloud, catching your attention.
“Shut up. You and whatever girl you brought back were loud last night and I couldn’t sleep!” You shove him out the way, grabbing the orange juice from the fridge.
“Yeah…you were pretty loud last night too. Guess that makes two of us,” he chuckles. With wide eyes, you swiftly turn your head towards him to see he’s already looking at you with a cocky smirk. “Heard you after the girl left. You should really take your own advice and quiet down.” He sips from his coffee.
How long were you going for? It really didn’t seem like that long at all. “Please shut up and forget you heard anything.” You slam the fridge shut, forgetting about your orange juice and walking back to your bedroom.
“If you need help next time, just let me know!” He shouts while you walk away, slamming the door on him.

⍣ ೋ cw: explicit sexual content, neighbors to lovers, fingering, oral sex (f receiving), reader first orgasm, soft dom Han Jisung, emotional vulnerability, praise kink, mention of toxic relationship, slight exhibitionism (thin walls), slight degradation of ex-boyfriend, aftercare, fluff, soft angst (parental neglect), mdni
notes: in which han jisung hears you faking your orgasms through the walls of your apartment--and things spiral from there.
The walls in this building are a joke.
Half an inch of drywall. That’s all that separates his shitty one-bedroom from yours. He’s counted.
It’s not like he meant to know so much about you. He’s not trying to eavesdrop on every late-night argument, every hungover FaceTime call, every time you drag your heavy Econ textbook across the floor.
He just lives here.
And unfortunately, so do you.
Jisung never asked for the proximity. He never asked to know the way your voice rises when you're tipsy or how you only sing when you thinks no one can hear. But he does. He knows. He knows you eat too many frozen waffles and tha tyour microwave beeps twice before you remember to take shit out. He knows the name of your boyfriend, the sound of your laugh when you’re trying too hard, and worse—
The exact pitch of your moans when you’re faking it.
Because you fake it. Every damn time.
And he would know. He’s had the misfortune of being hard at 2AM with your paper-thin walls pressed against his back and that sorry excuse for sex filtering through his second-hand studio monitors like a mockery of porn.
It’s always the same: breathy gasps, your boyfriend’s awkward grunting, the bed springs squeaking like hell, and then—
“Oh my god, yeah, just like that...”
Flat. Perfunctory. The kind of moan that sounds practiced. Rehearsed. Completely unconvincing.
Jisung rolls his eyes and turns the volume up on his mix.
Not because it bothers him. Not because he cares.
It’s just distracting.
He’s got better things to do than think about the pretty girl next door faking orgasms like it’s a part-time job.
Like finish this track. Like land an actual gig. Like figure out how the fuck he’s going to keep affording rent in a city that eats people alive and doesn’t even burp after.
He’s not interested.
He’s not.
Except—
Sometimes he wonders what it would sound like if you meant it.
What you’d sound like if someone took their time. If someone made you come for real, dragged it out of your with fingers in your hair and lips on your neck and the kind of steady, brutal rhythm that doesn’t stop until you’re shaking.
What you’d sound like if it were him.
Jisung curses under his breath and drags his headphones off.
His eyes are dry. His dick’s half-hard. His track’s going nowhere.
Cool.
Maybe he just needs to… do something. Anything. Something mundane. Something that reminds him he’s a functioning adult with a trash bin and a spine and better things to focus on than the soft moans of the girl next door and the way they don’t sound quite right.
He grabs the overstuffed trash bag by the door, ties it with too much force, and makes a beeline for the hallway before he can talk himself out of it.
The fluorescent lights hum. The elevator’s broken again. Everything smells vaguely like burnt toast and someone’s fruity shampoo.
This building is hell.
He loves it.
Jisung drops the bag down the chute, lingers a second too long just to feel the rush of cold air against his face, then heads back.
He’s barely two doors away from home when he sees you.
You’re standing outside your apartment, arms crossed over your chest, loose sweatshirt slipping off one shoulder like it’s been a long night. Your boyfriend—Jason? Jared? Justin?—is leaning in too close, his mouth moving fast. Jisung can’t make out the words, but the tone’s familiar. Sharp. Defensive.
The boyfriend tries to kiss you.
You turn your face away.
Jisung doesn’t mean to stop walking. His feet just… do.
“I said I’m tired,” you mutter.
“Oh, you’re tired?” the guy snaps, way too loud for this dingy little hallway. “You weren’t tired twenty minutes ago when you were riding my dick, were you?”
Jesus.
Jisung should keep walking. Should disappear into his apartment and mind his business like he always does.
But instead, he just—
“Hey.”
His voice comes out cracked around the edges, like it hasn’t been used in a while. Which is accurate. He hasn’t really spoken to anyone in three days. Not unless you count the talking he does into the mic when he’s laying down verses at 3AM.
You both turn to look at him.
Jisung tries to smile.
It’s more of a grimace.
“You, uh…” he clears his throat, glancing at you instead of the walking ego next to you. “You okay?”
You hesitate.
The boyfriend doesn’t.
“Who the fuck are you?”
Jisung shoves his hands deeper into his hoodie pocket. “Neighbor.”
The guy blinks, then laughs. “Oh. So you’re the one blasting that emo SoundCloud shit through the wall every night?”
Jisung winces. A breath stutters out of him like he’s been lightly slapped.
Then he notices it—you wince, too. The tiniest flicker of guilt flashing across your face, so fast he almost misses it.
And yeah. Okay.
That stings more than it should.
“I didn’t say it was shit,”you mumble under your breath, clearly meant only for your own conscience.
“Don’t worry,” Jisung says quickly, forcing a light tone as he scratches the back of his neck. “It’s fine. Totally fair. Some of my stuff is… uh. Kinda dogshit.”
The boyfriend grins like he’s just won something.
“Glad we agree. Thought I was gonna have to explain how sound works to a wannabe DJ.”
Jisung opens his mouth—then closes it again.
Not worth it.
Definitely not worth it.
Except you’re still looking at him. Still standing there with your arms folded tight, sweatshirt slipping down further. And your face—
There’s something in it. Not pity. Not sympathy.
More like… regret.
He hates that it softens him.
The boyfriend, oblivious, barrels on. “Anyway, next time you feel like giving a concert at four in the morning, maybe wait until someone asks.”
“Next time you feel like giving headboard percussion lessons at two,” Jisung mutters, “maybe make sure she actually comes.”
The words leave his mouth before his brain catches up.
Instant silence.
You gasp. Cover it with your hand, like you’re trying not to laugh—or scream.
The boyfriend just stares at him.
“What the fuck did you just say?”
Jisung shrugs, already stepping toward his apartment door. His hands are shaking a little, but he keeps his voice light.
“I mean, the moaning’s impressive. Real Oscar-worthy shit. But you’d think a guy who talks that much would at least know when he’s not doing it right.”
“You little—”
“Hey, man.” Jisung turns back for half a second, nodding at him with a crooked, tired smile. “If I can tell through the wall that she’s faking it, that’s not on her. That’s on you.”
He shuts the door behind him before the guy can even finish winding up his insult.
Click.
Deadbolt.
Silence.
Except for the thundering in his chest.
Jisung exhales hard, forehead thunking against the door. “What the fuck did I just do?”
He sinks down to the floor like his legs have given up. Which, to be fair, they kind of have.
This isn’t him. This isn’t what he does.
He doesn't talk back. Doesn’t mouth off. Doesn’t insert himself into other people’s messy lives—especially not yours. He barely speaks to delivery guys. Half his social life happens through a pop filter.
And yet.
“You’d think a guy who talks that much would at least know when he’s not doing it right.”
God. It was kind of funny.
But still—Jesus.
Jisung scrubs both hands over his face, embarrassment curling in his gut like a hangover.
Across the wall, he hears footsteps. Muffled shouting. The boyfriend’s voice, sharp with wounded ego. And then—
The unmistakable slam of a door.
Silence.
No more voices. No more fake moans. No more anything.
Jisung doesn’t move.
Eventually, when the silence stays long enough to feel safe, he hauls himself up off the floor. Brushes dust from his sweats. Tries not to replay what he said out loud like a greatest hits compilation of shit he absolutely should not have said out loud.
____________________________________________________________________________
He sleeps like shit.
Of course he does.
And when morning comes, it hits in a wave of cheap sunlight and neighborly noise.
He hears your usual routine unfold with near-perfect familiarity: fridge door opening, kettle clicking on, cabinet slam (twice—you always forget which one holds the instant coffee). Muffled cursing. Zipper. Then keys jingling against the lock.
He listens as you step out, lets the door fall shut behind you, and walks down the hall toward the stairs.
Everything is the same.
And none of it is.
Because this time, when you leave, your footsteps pause right outside his door.
Just for a second. A breath.
Then gone.
He groans and pulls the blanket over his face.
The rest of the day moves in its usual haze. Jisung does what he always does: noodles with a half-finished beat, eats instant ramen over the sink, ignores three texts from Chan asking for an update on the mix. His headphones stay around his neck most of the day, never quite getting used.
By sunset, the hallway is quiet again.
The beat he’s working on is shit. He knows it’s shit. He keeps tweaking it anyway.
It’s not even music anymore. Just sound. A bunch of clunky, disjointed loops that won’t glue together no matter how many times he messes with the tempo.
He’s just about to scrap the whole thing when—
Knock knock.
He freezes.
It’s soft. Measured. Hesitant.
He doesn't move right away—just sits there in his desk chair like someone just rang the doorbell in a horror movie. Then he leans back slightly, just far enough to peek over the edge of his laptop.
Another knock.
His heart does something stupid.
He stands. Pads barefoot to the door. Checks the peephole.
Of course it’s you.
You’re standing there in leggings and an oversized hoodie, arms cradling a plastic container like its armor. Your hair's pulled back, face bare. You look—
Small.
Unsure.
You lift one hand and knock again, even softer this time.
He hesitates a second longer, then opens the door.
Not all the way. Just a crack.
Your head jerks up. You blink. “Hi.”
He blinks back. “Uh. Hey.”
You shift your weight. “Can I—uh, are you busy?”
He opens the door a little wider, eyes flicking down to the container you’re holding. “No. I mean. Just… failing at music.”
That gets the faintest smile out of you.
“Right. Yeah. I, um…” You hold out the container. “These are for you.”
He stares. “Cookies?”
“Apology cookies.”
There’s a beat.
Then:
“I didn’t bake them,” You admit. “But I did walk two blocks to the overpriced organic place to get them. So. Effort was made.”
He blinks down at the container again, like it might disappear if he stares hard enough.
“Effort noted,” he mumbles.
You shift again, hugging your arms tighter. “You don’t have to eat them. I just—felt weird not saying thank you. Or sorry. You didn’t have to do what you did last night.”
He rubs the back of his neck. “Yeah, well. Felt weird not saying something. So.”
You stand there in the doorway for a second, both of you clearly unsure of what to do now that the thing you came to say has been said. He should probably invite you in. Or take the cookies. Or smile, or make a joke, or something.
Instead, he clears his throat.
You jump in to fill the silence. “Also, just so we’re clear—I didn’t actually mean the SoundCloud thing. That was… low-hanging fruit.”
He raises an eyebrow. “So you’ve listened?”
That earns him a flush, bright and instant. “Not on purpose.”
“Wow.” He presses a hand to his chest. “What a glowing endorsement.”
“I’m just saying—I wasn’t trying to be a bitch. That wasn’t fair.” Your gaze softens. “Your stuff is good. Better than good, actually. The one with the—uh—strings and that lo-fi beat underneath?”
His eyebrows raise. “Track twelve?”
She nods.
His stomach flips. It’s ridiculous. But that track had been sitting unfinished for weeks, like something he wasn’t sure anyone but him would ever care about. And now she’s standing here—face bare, voice quiet—quoting it back to him like it meant something.
He doesn’t know what to say.
For someone who spends hours arranging syllables and syncopation for fun, it’s laughable how words immediately bail on him when they might actually matter.
“You, uh…” He shifts the container to one hand. “You’ve got a good ear.”
You smile. It’s small. A little sheepish. “I’ve got shit walls.”
That makes him laugh—quiet and surprised.
“I should let you hear more sometime,” he says, before he can talk himself out of it.
You tilt your head. “Yeah?”
“I mean—only if you want to. No pressure. I just thought…”
He trails off, scratching at the seam of his sleeve.
“I’d like that,” You say.
And he doesn’t know what to do with the warmth that blooms in his chest. It’s not huge. It’s not loud. But it’s there—steady and unexpected, curling under his ribs.
“Cool,” he says, voice softer now. “I’ll, uh. Let you know next time I make something new.”
You nod, then shift your weight backward—just enough to start retreating. But not before your eyes flick to his again, briefly, like you want to say something else.
He thinks might.
But all you do is smile—small and real—and take one step back towards your door.
“Goodnight, Han.”
His name on your lips feels like something it shouldn’t. Like a secret.
He nods. “Night.”
And then you turn. Cross the narrow hallway back to your apartment, keys already in hand. you hesitate at the door for half a second—he notices that, because of course he notices that—then slides the key in, disappears inside, and lets the door fall shut behind you with a soft click.
He watches the empty hallway for a beat longer.
He stares at his own door for a moment after he closes it, forehead pressed against the wood like the words you left behind are still floating in the air.
Goodnight, Han.
He hadn’t realized how nice his name could sound until you said it like that.
It echoes in his chest. Warms something that’s been cold for a while.
When he finally moves, it’s slow. He sets the cookies on the kitchen counter, grabs a pen, and flips open the nearest notebook—one he’s barely touched in weeks.
And he writes:
Track idea: starts quiet. Voice sample, maybe hers? Lo-fi beat behind it, soft keys. Let it build. Don’t let it rush. Let it breathe.
He underlines let it breathe three times.
Then he puts his headphones on.
And for the first time in a long time—
The music comes easy.
______________________________________________________________
You never planned on being friends with Han.
The boy next door with the quiet mouth and loud headphones. The recluse who only seemed to exist in studio beats and half-heard melodies through the wall. You knew his name before you knew his face—Han, printed on a mailbox slot too narrow.
Now he nods at you in the hallway. Smiles, even. You’ve learned that they’re rare, his smiles—crooked and shy, like they’re still trying to figure themselves out. You’ve started waiting for them.
Some mornings, you catch him in the elevator, hoodie pulled over messy hair, a takeout coffee in one hand and sleep in his eyes. You say hi. He says hey. He always holds the door for you.
It’s nothing. But it’s not nothing.
And then, one night—it’s something.
It starts with your friend’s voice, high and nervous. “I swear I had your keys. I swear they were just—fuck, okay, check your bag again—”
You’re too drunk to care. Or think. Or stand up straight
Your bag is wide open on the hallway floor, a war zone of receipts, gum wrappers, lip glosses with no caps, and an unopened pack of hot sauce packets you swear you didn’t steal from Taco Bell. Your friend is crouched beside it, frantically digging like she’s searching for buried treasure.
And that’s when the elevator dings.
You don’t even bother turning around. You’re too busy trying to balance one heel on top of a rogue pack of gum like it’s a tightrope.
Your friend, however, freezes. Then straightens sharply, whisper-hissing, “Oh shit—it’s your neighbor.”
You blink. “Which one?”
“The hot one.”
That gets your attention.
You turn—wobble—and there he is: Han. Grocery bag in one hand, hood halfway off, hair a little windblown. His eyes flick from your friend to you, then to the scene at your feet: your life in full chaotic display.
He pauses. Then says, with the softest little blink of disbelief,
“Uh… everything okay?”
You blink right back at him.
Then lean toward your friend—not subtly, not gracefully, and definitely not quietly—and whisper at full volume:
“You’re right, he is hot.”
It echoes.
Down the hall. Into the vents. Probably into the next dimension.
Your friend claps a hand over her mouth.
Han stares at you, frozen mid-step, grocery bag dangling like it no longer belongs to him.
You sway slightly. Flash him a winning, drunken grin. “Hi.”
His ears go pink.
He recovers with a cough and a quiet, “Hey.”
Your friend steps in, trying to salvage the moment. “She, um… lost her keys. And maybe her filter. And maybe also her last three brain cells.”
“I have at least five brain cells,” you argue, eyes still locked on Han like you’ve just spotted the last bottle of tequila on Earth. “Maybe six.”
“Okay,” your friend says sharply, grabbing your arm before you can say anything worse. “She’s drunk. She needs to sleep. You’re right next door. I trust you, I think. Will you—can you—?”
“I’ve got her,” Han says, voice gentle. Too gentle. Like he’s trying not to laugh but also trying not to die of second-hand embaressment.
He steps forward, freeing his hand long enough to steady you when you stumble again. His grip is warm, careful. You immediately lean into it like he’s a weighted blanket.
“Wow,” you murmur. “Strong and polite. A dangerous combo.”
He just smiles—shy and crooked, the way he always does when he doesn’t know where to put his face. “You good to walk?”
“No promises.”
“I’ll take that as a ‘maybe,’” he says, easing your arm over his shoulder.
Your friend sighs, already backing toward the stairs. “If she tries to seduce you, just tell her she cries at Disney movies and once got drunk and tried to fistfight a traffic cone.”
“I won, though,” you shout after her.
Han chuckles.
Your friend throws one last suspicious look over her shoulder, mouthing to Han, text me from her phone if she throws up, before disappearing down the stairwell.
And now it’s just you and Han.
And the heat of your skin pressed to his side.
And the wild, buzzing thought in your brain that you’ve never been this close to him before.
He shifts his weight. Glances down at you.
“You seriously okay?”
You nod. “I feel great.”
“You say that while using me as a crutch.”
“Yeah. But like—a sexy crutch.”
He laughs, head ducking slightly like he’s embarrassed for both of you.
But he doesn’t let go.
And he doesn’t stop smiling.
Han’s arm stays steady around you as he unlocks his door, grocery bag still dangling awkwardly from one wrist. He guides you inside carefully, flicking on the lights with his elbow and nudging the door shut behind you.
You blink, taking it in through a haze: tiny apartment, warm lighting, a bunch of wires and gear by the desk, no couch in sight.
He catches you swaying and steers you toward a plain padded chair by the wall. “Here, sit for a sec.”
You plop down like a ragdoll.
Han crouches in front of you instantly, gently tugging your heels off one at a time like he’s afraid you’ll tip over trying. “You good?” he murmurs, setting your shoes aside neatly. “Anything feel weird? Dizzy?”
You grin at him. “You’re so worried.”
He flushes instantly. “I just—yeah. I mean. You’re really drunk.”
“Yeah, but like, in a fun way.”
“Still,” he mutters, already handing you a bottle of water from the counter. “Drink this. Slowly.”
You take it. “You’re like a… a boyfriend. But like, a really responsible one. Like—tax-paying, call-my-mom-for-me energy.”
Han snorts and gets up, rubbing the back of his neck. “Okay, you’re done talking now.”
“I’m not!” you call after him as he sets the grocery bag down. “I’m very interesting!”
He just shakes his head, trying (and failing) to hide his smile.
When you blink again, he’s in front of you, holding out a hand. “C’mon. Bed’s this way.”
You pause. “You only have one bed.”
His ears go pink. “You can take it.”
You squint. “Where are you gonna sleep?”
He shrugs, awkward. “Floor. I’ve got blankets.”
“That’s tragic.”
“I’ve survived worse.”
You pout but don’t argue as he pulls you gently to your feet again. You’re warm, wobbly, still clutching the water bottle like a security blanket, and when he steers you toward the bed, you barely resist at all.
He helps you sit, then hands you a second pillow and adjusts the blanket like he’s not trying to combust over how soft you look there. He’s halfway to standing up again when you tug the edge of the blanket higher and murmur:
“Thanks, Han.”
He’s still standing near the edge of the bed, half in the dark, blinking at you like you’ve just short-circuited every single brain cell in his head.
His voice is a little uneven when he says, “Y-Yeah. Yeah, of course.”
You smile at him, all cozy and soft, limbs draped across his sheets like you belong there.
He doesn’t even know where to put his hands.
“I, uh—” He scratches at the back of his neck. “I still have a bit of work to do. Just mixing something. I’ll, um. Be over here.”
You blink up at him. “What kinda work?”
“Music stuff.” His voice cracks a little, and he clears his throat immediately. “I won’t bother you. You can—yeah, you can just pass out. All good.”
“You don’t mind me on your bed?”
Han stares at you for a second too long.
Then jerks his gaze away. “No. I—I mean. No, definitely not. Like, at all.”
He fumbles over to his desk, nearly knocking over a pair of headphones, and drops into the chair like his legs have forgotten how to bend properly.
You snuggle deeper into the mattress, dragging the blanket over your legs with a dramatic sigh. “This is comfy. You have good taste in sheets.”
“Thanks,” he mutters, clicking around on his laptop even though the track’s already loaded.
You giggle.
He pretends not to notice.
You don’t see it—but his eyes flick to you constantly. Quick little glances when you shift, or sigh, or tuck your face into the pillow like it’s your new favorite thing. He can’t not look.
You yawn, cheek squished into his pillow. “You smell nice.”
He makes a sound that’s somewhere between a cough and a quiet plea for mercy. “You should, uh. Try to sleep.”
“Mhm.”
You don’t move.
Just keep lying there. All sweet and sleepy and tangled up in his blankets, on his bed, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
And even though he should be focusing—he really, really should—
Han can’t stop smiling.
He turns back to his screen and presses play, the familiar beat fills his headphones, looping low and steady.
It’s not done—not even close. The layers are uneven, the bass too soft, the melody still fighting to find its place. But it’s something. And tonight, it’s the only thing keeping his hands busy while his mind refuses to stop thinking about you in his bed.
You’re quiet for a while.
He thinks maybe you’ve finally fallen asleep. You haven’t said anything in minutes, and your breathing’s slow, almost even. He lets himself glance over his shoulder.
You’re still awake.
Eyes open. Watching him.
You shift slightly under the blanket, cheek still pressed into his pillow. Your voice is soft, drowsy. “Can I hear it?”
He blinks. “What?”
“The track you’re working on,” you murmur. “Can I listen?”
Han’s heart does a somersault. Or maybe a backflip. Hard to tell through the static in his chest.
He turns fully in his chair. “Now?”
You nod, slow and lazy. “You promised. You said I could listen next time you made something new.”
Right. He had said that.
But not this one.
Not track twelve.
He fidgets with the headphone wire. “It’s not that one.”
You blink at him, confused.
“The one with the lo-fi strings,” he explains, voice quieter now. “Track twelve. I still haven’t finished it.”
“Oh.”
You don’t sound disappointed. Just curious.
He rubs a hand over his face, then offers a crooked little smile. “But you can hear this one. If you want.”
You nod again, eyes fluttering half-shut like the night is finally catching up to you.
He hesitates.
Then gently unplugs the headphones from the jack, letting the soft sound of the track fill the room.
It’s quiet. Dreamy. Bare bones but beautiful—slow, pulsing synth layered under a simple piano loop. There’s a vocal sample buried under the mix, something wordless and airy, like a breath that never ends.
You close your eyes fully this time, listening.
And Han watches you—watches the way your body relaxes into the sound, how your lips part just slightly, like the music is pulling something from you even in sleep.
He turns back to the screen, fingers hovering over the trackpad.
You speak again, barely above a whisper.
“It’s sad,” you murmur.
He doesn’t answer.
“Not in a bad way,” you add quickly. “Just… it sounds like it’s missing something. Like it’s looking for something.”
Han swallows.
Yeah.
That’s exactly what it is.
He stares at the waveform on his screen and says, very softly, “I think it’s trying to say something I don’t know how to say yet.”
You don’t reply. Not right away.
When you do, your voice is already trailing off into sleep. “You don’t have to say it. It’s already in the music.”
And then you're still.
Breathing even. Eyes shut.
Han doesn’t move for a long time.
Just sits in the soft blue glow of his screen, heartbeat slowing down to match yours, wondering how the hell he’s supposed to finish a song when the thing it’s missing is falling asleep five feet away.
______________________________________________________________
It’s been months since that first night.
Since the couchless sleepover, since the drunken key fiasco, since you fell asleep to the sound of his unfinished song.
And in that time, Han has come out of his shell in the slowest, sweetest way possible.
At first, he was shy. Still the hoodie-wearing recluse with his eyes glued to Ableton and his words tucked somewhere behind clenched teeth.
But then he started showing up more. At your door with takeout. With headphones and half-finished demos. With quiet, tentative smiles that stretched wider the more you smiled back.
You got to know him.
He told you about Malaysia—about sticky summers and midnight noodles and the way his parents still call twice a week even though they’re oceans apart. He told you how he moved to Korea for college, studied for a year, and then dropped out when he realized his brain was wired for sound, not textbooks.
You told him about your life, too—your parents and their ever-shifting conditions for love, the apartment they still pay for, the degree you’re grinding out just to prove something. To who, you’re not even sure.
And Han—turns out he’s kind of a chatterbox. Once he’s comfortable, the boy talks. About anything. About everything. With his hands, with his whole face. About samples and synths and the absolute travesty that is powdered parmesan.
Now, it’s like this: casual, constant, inevitable.
You crash at his place sometimes—not because you're locked out, but just because. Sometimes you bring your laptop and do homework on his floor. Sometimes you nap in his bed while he works. You keep a toothbrush there now. A hoodie of his has quietly migrated to your closet.
You even invited him to your graduation this spring. “It’s not like my parents are coming,” you’d shrugged, and Han had just blinked at you, then said okay, like it wasn’t the biggest fucking deal.
He still blushes when you call him hot. Still won’t take the bed when you stay over. Still treats you like you might disappear if he lets himself want too much.
And today, you’re at your place—your couch this time, legs tangled together on either end, killing time the way only two people who are too comfortable with each other can.
Lazy game of truth or dare. No real stakes. Just soft laughter and shared snacks and the kind of questions that teeter between teasing and tender.
Han’s fingers are brushing against your ankle, casual and unthinking. The popcorn bowl is somewhere on the floor, long forgotten. You’re both half-reclined, cozy and loose, a tangle of limbs and friendship that’s been threatening to become something else for weeks now.
You’ve already dared him to do his worst celebrity impression, and he’d made you sing a jingle from one of your old childhood commercials. The kind of dumb, lazy game that only works when you trust someone enough not to twist the blade when things get close.
Now it’s his turn.
“Truth,” you say, yawning, stretching like a cat in the sun. “I’m feeling vulnerable.”
He gives you a look. One brow raised, fingers tapping thoughtfully against his thigh. “Okay. What was your best orgasm?”
You blink.
Then laugh.
He flushes instantly. “Shit—was that too far? I thought we were in the spicy round.”
“No, no,” you say, waving a hand, trying to keep your smile light. “It’s fair.”
But you don’t answer right away.
You sit there for a second, fiddling with the hem of your oversized sleep shirt. His question settles somewhere low in your stomach—not uncomfortable, just… exposed. Like a truth you’ve learned to laugh off before anyone can look too closely.
You glance at him, then say it—half-teasing, like a joke you’ve told a few times before.
“I wouldn’t know.”
Han blinks. “You wouldn’t—?”
You shrug. “Never had one. Not a good one. Not any, actually.”
There’s a pause. His brows lift, lips parting slightly, but you beat him to it with a raised hand and a crooked grin.
“I know, I know. Tragic. I’m either defective or cursed. It’s a toss-up.”
He doesn’t laugh.
You thought he might—just to lighten the mood. Maybe roll with the joke, keep it casual.
But Han’s expression softens instead. Slowly. Like he’s putting something together.
But Han’s expression softens instead. Slowly. Like he’s putting something together.
“That’s not funny,” he says, voice quiet. Barely a wrinkle of sound between you.
You blink. “It’s kind of funny.”
“No, it’s not.” He leans in a little, eyes searching yours. “And it’s definitely not true.”
You hold his gaze for a beat longer than you mean to. “Tell that to every guy I’ve slept with.”
He doesn’t smile. Doesn’t flinch. Just says, soft but certain, “They don’t count.”
Something in your chest pulls tight.
You sit back, let out a soft exhale through your nose. Try again, lighter this time. “I mean, at some point, you start to wonder if it’s just you, right? Like maybe I missed a biological memo.”
“You didn’t,” he says, firm now. “You just haven’t been with someone who cared enough to figure you out.”
You snort softly, eyes dropping to his lips before flicking back up. “What, and you do?”
His breath catches, just slightly. But he doesn’t flinch.
“Yeah,” he says. Simple. Sure. “I do.”
You go quiet.
It’s not the answer that surprises you—it’s how steady he is when he says it. Like it’s not even a question in his mind. Like he’s already imagined it, already decided what he’d do if you ever let him.
That steadiness makes your throat go tight.
“Okay,” you say, voice quiet. “Then what would you do?”
Han shifts slightly, eyes locked on yours, his expression unreadable. Focused.
“I’d start slow,” he says, and it doesn’t sound like a line—it sounds like a plan. “Let you get used to being touched in a way that’s not… performative.”
You blink.
He leans in, just a little. Not close enough to touch. Not yet.
“I’d watch your face,” he continues, softer now, “and actually pay attention. I’d figure out what makes you squirm. What makes your breath catch. What makes you ask for more.”
Your pulse thrums at your throat, hot and sharp.
“I’d talk to you,” he murmurs. “Tell you what I’m doing. Tell you how fucking good you look while I’m doing it. Make sure you know every second that it’s about you.”
Your pulse thrums at your throat, hot and sharp.
You don’t say anything. You can’t.
Because Han is looking at you like he already has you spread out in his mind. Like he’s memorizing every microreaction, storing them away like he might need them later. Like he’s already tasting the sound you’ll make when he finally breaks you open.
Your voice comes out low. Barely there.
“That’s a lot of attention for one orgasm.”
Han’s mouth twitches. Not a smile. Not quite yet.
“I’m not aiming for one.”
You feel it in your chest—in your spine—the way his voice sinks into you. Low. Purposeful. Like he’s already in your skin, like the words themselves are a touch.
You can’t breathe.
He’s so close now, and still—still—not touching you. He could. He should. Your body is already leaning into the heat of him, legs still curled beneath you, the hem of your sleep shirt brushing high on your thighs. But he doesn’t move.
“Have you… done this before?”
He blinks. “Made someone come?”
You nod, quick, almost shy.
“Yeah.” His mouth lifts at one corner. “Why?”
You hesitate, eyes flicking over his face. “I… thought you were a virgin.”
Han blinks. Then he laughs—a soft, breathy thing that curls low in his throat.
“Wow,” he murmurs, rubbing the back of his neck, his cheeks already going red. “That’s, uh… new.”
You’re not teasing anymore. Not really. Not with the way your eyes keep flicking over him—his mouth, his hands, the pink creeping up the slope of his neck. Not with how you’re sitting up straighter, how your thighs squeeze just slightly together without meaning to.
He notices.
And it flusters him, of course it does—he’s Han, after all. All nervous energy and soft-spoken charm. But there’s something else underneath it too. Something steady. Something you didn’t see before.
“You really think I’ve spent this much time listening to you fake it through the walls and didn’t fantasize about doing it better?”
Your breath catches. Hard.
His gaze doesn’t drop. Doesn’t falter.
And suddenly, you’re seeing him for what he is—really seeing him.
The slightly older boy next door. The dropout with big hands and bigger dreams. The quiet music producer who hides behind humor but notices everything. The same Han who always opened his door, always gave you the bed, always walked on the street side of the sidewalk—but now you realize he’s been wanting you the whole time.
And you missed it.
You look at him now—and you feel it.
The shift.
Because he’s still Han. Still hoodie-clad and sweet and overly cautious.
But he’s also a man.
And god, it’s hitting you all at once.
The way his eyes haven’t left your mouth. The way he says things like I’m not aiming for one with such quiet, devastating confidence. The way he can be so careful with you and still make your skin burn like he’s already touched you everywhere.
You swallow hard.
“So,” you murmur, voice dipping low, “you’ve done this before.”
His fingers twitch where they rest against his thigh. “Yeah.”
“How many girls?”
He blushes harder at that. Clears his throat. “I mean, not a lot.”
You raise an eyebrow.
“I’m not—” he fumbles, flustered now, voice high-pitched with embarrassment, “—like, I’m not some sex god, okay?”
You giggle. Can’t help it.
He glares, weakly. “Don’t look at me like that.”
You lean in. Let your voice soften. “Like what?”
He shifts under your gaze, eyes flicking down again before returning to yours. “Like you’re surprised.”
“I am,” you whisper.
And you are.
Surprised by the heat in your belly. Surprised by the tension in his jaw, the way he’s not looking away now. Surprised by the fact that the Han you thought you knew—the one who panicked over burnt rice and once apologized to a houseplant—is sitting in front of you, cheeks flushed, voice low, practically thrumming with restraint.
And the restraint is unraveling. You can see it. You can feel it.
His hand is still resting on his thigh. Tense. Useless.
You want it on you.
He must know, must feel the shift in the air, because he breathes out through his nose—shaky, controlled—and finally moves.
Not to kiss you.
Not yet.
Just slides closer, knees brushing yours. Hands braced on either side of your thighs like he’s holding himself back from climbing into your lap. Like if he gets too close, he won’t be able to stop.
His voice is soft when it comes. Careful.
“I don’t wanna mess this up.”
You blink. “What?”
“This,” he says, eyes darting between yours. “You. Us.”
Your heart kicks.
“I’m serious,” he adds. “If you want me to stop, I will. Even if I’ve already started. Even if you change your mind in the middle. I need you to know that.”
You just look at him.
At his flushed cheeks, his trembling fingers gripping the couch cushion, the way his eyes won’t stay still—darting to your mouth, your thighs, your eyes again.
You don’t know how to say what’s clawing up your throat. Don’t know how to explain that you’ve never felt like this. Like you could fall apart and not have to put yourself back together alone.
So instead, you reach for him.
You thread your fingers through his, bring his hand to your thigh—bare skin under the edge of your sleep shirt—and press it there, warm and waiting.
His breath stutters.
“Okay,” you whisper.
His breath stutters.
That’s all it takes.
His fingers flex against your thigh—just a twitch, nothing urgent. But the heat of them sinks in deep. You can feel how careful he’s being, how tightly he’s holding the leash on himself, like he doesn’t trust what’ll happen if he moves too fast.
You tilt your hips slightly. Just enough.
He moves.
Slides his hand higher, beneath the hem of your sleep shirt. Knuckles grazing soft skin, the inside of your thigh, and you’re already trembling. The anticipation is thick—so much thicker than anything that’s come before it. Your body’s aching and he hasn’t even touched you where you need it yet.
Han breathes out slowly. You can hear the effort it takes not to rush.
His fingers reach your panties.
They’re soaked. Clinging to you. And he makes a sound in the back of his throat when he feels it—somewhere between a sigh and a groan, like it’s hurting him, how wet you already are.
“You’re shaking,” he whispers.
“I’m trying not to.”
“You don’t have to,” he says, and leans in to kiss the corner of your mouth. “You can just let me take care of it.”
And you do.
You sink into the cushions and let his hand keep climbing. Let it trail over skin that’s already too hot, too tight, too aware. The hem of your shirt rides up over your hips as he moves, exposing soft skin and damp fabric.
He touches you through your panties first. Just a single stroke—up and down, slow, deliberate.
You jolt.
Your thighs twitch. Your hips tilt into his hand before you even mean to.
His fingers are steady. Gentle. No fumbling, no testing limits just to say he did. He strokes over the soaked cotton with maddening patience, slow enough that your body’s buzzing before he even slides them aside.
He strokes over the soaked cotton with maddening patience, slow enough that your body’s buzzing before he even slides them aside.
When he does, it’s with a breathless little sound—almost like awe.
“Fuck,” he murmurs, voice low and tight. “You’re so wet already.”
You shiver.
He doesn’t ask permission again. He doesn’t need to. Your legs fall open on instinct, your body already offering itself up like it’s been waiting for this. For him.
He dips his fingers into you with quiet care—just the first two, slow and unhurried, and it’s so much. Not just the stretch, not just the slick slide of it—it’s the way he groans like he can feel how good you feel around him. Like your body is turning him on just by existing.
“Holy shit,” he breathes. “How has no one made you cum?”
You whimper.
“Seriously,” he says, fingers curling slightly inside you, rubbing against that spot that makes your toes curl. “You’ve got the prettiest fucking pussy I’ve ever seen. Wet and warm and just—fuck, baby.”
Your hips jolt when he says it—baby—and he notices. His mouth quirks.
“Yeah,” he murmurs, watching your face like it’s giving him instructions. “You like that. Being talked to while I fuck you with my fingers?”
You moan—helpless, high-pitched—and your hand shoots down to grab his wrist.
He stills immediately. “Too much?”
You shake your head. Or maybe you nod. You don’t even know anymore—your brain’s barely holding on, your body dragging you under, soaking up everything he gives like it’s the first drop of water in a drought.
He watches your reaction like it’s gospel. Like every twitch and gasp is holy.
“Thought so,” he says, and starts to move again—slow, controlled pumps of his fingers, careful not to lose that rhythm now that he’s found what works. The way your walls clench when he curls. The way your hips chase him when he retreats. The way your breath hitches when his palm drags across your clit just a little too hard.
And god, he uses it all.
“Fuck,” he mutters, eyes glued to where he’s working you open. “If this pussy was mine, I wouldn’t be able to leave you alone.”
You gasp.
“I’d keep you like this every night,” he says, voice thick now. “Stuffed, dripping, begging for it. Just like this.”
You keen, head falling back against the cushions, thighs straining around his wrist. Another twist of his fingers, another filthy curl, and you’re spiraling again—clenching, grinding, chasing something you’ve never actually caught before.
But it’s still not enough.
Close, so close. You can feel it in your gut, in the burn behind your eyes, in the way your whole body draws tight like a wire about to snap. But then it slips, slithers away like it always does, leaving you aching and wrung out and panting like you’ve been running in circles.
Han doesn’t stop.
He slows, sure. Eases off that pressure like he knows—like he felt the way you were peaking and watched it fall apart all over again.
Your breath stutters. Your hands tremble where they’re gripping the couch cushions. Your whole body shakes with the frustration of it.
Han looks fucking thrilled.
“Shit,” he whispers, eyes glued to the slick mess between your legs. “You’re gonna be a fucking problem, huh?
You whimper—shaky, half-desperate—and try to pull your legs closed, but his free hand slides up your thigh and keeps them open. He’s still panting, still hard in his sweats, and yet somehow entirely focused on you.
Your voice comes out broken. “I can’t—fuck, Han, I was so close—”
“I know, baby,” he murmurs, leaning over you. His fingers finally slip free, soaked and shining, and he brings them to his mouth like it’s nothing. Like tasting you is just a thing he does between breaths. “You’re so fucking pretty can’t believe no one’s ever made you come.”
He sucks one finger between his lips, humming low in his throat, and your entire body jerks.
He grins around his knuckle. Blushy. Sweet. Still Han, somehow—except his eyes are dark now, slow-burning, locked onto you with intent.
And when he speaks, it’s not teasing. It’s reverent.
“I knew you’d taste good,” he murmurs, dragging his hand down your thigh again. “Didn’t think you’d ruin me this fast, though.”
You squirm, still reeling from the touch of his fingers, still aching from how close you came—how it slipped just out of reach. Your panties are somewhere around your knees now, tangled and damp, and your thighs are trembling despite the warmth of the room.
But Han doesn’t give you time to settle.
He drops back down between your legs like it’s instinct.
Like he belongs there.
You brace for it—his mouth, his tongue—but nothing prepares you for how intentional it is.
Because when he licks you, it’s not just lust. It’s devotion.
The first press of his tongue is slow, hot, drawn out like he’s tasting something forbidden. It drags through your folds, slick and maddening, before he pulls back just slightly and exhales a shaky breath against your cunt like it’s worship.
“Fuck,” he whispers, voice wrecked. “You’re so fucking sweet. So wet—dripping for me, baby.”
Your hips jerk. A soft moan tears from your throat, helpless and startled.
He hums at the sound. And then his tongue is on you again—lapping, curling, sliding in lazy circles around your clit, not rushed, not rough. Patient.
But it’s overwhelming.
Too much and somehow still not enough.
You gasp, spine arching. Your thighs twitch against his shoulders again and he presses his hands there—holding you open, keeping you still. His grip is firm, grounding. Gentle only in contrast to the way he eats you.
He groans low when your hips roll, when your slick coats his lips and chin. Like it turns him on more than anything else. Like this is the part he needs.
He devours you like he’s starved for it.
Like he’s been thinking about this—you—for longer than he’s willing to admit. Tongue slow but deliberate, savoring every stroke, every gasp you give him. He doesn’t speak now, doesn’t need to. The sounds alone—your moans, the wet suck of his mouth, the way your breath stutters every time he flattens his tongue against your clit—say enough.
But it’s your reactions that do it. The way your body jumps every time he moves just right. The way your hands scramble for the couch cushions, for him, like you don’t know what else to hold onto. The way your thighs clamp around his head when he groans into your cunt.
That’s when he realizes.
You’ve never been eaten out before.
It hits him all at once—in the way you shiver, in the way your body doesn’t quite know how to take the pleasure he’s giving. There’s something raw about it. Uncharted. Holy.
He doesn’t say anything. Doesn’t tease. Just lets the knowledge settle deep in his chest like a vow.
So he slows down. Not to drag it out—to care. To guide you through it.
He pulls back just slightly, presses a kiss to the inside of your thigh, then another one, lower, softer. You can feel his breath against your skin, shaky and uneven, like you are unraveling him just by letting him do this.
He kisses down, worshipful, open-mouthed presses of tongue and lips trailing toward where you’re slick and trembling—until he’s back on you, groaning deep in his chest like he needs this to survive.
He laps at your cunt like a man obsessed. Messy, wet, obscene.
His tongue flicks fast over your clit, sloppy and relentless, and when you whimper—high and panicked—his hands tighten on your thighs, dragging them wider, pushing you open like he can’t get enough. His nose presses into the soft swell of you and his mouth won’t stop.
And god—god, the noises.
The slick suck of his mouth, the soft wet licks between your folds, the broken, wanton moans he keeps letting out like your taste is fucking euphoric.
Your thighs are trembling against his cheeks, toes curling against the cushions, hands fisting in the fabric like it’s the only thing keeping you tethered to this plane of existence. Every time you start to come down, he drags you right back up—tongue flicking, then flattening, then sucking.
You’re soaking him. You know it. Can feel the slick mess coating his lips, his chin, now—but he doesn’t care. Doesn’t even flinch. Just dives in deeper, grinds his mouth against you like it’s the only thing that matters.
And maybe it is.
You’ve never made sounds like this before. Never felt anything like this. It’s a full-body unraveling—pleasure so raw and high-pitched it’s almost unbearable. You can’t even find words anymore. You try—gasp out his name, maybe a plea, maybe a warning—but it’s just breath. Just noise.
He hears it anyway.
Groans in response, and the vibration shoots through you—tightens every nerve, every muscle. You feel it everywhere. In your spine, in your belly, in your fucking teeth.
He licks through your folds like he’s trying to commit the shape of you to memory, tongue dragging over your clit in slow, hard laps now—intentional, devastating. One hand lets go of your thigh to slide underneath you, to lift your hips, tilt you toward his mouth like an offering.
Like you’re his altar and he’s ready to worship.
You don’t even realize you're crying until the tears hit your cheeks—silent and sudden, overwhelmed by the sheer weight of it, the depth of it, the relentlessness of him.
Jisung doesn’t notice.
Or maybe he does and just thinks it’s holy.
Because he’s still moaning against your cunt like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Like this is salvation. Like this is his first time, too.
The warmth is unbearable. Sharp and sweet and all-consuming, climbing up your spine in thick, molten waves that won’t stop—won’t let you go. Your muscles are locking up, your breath catching in your throat, your fingers cramping from how tight you're clenching the cushions.
You’re going to break.
You know it.
You want to.
And he just keeps going—tongue pressed flat and firm against your clit now, dragging in slow, filthy circles while his lips suck softly, reverently, like he’s trying to love you apart piece by piece.
You feel it snap somewhere deep inside you.
The heat—the ache—the need—it peaks.
And then it bursts..
Your thighs clamp around his head, your hips jerk off the couch, your moan rips loose from your throat like you’ve been silenced your whole life and this is the only language your body ever needed to speak.
You’re cumming. Hard. Helpless.
Everything pulses—your cunt, your chest, your fingers. Every nerve is alight, every inch of you clenched and shaking, your whole body seized in the grip of something so big you can’t name it.
And Jisung doesn’t stop.
Not when your legs twitch.
Not when your body tries to squirm away.
Not even when you sob his name, high and wrecked, too sensitive to breathe.
He eats it up. Literally.
Groaning low in his throat, nose pressed to your mound, tongue still working your clit like he wants to wring another orgasm out of you before this one’s even ended. You try to stop him, legs trembling, fingers pushing at his hair with barely any strength behind them.
But he just moans again, long and loud and ruined, the vibration shooting straight through your core.
“H-Han—” you gasp, voice cracked and teary.
But he can’t stop. He won’t.
You’ve broken open for him—shattered for him—and it’s like something inside him snapped too. His mouth keeps moving, lapping through your folds like he’s addicted, like he needs the taste of you to live, sucking every drop from your body like he’s trying to memorize it.
You try again to push him off. This time with real effort. A desperate shove, your fingers fisting in his hair and yanking—not hard, not mean, but urgent.
“Han, please—”
He finally pulls back.
Gasps.
His chest is heaving. His mouth is slick and swollen, the lower half of his face soaked in your release, and he blinks up at you like he forgot where he is.
“Shit—fuck, I’m sorry, I—” he pants, voice wrecked, dazed.
Then he looks down.
And groans.
Because you’re still dripping.
Slick pooling out of you, slow and obscene, catching the light as it runs in glistening streaks down the curve of your pussy and the swell of your ass, soaking the couch beneath you.
And he can’t help himself.
His hands slide up your thighs again—possessive, reverent—and before you can stop him, he leans back in.
One long, filthy lick—from your entrance to your clit—slurping up everything you spilled. He moans as it hits his tongue, deep and satisfied, and swirls it around like he’s tasting honey.
He pulls back just far enough to look at you.
Face flushed, lips swollen and slick, chin glossy with your release. His eyes are glassy—fucked-out and starving and soft in a way that shouldn’t match the filth of what he just did to you. But somehow it does.
Somehow, it makes it worse.
He’s panting like he just ran miles. Sweat dampens his curls, his hoodie clings to his chest, and his cock is still straining hard against his sweats—visibly aching. But he doesn’t even look at himself. Doesn’t even care.
He’s still looking at you.
At the mess he made.
At your cunt—pink and soaked and fluttering with aftershocks, spread open on the couch like he carved you out just for him.
And he fucking smiles.
“Jesus,” he breathes, dragging his thumb along your inner thigh, slow and lazy, eyes still locked on the slick between your legs. “You’re unreal.”
You’re still trembling—wrung out, flushed, completely silent now except for the shattered sound of your breath.
But he isn’t done.
Not really.
Because then his thumb moves—trails closer, closer, until it’s swiping through the slick seam of you, collecting it, spreading it.
You flinch, hips twitching, breath hitching on a wrecked little gasp.
He freezes.
“Sorry—shit, sorry,” he murmurs, voice gone soft in the edges. “You’re probably so fucking sensitive right now.”
You nod, dazed. Barely. You’re not even sure you meant to.
But his eyes drop back down—and the sight of your cunt twitching under his touch, the way slick is still dripping out of you, slow and shiny, pooling where your thighs meet—
It short-circuits whatever restraint he had left.
“Can I…” he starts, already leaning in again, lips parted, breath ragged. “Just—one more taste, baby. Please.”
And before you can answer, he’s there again.
Licking into you.
Tongue flat and greedy, slow and deep, sliding through the wreckage he left behind like he needs it to breathe. He moans—loud—when it coats his tongue, when it drips down his chin, when he presses another kiss to your clit like he’s thanking it for everything.
You can’t stop shaking.
From how tender he’s being while still devouring you like it’s the last thing he’ll ever do. From how overwhelmed your body feels—stretched between too much and not enough, oversensitive but still wanting.
He doesn’t rush now. Doesn’t try to make you cum again.
This is different.
It’s reverent. Like he’s cleaning you up with his mouth, dragging his tongue through every slick drop, pressing soft kisses into the mess like he’s trying to soothe the tremble in your thighs.
You whimper, just once—raw and hoarse.
That’s when he stops for real.
You sigh into his mouth, quiet and trembling, the kind of sound that only comes when everything inside you is raw—peeled back, exposed, open. He swallows it like it’s precious. Like it matters.
His hand at your waist shifts, pulling you gently forward until your chest brushes his. You’re still bare from the waist down—thighs sticky, breath uneven—and he’s still clothed, still hard, still aching beneath his sweats.
But he doesn’t grind against you.
Doesn’t ask for anything.
He just holds you.
Your knees fall around his hips, lazy and loose, and his thumb strokes the hinge of your jaw—slow, absent, like he needs the contact to stay calm.
The kiss deepens. Not with hunger. With heat. With reverence. His lips move against yours like he wants to memorize the shape of your mouth, your breath, the taste of your tongue mixed with your own arousal.
You break first—pulling back just a fraction to breathe, eyes fluttering open.
He’s already looking at you.
And there’s something in his gaze that wasn’t there before. Something stunned. Struck. Soft.
He whispers, “You okay?”
You nod. Maybe too fast. You feel stripped down to something small and shaking, something new—but his hand doesn’t leave you. His thumb still brushes your cheek. His chest still rises and falls like he’s feeling everything with you.
You whisper back, “I didn’t know it could feel like that.”
Jisung exhales a laugh—wrecked and wrecking.
“Yeah?” he murmurs, leaning forward again to press a kiss to your cheek, then another to your temple. “Then I guess we’ve got a lot of catching up to do.”
You don’t even realize you’re smiling until he kisses it. Presses his lips right there, at the corner of your mouth, so gentle it makes your eyes sting all over again.
There’s a beat of silence—thick and golden, warm between the ruined rhythm of your breathing.
Then he asks, quieter this time, “Can I hold you for a while?”
And god. You’ve never wanted anything more.
______________________________________________________________
The crowd pours out of the auditorium like a tide—caps slightly askew, diplomas clutched tight, families gathered in little clusters of congratulations and cameras. Laughter. Shouts. The click of heels and the flutter of gowns. You scan the crowd, heart racing, eyes darting.
And then you see him.
Leaning awkwardly against a tree, holding a slightly crumpled bouquet of grocery store flowers and dressed in the nicest outfit you’ve ever seen him wear. Still a hoodie—because he’s him—but it’s black and clean and zipped halfway up over a plain white tee. His hair’s been pushed back, curls tamed, face soft in the sunlight.
Like he wanted to look good.
For you.
You run.
Full sprint, no hesitation. Laughing, radiant, the hem of your gown flying behind you. And Jisung barely has time to react before you crash into his arms—legs wrapping around his waist, face buried in his neck.
He catches you without thinking. Arms locked tight around your back, holding you like the whole world could fall away and he’d still have you.
“Jesus—hi,” he breathes, stunned, grinning into your shoulder.
“You came,” you whisper, pulling back just enough to look at him, eyes glassy and sunlit.
“Of course I came,” he murmurs, brushing a thumb over your cheek. “I wouldn’t miss this.”
You swallow, smile trembling just a little. You’re still holding your cap too tightly. Still searching the crowd behind him, over his shoulder, behind trees and between cars—hoping.
And Jisung sees it.
Sees the flicker in your expression when you realize no one else is coming. No familiar voices calling your name. No parents weaving through the crowd, late and disheveled but here. Nothing.
Just him.
You try to play it off—force a smile, tilt your head.
But Jisung just exhales, jaw tight, eyes warm and sharp.
“Hey,” he says softly, tipping your chin up. “Fuck ‘em.”
Your breath hitches—more from the way he says it than what he says. No apology. No pity. Just truth, blunt and biting and yours.
“Fuck ‘em,” he says again, firmer this time. “They don’t get to take this from you.”
And something in you cracks. Not the kind that breaks—the kind that lets light in.
Your cap slips from your hand to the pavement. You don’t even notice. You just lean forward and let your forehead rest against his, eyes fluttering shut as the noise of the world fades away.
“I thought it wouldn’t matter,” you whisper. “That I didn’t care.”
He nods like he already knew. Lets his hand fall to the small of your back, thumb tracing slow circles through the fabric of your gown.
“But it does,” you admit.
“Of course it does,” he murmurs. “You deserved more than this.”
You pull in a shaky breath. Exhale. Nod against him.
And then you laugh—quiet, almost startled. “God, you look nice.”
He pulls back just enough to give you a crooked smile. “You noticed?”
You sniffle, wiping under your eyes. “You did your hair.”
“I used product and everything,” he says solemnly, and that makes you laugh for real this time. His face lights up at the sound. Then, like he remembers something, his eyes go wide and he fumbles for something in his pocket.
“Wait—here. Got you something.”
You raise a brow as he pulls out a pair of slightly beat-up white AirPods and holds them out like they’re wrapped in silk.
“Your... earwax?” you tease, voice still thick, but lighter now.
Jisung groans, face going red. “Just put them in, smartass.”
You give him a look, lips twitching like you’re holding back another laugh, but you take them. Slip them in with practiced ease, still smirking, still sniffling a little.
And then—
You hear it.
Soft at first. A low, warm hum of synth. That familiar piano progression you’ve heard a hundred times echoing from his bedroom speakers, half-finished and always evolving. A quiet heartbeat of static underneath, the sound of something personal, unfinished—
But not this time.
Now it’s whole.
The bass comes in slow. The melody rises. The rhythm finds its footing like it’s been waiting for you.
Then his voice.
His voice.
Low. Raw. Stripped back and unfiltered, like he recorded it in the middle of the night, barefaced and half asleep. It’s not polished. It’s intimate. Each lyric laid out like a confession, like he’s pressing it directly into your chest.
You freeze.
Your mouth parts, but no words come out. You just stare at him—eyes wide, breath caught, the world suddenly nothing but him and the song in your ears.
Jisung watches you closely, fidgeting, clearly trying to read your face.
“I, uh… I finally finished it,” he says, rubbing the back of his neck. “Track 12. I—kind of stayed up all night working on it. Wanted you to be the first to hear it.”
You swallow hard. “You—wrote this… for me?”
He nods, sheepish. “Well, yeah. Who the fuck else would it be for?”
You blink at him, still stunned, still half-floating somewhere between the melody and his smile.
The music wraps around you like a secret, like sunlight through a window. His voice in your ears. His eyes on your face. His hands fidgeting at his sides, picking at the edge of his hoodie sleeve, suddenly nervous like he didn’t just lay his heart bare in a three-minute track.
And then he says it.
Quiet. Almost like it slips out.
“I’m in love with you.”
Your breath stutters.
He panics a little, eyes going wide, hands gesturing now like he’s trying to physically catch the words and shove them back into his mouth.
“I mean—not in like, a weird, ‘I wrote you a song and now you have to marry me’ way. I just—I’ve been in love with you for a while, and I didn’t know how to say it. And then I kept not saying it, and then you let me eat you out on your couch and I was like, oh cool, guess I’m definitely in love with her—”
You stare at him.
Mouth slightly open. Ears still ringing with his voice from the track. Face flushed from the heat of him and the way he’s unraveling in front of you, hands flailing, words tumbling out too fast, too honest, too him.
“And now I’m saying it,” he rushes on, breath hitching. “And maybe it’s too soon or maybe it’s stupid but—fuck, I don’t care. I love you. And I don’t just mean in the afterglow, post-head, 'wow-she’s-so-pretty-when-she’s-cumming' kind of way—which, like, you are—but I mean in the real way. In the way where I think about you all the time and you’re in my music and my coffee and my fucking laundry detergent because you smell like it now—”
You cut him off with a laugh—soft and stunned, the kind that comes from something blooming too fast in your chest. Your hands reach for him instinctively, palms pressed to his chest like you’re trying to slow his heart down, or maybe match yours to it.
Then lean up and kiss him.
He melts into it—hands landing on your waist like he’s afraid you’ll float off if he doesn’t hold you down. His mouth is soft, a little shaky, like he still can’t believe this is happening. Like he’s kissing you with both hands behind his back, offering up his heart like a truce.
When you pull back, your forehead rests against his.
You’re smiling. He is too, in that breathless, stunned way—like you’ve both finally exhaled.
“I’m in love with you too,” you whisper.
He chokes out a sound. Somewhere between a laugh and a gasp. “No shit?”
You nod. “No shit.”
Jisung blinks, then grins—slow and wide and boyish.
He just stands there, still holding you, like his body hasn’t caught up with what just happened.
Like he's trying to memorize this moment—your smile, your closeness, the soft heat of your hands resting over his heart.
He opens his mouth like he wants to say something else. Closes it again.
Then settles for a quiet, breathless, “...Okay.”
You raise an eyebrow, amused. “Okay?”
He nods, dazed. “Yeah. Just… okay. Everything’s okay now.”
You lean into his chest, let your head fall to his shoulder. He exhales like he’s been holding his breath for months. His arms wrap around your waist again, this time more certain. More steady.
And for a moment, neither of you says anything.
The crowd is still bustling in the background. Cameras flashing. Tassels swinging. Parents calling names that don’t belong to you. The sound of it used to sting—but not now. Not with him holding you like this. Not with the song still echoing in your ears, a private chorus written just for you.
You glance up. “So what now?”
He looks down at you, still smiling like he doesn’t know how to stop.
“We go home,” he says. “Order too much food. Fall asleep on the couch. Pretend we’re not both crying during The Office reruns.”
You snort. “That’s your big plan?”
He leans in, nudges your nose with his. “No,” he murmurs, softer now. “My big plan is to love you for a really, really long time.”
Your heart stutters.
And it’s so simple—so quiet, so uncomplicated—but it wraps around you like warmth, settles deep in your bones like something you forgot you were allowed to want.
You tip forward and kiss him again, just once. Just enough.
“Sounds like a good plan,” you whisper.
He grins. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
Eventually, your fingers find his, threading together as the crowd begins to thin. He gives your hand a gentle squeeze, grounding and sure.
You glance down at the flowers, still clutched in your other hand—slightly crushed, petals soft and folding in from the heat. But they’re yours. Someone showed up. Someone stayed.
You’re walking away with his hand in yours, the sun dipping low behind you, the final track still playing softly in your head.
It ends the way all good songs do.
Quiet.
Certain.
Yours.

touchy | joaquin torres x reader

Pairing: Joaquin Torres x Reader Summary: Joaquin has a thing where he always likes to have a hand on you whenever you're together – holding your waist, holding your hand, a hand resting on your thigh. You finally decide to confront him about why. Warnings: Mentions of food, a kind of spicy make-out scene. Word Count: 1.6k A/N: I had this idea and I just had to write it. It's shorter than my other Joaquin fics but I had so much fun writing it and I really just wanted to get something else for Joaquin out for you guys! Please send in requests for him if you have any! 💗
One thing you never expected when you started dating Joaquin Torres was how touchy the man was – there was barely any time when the two of you were together when he wasn’t touching you in some way.
It surprised you at first. He never came across as that kind of person. He was the definition of a Golden Retriever boyfriend. But then you’d be standing with him at a party and you’d feel his hand wrap around your waist, or whenever you had to cross the road, he’d hold your hand (not unlike your parents used to do when you were a child), or when you were at home watching a movie on the couch, his hand would rest on your thigh.
After several months of this, you finally decided to ask him why.
“Joaquin, can I ask you something?” You call from where you’re sitting in the living room, your eyes flickering up from the book that was on your lap – the one you’ve been trying to read and failing, owing to the fact that your boyfriend has been strutting around your apartment shirtless ever since he got out of the shower.
“Course you can, angel,” he calls back from the kitchen.
Out of the two of you, Joaquin is the cook of the family. You hadn’t trusted him in the kitchen at first – he had always seemed the type of person to accidentally chop off a finger because he was too distracted. But so far, no such accidents had occured and he was much better at making a delicious meal than you were.
You were quick to close your book and get up from the couch, padding through the hallway into the kitchen to see him standing at the bench, chopping something up on a cutting board in front of him – still irritatingly shirtless.
“Cooking shirtless is dangerous, you know,” you say, announcing your presence.
His eyes flicker up towards you. “For you or for me?”
You give him a look. “For you, pretty boy. I’m not the one holding the knife.”
Joaquin grins at you before putting the knife down, wiping his hands on the cloth on the bench beside him and grabbing the apron hanging over the back of one of your bar stools. “Should I put this on then? Someone clearly isn’t enjoying the show.”
“Baby,” you roll your eyes at him jokingly, crossing the room and snatching the apron out of his hands. “You know that’s not what I meant. I meant you could get burned by oil or slip and cut yourself or… well… there are plenty of dangers to cooking shirtless.”
Joaquin smirks, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you to his chest so you’re pressed together. “Angel, all those things you just listed are also things that could happen to me if I were wearing a shirt. You know that, right?”
You can’t help the way you pout at him. “Not my point, Joaquin.”
He grins and presses a quick peck to your lips. “Was that what you were coming in here to talk about?” He asks, his thumb swiping gently back and forth over your waist.
“No, actually,” you hum. “I was coming here to talk about this.” You motion in-between the two of you, at the contact between your bodies. You’re not not a fan of it – of course you love it – but it does amuse you, the fact that your boyfriend always wants to have a hand on you at all times.
Joaquin raises his eyebrows. “We playin’ charades? Am I meant to guess?”
You laugh a little. “No, silly. This. The way I walked into the kitchen and you swept me up into your arms immediately. The way you always have a hand on my back when we walk somewhere. The way you put your hand on my thigh when we’re on the couch. The way you’re touching me all the time.”
Irritatingly, your words have the opposite effect than intended and Joaquin steps away from you, removing his hand from your waist. You immediately miss the warmth of his body, the feeling of his hand on your waist, and almost reach back out for him.
“You don’t like it?” Joaquin asks, eyebrows furrowed in worry.
You hate the look on his face – the way he looks like a wounded puppy. His usually playful eyes look sad, full of fear and you can read his expression immediately. He thinks that by doing these things, he’s made you uncomfortable.
“Baby, no – I love it!” You attempt to rectify the situation. “I just was curious about why.”
Unable to keep looking at his sad puppy dog eyes anymore, you step forward, cupping his cheeks in your hands gently. His hands tentatively rest on your waist, as if he’s afraid you’re going to move away at any second but he simply can’t help but to touch you, just a little.
“You’re so touchy and I love it, Joaquin. I love having your hands on me all the time, I swear. Just now when you took your hands off my waist it was like… like it was suddenly winter and I was freezing cold without them. I just wanna know why you do it,” you explain further, making sure you keep eye contact with him.
Joaquin frowns a little. “I guess I never really thought about it,” he replies. “I think I kinda just do it without meaning to. I just love the feeling of having my hands on you, feeling your warmth, reminding myself that you’re beside me. And I mean…” He clears his throat. “Have you seen yourself, angel? Why would I not wanna touch you at any given opportunity?”
It’s like his confidence makes a return to his body, then. His grip on your waist gets tighter and he pulls you closer, forcing you to drop your hands from his face. They rest on his shoulders instead as he backs you up a little so you’re leaning against the counter. His body is pressed against yours again, like it was only minutes ago. The warmth you’d missed before falls over you like a sheet of pure comfort.
You can’t keep the smile off your face at his words and actions. “That’s kinda cute, Joaquin,” you admit. “That you do it without thinking about it. Like I said, I love the feeling of you having your hands on me too.”
“Cute?” Joaquin looks at you with raised eyebrows. “You think I’m cute?”
It’s hard not to smile at his tone. “Yeah, adorable. You’re like a little puppy. You were looking at me before with the most puppy dog eyes I’ve ever seen on a person. You looked so sad, I just wanted to pick you up and–”
Before you can finish speaking, Joaquin cuts you off by pressing his lips to yours. You moan at the sudden feeling of his lips, the feeling of his tongue swiping against your bottom lip. The way that his hands grip your waist tighter, one of them roaming up your back to grasp at the back of your neck so he can kiss you deeper.
The edge of the counter digs into your back but you barely even notice the feeling. One of your hands moves to run through Joaquin’s hair – it’s short, but long enough for you to grip, the other on his back. The feeling of his muscles against your palm only makes you want to kiss him more. The last thing you want to do is break apart for air.
Your breath hitches as he squeezes your waist again, forcing your lips apart. Both of you are breathing heavily, though the break doesn’t last long. Joaquin wastes no time in kissing you again, but this time his lips move from yours to your jaw. He presses soft, gentle kisses along the side of your jaw and down your neck. You tilt your head backwards, giving him better access. When your hand grasps onto his hip, he gasps a little and you can’t help but smile at the sound.
“See?” You mutter breathlessly, tilting your head forward again to meet his eyes. “I told you that cooking while shirtless was dangerous.”
Joaquin laughs at that, a gorgeous smile finding its way onto his face. You look at him, at the sweat on his forehead, the look of lust and love in his eyes, the way his chest moves up and down quickly, his breath still heavy from your small make out session. He’s easily the most gorgeous man you’ve ever laid eyes on… and he’s all yours.
He moves his hands down to your waist again and before you can do anything about it, he’s lifting you up so you’re sitting on the counter and pushing your legs apart so he can stand in-between them. At this angle, you’re basically the same height.
“I see no problems here, angel,” he flashes that gorgeous grin again before messily pressing his lips to yours again. He pulls away quickly though, much to your disappointment. “Now that we’ve established that I’m not cute, I am going to continue cooking you dinner. I’ll let you go back to your book.”
“Oh no,” you shake your head, turning to watch him as he returns to the cutting board. “I have a much better view right here than I do in the living room, baby. Besides, someone has to supervise you to make sure you stay safe while cooking like that… it’s bound to be a hard job but I’m pretty certain I’m up to the challenge...”

Hoodie Thief | psh 🔞
pairing: roommate!sunghoon x reader
epilogue

You weren’t sure when it became a habit—stealing Park Sunghoon’s hoodies. Maybe it was the night you came home late from a party, heels in one hand and a headache blooming behind your eyes, and he tossed you his oversized black one without even looking up from his laptop. Or maybe it was because they always smelled faintly of cinnamon and clean laundry, like comfort itself.
Whatever the reason, you were wearing one again. This time it was gray, soft, and swallowed you whole. Sunghoon was seated on the living room floor, laptop open, knees drawn up, glasses slipping slightly down his nose as he squinted at some code on the screen.
“You know,” he said, voice casual but laced with amusement, “at this point, I’m not even sure which hoodies are mine anymore.”
You sank onto the couch beside him, tugging the sleeve over your hand. “Well, technically, they’re community property now. Roommate rules.”
“That so?” he asked, glancing up at you over the rim of his glasses. His eyes lingered on your frame, his gaze unhurried as it dropped to the hoodie you wore. “Looks better on you anyway.”
You tried not to grin, but your cheeks betrayed you. “Flattery, Park?”
“Observation,” he replied smoothly, returning to his screen.
The teasing between you two had always been like this slow, drawn-out, never quite tipping over the edge. He’d brush past you in the kitchen, hand resting on your lower back just a second too long. You’d find excuses to fix his crooked tie when he got ready for class presentations, fingers grazing his collarbone just because. The tension was a thread stretched taut but never snapped.
You leaned in slightly, your knee pressing lightly against his. “You know what would really seal the roommate bond?”
He raised a brow, not looking up. “What’s that?”
“You letting me keep this one,” you said, tugging at the hoodie like it was a prize.
Sunghoon’s lips curved into a smirk, subtle and dangerous. He closed his laptop slowly, setting it aside.
“That depends,” he said, voice low, “on what I get in return.”
Your breath caught, but your smile didn’t falter. “Oh? You charging a fee now?”
He shifted just a little closer, the space between your knees gone. “Just thinking… maybe you owe me dinner. Or..” his eyes flicked down to your lips, then back up “a study session. You, me, one of my hoodies, and absolutely no distractions.”
You huffed a laugh. “Sounds like a trap.”
“Maybe.” He leaned in a fraction. “But I think you’d look good in all of them. Might as well make it official.”
Your fingers played with the drawstring of the hoodie, heartbeat ticking just a little faster.
“We’re still talking about clothes, right?”
He gave you a look. “Sure.”
But neither of you moved. The line was still there drawn faintly in the space between your breaths, in the ghost of his smile. And maybe it would stay there a while longer.
Maybe not.
-
You had one rule living with Sunghoon: do not thirst after your roommate.
It was a rule you followed diligently. Mostly. Despite the flirty banter and hoodie theft, you’d never crossed that line—because he never gave you the chance to. He was always in those oversized hoodies and loose sweats, glasses low on his nose, hair constantly ruffled like he just rolled out of bed (which, annoyingly, made him even hotter). His appeal was subtle—nerdy, quiet, maddeningly soft.
So nothing could’ve prepared you for what you walked in on that Wednesday afternoon.
You pushed open the apartment door mid-call, rambling into your phone, “I swear if he left his ramen bowls in the sink again, I’m gonna—”
And then you stopped.
Dead in your tracks.
Sunghoon was in the living room. Not in a hoodie. Not in any sort of baggy fabric, actually. Instead, he was standing in front of the open window, sipping water from a bottle, wearing a black tank top that hugged his toned chest and grey sweatpants that did dangerous things to your attention span.
He looked over when he heard you, and the way his biceps flexed slightly as he twisted the cap back on the bottle had you gripping your phone like a lifeline.
“Oh. Hey,” he said casually, like he wasn’t currently breaking the internet. “You’re home early.”
You blinked. Your phone beeped. You’d accidentally hung up.
“I—yeah.” You were proud you even managed words. “I… am.”
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow as he walked over, towel slung around his neck. He was glistening slightly—post-workout, apparently—and his hair was a little damp.
“I was just finishing a quick workout. Didn’t think you’d be back for another hour,” he said, stepping past you to grab something from the kitchen. “You okay?”
“Yep,” you squeaked, eyes very much not okay as they followed the flex of his back muscles beneath the thin tank top.
He looked like a completely different person. Still nerdy. Still Sunghoon. Just… cursed with forearms now.
You finally tore your gaze away and flopped onto the couch like your soul had left your body. “I’m fine. Totally normal. Regular day. You just—uh—changed your outfit game without warning.”
He smirked as he opened the fridge. “What, the hoodie empire falling apart for you?”
“I just wasn’t expecting…” You gestured vaguely in his direction, cheeks heating. “That.”
Sunghoon leaned against the counter and quirked a brow. “You mean the tank top? Didn’t know it would have such an effect.”
You glared. “It doesn’t.”
He crossed the room slowly, stopping right in front of you. “Your face is red.”
“I’m warm.”
He bent down slightly, his face hovering closer to yours. “You want me to go change back into a hoodie?”
You swallowed. Your hands were very much not behaving, already fisting the hem of his tank like they had a mind of their own. You weren’t even sure when you’d stood up. His scent—clean sweat, citrus, and something entirely him—was clouding your judgment.
“Don’t,” you said quietly, fingers still clutching his shirt.
He looked down at where you were touching him, then back up at you, his voice lower. “You sure?”
That line—the one you two danced around for months—was right there. So close. So fragile.
You looked up at him, heart racing. “No. But I’m tired of pretending I don’t want to cross it.”
His eyes flickered to your lips, then your hand. And when he leaned in just slightly, the heat between you burned bright and slow, like something inevitable finally unraveling.
-
Since the tank top incident, something changed.
No, scratch that—Sunghoon changed.
The very next day, he emerged from his room wearing another fitted black tee. Not a hoodie. Not even a crewneck. It clung to his chest just enough to make you pause mid-bite of your cereal, spoon hovering in the air like gravity forgot to exist.
You thought it might be a one-time thing, but the days kept coming—and so did the outfits. Sunghoon in slim joggers, Sunghoon in soft, clingy tees that rolled up just slightly at the arms, Sunghoon walking around the kitchen post-shower with a towel slung around his shoulders and that same tank top clinging to his skin like it had no shame.
He was weaponizing himself. There was no other explanation.
And worse? He knew.
“Laundry day?” you asked innocently one morning, nodding toward the fitted navy tee he wore as he poured coffee into two mugs.
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, setting a mug in front of you. “Nope. Just thought I’d mix it up. You don’t mind, do you?”
You took the mug and muttered, “Not even a little bit.”
He chuckled, brushing past you to grab something from the fridge, his hand grazing your waist in that way he did sometimes—just long enough to leave sparks behind.
It kept happening. His touches were still subtle—always plausible, never overt—but now they lingered. His hand on your back as you reached for a mug. Fingers brushing yours when you both reached for the remote. His knee pressed against yours on the couch and never moving away.
And you? You were slowly unraveling.
That Sunday night, it nearly broke you.
You came out of your room, sleepy and disoriented, in search of water. The apartment was dim, quiet, save for the soft hum of music from the living room.
And there he was.
Sunghoon, sitting on the floor in front of the couch, wearing a white tank top and black sweatpants, hair slightly damp, fingers tapping lazily on his laptop.
You paused in the doorway like some unprepared victim in a slow-burn romcom.
He looked up and saw you. “Couldn’t sleep?”
“Mmhm,” you managed, forcing your legs to move. You grabbed a glass of water, hoping the cold would slap some sense back into you.
“C’mere,” he said suddenly.
You blinked. “Why?”
He patted the floor beside him. “Just sit. You look like you’re one hoodie away from losing it.”
You hesitated, then walked over and lowered yourself beside him. Close enough that your thighs touched. Of course.
“You’re doing it on purpose,” you muttered.
He didn’t look away from his screen. “Doing what?”
“This.” You gestured at him with a wave of your hand. “The… arms. The fitted shirts. The lack of hoodies. I’m barely hanging on here, and you’re out here being a thirst trap with glasses.”
Sunghoon let out a soft laugh—quiet, amused. He finally looked at you, and his eyes were dangerous in the low light.
“You’re the one who kept stealing my hoodies,” he murmured, voice low and full of teasing. “I figured I’d give you something else to lose your mind over.”
You stared at him. “So you admit it.”
“Oh, I knew exactly what I was doing.”
Your heart was in your throat now, pounding so loudly you were sure he could hear it. “And now?”
He tilted his head slightly, gaze flicking to your lips. “Still doing it.”
You should’ve kissed him. Should’ve dragged him down onto the floor and ruined the tension once and for all. But instead, you just exhaled, shaky, and leaned your head against his shoulder.
He didn’t move. Just let you rest there, warm and solid.
And the line between you both?
Still unbroken. But trembling.
-
You decided it was time for revenge.
If Park Sunghoon was going to spend his days parading around in tank tops and fitted clothes like he didn’t know what he was doing to your sanity, then fine. Two could play this game.
So that’s how you found yourself in the living room on Saturday morning, casually stretching on the yoga mat in the center of the room—wearing nothing but one of his hoodies (slightly cropped from how you’d tucked it up) and tight Calvin Klein bike shorts that hugged you like a second skin.
You didn’t acknowledge his presence at first. Just stretched with exaggerated slowness, arms over your head as the hoodie rose—high enough to show off the sliver of your waist and the underside of your chest with every movement.
You knew he was watching. He was always up by now, usually making his precious pour-over coffee in the kitchen. And sure enough, you heard it—the shift of the kettle, the sudden clatter of a spoon, and then silence.
You smirked to yourself as you leaned forward in a deep stretch, back arching just slightly, your position giving him a full view of your curves.
“Didn’t know you were up,” you said sweetly, still not turning around.
“I—I wasn’t,” came his voice from behind you. Rough. Caught off guard. Like he’d swallowed air wrong. “I mean—I just woke up.”
You slowly straightened, finally glancing over your shoulder.
“Oh?” you blinked innocently, lips curling. “Hope I didn’t distract you.”
Sunghoon was standing by the counter, coffee mug forgotten in his hand, his gaze locked on you like you were an equation he couldn’t solve.
His hoodie on you was driving him insane—you could see it in the way his jaw ticked, in the way his eyes trailed down to your exposed waist and back up with a slow drag.
“New shorts?” he asked, voice notably lower.
You stretched your arms above your head again, feigning a yawn. “Mmhm. Comfortable, right?”
“They look…” He cleared his throat. “Tight.”
You smiled. “Flattering, you mean?”
He stepped closer, slowly, like his body was moving without permission.
“You know exactly what you’re doing, don’t you?” he murmured.
You turned fully to face him now, still sitting on your knees, hoodie slipping off one shoulder. “I’m just stretching, Sunghoon.”
He stared at you, and something flickered in his eyes—like he was this close to crossing that line you’d both danced around for months.
Then he leaned down, just slightly, meeting your gaze head-on.
“If I lose my mind,” he whispered, “just know it’s your fault.”
You tilted your head, heart thundering in your chest. “Who says you haven’t already?”
The tension was electric, heavy in the space between your lips.
But then, like always, it hovered. Close enough to taste—but not enough to break.
Not yet
Sunghoon exhaled, straightened, and turned back to his coffee like nothing happened.
And you?
You grinned, wicked and satisfied.
Game on.
-
It was late. Past midnight. The kind of quiet that only happened when the city slept and the apartment dimmed into that safe cocoon of shadows and soft hums.
You hadn’t meant to test fate tonight. You were just thirsty, literally. Woke up parched and wandered into the kitchen half-asleep, wearing one of Sunghoon’s zip-up hoodies. No shorts. No bra. Just that oversized hoodie zipped halfway, loose and dangerously low from tossing and turning in bed.
You were barefoot. Hair messy. Eyes squinting at the fridge light as you grabbed a bottle of water and twisted the cap off.
You didn’t notice him at first.
But he noticed you.
Sunghoon stood frozen by the hallway, bathed in low light, eyes glued to you like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. And maybe he couldn’t. Because the zipper of his hoodie had slipped just a little lower—low enough to reveal the swell of your bare chest, the delicate dip of your waist, your skin glowing under the fridge’s light like you were meant to be seen in that moment.
You turned, bottle at your lips, and jumped when you saw him.
“Shit—you scared me,” you laughed softly, not thinking, not realizing what you looked like yet.
But Sunghoon didn’t laugh.
He just stared.
His voice came low. Tense.
“You’re not wearing anything under that, are you?”
You blinked. Finally glanced down.
Oh.
Oh.
Your heart skipped. “I—I wasn’t thinking. I just came out for water, I didn’t think anyone was—”
He stepped closer.
Each step slow. Controlled. Like he was trying to hold something back and losing the battle by the second.
“You’ve been teasing me for months,” he said, voice rough, his eyes never leaving yours. “Wearing my hoodies. Stealing my space. Touching me like you know I want more.”
You swallowed hard, your fingers tightening on the bottle. “Sunghoon—”
“You come out here,” he went on, “dressed like that… at midnight… looking like that—and you still expect me to stay quiet?”
You stepped back instinctively, but you hit the counter.
He kept walking.
Now he was right in front of you, towering, chest rising and falling fast. One hand braced against the counter beside your waist, the other hovering just an inch from the zipper hanging so precariously low on your chest.
“You have no idea what you do to me, do you?”
“I think I do now,” you whispered, breath shallow.
His fingers finally touched the zipper. Tugged it just enough for your breath to hitch. Not fully unzipping—just a threat. Just a taste of the danger you’d both tiptoed around for too long.
“Tell me to stop,” he said, voice barely more than a growl.
But you didn’t.
You tilted your chin, met his gaze, and whispered, “Don’t you dare.”
That was it.
The line you drew? Gone.
He crashed into you like the tension had been a match waiting for a spark—hands gripping your waist, mouth capturing yours in a kiss that was months in the making. Hot. Desperate. Hungry.
And you kissed him back like you’d been holding your breath for this exact moment.
The hoodie slipped.
The water bottle hit the floor.
And Sunghoon?
Sunghoon finally stopped pretending.
Your back hit the kitchen counter with a soft thud, the cool surface contrasting the fire suddenly burning under your skin.
Sunghoon’s hands were on your waist, sliding under the hoodie like he’d been dying to touch you. His mouth was still on yours, tongue teasing, devouring every gasp and moan that spilled from your lips like he needed them to breathe.
And then—he pulled back just a little.
His eyes dropped to the hoodie, to the way it barely clung to your shoulders, your chest rising and falling rapidly beneath it. His fingers caught the zipper again, this time pulling it all the way down.
The fabric parted.
His breath hitched.
“No bra,” he muttered, almost to himself, voice husky and ragged.
You watched the way his eyes darkened—like something snapped completely inside him.
He dipped his head instantly, lips ghosting down your throat. “You’re so unfair,” he groaned, mouth brushing your collarbone. “You know I have a thing for boobs.”
You gasped out a breathy laugh, hand tangling in his hair. “I didn’t, actually.”
“Well,” he murmured, kissing down the swell of your chest, “you do now.”
And then his mouth was there—hot and open and obsessed, worshipping every inch he could reach. His hands cupped you, thumbs brushing gently, then firmly, then teasing—his lips trailing lazy, wet kisses across your skin like he’d been starved and this was his first meal.
You moaned, soft and high, hips shifting against the counter as he sucked lightly at a sensitive spot. His fingers gripped your thighs, dragging you closer, so your knees spread around his hips and you were fully pinned, fully his.
“God, Sunghoon,” you whispered, breathless.
He looked up at you from your chest, eyes blown wide, lips red and swollen.
“You don’t get it,” he said, voice low and wrecked. “I’ve been dying to do this since the first time you walked out of your room in my clothes. You were always just... there, tempting me, touching me, looking at me like that.”
You swallowed hard, your hands now sliding under his shirt, tracing the hard lines of his torso. “Then why didn’t you ever say anything?”
“Because I didn’t want to cross the line,” he said, kissing you again—deep, slow, possessive. “But baby… you broke it first.”
His lips were back on your chest before you could respond, sucking and kissing like he was making up for lost time, like he wanted to memorize every curve, every sound you made. The hoodie slipped off your shoulders entirely now, pooling behind you on the counter.
And he made no move to stop.
Not when your head fell back.
Not when your thighs tightened around his waist.
Not when you whimpered his name, and he groaned like it was the only thing he wanted to hear for the rest of his life.
Sunghoon’s mouth was obsessed—hungry, slow, and dangerously focused.
He pressed open-mouthed kisses across your chest, dragging his tongue deliberately over the soft swell of your breast before closing his lips around your nipple. He groaned at the contact, deep and guttural, like he’d finally gotten the one thing he’d been fantasizing about for months.
“Fuck, I knew they’d feel this good,” he muttered between kisses, hand splaying over your waist to keep you close. “I think about them way too much.”
You gasped, arching your back as his tongue flicked and swirled, switching sides with a low, satisfied sound. His hand moved to cup your other breast, thumb brushing over the peak, and when he sucked again—harder this time—you nearly lost it.
“S-Sunghoon—”
“I’m not stopping,” he mumbled against your skin. “Not when you look like this… sound like that.”
He licked back up the valley between your breasts, teeth grazing lightly. “You wore this hoodie knowing I’d see you, didn’t you?”
You didn’t answer—couldn’t, not when his mouth was doing sinful things to you.
He chuckled darkly. “No bra. Just this. Like you wanted me to snap.”
And then, without warning, his hands were under your thighs—lifting you off the counter like you weighed nothing.
You gasped and instinctively wrapped your legs around his waist, hoodie falling completely off in the motion. His grip tightened under you, fingers digging into your skin as he walked you down the hall, kissing your neck, your jaw, your collarbone with reckless affection.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this,” he whispered against your ear. “No more teasing. No more pretending.”
He kicked the bedroom door open with his foot, not bothering to turn on the lights, letting the soft glow from the hallway bathe you both in shadow.
The second your back hit the bed, he was over you again—pressing hot kisses down your chest, your ribs, your stomach.
Your hands were in his hair, tugging, anchoring yourself as his lips found your breast again, sucking harder this time. His hips rolled against yours with just enough friction to make you whimper his name.
“I love these,” he murmured like a confession, voice low and rough as he licked across your nipple. “I could spend hoursright here.”
You arched under him, heat pooling deep in your core. “Then do it,” you whispered, eyes wild and breathless.
He looked up at you through his lashes, smirk tugging at the corner of his kiss-swollen lips.
“Say less.”
And he did.
He kissed his way down, took his time, made sure every inch of you knew just how badly he’d wanted this. Every flick of his tongue, every bite, every graze of his teeth was slow and sinful and filled with months of held-back tension that was now unraveling between the sheets.
Your breaths turned to moans.
Moans to gasps.
And gasps into pleas.
By the time he finally stripped you bare and joined you in the sheets, it wasn’t just about want—it was about need. About all the nights you brushed hands in the kitchen, the mornings you wore his hoodies, the way his eyes always lingered just a second too long.
He took his time, but when he moved inside you for the first time, slow and deep, both of you lost all words—just soft curses, broken kisses, and the kind of moans that only came from finally, finally giving in.
And still, even in the heat of it all—his hands found their way back to your chest, mouth pressing against your skin like he was claiming it.
“Mine,” he breathed against your skin. “All fucking mine.”
The sheets were tangled around your legs, your skin warm and slick, heart still racing from the first time. You lay there in the dark, chest rising and falling fast, trying to catch your breath—trying to process what just happened.
But Sunghoon… he didn’t move much.
He hovered just above you, gaze roaming over your flushed face, your swollen lips, your body stretched beneath him like a dream. His hand was on your waist, thumb brushing slow circles into your skin, but his eyes kept dipping back down to your chest—still heaving, glistening faintly with sweat.
“You okay?” he asked softly, a slight rasp in his voice.
You nodded, breathless. “Yeah. Very okay.”
He smiled, just a little, but it didn’t reach his eyes—not because he wasn’t happy, but because the look on his face said something else entirely:
He wasn’t done.
Not even close.
His fingers slid up your waist, brushing between the valley of your breasts before he leaned down again, placing a kiss just above your sternum.
You sighed softly, running your fingers through his hair.
“I told you,” he murmured, mouth trailing down again. “I’m not over these.”
He kissed one breast, then the other—soft, slow, reverent.
“You’ve already had your fun,” you teased, voice low.
He looked up at you, eyes dark. “Yeah. Once. That’s not enough.”
Before you could respond, he wrapped his lips around your nipple again, sucking gently—then deeper, hungrier—until your back arched right off the bed and a soft cry slipped from your mouth.
Your thighs instinctively pressed together.
He smirked against your skin.
“Still sensitive?” he asked, fingers ghosting down your hips.
You barely managed a nod. “Yes. But also… don’t stop.”
He didn’t.
His hand slipped between your legs, fingers teasing, already finding you wet again—still soaked for him. He groaned low in his throat.
“Fuck. You’re unreal.”
You whimpered when his fingers dipped inside you, slow and precise, the pads of them curling just right while his mouth stayed fixed on your chest—licking, sucking, marking you.
You were already unraveling again, body twitching under his touch.
“Sunghoon,” you gasped, hips lifting to meet every movement. “Please—”
He kissed up to your neck, whispering against your ear. “You want me again?”
“God, yes.”
He kissed your jaw. “Then get on top.”
You blinked. “What?”
“I want to see you,” he murmured. “Wanna see those pretty tits bounce while I’m inside you.”
Your breath caught. You scrambled to climb over him, straddling his waist, your hands braced against his chest as he looked up at you like you were a fucking goddess.
His hands slid up your thighs, settling at your hips before he guided you down slowly—inch by inch—until he was fully inside you again.
The both of you gasped.
You rocked your hips once—experimentally—and his head fell back against the pillows, jaw clenched.
“Just like that,” he groaned. “Keep going. Fuck, ride me, baby.”
You did.
You moved with him, chasing that dizzy, desperate high all over again, and he watched everything—his hands never leaving your waist or your breasts, gripping and teasing and obsessing the way he had since the very start.
Every time your hips met his, you felt yourself melt further—into the heat, into the rhythm, into him.
And when you came again, clenched around him with a cry of his name, he followed soon after—hands gripping your ass, thrusting up deep one last time as he spilled into you with a shudder and a curse.
You collapsed against his chest, both of you shaking, breathless, spent.
His arms wrapped around you instantly, holding you tight, still inside you, still warm and pulsing and wrecked.
Neither of you spoke for a while.
But when you finally looked up at him, messy hair in your face, cheeks flushed—
He just smirked and whispered, “Still stealing my hoodies after this?”
You smiled, slow and sweet. “Every single one.”
Your legs still trembled, curled over his hips, when Sunghoon gently kissed your temple.
“You did so good,” he murmured into your hair, voice worn raw and honey-sweet. “But I think you need a bath, baby.”
You groaned something incoherent against his shoulder. “I need new legs.”
He chuckled, low and breathless, then slid his arms under you again. Without warning, he stood—effortlessly lifting you bridal-style, your bare body pressed against his chest, the hoodie still tangled somewhere in the sheets.
“Sunghoon—” you squeaked.
“Shh,” he whispered, kissing your forehead as he padded toward the bathroom. “I’ve got you.”
The bathroom lights were dim—just the warm ambient glow of the under-counter lighting—and the air was already humid by the time he knelt by the tub, one arm still keeping you close while the other twisted the knobs.
Warm water started to fill the space, steam curling up like the start of something sacred.
He set you on the edge of the tub gently and leaned over to pour in something from a bottle—lavender and vanilla, by the smell—and you just sat there watching him, dazed and still pulsing between your legs.
Sunghoon looked up at you from under his lashes, hair messy and lips swollen. “You okay?”
You nodded, still breathless. “You’re… ridiculous.”
He smirked. “You’ve said that twice now.”
“I mean it more this time.”
When the tub was full, he helped you in first, easing your body into the water, then slid in behind you, pulling you back against his chest. His hands roamed lazily—down your arms, around your waist, fingers playing just beneath the surface.
And then his lips pressed to your shoulder.
You tilted your head slightly. “You’re not gonna let me relax, are you?”
He nipped gently at your neck. “I was trying to. You’re the one pressing that pretty ass against me.”
You grinned, hips shifting just enough to hear him hiss.
“Okay,” he growled, arms tightening around your waist. “That’s it.”
He turned you gently in the water until you were facing him, your thighs straddling his lap again beneath the surface. The heat of the water mixed with the slow burn returning in your gut. His chest glistened, wet and warm under your hands.
You dragged your palms up his torso slowly, admiring the cut of his collarbone, the sharp lines of his pecs. Then, without warning, you leaned down and pressed your lips just above his heart.
Sunghoon inhaled sharply.
Your teeth grazed him lightly, followed by your tongue, and then your mouth again—sucking just hard enough to leave a mark.
He groaned, head falling back against the edge of the tub. “Fuck.”
You licked across the red blotch, then moved a few inches over and did it again. His fingers gripped your hips beneath the water now, holding you in place, twitching slightly with every kiss you left on his chest.
“You like when I mark you up, don’t you?” you whispered.
“Yeah,” he rasped. “You have no idea how hot that is.”
You kissed lower, right over his sternum. “Wanna be covered in them?”
His breath hitched. “Only if I get to return the favor.”
You looked up at him through your lashes, eyes wicked. “Then you better sit still.”
You kept going—slow, open-mouthed kisses that turned into suckling marks across his chest, down the dip of his abs, making sure every moan he gave you echoed off the tiled walls.
And when you finally shifted your hips and sank down onto him again—warm, wet, slick from water and need—he nearly lost it.
“God, you feel even tighter like this,” he groaned, head falling forward, forehead resting against yours.
Water sloshed over the sides of the tub as you rode him again—slow this time, deliberately teasing, your hands braced on his shoulders as you whispered sinful little things into his ear and left even more hickeys along his collarbones.
You were in no rush.
You both dragged it out—bodies tangled under the water, teeth grazing skin, low moans bouncing off the foggy mirrors—until he gripped your ass and came with a deep, guttural sound, burying his face into your shoulder.
You followed with a soft gasp, body trembling for the third time, mouth pressed to his neck as your nails dug into his back.
For a long moment, neither of you moved.
You just sat there, still connected, chests rising and falling together, bathwater lukewarm and covered in steam.
Then Sunghoon kissed your cheek and whispered, hoarse and completely blissed out, “You’re never getting this hoodie back.”
The water had cooled enough to make you both shiver a little. Sunghoon noticed first, of course. He always did.
“Okay,” he murmured against your temple. “Up you go, pretty girl.”
You were barely responsive, dazed and boneless in his lap, but you let out a tiny hum as he helped you stand, the water cascading down both your bodies.
He stepped out after you and grabbed one of the oversized towels from the rack. Without a word, he wrapped it around your body from behind, tucking the edges carefully under your arms before pulling you into his chest, your back flush against his warmth.
You felt his lips press to your shoulder, featherlight.
“I should probably dry you off,” he said softly. “But I just wanna hold you for a minute.”
You melted into him instantly, eyes fluttering closed, head resting against his collarbone. “Mmm. You smell good.”
He laughed under his breath. “You smell like me. That’s my body wash.”
“And your hoodie.”
“Exactly. You’re basically mine now.”
You turned your head slightly, meeting his eyes. “Basically?”
His grip on your waist tightened, just enough to make you feel it.
“Unless you’ve got a reason not to be,” he said, voice low, sincere.
You didn’t answer him right away—not with words. You turned around in his arms and wrapped your own around his neck, pulling him in for a kiss. Not frantic this time. Just soft and warm and unhurried, your lips moving with his like they already belonged there.
When you finally pulled back, you whispered, “No reason.”
That made him smile—wide and genuine. “Good.”
He reached for another towel and gently ran it over your legs, your arms, drying you with care. When he reached your chest, he hesitated—smirked—and kissed the bruised skin reverently before patting it dry.
“Still my favorite part,” he mumbled.
“Such a menace.”
Once you were dry, he carried you—again—to the bed, laying you down gently. He tugged on a soft sleep shirt and boxers for himself, then rummaged around until he found a clean hoodie.
He paused.
“You wanna wear this?” he asked, holding it up.
You sat up on your elbows. “Thought you said I wasn’t getting your hoodies anymore.”
“I lied. You can have all of them.”
He pulled it over your head, helping you into it like you were made of glass, then kissed your forehead before climbing in beside you and tugging you against his chest.
It was quiet for a while, the kind of silence that felt full instead of empty.
His fingers traced slow lines down your spine beneath the hoodie. “You tired?”
You nodded, mumbling into his neck. “A little.”
“Wanna sleep?”
You shrugged. “Kind of.”
He shifted slightly, his thigh slipping between yours, his hand settling low on your waist—dangerously close to temptation again.
You tilted your head and whispered, “Sunghoon?”
“Yeah?”
“Don’t take this the wrong way…”
He tensed a little, worried. “What?”
You grinned sleepily. “But I’m definitely stealing another hoodie tomorrow.”
He laughed, pulling you in closer until your leg was hooked around his hip and your bodies pressed flush again.
“I’ll just take my revenge in the morning,” he murmured against your skin.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm. Round four, babe. You better stretch.”
You woke up to the feel of warmth—heavy, solid, draped entirely around you.
Sunghoon’s chest was pressed to your back, one arm tucked under your neck like a pillow, the other curled tightly around your waist. His hoodie was oversized on you, but your bare legs were tangled with his beneath the sheets, and you were acutely aware of something hard nudging against the curve of your ass.
You blinked slowly, a lazy smile tugging at your lips.
“Sunghoon,” you murmured sleepily.
He groaned low in his throat, face buried in your hair. “Mmnn?”
“Are you…?”
Another sleepy shift. The thick press of him grinding instinctively against your backside made your breath hitch. You froze, and he stilled too.
“Shit,” he muttered, voice hoarse with sleep. “Sorry—morning wood. Can’t help it.”
You smirked. “I’m not exactly complaining.”
He laughed quietly, but you felt his hips rock against you again, slower this time, deliberate. “You sure?”
“Positive.”
His lips brushed the back of your neck. “You’re evil. You know that, right?”
You rolled your hips just slightly, teasing, letting the hem of his hoodie ride up your thighs as you pressed back into him.
“Me?” you whispered, feigning innocence. “I’m just trying to get comfortable.”
Sunghoon growled softly and rolled you onto your back, slipping between your legs in one fluid motion. The bulge in his boxers pressed right against your center now, only the thin fabric separating you.
“You’re really gonna keep playing in my hoodie, no panties,” he said, eyes dark with hunger, “and act like you didn’t know what you were doing?”
You looked up at him through heavy lashes, lips parted. “I just like how it smells.”
His jaw clenched, and the way his hips bucked forward told you everything.
“Yeah?” he rasped, leaning in close, lips brushing yours. “You like how I smell?”
You nodded, one hand slipping beneath the hem of the hoodie to palm at his lower abs. “You smell like sex. Like me.”
His breath hitched.
You slid your fingers beneath the waistband of his boxers, wrapping around him slowly. He was hot, hard, twitching against your palm.
“Baby…” he warned.
But you stroked him gently, thumb brushing his tip.
“Come on,” you whispered. “Since you’re already awake…”
He didn’t need any more convincing.
With one hand, he pulled his boxers down just enough. The other hand slid your hoodie up to your waist, revealing the soaked mess between your thighs.
“Look at you,” he muttered, eyes fixated. “Wet already, just from waking up next to me.”
You smirked. “You’re not exactly subtle with that thing pressed against me all night.”
He pressed the head of his cock to your entrance, slowly easing in. You both gasped—your body already welcoming him, warm and wet and soft around him.
His hands slid under your thighs, pushing them up, pressing your knees to your chest so he could sink deeper. The stretch was dizzying.
“Fuck, baby—” he whispered, biting his lip. “You feel unreal like this.”
Your nails scraped at his back, your head falling back against the pillows as he rocked into you with lazy, morning hunger. Deep, slow strokes. No rush. Just the steady rhythm of his body pushing into yours, skin slapping softly, lips finding each other in between gasps.
“You always gonna wake me up like this?” he asked, voice ragged.
You grinned, tugging him closer. “Only if you keep wearing those boxers.”
His laugh turned into a groan as he thrust harder, lips brushing your cheek, your jaw, your mouth again—his hips relentless now, chasing that high you both knew was coming quick.
You moaned into his neck, legs wrapping around his waist.
And when you came—again—Sunghoon held you through it, kissing you like he couldn’t get enough, like you were still wearing his hoodie and nothing else for the rest of his life.
Because maybe you would.
You sat across from him at the little breakfast table, legs tucked under you, hoodie still slipping off one shoulder. Sunghoon had his fork in his hand, but his eyes were not—absolutely not—on the eggs.
They were on you.
Specifically, the way his hoodie dipped low across your chest every time you leaned forward to take a bite.
You bit into your toast slowly, watching his gaze drop. Again.
And then smirked. “You’re staring.”
He didn’t even try to deny it. “You’re teasing.”
You feigned innocence, licking a crumb off your lower lip. “I’m just eating breakfast.”
He tilted his head, squinting at you. “You know exactly what you’re doing.”
You leaned forward on your elbows just a little more—enough that the neckline of the hoodie dipped a few extra inches, revealing the bare curve underneath.
“What, this?” you said, blinking up at him sweetly. “The hoodie rides low. Not my fault.”
Sunghoon visibly swallowed, dropping his fork. “Babe…”
You tilted your head. “What?”
“You’re gonna kill me.”
You pretended to think. “Or maybe I’m just making it fair. You parade around in that tank top for two days and I can’t even exist in a hoodie without you getting handsy.”
He groaned. “That’s different.”
“Is it?”
“You’ve got your boobs out.”
You gasped dramatically, pressing a hand to your chest. “I do not—they’re just slightly visible.”
“Slightly? I can see half the damn thing.”
You giggled and reached for your coffee, watching him glare at the mug like it personally offended him by hiding your cleavage.
“You really have a thing for them, huh?” you teased.
He didn’t even blink. “I admitted that last night. Several times.”
You raised a brow. “And during the bath.”
He smirked, leaning back in his chair with a lazy grin. “And yet I still haven’t gotten enough.”
You licked your spoon slowly. “Poor baby.”
His eyes narrowed. “You’re enjoying this.”
“A little.”
He pushed his plate aside, the muscles in his jaw tightening as he stood up and walked over to your side of the table.
You blinked up at him, all feigned innocence again. “What are you doing?”
He leaned down, both hands on the arms of your chair, trapping you.
“Letting you know,” he whispered, eyes dropping to the neckline of your hoodie again, “that if you keep teasing me like this, you’re not gonna finish that coffee.”
You raised your chin. “Bold of you to assume I wanted to.”
He huffed out a laugh, biting his lip. “You’re evil.”
You tugged on the front of the hoodie, dipping the zipper just a little lower. “And you’re obsessed.”
“Completely.”
Then he dipped down, and for a second you thought he was going to kiss you again—but instead, he buried his face between your boobs, groaning dramatically like a man who’d gone to heaven and back.
“Unbelievable,” you said, laughing breathlessly.
“Your fault,” he mumbled against your chest.
“You’re literally addicted.”
“I’d cancel all my meetings for this.”
You rolled your eyes, running your fingers through his hair. “One day, you’re gonna have to learn to behave.”
He tilted his head back just enough to smirk up at you, still nestled between your boobs.
“And one day,” he murmured, “you’re gonna have to accept that I never will.”

title: riding rafe in his hot tub
warnings: 18+, smut, and lewd language
the warm steam curls thick in the cold figure-eight night air, wrapping around the two of you. the water bubbles against your skin, heated jets pulsing against your back, but none of it compares to the heat of rafe’s hands, gripping your hips, fingers digging into your flesh as you rock against him.
“fuck, baby,” he groans, head tipping back against the edge of the hot tub, eyes hooded, lips parted, watching you like you’re the only thing in the world. “look at you. you just can’t get enough, can you?”
“mm,” you hum, hands braced against his chest, nails teasing over slick, toned muscle. “you say that like you’re not the one begging me to ride you every five seconds.”
rafe smirks, one hand sliding up your spine, gripping the back of your neck, dragging you down until your mouths are just barely apart. “maybe i just like watching you come on my cock.” his voice is low, rough, his breath hot against your lips. “maybe i like knowing you need me just as bad as i need you.”
his words make you shiver, even with the heat of the water and with his body burning against yours. he feels so fucking good inside you, thick and deep, stretching you just right, making your thighs shake every time you move.
“fuck, rafe,” you gasp, rolling your hips, making him groan, making his fingers tighten on your skin.
“yeah, that’s it,” he grits out, pushing his hips up to meet you, the movement forcing a high, breathy whimper from your lips. “you gonna keep teasing me, princess? or are you actually gonna fuck me?”
“oh, i don’t know,” you breathe, nails dragging down his chest, leaning in until your lips brush his jaw. “depends. where are we going for spring break?”
rafe’s laugh is breathless, rough, barely held together. “you wanna talk vacation plans while you’re bouncing on my dick?”
“mm-hmm.” your tongue flicks over his pulse, and he shudders beneath you. “multitasking.”
his grip tightens, a low growl rumbling in his chest as he thrusts up hard, knocking the air from your lungs, making your moan break high and needy. “bahamas,” he rasps, his other hand gripping your ass, guiding you down onto him again. “private beach. just us. no one to bother us.”
“mm, sounds nice.” you grind against him, slow, deep, watching the way his jaw clenches, the way his fingers dig harder into your skin. “who else is coming?”
“sarah’s staying with the pogues,” he says, voice rough, distracted, his gaze locked on where your bodies are joined beneath the bubbling water. “so that means…”
“means what?” you tease, leaning in, biting his lower lip before pulling back, grinning. “we’re gonna be all alone?”
his smirk is slow, dangerous, fucking devastating. “means the dress code is naked. the entire time. not even panties”
his words send a fresh wave of heat flooding through you, pooling low in your belly. you clench around him, and rafe groans, fingers biting into your hips. “fuck, baby, you like the sound of that?”
“maybe,” you pant, rolling your hips, feeling him twitch inside you. “more rafey.....”
rafe’s laugh is low, dark. “princess, you have no fucking idea what you’re in for.”
his grip tightens, and before you can respond, he’s moving, fucking up into you, fast and hard, dragging you down to meet every thrust. the only sounds left between you are gasps, moans, the slap of wet skin, the bubbling water masking just how filthy it all is.
spring break can’t come soon enough.

LaDs: Random Head-Canons
~ these are just random little ideas I have about each love interest, like a previous post I made, most of these have no prior canon lore to back the claim. Just based on vibes.

You and Rafayel plan your arguments. Contrary to popular belief, you two don’t fight often at all. Due to that, you two like to role play arguments for giggles. It usually ends when one of you can’t keep it together and/or the argument turns real. Which usually means it’s time to tap out and do some damage control.
You and Sylus dedicate at least twenty minutes of time before bed to lay together and gossip. It’s like having a sleepover with your bestie. You get settled, face each other, and just go on and on about whoever and whatever until your eyelids are heavy and he can’t stop yawning.
You and Zayne frequently shower together. It’s your favorite way of getting a little quality time in before starting your days. 9/10 times it doesn’t lead to sex either, just soft giggles shared under a warm stream of water while you discuss what your days hold and when to expect the other to arrive home. You even plan out your dinner for the night while shampooing his hair.
You and Xavier garden together. Not that kind of gardening, actual gardening on his balcony with plants you’ve adopted from Jeremiah’s shop. You’ve given them all names, have a detailed care plan hanging on Xavier’s fridge, and the passcode to his apartment if he’s off in a no hunt zone. They’re your babies.
You and Caleb have spa nights. I’m talking mani/pedi, face mask, hair mask, under eye patches, lymphatic massages, the whole nine yards. Caleb shaves your legs for you as a thanks for shaving his stubble since he always cuts his face up. But with your legs? He’s so gentle, so careful, doesn’t miss a single hair. He also rocks the black nail polish you applied to his fingers.
Rafayel takes note of what perfumes you buy, and jots down his thoughts on them. He’s still a little traumatized (heavily turned on) by that one perfume. The one you only have an unlabeled bottle of, the one you use to rile him up. So he takes down the scent notes from your other fragrances to try and compare to the unlabeled bottle but dammit he gets so… distracted that he can only recall one possible note at a time.
Sylus stole one of your trinkets — it was a duplicate figure from a blind box — and keeps it in his pocket whenever he goes out on business. It’s his way of keeping a piece of you with him all the time. The silly little thing makes him smile like a moron when he feels it in his pocket or sets it out on the table before him while he works. He’s named it his “mini kitten” and he’ll send you pictures of it on his travels.
Zayne designed your engagement ring himself one afternoon while listening to a colleague drone on and on about research he already knew by heart. He draws well, steady hands and precise eyes aided him in school when he had to draw out anatomy diagrams. But now? He can doodle for fun and it turns out pretty damn good. So he spent the meeting designing your ring, eager to make it real.
Xavier has a list of baby names saved on his phone. Any time he heard one he liked, he’d open his note app and jot it down. At this point, he has nearly thirty names saved, and has even discussed the topic with you and added some additions. Perhaps he’s too invested now, because all of his recommended items are baby clothes and furniture. It’s giving him baby fever.
Caleb wants to get tattoos but the DAA and the Farspace Fleet have strict policies on them. He still snuck one, a matching one he got with you shortly after you graduated high school. It’s hidden on the inside of his bicep, as is yours, and it’s another little secret the two of you share together.

Zoro is the third friend they often run into and occasionally tags along. Like they're just walking from place to place and passing by the triple sword wielding pirate from the opposite direction who warns them NOT to go that way.
"Don't. Just don't. Save yourselves the trouble, there's a weird ass assassin cult in the mountains who worships a big green puddle."
"Ah so that must be the forgotten city of Atlantis, I see."

Danny was lost. Yes, lost.
“Hey, can you point me in the direction of the bathroom?” He asked a random dude.
“HOW DID YOU GET IN THE BATCAVE?!”
“Jeez no need to yell, I just want to find the bathroom man.”
—
Danny was lost again, damn he has bad luck.
“Hey man, do you know how to get to Crime Alley (or really any other street)?”
“HOW DID YOU GET HERE?! WE’RE 3,000 METERS UNDER THE OCEAN?!”
“My phone won’t work :(“ He says as he looks at his phone, which was not working.
