You know this is a safe space. So since Aizawa is in the public eye again thanks to Vigilantes… I don’t know how much of a Aizawa fan I am. I think it stems from me having some strict teachers that there constructive criticism was Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrr too harsh for what we were doing. I know he has a lot of lovely moments, but idk maybe if he got humbled himself by the students or the other characters. I mean this does feel like a Bakugo situation like “He lost and eye, foot, half of his quirk what more do you want?” Well as we see in the future he doesn’t… change and is still like that so unlike Bakugo he doesn’t have the development moment. It is nice seeing him be a mentor still, but… no foot, not eye, quirk is pretty much gone maybe just humble yourself a little Mr. Aizawa. Idk maybe I’m too sensitive, I don’t hate Aizawa I’m just weird.

#not that i don't like him or anything. i just don't have any particularly strong feelings either way so i rarely post about him #i think u might be upset at smth that was never bound to change which is just his archetypal personality and his role in the story #like. bakugou will always be a little bitchass motherfucker deep in his soul. that's not changing. but he clearly Did Change Otherwise #which is the same with aizawa i feel. with him genuinely caring about his class and raising eri and increasingly defending his kids #maybe u just want aizawa to have a 'bakugou in the rain apologizing to deku' moment ??? which would be nice and all but like #apologies and atonements and even change don't need to happen Only after a verbal confirmation. especially in stories #these things can happen gradually and through actions and it would be just as compelling. my brain would gnaw at it. insanely so #does that make sense 😭#asks for becki
