Funny AU concept! Everyone gets the "arc" (route?) of the person to the right of them (Paranoid -> Smitten (Damsel), Smitten -> Broken (Tower), etc.) I'm sorry if this is a little messy. Distant cloudy thoughts below break.

I came up with the idea in my playthrough where I got the Happily Ever After Epilogue. I had Paranoid with me, and I wondered what it would take for him to actually like the Princess, since he dislikes her so much in his own chapter. I figured, maybe he would want to leave LQ's head, too, after the Narrator messes with it a lot.

Then a couple other things fell into place. I wanted Opportunist to get the Razor route (totally not to torture him...) because I think he would try to take on a leading role but failing over and over, continuously trying to keep a brave face. It'd be different from the regular Razor because people wouldn't want to listen to him either, but they aren't given too much of a choice. I'm not sure if I would want it to end with him breaking down from the stress, or everyone else ganging up on him. Perhaps both.

The idea of Cheated losing the Long Quiet in his version of the Princess and the Dragon is a little bit sad to think about. I think he would still have a lot of qualms about being left behind, and go along with Opportunist the same way Cold did; but I can see him fighting for control a little bit if LQ were to apologize.

Stubborn's idea was fun, to be a kind of beast hunter. At first, he's above her, he's here to fight while the Princess is there to kill. Until it turns into a bloodbath where they're both prey and predator; true adversaries, perhaps.

And then poor Contrarian. More of a pillow than a scarecrow, having to deal with the Moment of Clarity. Maybe he's not learning empathy the way he had originally, but I think he would still have to take things seriously and not let his mind wander...

Not sure what to call this! Wrong Way? Wrong Route? Mismatch?

First time drawing anything for Slay the Princess and these are just two small parts for a much bigger piece as I plan poses and shit before I make them digital for the final piece.

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures but the first one shows the smitten with the Damsel and the second has The Witch with the Opportunist.

Also trying to figure out how I want to differentiate between the different voices of LQ.

Don't know if I'll share the rest of the WIPs as I go but if there's enough interest I probably will.

He doesn't apologize. It doesn't even look like he apologizes, but Larries continue to say he did 13 years later.

Question: If you could snog any artist in the room tonight at the Brits, who would it be?

Harry: Adele, definitely Adele. I might try on the way back.

He then turns to Louis and asks "Is she there?" as in, is Adele at the back? is what he just said (joked about) even possible? To that, Louis kind of shrugs and shakes his head, as if saying, "I don't know."

You can literally read his lips from two different angles. The first video's audio is pretty bad, but with better quality image, the second video has better audio but bad image.

In the first video you can see the way his mouth moves with the "Is she" part of what he's saying. Then Louis' face covers the rest. In the second video you can see that Harry's mouth movement for the part of the sentence covered in the other video is consistent for "there."

There's no "O" movement in his mouth. The mouth movements are consistent with "IS SHE THERE".

Here you have Harry saying "sorry" and a gif of the moment to compare.

Say "Is she there" out loud and you'll see how well it fits. He starts saying "is" before turning his head, with his mouth slightly parted but not moving it much (because you don't need to, to say "is"), then he very obviously says "she" and you can even see him drop his jaw slightly to start saying "there" before Louis' face covers him from frame.

The whole "Louis was jealous so Harry apologized" thing is ridiculous Larrie nonsense that has no basis in reality and makes no sense.

This was revisionist bullshit, by the way. When this happened (February 2012), nobody thought anything of it.

Like 99% of "Larry proof" what happened is that, later (it started off in late 2012, so several months after this happened), conspiracy theorists started to comb through all the video footage we had of Harry and Louis (together and apart, official and fan-taken). They focused on every single second they could milk and made the wildest leaps of logic with every single one of them.

Because it was revisionist bullshit and people were already conditioned to believe in the conspiracy theory, a lot of people didn't question it. Also, at the time, we couldn't really edit video this well on the fly. So a lot of Larries just made gifs—LQ gifs, because Tumblr had a cap on how HQ a gif could be. They captioned those gifs with whatever fanfic they created and they became lore.

In this case, it was "sorry." But this applies to so many "Larry moments."

Harry did not say sorry. He did not apologize to his band mate for making an obvious joke.

So I've been meaning to post this for like two months now, when I had all these silly little happy feelings as I've been going through Yuri's dialogue again and looking through his second Nor interaction with Sodia. So. Guess what.

(Note, this isn't a Sodia bashing post. This is in reference to Yuri being fed up with her and the exact moment he lost his tolerance with her when he was already upset with her, but with a deeper shading from the JP context that couldn't be translated into English, because of English not having alternative ways of saying "you" to someone. It's basically what you already know about that scene and her giving up on Flynn being what sets him off and causes him to refuse her later apology, but with a deeper explanation of that scene (and the apology scene) in its original context.)

Actual meat of the post is below the disclaimer and glossary. Skip them if you wanna hurry along to that part!

Note and disclaimer: Any explanation of JP context here is within the confines of modern day (fictional) media. Do not take this as a JP lesson that you should apply to real life standards. I am not going to go in depth about irl JP usage of any of these terms beyond this section and the glossary, because they don't apply in the same way as their usage in modern day fictional media. That said, I'm not going to bring extra detailed irl JP speech to this post because it's not the reason for the post. Explanations in this post are based off just the amount of detail/depth you need to know for this post. I am not going to go in depth of "this is a rude/polite masculine/feminine term of a word that has x different variants and here's the level of distance between all of them and when you should/should not use them irl". So, just keep in mind that this post is relevant specifically to Yuri, what he uses, why and when, and why it's relevant to Sodia and his relationship with Flynn. This post is about the usage of the term "you" and how Yuri uses it in the game, primarily in his interactions with Sodia. Worth noting, Yuri speaks very roughly and informally, but his intention is not always to be a jerk (there can be exceptions, which are detailed below). When he's actually angry or being hostile, he switches his word usage. There's a couple exceptions I mention below, but otherwise it's business as usual for him and he means no harm. Also worth noting though is that Yuri is... complex as a character in regard to his mannerisms and speech (meaning, he could say something "rude" but still be completely amicable), and you can't really explain him by dumbing him down to his word choice. Talking about that stuff would be entirely an different post though.

To start, as a bit of a glossary so the term explanations don't interrupt the flow of the post:

"Omae" is what he uses for his core group, the LQ residents, the knights, and sometimes even enemy NPCs. This term carries more familiarity with it. With the knights, it could be a combination of two things: he was once a knight so there's familiarity there. Secondly, it could also be a "hey fuck you" implication, i.e. he's being rude on purpose by using a term of familiarity and acting familiar when they're not, which is possibly the case specifically when he uses omae at Ragou, Cumore and some enemy NPCs, as Ragou/some enemies are not even knights, but are people he does not like. Likely, in these cases, it's an intentional disrespect. The knights as a whole is more up in the air - especially since he doesn't actually have deeply negative feelings toward Leblanc, for example, and their relationship by the end of the game is relatively amicable.

"Anta" indicates a distance/lack of familiarity, and he uses this with most people in the game, barring his core group and the knights. While people will tell you anta is rude in irl cases, this is both modern fictional media and Yuri himself, and I don't believe Yuri is trying to be rude to every stranger he meets so much as this is simply how he talks. He's rough in his speech and extremely casual, but I don't believe that he's trying to go around offending strangers based on his actual context toward people. Again, welcome to fictional media. Also, Yuri initially refers to Estelle and Judith as "anta" and switches to "omae" when they're not really strangers anymore. NOTE: anta not to be confused with anata, which is another, more formal and polite way of saying "you" irl, and can also be used as a term of endearment between couples. Only reason I'm bringing this one up is to avoid confusion there, as Yuri doesn't use this term.

Teme is a vulgar/aggressive way of saying "you" that in this case retains that intention (usually is translated to something like "bastard", unless it's a term the character uses by default). Yuri referring to people this way indicates he's angry with them, as this is not his default version of "you" for anyone. I say "this case" because in anime/JRPGville, what can be considered rude is not necessarily seen as such in-universe, and because there are characters like, you know, Don, who use "teme" all the time and aren't even angry. Context and understanding the character themselves is an important distinction when it comes to how they speak in video games/anime).

Basically, Yuri uses "omae", "anta", and "teme" throughout the game. While irl, these would all be considered rude (and even saying "you" to anyone period irl in Japan is pretty rude. They use people's names instead), again, it has to be remembered this is modern fictional media, and Yuri speaking that way to people doesn't mean he's trying to be rude. He uses some rude/demanding terms, but you can hear in his voice if he's just being casual, chill, if he's actually angry, and so on. There are ways to tell what Yuri's mood is or his feelings that don't necessarily reflect in his speech. In the case with Sodia, I'm bringing it up because it's one of the very few actual times you can tell by his word choice that his opinion of someone has changed.

ACTUAL POST STARTS HERE LOL.

After Sodia stabs Yuri, the next time they see each other, she's already on thin ice with him, and it's noticeable... but it's the moment she gives up on Flynn, or at least, the moment she admits to giving up on Flynn and then saying what she's done up until then (including stabbing Yuri) has been for his sake that Yuri refuses to tolerate her anymore.

Prior to this moment, Yuri refers to her using "omae". I believe he only directly uses any form of "you" to Sodia specifically one time, and the one time I know of for a fact is when they find her at Heracles, but it is what he uses even for her.

Despite that he never liked Sodia, he did tolerate her, and that tolerance was string thin after the stabbing.

Yuri uses omae oneeee more time when he asks her what everything she's done has been for, just after she expresses her assumption that Flynn won't make it. So in order, she's saying that Flynn won't make it, Yuri asks what she's been doing all this for, and she says it's been for Flynn's sake. It's all been for Flynn's sake, yet she's given up on his survival... and that's what truly sets Yuri off. Yuri immediately switches to "teme".

Literally, her daring to claim it was all for Flynn and yet give up on his survival so easily immediately snapped the last bit of tolerance he was willing to give her, right down to the way he refers to her when speaking to her.

Sodia:

しかし……時が経ちすぎた…… 隊長はもう…… However... it's been too long by now (lit: too much time has passed)... Commander Flynn is already...

Here she's giving up. She's assuming Flynn is going to die if he hasn't already (note, she could be trailing off before saying "Flynn is already (likely) dead", but also "Flynn is already surrounded by now and there's no way he'll make it". She's not necessarily literally saying Flynn is dead, but she's implicating he's either dead or going to be soon.

The localization made an even middle ground with this by using "must be...", though it also has her saying "we're too late" first, which is a confusingly decided statement mixed with a "probably" type of statement. The best middle ground would be more like "It's been too long by now/too much time has passed by now/we're probably out of time... Commander Flynn must be...").

When Yuri asks her what she's doing this for...

Yuri:

諦めちまったのか？ おまえ、何のために今まで やってきたんだよ？ Have you given up? What have you (omae) been doing this for all this time?

Sodia snaps that one last thread.

私は！　私はあの方…… フレン隊長のために！ I...! I did it for him (lit: for that person, respectful use of "person")... For Commander Flynn's sake!

あの時だって…… Even that one time (lit: even that time)...

Keep in mind, there is no further dialogue from Yuri between this exchange. He switches usage without hesitation, like a switch being flipped.

Yuri:

ふん。めそめそして てめえの覚悟忘れて 諦めちまうやつに Hmph. So you're (temee) someone who just cries, forgets their resolve and gives up completely.

フレンのためとか言わせねぇ Don't you dare say it's for Flynn's sake. (lit: don't say it's for Flynn's sake) (giving it flair because of the obvious mood he's in, on top of the fact that him switching from "omae" to "teme" indicates he's extremely angry right now. Yuri tends to use "teme" when someone really pisses him off (he uses it with the Hunting Blades more than once) - especially noticeable with Sodia when he's been pretty chill around her despite her constant attempts to arrest him at the worst times, hence my more strongly worded version).

Note that the localization swapped these two lines for some reason and wrote them differently accordingly, but the original Japanese is in the written order here. Yuri doesn't go from "omae" to "Flynn no tame" to "teme". He goes from "omae" to "teme" outright. There's literally no hesitation, second thought, or sentence as a whole between it; as if that "teme" is coming right from his gut on instinct. Rather than, "you say it's all for Flynn, but...", here it gives off the vibe of, "don't even say that".

Later in the game, when Sodia stops Yuri to apologize to him, she actually refers to him as "Yuri-dono", attaching an honorific to his name, thus referring to him respectfully (and a high level of respect no less). Previously she would refer to him by his full name whenever spoken, only having one in between moment (referring to him simply by his first name when Yuri was leaving Nor). Here, she doesn't just drop his last name, but attaches respect to his first name outright (which the localization could have included, unlike the omae/teme issue). Since using "lord" or "master" wouldn't make sense in this context, the translation would be closer to "sir".

So, essentially, she's stopping him saying "sir Yuri", but in a cleaner English situation, it would be more like, "Yuri, sir...". Honorifics can be tricky in English, but in this case it's a deeply important moment for her character and shows just how much she's opened her eyes, and is possible to generally get across by having her refer to him as "sir" - denoting respect to him.

On the other hand, Yuri doesn't revert back to "omae". In this particular situation*, he's using "anta" as a statement. He's letting her know without saying it directly that his opinion of her has changed and he's not feeling casual enough in her presence anymore to hide that. He's annoyed with her and he's letting it show out in the open to her.

*I say "in this particular situation" because Yuri uses "anta" for strangers and people he's not close to normally anyway. In such cases, that's just the term he uses and it's not meant to mean he's upset at those people. However, in this case, he's using it coming from "omae". You could basically say it's a downgrade that he's verbally expressing right to her face. His opinion of her has dropped and he's not being subtle about it to her face. Basically, since Yuri speaks roughly/informally to begin with, you have to understand him as a person to figure out where he's actually mad/feeling differently. He could use the rudest term, but if that's just regular, happy and/or chill Yuri, you have to be able to discern that from his changes in speech.

This is not unheard of from him in the opposite direction either, as when he meets Estelle and Judith, for example, he refers to them as "anta", eventually using "omae". In that sense, you could say they got closeness upgrades. Meanwhile, he's distancing himself from Sodia and making it clear they are not friends and for her not to be familiar with him.

He's not mad enough at the moment to use "teme", but he doesn't go back to "omae" with her (and in the context of the game timeline, ever again). Though he does make his feelings pretty clear outright to her, the usage of "you" he's using toward her is a pretty assertive indirect way of expressing those feelings too.

...But then she sets him off again when she asks him what she should do after her confession of guilt... and he reverts back to using "teme". Once again, a split second decision. Once again, there is no dialogue of his between when he uses "anta" with her and when he immediately switches back to "teme". What I love about both these scenes is that you can literally tell the exact moment he's pissed again (not just, his opinion of her has changed. You can tell when he's actually just fed up with the conversation/her. Not all characters would be comfortable enough to use these terms even to people they're angry with) because of the way he refers to her.

What I find so important here is that he's not just not being swayed to use "omae" again after her apology and respect. It's also expressing that what she did (giving up on Flynn. Remember, he didn't stop using "omae" after she stabbed him. He switched when she gave up on Flynn/his survival) was so bad in his mind that he refuses to revert to it.

Yes, he's mad she stabbed him and isn't about to forgive her for that; but again, this all started because of her assumptions about Flynn not making it. She said she'd done everything so far for him, so it's like saying she did all that, worked so hard, did as much as she could for him... only to stop and drop all of that fervor the moment it looks like he might not possibly survive. She put in all that effort and energy, and it was that simple for her to call it quits. They got this far, but one particularly bad day made her give up.

And in the moment, yes, that set Yuri off, so sure, of course he switched when he was that angry... but this scene here proves that even when Yuri had had time to cool his head, and even after seeing that Flynn was okay... he still didn't just feel better with her (re: anta). He was still harboring aggravation for what she'd done. She pushed him with her grieving here though, and he once again had enough, once again using teme.

The stabbing is an afterthought. It's the way she claimed what she'd done was for Flynn's sake but couldn't believe in him when he needed that belief. How she did all these things, including bad things such as stabbing Yuri for Flynn's sake, but when it comes to Flynn's own life, she cowers. Perhaps to Yuri, how is it for Flynn's sake, then?

(And to add a layer onto that, if she'd rushed to find Yuri, with belief that Flynn would survive and get help, it would help her be more likely to make it in time. But dragging her feet? Assuming the worst from the get go? That could have actually killed Flynn, and I believe Yuri is fully aware of that. If that did happen, I fully believe he would place the blame on Sodia's shoulders, whether it was "entirely" her fault or not. If her speed could've saved him but she dragged her feet, yes, I truly think he would blame her for that.)

Even in the face of an honorific and a sincere apology from a person who vehemently hated him, well, you gave up on Flynn so it doesn't matter what you call me or say to me now.

But yeah uh, tl;dr, that scene of him finally having had enough of Sodia's behavior went slightly deeper in JP. Mans was ready to verbally throw hands for her lack of faith in Flynn.

Which is a struggle for you. Every little argument that occurs he asks if you are breaking up with him...sometimes you just had enough and say yes before leaving. But every single time he apologizes. You forgive him because he usually learns from his mistakes and won't do it again. looked up what LQ meant cause I had no clue what it is and still don't

Haechan (FWB relationship because one can't commit): I feel like he would be in a friends with benefit situation because he's really busy but wants to get some stress relief if you know what I mean. Tells himself he can't commit because he's too busy and it will just be another distraction. Says all of this but will definitely fall first. Gets all jealous when you bring up going on a date with someone or hooking up with someone else. He would 100% become very clingy out of nowhere and make you question your feelings

Mark (Works too much): i feel like this one was a given…this boy is always doing something. But he wouldn't want a FWB relationship because he likes having a connection with someone. He would apologize constantly even though you told him it was okay. Basically moved all his stuff to your apartment so when he gets home he can see you even just for a little bit. Definitely expect a lot of love songs written about you.

Chenle (Relationship where one is always childish): but in a good way, he feels comfortable around you. Most of the time you guys have a playful relationship; playing video games, board games, forces you to play basketball, and watch the games. But he also has a serious side to him. If you are having a bad day he will try to make you laugh but when you don't even crack a smile, he knows it's serious and will spoil you with what every you need.

Jeno (Strictly business arranged relationship): I feel like either him or Jaemin would be asked to be in an arranged relationship for the public eye but Jaemin would be against it. Jeno wouldn't really care. But he didn't know just how much time you two had to spend together because this boy is gonna fall...and he's gonna fall HARD. Gets delulu and basically acts like you are in a relationship all the time even when you're not in public. Prepare to be confused!!!

So, this is inspired by @tai-janai's new Slay the Poet AU, where LQ has to rescue the Narrator and is being guided by Shifty. I saw their idea post, and my brain demanded that I put my own spin on it, so... yeah. Go check out their AU, though, it's probably gonna be better than mine and it actually has drawings.

I've already typed out the overarching plot (tldr, Shifty's the player and LQ is the "guide," and Narry is a professor who's trapped in a library in an abandoned city), but here's what I think the Narrator's chapter 2 vessels would be like:

The Wizard: You get the Wizard if you don't go into the library's basement with the knife, you make the decision to free the Professor, and you resist when the Guide makes the desperate choice to take over your body (while repeatedly apologizing over and over in your mind). The Wizard is unflinchingly kind and has that classic Disney-fairytale whimsy about him, and will always encourage you no matter what you do---and is the only one who undoubtedly means you no harm. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Apprentice, who believes that the Professor is a learned and wise soul who can teach us everything, and we must listen to him.

The Warlock: You get the Warlock if you don't go into the library's basement with the knife, make him think you're going to free him, and kill him---either via getting the knife or letting the Guide take you over and winning the ensuing struggle. The Warlock is a slightly draconic being who is devious and cunning, but very clearly bitter towards you, and there's no doubt that he's thirsting for revenge. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Charming, who uses flattery and deceit to get her way, and encourages you to do the same to the Professor---after all, we did it once, and we can do it again, can't we?

The Creation: You get the Creation if you immediately kill the Professor, attempt to leave and fail (which causes the Guide to panic, saying that this wasn't how it was supposed to happen and he doesn't know what's wrong), and kill yourself once you see no other way out. The Creation is a stitched-up, reanimated corpse who somehow managed to bring himself back, and he's a lonely soul who just wants you to set him free. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Restless, who's a listless and tired individual who's aching for things to change... and whether or not we choose to help the Professor or not is entirely up to us.

The Scientist: You get the Scientist if you go into the basement---either armed or unarmed---talk with him, and decide to just leave him there... except, if you do, he'll figure a way out, and he'll electrocute you with a single touch. The Scientist is every bit the sadistic mad genius, and while he knows full well that he needs you in order to get out, he sees no problem with torturing you if that's what it takes---and he's incredibly transparent about his desire to end you once he's finally free. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Doll, who claims that she's not scared and that everything is fine, but is very bad at lying and is clearly shaken by everything the Professor does.

The Academic: You get the Academic if you go down into the basement with the knife, talk with him, attempt to kill him... and when he fights back, you submit. The Academic is self-absorbed, condescending, and controlling, believing himself to be superior to you in every way---and he soon proves that he's not just some entitled asshole, as he's able to take control of you with his words alone. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Humbled, who is openly terrified of the Professor and sees no problem with just doing what he says.

The Archivist: You get the Archivist if you go down into the basement with the knife, decide to free him instead, and resist when the Guide takes you over. The Archivist, who is free from his chains but is unable to escape without your help, has nothing better to do other than to reorganize and catalog the books in the library, and has become incredibly cynical and emotionless as a result. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Curious, who constantly asks questions and wants to look further into random things---something that at first seems irritating, but you eventually realize just how helpful she can be...

The Doctor: You get the Doctor if you go down into the basement with the knife, talk with him, attempt to kill him, and fight him until neither of you can fight anymore. The Doctor openly hates you and sees you as his only obstacle, and will engage you in combat whether you want to or not---and once you fight back, you discover that no matter how brutally you fight, he knows just how to set his organs back to normal, and he knows just how to wreck yours. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Hateful, who wants nothing more than to crush the Professor to a pulp and make him suffer.

The Dragon: You get the Dragon if you go down into the basement without the knife, decide to free him, and don't resist when the Guide takes you over---though you do let the Professor win, in the end. The Dragon is the most beastlike and inhuman of the vessels, and all he wants is to devour you so that he may escape. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Warrior, and she knows exactly how to fight him so that you can make it out of there alive... but be sure to listen to her, because ignoring her warnings could end very badly.

The Inventor: You get the Inventor if you either kill him immediately and check to see if he's dead, or if you question for one second whether or not he's armed... either way, you soon discover that you've brought a knife to a gunfight. The Inventor is cheerful yet murderous, and has several contraptions up his sleeves that are designed to end you---in all sorts of fun and exciting ways. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Prepared, who's quick on her feet and can easily improvise ways to evade the Professor's onslaughts.

The Substitute: You get the Substitute if you avoid going to the library entirely, and instead choose to wander the city---resulting in the city reverting entirely to libraries. Because of this, the Substitute starts off as nothing more than a blank slate of a man, and gets more and more jumbled and confused the more you attempt to talk to him. The voice you gain in your head is the Voice of the Rebel, who doesn't really have a goal other than to just goof off and have fun---making choices for choice's sake.

ZZS continues his story and in response to what he heard from LQ, states that the truth about the Zhen family was somewhat different. Surprised, LQ asks if everyone thought ZRY was a traitor, he explains that ZRY devoted his entire life to saving people. LQ says that thanks to him thousands of people survived, he states that there is no one in the whole world as noble as Brother Zhen. ZZS looks at WKX, who looks very moved by LQ's words. LQ continues that it was ZRY's nobility and kindness that made him a bad fit in this lousy world. LQ sadly says that when this news reached the Longuan Sect, Mrs. Zhen had already disappeared, taking with her her crippled husband and young child. In a flashback, we see GMM dragging a crude stretcher with ZRY lying unconscious on it, with their son walking beside her. ZZS adds, turning to LQ, that it is said in Jianghu that the Longyuan Sect also has another way to open the Arsenal. He asks if LQ spread this rumor. The old man nods, confirming ZZS's words. ZZS states that LQ was afraid that the Jianghu masters would not abandon their bandit plans and would continue to pursue the Zhen family, so he took all the trouble upon himself. ZZS continues, saying that LQ sacrificed the promising future of his sect and moved it to where it is now. ZZS adds that it is because of this that LQ is suffering so much today. LQ sighs and says that the situation has not worsened, but not much has changed. He adds that it was the only solution he could think of. There is nothing else he could do for them. WKX looks at the old man with gratitude in his eyes. LQ sadly states that he never heard from ZRA and his family again. LQ says that he tried to find them but failed. He adds that he only hopes that they have hidden away somewhere and are living peacefully without getting involved in all the chaos and confusion. WKX is very touched and it shows on his face, and ZZS continues to watch him. ZZS tells LQ that LQ sacrificed so much for his friend. YBY also listens to this attentively in silence. ZZS explains that LQ's loyalty and faithfulness are similar to those in the story of Zuo Bo Tao and Yang Jiao Ai. ZCL is also touched by LQ and ZZS's words, ZZS continues by saying that having a friend like LQ in their life, even in the world of the dead, they will have no regrets. LQ turns to YBY and tells him that he did not hide the truth from him. He adds that he is simply not sure where the key is. He explains that although he promised RX that he would send the key to YBY's Arsenal back, he was unable to do so. He says that he really wanted to, but he didn't have the strength, and states that he hopes YBY will forgive him, and folds his hands in a ceremonial gesture. YBY replies that LQ has nothing to apologize for. YBY turns away from the old man and walks forward, saying that RX was a fool, just like LQ. ZZS's story is not only to learn more about the whole story behind Arsenal, but more importantly to confirm ZZS's suspicions about WKX himself. Therefore, ZZS, while talking to LQ, constantly observes WKX's behavior. WKX finally hears the truth and learns that LQ sacrificed a lot to save the Zhen family, he tries to sort it all out because he knows that he did a lot of wrong. YBY is also surprised, but keeps a straight face. For LQ, this trip back in time is a kind of catharsis. We are still dealing with the beautiful game of ZZH and GJ, which required great acting skills from them.

anyways hi kids, I am. feeling marginally better, helped by a 4 day weekend that included one day where I basically slept til 3:30 pm. 🥲 whoops

I started taking 500mg of metformin last week, as my doc thinks I actually DO have pcos (since I have 2 of 3 qualifying symptoms and that’s all you need) and my fatigue could be related to insulin resistance? which tracks, considering my family’s medical history… anyways its kinda working, I guess, we’ll see how it goes. I did also have to start taking fiber tho to combat the side effects of the metformin, lol, so. feeling hopeful that this’ll do literally anything to help me!

in other news my wife and I are slowly but surely working our way thru Dawntrail MSQ, just finished the first dungeon! It was actually pretty solid as far as dungeon design goes, altho I’m not the biggest fan of “you are on a moving platform and things come to fight you”, but it was a short section soooo no biggie.

anyways yeah, my apologies for lq suddenly taking a months break 🥲 I apparently only have energy for like 1-2 non-work things a day… ah well

Her readings undermined the narrative 🐟 backers were trying to push and like many others involved in this saga who disagreed with the "Team Real Narrative" she ended up harassed and bullied a lot by them
