Lupin had, for the better part of two years, been working on a space ship. Most of it had been ‘borrowed’ parts from those damn bastards that had been abducting him and Koyuki. If he got it working, there may be a chance they could find their kid.

Or explore space as a whole.

Both were good options.

Probably a good time to update Koyuki on his progress, now that he thought about it.

[Koyuki’s eyes went wide as she felt the light crunch of someone’s nose on the other end of her fist, and she pulled back in horror. Oh, shit, she’d nailed him right in the face.]

Oh my god. I’m so sorry… Phineas right? Are you alright?!

[He is still FULL attiter. Don’t mind him. Hands were coming up to his nose, though. Tipping his head back. Waving it off with a free hand.]

Oh, I don’t know. Probably.

[Sniffed hard to get the blood situation figured out. Feeling out the bones and cartilage. Humming once in his throat before giving it a good hard nudge back where it should be. Feeling out the alignment and pressing it all even further into place. Had some practice in that. And didn’t have a pain limiter to how much he could mess with it.

He'd been in his tinkering room when it happened, trying to wash off bad vibes from his earlier argument with Koyuki.

But one minute he was there, the next it looked like some kind of opperating table. At first he thought he must have fallen asleep on his desk - he hadn't been sleeping much, and that this was some weird dream or nightmare.

He couldn't move, and it wasn't because he was strapped down. He couldn't feel anything. And that was the thing. He couldn't feel anything. All he could do was roll his eyes around and listen to the foreign sounds surrounding him.

"Ko-Koyuki?" his voice broke out, hoarse and dry. He had cotton mouth, for sure. He didn't know why he thought about calling for her. Why would she be here? but then there was a startling familiar realization that this happened before. A dreaded deja vu.

His blood ran cold. He knew he was shiving. He could see his body trembling. Goosebumps rising. And he saw them. Gray, nearly translucent skin, heads too big, skinny bodies, not quite human, no, not human at all. They were communicating above him, he could tell, but he couldn't hear them.

Shit. Why was this happening now? 

He gave a quiet groan, akin to a whimper. He prayed she wasn't here too.
