i realized i pretty much exclusively enjoy male characters when they come in one of two heavily traumatized flavors. and he has to be either: A) the domineering aggressor, infallible abuser, perpetrator of patriarchal (often sexual) violence, who is deeply repressed and merely continuing the cycle of male violence foisted onto him in childhood, OR B) a thoroughly un-sexed male victim, meek and pathetic and pliable, typically coded as a child because of dubious nymphet waifery and/or lack of bodily autonomy, who exploits their perceived helplessness in service of MALEVOLENT REVENGE

I don't really like the headcanons that transport ships to their ancestors or family members. Things like Wolfstar with Orion x Lyall or Jegulus with Walburga x Euphemia. But.

Imagine Sirius Black II, all arrogance and pureness, falling in love with Armand Lupin, a bright wizard who has to deal with his parent's drug use and raise his siblings at the same time. Imagine Hesper Gamp, being a nice but lordly witch, falling for Anne-Marie Potter, the perfect daughter who tries to hide her sexuality from the world. What if Sirius and Hesper's marriage were a lavender marriage, both of them having their partners but at the same time loving each other, just not romantically. Anne and Armand marrying too, both knowing they could take care of each other and Armand's siblings, who were still little.

Sirius and Hesper's children being practically siblings with Armand and Anne's daughter. Said daughter, June, being there when Regulus (I)'s marriage imploded and the horrible things his wife did were revealed.

If you are a marauders fan you should really consider reading/watching the vampire chronicles/Interview with the vampire. Louis is such a Remus variant, Lestat is a Sirius variant. Loustat is wolfstar variant. Armand is a Regulus variant. Daniel is a James variant. Armandaniel is jegulus variant. Loumand is moonwater variant.

BIOGRAPHY

Draco Lucius Malfoy (b. June 5th, 1980) was a pure-blood wizard and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy (née Black). The son of a Death Eater, Draco was raised to strongly believe in the importance of blood purity. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991-1998 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During his years at Hogwarts, he became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and other fellow Slytherins, but he quickly developed a rivalry with Harry Potter.

He was made a prefect of his house and was a member of the Inquisitorial Squad during his fifth year, at the end of which his father was imprisoned in Azkaban following the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Lord Voldemort charged Draco with making up for Lucius's failure, and he became a Death Eater at age sixteen, but was quickly disillusioned with the lifestyle. Draco was unable to complete his task of murdering Albus Dumbledore, which was later taken over by Severus Snape, and only performed his other duties fearfully and reluctantly. He and his family defected hours before the end of the Second Wizarding War, fearing for their lives.

The events of Draco's teenage years forever changed his life. He had the beliefs in which he had grown up challenged in the most frightening way, had experienced terror and despair, witnessed his parents suffering for their allegiance, and had witnessed the crumbling of all that his family had believed in. Draco and his family avoided imprisonment in Azkaban due to their last-minute switch in allegiance. Lucius found his son as affectionate as ever, but refusing to follow the old pure-blood line.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!!! To celebrate it I'll probably make a few posts this month, but I'm gonna start by saying what members of the House of Black are LGBT :)

Arcturus Black I - he was asexual and aromantic. He never really showed romantic or sexual interest in anyone, and he thought he just didn't have the capacity to do it.

Belvina Black I - she was bisexual. She had a thing for her childhood best friend, Beatrice Malfoy, until a little before graduating from Hogwarts. After that, she married Herbert Burke, whom she loved very much.

Sirius Black II - he was gay. He had a relationship with Armand Lupin during most of his life. Both of them were married to women who were also lesbians and in a relationship with each other.

Cassiopeia Black - she was a lesbian. She never had a serious relationship with anyone, she took advantage of the closed off and homophobic pure-blood circles to have secrets relations with closeted married women.

Sirius Black III - he was gay. He had a serious relationship with Remus Lupin until he was convicted, and when he escaped they returned for a bit until Sirius died.

Regulus Black II - he was transgender and gay. He had a crush on Barty Crouch Jr. for most of his life, even if Barty never reciprocated. He realized he was trans when he was 12 and his parents supported him because that meant they had another son.

Ganymede Black - she is transgender. She realized at 25 after exploring her gender expression for a few years, and received the support of most of her family.
