Hmm. Arthur getting badly injured and Noel patching him back up, but John is clinging to Noel the whole time with his hand because Arthur is unconscious and he can't talk or see or do anything or even help Arthur w/o Noel's guidance (and Noel does guide John to help patching Arthur back up, for both their sakes), and then afterwards Noel sits next to them keeping an eye on Arthur and holding John's hand (fingers on the pulse point of his wrist to assure John he can feel Arthur's heartbeat, because otherwise John would be glued to Arthur's chest even more than he usually is when they sleep)

But I also had to draw the Totally Normal Trio of Human Men, because I love them dearly.

I've been thinking a lot about faroe recently

Anyways. In my mind John doesn't really get fully comfortable in using the hand he controls purely for his own sake until like, early s5 (witch therapy session) canon timeline. So I am also imaging in post s4 happily ever after AU, Noel getting to play a role in breaking John out of his shell with that. Just little bits of casual physical affection and the like, handshakes, patting John's arm, waving at each other, maybe even a kiss to the back of his hand.

Which then prompts Arthur and John to actually talk about navigating bodily autonomy stuff for once, when John is hesitantly very excited about this but still nervous about stepping on Arthur's toes, while Arthur is just thrilled at the opportunity for John to have agency and self expression through that
