"You can always come with me?"

"adventure." She giggled "I did everything my dad asked so as a graduation present I got the travel photography contract for his magazine. He's bought me a VW and I'm get to drive around the country taking cute pictures." She explained.

Jacob's eyes widened, surprise, and a little bit of excitement in his expression. he knew about her love of photography, and that she was working hard towards that, but didn't realise it was actually happening. he was honestly super happy for her, and proud that she got that chance "That's… that's amazing y/n. I sat under the tree trying to dig around under the tree looking for my presents looking around at all the little perfectly wrapped gifts checking all the tags.

“Y/n? What are you doing?” I heard Asa ask behind me so I came out from under the tree him stood in his shorts and his loose-fitting white shirt his arms crossed over his chest as he looked at me

“where are we?” I asked

“Come on” he smiled offering his hand so I got out the car and took his hand as he leads me to the door of the house knocking a couple of times and the door opened

“Yep, Just uhh she doesn’t know” Asa laughed indicating to me 

“Awww I see well come on though she’s all ready for you” The man smiled as we headed to the house and to a small room where on a little pillow surrounded by toys I saw a little black

“KITTEN!” I smiled excitedly kneeling on the floor next to the pillow as the little kitten woke up opening its big blue eyes to see me, the little kitten got up and came over crawling into my lap 

“Like her?” Asa asks

“She’s so pretty” I smiled

I sat playing animal crossing on my switch chaseing a little butterfly across the map when the sweet spring sky darkened and I heard cracking across the sky, I put my switch down and went to the screen door when a flash of light erupted from the sky making em jump back from the glass as the rain began to batter the garden a little while after I heard the horrible cracking and banging as if the sky itself had was breaking apart I grabbed a blanket hiding from the horrible noise

"Awwww no need to worry Hun, there's nothing to be scared off" Asa smiled pulling the blanket away from me "it's so sweet you still get scared" he smiled

"I'm not scared" I argued but another flash came the echoing rumbling getting louder and closer so I grabbed him tight

"Nawww you are so cute Hun" he smiled kissing my head, he turned all the lights off and lit a couple candles setting them on the window sil, he opened the small window letting the noise of the pattering of rain onto the walls and garden furniture much more apparent, he put my switch away in its dock and to charge and turned it off he turned on a little salt lamp sitting it on the coffee table so the only light teh flicking I candles and the orange glow of a salt lamp, with the occasional flashes of lightning, the puffs of wind pushing thought the open window before lightning would illuminat the sky he sat beside me on the sofa tucking the Blanket around us, getting another to wrap around our shoulders, he put his arms around me letting me wrap my own around his skinny chest he held me tight and securely kissing my head as lightning came so he could squeeze me when thunder erupted,

So we sat cuddled together in this sweet golden light, with the lightning illuminating everything for breif seconds the thunder erupting like a distant volcano but no matter how scared I felt Asa was there holding me close.
