I drew it in CorelDraw, and what can I say... I'm not drawing anything in Corel by my own will again.

Рисовал я в CorelDraw, и что я могу сказать... В кореле я больше по своей воле ничего рисовать не буду.

It can change length of both its segments, just like Steven's staff does, and gauntlets can be detached if needed, for example to reveal a sharp spike, or to be thrown at enemy! in this scenario two additional effects also take place: Garnet's rocket gauntlets and Steven's energy blast!

Как и посох Стивена Это оружие может менять длину, а перчатки можно отсоединить, чтобы обнажить острый шип или запустить их во врага! В последнем случае также активируются сразу две способности: ракетные перчатки Гранат и Энергетический выстрел Стивена!

I haven't figured out what the fusion themselves would be like, but I imagine them to swing it around like a VERY heavy kung-fu stick and sometimes use it as a hammer.

Fun fact: I got this idea more than a year ago, on Aug 15, 2022! (no idea why I remember this lol) At some point I was even scared that by the time I finish this Steven and Garnet will already fuse in the comic XD Забавно, но этой идее уже больше года! Она пришла мне в голову 15 августа 2022 года! (Без понятия почему я это помню хввх) Какое-то время я даже боялся, что к тому моменту, когда я это доделаю, Стивен и Гранат уже сольются XD

I also got some ideas for Steven X Rose, so maybe I'll draw this too sometime! But not soon.

Well, Ronaldo guessed about the Diamond Authority early on in the show so maybe it's a general conspiracy theory in universe that just happens to be true (even if some details are muddied up due to humans having little context or actual knowledge of how the gems work).

Ronaldo got the idea seeing it on a dollar bill, kinda like how "proof" of the illuminati is the eye above the pyramid on the American dollar bill.

At least that's what I figured anyway.

I wanted to ask. How "canon" are the Asks that appear in the comic? Like, some of them are simply like, "How's your friend Connie", and then the comic would be about her. But it's general enough where the story would progress regardless if the question canon or not.

And I mostly ask this because I distinctly remember an Asker asking Steven if he knew what the Diamond Authority was.

So if the Asks aren't really canon, and just help illustrate the story, that's fine. But if they are canon, then how does a random Tumblr user know about the Diamond Authority? 🤨

Ahh, it's just something that I thought was funny, but it probably doesn't mean much in hindsight. 😅

You are absolutely right about the fact that it doesn't mean much in hindsight...

I think that ask about the diamond authority was one of the only ones that I let slip through, for the sake of having Steven act confused about it, because I've been otherwise pretty diligent about not answering meta asks.

The truth is that the asks ARE meant to be canon - they're all supposed to be from people who are reading Steven's blog, and are only really aware of things that have currently happened in the comic.

(That's why, if you sent me an ask about something like Rose's identity or the other diamonds, I have chosen to ignore it. I won't let askers hop the narrative fence of the 4th wall.)

But yes, you're right....it's not been really all that consistent.

I'm a fan of the white diamond AU of steven universe and it also is the reason of why I am back into the community of Steven universe anyway as now I got more into this story than the serie itself.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

I recently finished a crunch of work and decided to take it easy, so I did a silly little drawing on the White Diamond AU mixed with my passion for Byzantinology (And honestly Earl rock that uniform). It's a really wild mix and it's far from great, but it was fun to do.

This universe is the fruit of the extraordinary work of @ask-whitepearl-and-steven (Chekov).

And if Chekov see this ! I have to say something.

Someone asked @ask-whitepearl-and-steven when the next Fanartpalooza should be, and I say FUCK IT, why not now? It's February, we got valentines day. Spread the love! February Fanartapalooza!

For me, since I was on a loooong car ride and itching to read something new and draw something on my phone, I drew @su-homeworldraisedau version of Steven but attempting to still be in the art style of the show (I nicked a background from the show, forgive me, I'm not THAT insane to do backgrounds on my phone) I'm excited to see the differences in Steven's new upbringing and eventually white diamonds involvement in all this.
