A/N: I don't really feel like doing all the classic eps in chronological order. I hope you don't mind. This episode's creepy!
Stepney the Bluebell boy works closely with his friend Rusty. One day, Sir Topham Hatt came to see him.
"Rusty tells me you're in need of a change. So I want you to help Toby and Mavis at the quarry."
"Oh, thank you sir," said Stepney. "Shall I be away long?'
"Just today. But please be careful. It is easy to get lost up there so be back before dark."
"We will. Let's go!" called Ruby, Garnet and Sapphie. Stepney and his animal friends soon arrived at the quarry.
"We're glad you're here to help us," said Toby.
"Are these my trucks?" asked Stepney
"Only some of them. There's more in the sidings." replied Mavis.
Ruby: The more the merrier!
Stepney was really enjoying himself. The dustier he became, the harder he worked. Mavis, Toby and the jewel pets were impressed.
Then the foreman spoke to his driver. "We have a night special to take to building site at the new branch line. Do you want to pull the train?'
"Yes, please." said the driver. But he should have asked Sir Topham Hatt first. Night came. Toby and Stepney were in their sleeping gowns. Mavis was wearing her yukata.
"Be careful Stepney." advised Toby.
"I will and thank you for a lovely day. I do hope I can come back again,"
"The line can be spooky," said Mavis.
"Thank you for the warning." And with that, Stepney puffed away.
Stepney arrived on time and held a basket of rocks and stones for the workmen. Then he, Ruby, Garnet and Sapphie went home. That's when the trouble began. The fog came down.
"Mavis was right. Suddenly, everything does look spooky."
"There's a signalbox," called his driver. "And the signal light is green. Someone must have been expecting us."
But they weren't. The points had been set in the wrong direction, but Stepney didn't realize this. Then they approached an unknown area. The driver made a decision.
"It's best if we stay here until the fog clears,"
"What are those strange sounds?" wondered Stepney. Then the fog slowly lifted. "Oh no! We're in the scrapyards!"
His driver and fireman went for help. Stepney and the jewel pets were all alone, but not for long. Two diesels and a little black cat, Diana, approached.
"Got ya this time Stepney! You'd make a very fine corpse indeed. Grab him by the dress, Bert!"
The diesels took him to a large smelter shed. There were tombstones that held the names of previously deceased locomotives.
"Bye bye Stepney! Bwahahahaha!"
Stepney looked up. Above him was a huge grabber. "Noooo!" cried Stepney. He clenched his chest as tears trickled from his eyes.
Garnet: Leave him alone!
Sapphie: Stepney's the special flower train!
Ruby: He's our friend!
The grabber wasn't listening to Stepney's plea, as the good jewel pets were arguing with the bad jewel pet. But just as it was about to grab hold of him, it stopped. There stood Sir Topham Hatt.
"It's a good thing I'm visiting this yard tonight. Saving you from scrap is becoming a habit."
Garnet gave Stepney a tissue. He wiped his eyes and blew his nose.
"Yes sir. But I have learned something. There's no place like home!"
"And that's exactly where you're going right now."
Stepney immediately cheered up. He and the jewel pets got into a big group hug.
"Bluebells forever!"

Types of Gemstones Offered by Angel Jewels
Precious Gemstones
Diamonds
Diamonds are the most popular gemstone for engagement rings and special occasions. They come in various cuts like round, princess, and emerald, with settings that highlight their sparkle.
Did you know? Diamonds are graded on the 4 Cs: cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. Choosing ethically mined diamonds ensures you get a stunning, responsible piece.
Imagine proposing with a ring featuring a conflict-free diamond—that’s a meaningful choice that lasts a lifetime.
Rubies
Rubies symbolize love and passion. They come in shades from pink to deep red.
Quality tip: Look for Burmese rubies—they tend to have the richest color. Clear, vivid red stones indicate high quality, especially when certified by experts.
Expert opinion: "The best rubies are deeply colored, transparent, and free of visible flaws," say jewellery specialists.
Sapphires
Sapphies aren’t just blue; they come in pink, yellow, green, and more. They’re a perfect choice for vibrant, colorful jewellery.
Some sapphires are treated to improve their color or clarity. Always ask for certification when shopping to verify authenticity.
To pick a genuine sapphire, look for vibrant, saturated color and ask about its origin and treatments.
Emeralds
Emeralds are rich green stones that often have natural inclusions, called "jardin," which add to their charm.
Care tip: Emeralds are softer than other gems, so handle with care. Regular cleaning and storage in a soft cloth help keep them looking their best.
Look for certified emeralds to ensure quality. Certification confirms the stone's origin and quality standards.
Semi-Precious Gemstones
Amethysts
Known for their purple hues, amethysts symbolize calm and clarity. They come in various shades, from light lavender to dark violet.
These stones are popular for everyday wear and make beautiful statement pieces.
Topaz
Available in many colors like blue, yellow, and clear, topaz is versatile and affordable.
To ensure you get genuine topaz, look for deep, saturated colors and ask about any treatments.
Garnets
Garnets brighten up jewellery with their deep reds, oranges, or greens. They’re hard-wearing and perfect for daily use.
Different types of garnets carry different meanings—from love to energy.
Opals
Opals mesmerize with their play-of-color, shimmering with rainbow hues.
Care is essential—store them safely and clean gently to preserve their glow.
Why Choose Angel Jewels for Gemstone Jewellery

The store offers warranties, after-sales services, and maintenance tips to keep your jewellery brilliant. Plus, a flexible return policy makes shopping safe and easy.
Caring for Your Angel Jewels: Maintenance Tips & Best Practices
Daily Care and Cleaning
Use warm water and mild soap for cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
Don’t forget to remove jewellery before swimming, cleaning, or exercising to prevent damage. Bright gemstones like diamonds and sapphires can lose their sparkle if not cleaned regularly.
Storage Suggestions
Store each piece separately in soft pouches or lined jewellery boxes. This prevents scratches and tangling.
Keep your collection organized so you always know where your favourite pieces are.
Repairs and Restoration Services
If your jewellery needs repair, professional help is best. Angel Jewels offers repair and restoration services that extend the life of your favourites.
Regular check-ups can keep settings secure and stones safe.
Making an Informed Purchase: Tips and Recommendations
Learn about gemstone certifications—these prove a stone’s authenticity and quality.
Inspect the cut, color, clarity, and carat size. Asking questions about the gemstone’s origin and treatments ensures you know what you’re buying.
Choose a piece that matches your style, whether for everyday wear or special occasions, and stay within your budget.

13.If your OC could physically fight another character, who would it be and would they win?
OC ASK GAME
I'll be using Sapph and Ruby!
For Ruby I think they would fight Leona, mainly because they just don't like him in general, Considering Ruby can easily rip apart a wild animal when they get hungry, Leona would win via forfeit (Leon dragging them away)
For Sapphy she would probably fight Crowley and she'd win. Sapphy on her own is pretty strong without needing to transform into Cure Flambe, but she isn't Ruby strong.
Thanks for the ask c:!

Cursed bird fact ducks aren’t the only birds with penises - swans, geese, ostriches, and emus do too! (absolutely don’t Google ostrich penis)
There’s also this paper that studied how female ducks developed vaginal canals opposite the direction of the male ducks’ corkscrew penises to prevent full eversion during forced copulation if u wanna see a duck penis study! A cursed sentence from the paper lol: “Eversion of the 20 cm muscovy duck penis is explosive, taking an average of 0.36 s, and achieving a maximum velocity of 1.6 m/s.” (https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/pdf/10.1098/rspb.2009.2139)
🍒🍓🌶! I think u are super talented, your bird and cats are so cute, and that you are very strange I would like to poke ur brain
(also do u have any more pet pics 🥺)
~🪶
I like how you just put "are the only birds with penises" but I did know all of those except ostriches and emus (but what about the other raptor bird, the true terror, the cassowary?🤔) Birds are like kinda absolute demons and assholes when it comes to sex 😬
And yeah I always got more pet pics, this time you get our current pups, Ruby(who has the red collar) and Sapphire (who has the blue collar)! Rubes is a lil bit moody but very lovable to her family and she is literally just solid muscle. An absolute brick house.
Sappy is an absolute goofball who has so much energy. Like you could run this dog for four hours straight and she'd still be ready to go. If I hadn't known their parents I'd be convinced somehow she had husky in her😅

What does Henry think of Ruby from bfb/Diamond from oso/any other gem characters from any other object shows?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At first he probably tries to steal them too without giving too much thought to it until he realizes they're alive hsfgjdshfdgjzfh
How does he not know theyre alive for that long? The world may never know
Also TSMM stands for Tomato Sauce's Murder Mansion which doesn't have it's first episode out yet but I thought I'd include that character anyways
And FFOH stands for Fight For Object Hotel which is my object show lol because of course I had to add in my ocs (the earrings aren't exactly gems but they came to the gem party anyways)

So...
I know I have stuff to do, but Covid has not been agreeing with me. Thankfully, it has almost run its course entirely, but I have been amazingly drained because of it. So, I am very behind in updating stories or posting more artwork, but I felt like posting something.
I know this is from a trend a while back, but I figured I might as well do this, since hey, it might open some discussions in future! I hope to get back on track soon for stories and artwork, but for now, here is my favourite character bingo.
(PS. I had to use the anime one because the usual website for bingo making didn’t like me uploading too many images. And... I couldn’t add a character into the free space for whatever reason, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
First Row - RK800 ‘Connor’ from Detroit: Become Human - Lin Beifong from The Legend Of Korra - Trevor Belmont from Netflix’s Castlevania - Remus Sanders from Sanders Sides - Ezio Auditore from the Assassins Creed series
Second Row - Jason Todd / Red Hood from DC and Batman: Under The Red Hood - Lee Everett from Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 1 - Garrus Vakarian from the Mass Effect series - Shego from Kim Possible - Severus Snape from the Harry Potter series
Third Row - Tiana from Disney’s The Princess And The Frog - General James Ironwood from RWBY - Stolas Goetia from Helluva Boss - Alastor from Hazbin Hotel
Fourth Row - Bruce Banner from the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Rock Lee from Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations - Garnet / Ruby + Sapphie from Steven Universe - Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Aizawa Shota from My Hero Academia
Fifth Row - Tyrion Lannister from Game Of Thrones - Bigby Wolf from Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us - King Dice from The Cuphead Show and Cuphead: Don’t Deal With The Devil - The Medic from Team Fortress 2 - Bill from Beastars
These are just my favourite characters, and I know at least a couple might get me a sideward glance, but please, respect my opinion and my love for these characters.
Feel free to ask me most anything though, and maybe, sometime soon, I’ll open up some requests for art and stories for more of these characters and their fandom. (At the moment, I am far too hooked on King Dice) (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

For the ask game: The Locked Tomb fandom!
Favorite character: Gosh, I don’t know. I don’t like any of them. Maybe John. Actually yeah I’m gonna say John because TLT’s take on immortal humans is my favorite out of any media property ever—they’re somehow one-dimensional and eleven-dimensional at the same time, it’s incredible—and John is the best in this regard.
Favorite ship: YKNOW it used to be Griddlehark, but then the ending of GTN left my adrift in a cold uncaring universe, and I was so worried going into HTN that the series would stop being gay (I know, I know, it was ridiculous to doubt the author), so when Harryanthe became something of a thing I was like yes thank you I’ll take it and now it’s my favorite ship sorry.
Favorite installment: If we’re talking books, then GTN. If we’re talking scenes, then the pool scene 😎.
1 or 2: Type 1, not even close—and I’m actually pretty frustrated by the number of times I’ve seen the “It’s got lesbian necromancers in space, what more could you want?” take crop up on social media. Lots of queer books are terrible! (Not because they’re queer, but just because lots of books are terrible.) Gideon the Ninth isn’t! It’s one of the best I’ve ever read!
One thing I would change about canon: They kiss in the pool pls thnx.
One thing I’d never change about canon in a million years: Everything else about the pool scene because holy shit.
The character I most relate to: I’m torn between Harrow (frighteningly introspective) and Gideon (loves herself).
The Best Girl: Abigail Pent.
A fic I’ve thought of but haven’t written: I honestly think I’ve written the only TLT fic I’ve ever wanted to write; nothing else has crossed my mind, except for the crossover listed below.
A crossover or fandom fusion that I enjoy: I had an idea for a Steven Universe GTN AU. Everyone gets sent to Canaan House as in the book, although the only necro/cav pairs I’ve figured out are Steven/Connie, Sapphie/Ruby, and Lapis/Jasper. Things that happen include:
Connie and Ruby have similar self-sacrificing complexes.
Jasper dies mysteriously and Steven is the only one who mourns her.
Sapphire tragically eats Ruby and is dubbed Garnet the First (by WD, who’s the Necrolord Prime).
The weirdest meta I can possibly concoct: Canon is already so goddamn weird that I’m not sure how to top it.

Kiss It & Make It Better
rating: T word count: 3k
Steven stumbles upon a new power that, just like all of the rest, doesn't work quite like his mother's. It has some negative side effects that he's a bit reluctant to explain to the others.
Part of my “Feyfolk & Fiends” AU. Enjoy!
[Read on AO3]
-
Steven adores Connie.
This is probably obvious in everything he does. What began as a partnership, as a mutual interest in all things magical and fey, has become something so much more. It’s something he’ll always carry with him, forever.
So of course it’s with her that he discovers a new power.
Most of his powers are fairly standard fey stuff. He can summon a shield and disintegrate it at his will. He can summon wings, too; semi-transparent things that are hued an unnatural pink, insectoid and bizarre-looking even to Pearl, who knew his mother best. He can manipulate others, though it is a temporary thing and people are usually aware of the magical interference on their thinking if they’re not already strongly learning that way.
Then there’s this.
Steven presses a joking kiss to the injury on Connie’s finger, so mild that calling it an injury is hyperbole, and insists he’ll make it better. They laugh, both their cheeks blushing at the flirtatious nature of it all. And then they stare at each other in awe as the paper cut on Connie’s finger magically seals itself, the skin suddenly baby-smooth. Connie runs her fingers over it again and again, a “Whoa” murmuring out.
Steven winces at a prickling ache in his own finger. He looks down to see a paper cut there, in what might have been an identical spot to the one on Connie’s.
“I didn’t know you could heal,” Connie whispers.
“I didn’t either,” he confesses with nervous laughter.
Is that paper cut from that, just now? No. It couldn’t be. It’s just a coincidence, though he doesn’t remember how exactly he got the papercut in the first place. That’s fine.
“How?”
Steven shrugs, fingers curling into his palm, and hopes that Connie leaves it at that.
-
Of course, she doesn’t. Connie has always been inquisitive by nature, and it’s one of Steven’s favorite things about her. There’s nothing wrong with it, period, but it makes something like this… well, more than a little awkward.
“Describe what happened,” Garnet says in that stoic way of hers, and Steven feels his face heating.
“Okay, so!” Connie takes Steven’s hand in hers, a grin spread across her face. “We were just joking around, right? And I’d gotten a paper cut earlier today at school. And I complained about it to him, so he said he’d ‘kiss it and make it better.’ And then he did!”
“I’ve never heard of a fey healing a mortal with a kiss,” Garnet murmurs. “You weren’t using magic?”
“Garnet.” Steven laughs, high and awkward and nerves spiking. “You know I can’t.”
“All fey have access to magic.”
“Clearly that doesn’t mean me.”
“The skills you call ‘powers’ are all different forms of—”
“We’ve had this conversation!” Steven waves his hands, wildly, desperate to direct the topic elsewhere. “It doesn’t matter. It was a one-time thing, and it won’t happen again.”
He’s scared of what might happen if it does.
Garnet nods once, and though no expression forms at her lips or in her eyebrows, he wishes he could see past her visor to know what her eyes were saying. “We could ask Mother.”
Connie gasps, excitement bursting at her seams, but Steven pales. The idea of Sapphire finding out — she would take one look at him and know. He’s never been able to hide anything from her. She would probably ban him from every healing anyone ever again. Or maybe she’d be okay with this.
Or maybe Steven’s freaking out over nothing, because who knows if he got that paper cut from somewhere else that he just forgot about?
“I-I don’t know. Maybe this was just a fluke.”
“We could always test that theory,” Garnet suggests.
“Fine.” Steven knows he’ll regret saying it, but he acquiesces. “Let’s test it!”
He words it as a challenge, praying fervently that Garnet will read his mind and see that they should just drop this subject and leave it alone.
Garnet, however, is not, nor has she ever claimed to be, a mind reader.
-
“Ooh, this sounds like a fun experiment. And you are due for another sword-fighting lesson, Connie.”
Normally, Steven is ecstatic when Connie’s up for training with Pearl. She’s very much Pearl’s student, as graceful and diligent as her teacher. The brownie has always been willing to share the things she’s learned — not in terms of the skills she knows inherently, as a brownie, but the skills she learned and trained herself in and mastered. The two of them in the arena together are a brilliant, dazzling display.
But today’s lesson seems like it would be less for Connie and more for Steven.
“Don’t, uh. Don’t beat each other up too hard,” Steven says, as Connie follows Pearl to the fairy circle.
Connie laughs. “Oh, I’m gonna kick Pearl’s ass.”
“Profanity, young lady,” Pearl scolds.
It would get a giggle out of Steven if he wasn’t absolutely terrified.
-
“What are you doing in my room?”
“Go away.”
“This is my room.”
Steven doesn’t move. He stays exactly where he is, curled up behind one of Amethyst’s many piles of miscellaneous paraphernalia. Amethyst sighs, the sound so near a groan that he almost winces, and then he feels the shift of movement and cloth as she plops down next to him. He’s on his butt, knees up, arms wrapped around them and head pressed between, but Amethyst leans over him, almost on top of him. “What’s got you down, bud? What’re you hiding from?”
“Nothing, geez!”
“So you’re telling me that you’re in my room for no reason?”
“What’s the big deal? It’s not a full moon, is it?”
“Stop being obtuse, you dweeb.”
Steven groans. He shifts, pushing Amethyst off of him in order to look at her. “I just… well. Garnet and Pearl are training with Connie because they think it’s going to help me, but I’m pretty sure it won’t. So I’m hiding out in here so I won’t have to face them when they’re done.”
“Just tell them that.”
“It’s not that simple.”
“Sounds like it is when you won’t tell me why it’s complicated.”
“I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Amethyst hums, but she sounds almost as if she’s bored. She isn’t; Steven knows her well enough by now, but as always, it makes his nerves spike. As if he’s burdening her by being here, when the very reason he’s here is because he knows she doesn’t see him like that and she never will. “Well, why don’t you ask Sapphire? Maybe her future vision can help out so you won’t have to say anything.”
Steven considers it. He has a feeling that Sapphire would be straight with him about it, but she would spell everything out, word for word. And he doesn’t know if he wants to hear her wise voice articulating the specifics of this strange new power.
-
Which is how Steven winds up in front of Ruby.
“What’s goin’ on, Ste-man?” Ruby asks, burning a Poptart in her hand right before she devours it.
“I gotta ask you for some advice.” The words sigh out him, almost like he’s deflating, as he plops into the seat at the counter.
Ruby blinks, stunned. Yeah, Steven isn’t surprised by that. The last time he went to Ruby for advice, she’d made him swear never to come to her again. “That’s Sapphire’s thing, I guess,” she’d said with a blush and a nervous laugh. But Ruby had lived for eons, just like Sapphire, and just because she didn’t have the korrigan’s future vision didn’t mean her insight wasn’t also valuable.
Especially when it came to said korrigan.
“So… how do you recommend approaching Sapphire when I don’t want to actually talk about something, I kinda just want her to know it?”
Ruby’s expression remains exactly the same. Stunned, bewildered. Steven’s wondering if he’s made some sort of mistake when Ruby says, “Sapphire… can’t read minds, Steven. You know that. Sure, she can see a bunch of different futures, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to know what’s bothering you right away.”
Okay, that makes sense, but that doesn’t mean it’s what he wants to hear.
“What’s up with my fave little man?” Ruby asks, hopping up onto the counter and swinging her legs over the side.
And, honestly? No one else is allowed to be so diminutive with him. If only because Ruby knows exactly what it’s like to be called that kind of thing, and she doesn’t get the privilege of growing up like he does. (Then again, she can choose whatever human form she wants.)
“Uh, so…” He knows Ruby won’t let this leak. Of all of them, she’s probably the most tight-lipped... except in her anger, of course. “Connie and I discovered a new power of mine, but… I don’t really know how to tell her that I think it’s got some pretty negative side effects? But she’s already working on it, so… I just wanna know if I should pretend it doesn’t work, or that it was a fluke, or whatever.”
“Huh.”
Ruby doesn’t say anything for a moment, tapping at her chin with a furrow to her brow. “Mind if I ask what kind of side effects?”
“Um…” Steven bites his lip.
Ruby sighs. “Well, if you’re not gonna talk about it with me, I don’t know how you’re expecting to talk about it with Sapphy. And Steven, we’re all gonna know sooner or later. Might as well rip off the band-aid now, y’know?”
She was right. Of course she was right.
“I guess I have the power to heal people,” he begins.
“Oh, like Rose’s tears!”
Ruby’s starry eyes make Steven laugh, tone high and awkward. “Uh, kind of. But through kisses. And it’s not just healing. I don’t know how Mom did it, but for me, it seems like… I can take on whatever injury they’ve got.”
“Oh.” Ruby’s expression changes immediately from one of excitement to one of concern. “You sure?”
Steven shrugs. “It’s only happened once and it was over a paper cut, but… yeah, pretty sure. Usually once a new power hits, I can kind of tell.” Emphasis on the kind of; they all remember when his wings manifested. That had been…
Ruby nods slowly, gears turning in her brain. “Well, we should probably tell people about this, right? You don’t wanna end up in a situation where you feel like you have to use it, and everyone’s expecting you to, only for that to hit the fan right then.”
“I-I guess?”
Ruby slaps his shoulder, and he yelps. Her touch burns his skin through his jacket. “C’mon, little man!”
“I’m coming, I’m coming.”
-
“This assumption you’ve made is based on one single event.”
Steven nods slowly, though the lump in his throat is heavy. “Um… yeah. I would really rather not test it, if that’s what you’re about to suggest.”
Sapphire considers this. She is at about Ruby’s height — which is to say, she comes up this waist and no higher. He used to think that she used to look down on him despite this, and in hindsight, that’s pretty hilarious, because Sapphire doesn’t conceive of others that way. Korrigans are typically incredibly beautiful creatures, and though Steven would say that Sapphire fits the bill, many fey would not; for Sapphire, somehow, came into being with only one eye. Sapphire has been treated horribly enough by plenty of fey for that sole thing — Steven’s even heard someone claim she has “more in common with the monsters than with fey” — and while that almost made him go off, she insisted it was fine.
She even jokes that her future vision requires two, and her third is for sight. Steven isn’t sure what to make of any that, but he does know that she’s probably the least likely to look down on anyone else.
“We won’t do anything that cannot be swiftly remedied.” Despite the assurance, Steven finds himself hesitating. Sapphire gestures for him to follow her, so he does. “You know, Steven, that your mother’s healing abilities worked differently.”
He swallows. “Yeah.” Hers were perfect, infallible in every way. Her tears would heal injuries with absolutely no casualties. Supposedly she could heal fey on the brink of death — something quite difficult for fey to reach in the first place — and they would resurrect, good as new and fatigue restored.
Steven’s powers are almost always different from Rose’s somehow. Never quite as unique, never quite as special.
“What you may not have known is that they affected mortals differently than they did fey.”
He blinks. He looks up, trying to catch Sapphire’s gaze, but she’s too many steps ahead. He recognizes this path well; she is leading him to the fairy circle. When he was young, they built the house around it. Apparently some of his mother’s magic was able to make it so that this particular circle could only be accessed by those with the proper credentials, though Steven hasn’t the foggiest idea about how any of that works.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that this circle is not composed of typical mushrooms, but of eternal fairy roses. Her namesake.
“Can you, um… elaborate?”
As they come to the circle, she extends her hand to him. He takes it, and together they step into the circle. A moment later their house is gone, their surroundings morphing into strange and new shapes until they settle on a familiar scene:
His mother’s fountain. Its water seem higher than ever as they exist the fairy circle, the statue of her higher still.
“Your mother’s powers were regenerative with injured fey; their heart would cease to beat, and your mother’s tears would inspire it to continue on, as if it’d never stopped. Broken bone would mend, lost limbs would regrow. But with mortals, it was very different. Their limbs would remain lost, her magic only causing the skin to heal over exposed bone. Their stopped hearts, when awoken, would be marching to an entirely new rhythm.”
Unease settles in his stomach.
“I’m curious to see if your power behaves the same on mortals and fey, or if it too finds different purpose in our differences.”
Steven stops.
They’ve come to the edge of the fountain. Sapphire smiles, and with a burst of magical energy, a dagger appears in her hand.
“N-no, Sapphire—”
“Easy, now.” Sapphire presses the dagger into the tip of her index finger. Steven watches, horrified, as her blood pools there, before slowly dripping to the stone floor in red speckles.
His stomach lurches again. He feels bile rise and he pushes it down, down, down. It’s just blood. There’s nothing to be concerned about. It’s just blood. And he can fix this.
The dagger disappears and Sapphire beckons him closer with her uninjured hand. Obediently, he comes to her side, but when she extends the injury to him to heal, he freezes. He stares at the blood, still dripping ever so slowly to the floor below.
What, you can’t handle a little blood, Steven Universe?
“Let’s… just use Mom’s fountain. Okay?”
Sapphire pauses. Something odd crosses her face and Steven squeezes his eyes shut, begging her to do literally anything else but push her injury in front of him and insist.
“Okay.” His eyes fly open to see that Sapphire has turned from him, already dipping her finger into the pond; he nearly misses the shimmer from the water, and when she pulls her hand away, the injury is there no longer.
“I-I’m sorry.”
“I should have asked if this was something you were comfortable with before I insisted. Forgive me.”
Why does he feel like he’s just failed her?
-
He’s lying face down in his bed, curled up under the covers, when he hears a knock at his door. He shoots upright, untangling himself from the blankets as quickly as he can and ends up on the floor with a thud. “U-uh, come in!”
He’s just barely on his feet when Connie comes in, bruises all over her and a look of concern on her face. “Steven?”
 Oh.
In his haste to throw a pity party, he totally forgot that he’d forgotten he’d agreed to try to heal Connie’s training injuries. He scans her for a moment; she’s got a particularly nasty bruise on her elbow, but otherwise her injuries don’t seem too bad. She’s probably sore — will he inherit that, as well, or will he be spared it? If it’s just this one time, then this is probably fine, right?
“Yeah. C’mon in.”
She shuts the door behind her and comes in. He sits on the bed and she moves to sit beside him. He’s already taking her hand and bending down to kiss it when she puts a hand on his shoulder and pushes him back. He looks up, startled to see that concern still there.
“Steven… Ruby and Sapphire told us about it.”
“Us?” he squeaks.
“Pearl and I. I’m assuming Amethyst and Garnet probably know, too.”
His face burns. “Oh.” Slowly, Steven lets her hand drop, and he pulls his hand away from hers, sitting it back in his lap. He stares at them, fidgeting them while the silence grows. Connie seems to be expecting something from him, but he doesn’t know what it is.
“Steven…” Connie sighs. “Next time, please just tell me. Please just tell me something like this would hurt you, okay? We can always just go to your mother’s fountain. Or not! I don’t even go there half the time after training because these aches and bruises are earned, you know? So I don’t even need healing!”
He nods. “Yeah. Okay.”
Another beat passes. Connie gives a soft, gentle sigh, and she curls her hands around his face, pulling his eyes up to meet hers. “Steven. If healing someone is going to put you at risk, then we’ll just bandage things up and let them heal the old-fashioned way. Okay? Let me care for you.”
Steven presses his forehead against hers and offers her a slow, hesitant smile. “Okay.”
She presses a kiss to his nose, and for a moment, everything is better.

Any Steven Universe headcanons? Feel free to use as many or as little characters as you want.
Oooh, I do indeed, nonnie!! 🤩 I’ll just do the main CGs and Spinel for now but I might do other characters another time if there’s any interest~
Steven
⭐️ A goofy and playful switch who loves to laugh and make his friends laugh!
⭐️ Worst spots are his belly, especially around his gem (most gems’...gems are also ticklish, though only to a very light touch), sides and feet
⭐️ Gets into tickle fights with Amethyst and Connie pretty regularly
⭐️ which he usually loses, but he doesn’t mind at all
⭐️ Playfully begs for mercy but doesn’t actually mean it
⭐️ Also a big fan of cheer up tickles, both giving and receiving!
Ruby & Sapphire / Garnet
⭐️ Ruby loves teasing her laughy Sapphy with tickly neck kisses and raspberries~
⭐️ unfortunately she is equally susceptible, and icy fingers tickle even more :3c
⭐️ Their first tickle fight inevitably ended in a heap of giggly cotton candy Garnet, as do all the others the rare times they’re separated long enough to have one
⭐️ Garnet also enjoys giving kisses and raspberries! though in a more motherly way
⭐️ She tickles Steven the most (especially when he was younger), but will also go for Amethyst and Pearl if they’re being bratty or need cheering up
⭐️ “Steven, I have a very important mission. You must defeat...the tickle monster!!”
⭐️ As with all fusions however, she also shares all of Ruby and Sapphire’s ticklish spots~ but the others have to team up to get her (since it’s basically impossible to catch her off guard lol)
⭐️ This has been known to lead to fusion tickle wars with Smoky Quartz and Opal
Amethyst
⭐️ Mischievous ler and lowkey switch
⭐️ Will randomly poke or surprise tickle attack when she’s bored/for the hell of it, her favourite targets being Steven, Pearl and Peridot
⭐️ Laughs along with her lee and is a huge tease like “dude, no WAY, you’re ticklish here too??!! I totally didn’t even know that!!”
⭐️ If she’s feeling really mean, will tie the lee up with her whip and/or shapeshift feathers and other tools
⭐️ Most definitely cannot take what she dishes out, especially being teased and called cute!
⭐️ She’ll “let” Steven win one of their tickle fights every once in a while
Pearl
⭐️ To her slight mortification, actually The Most Ticklish - her feet, legs, neck and underarms are the worst but it’s pretty bad almost everywhere
⭐️ Goes from giggles to squawks, squeals and screeches depending where/how long she’s tickled
⭐️ Also super easily flustered - just grin and wiggle your fingers at her and she’s blushing furiously
⭐️ Has sorta mixed feelings about being tickled bc when Rose/Pink did it she liked the affection but not so much the feeling of losing control
⭐️ But she’s gotten more used to it over the years, after seeing Steven and Amethyst have fun and generally learning to loosen up and have fun / let herself be vulnerable around those she trusts!
⭐️ So she’s unlikely to initiate a tickle fight, but maybe doesn’t mind being dragged into one quite as much as she claims
Peridot
⭐️ Had no idea what tickling was until she saw Steven and Amethyst playing and was initially baffled by the concept (“You kept saying stop...but you were laughing?? What is the purpose of this?”) so they...helpfully demonstrated :3c
⭐️ Her worst spots are her underarms, ribs and knees
⭐️ Cackles uncontrollably and flails around a lot, kicking and yelling various futile threats/insults
⭐️ she doesn’t completely hate it though, which kinda fascinates her and so of course she can’t resist seeing if it works on Lapis too~
⭐️ which, spoiler alert, it does!! but then Lapis figures out how to destroy her lol and quite a lot of their disagreements end in tickle fights after that
⭐️ You also know she’s gonna be creating some wild tickle tools/meepmorps to get her revenge
Lapis
⭐️ also unfamiliar with tickling until she came to Earth and thinks she’s being attacked at first
⭐️ like Pearl, she’s not sure about the aspect of helplessness at first, but she gets into it bc honestly after everything it’s kind of nice just to laugh
⭐️ She still prefers tickling others to being tickled though (mostly Peridot bc she asks for it lol and her laugh is so dorky and infectious)
⭐️ her back, belly and feet are the most ticklish
⭐️ She only lets Peridot and Steven tickle her
Spinel
⭐️ She was literally made to make her new best friend(s) laugh, and what better way~?
⭐️ one of her favourite games with Pink was to hide and surprise tickle attack her
⭐️ Giggles as much as her lee, lots of teasing and baby talk and all the terrible tickle jokes and puns: “what’s so funny??”, “Gee, aren’t you just...tickled pink!!”
⭐️ Payback is double the fun , obviously~ Her sides, underarms and tummy are super ticklish, but she loves it so much she won’t try to get away and happily melts into a giggly puddle
⭐️ Uses her noodle limbs to catch/tie up her lee, but it can easily backfire if she gets tangled up herself, and her arms and legs just miiight be a little more sensitive when they’re doing a heckin s t r e t c h~
⭐️ When she goes back with the other Diamonds she pretty much introduces them to tickling (it’s not a common practice in Homeworld and I feel like Pink probably didn’t play like that with them)
⭐️ ofc they can easily pick her up and wreck her with one finger, and when they’re all cooing over how adorable she is it’s the most loved she’s felt in 6000 years ;w;

su/suf for the ask thingy!!
Favorite character: This answer changes every time I’m asked this question, but overall I have to go with Steven, I’ve had such a “this is my son and I love him, nobody better hurt my son” mentality for him since s1 and I’m so happy to see he’s recovering and doing his best to heal and get better
Least Favorite character: it’s probably exactly the point of her character, but I’ve never liked Jasper 😔
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): connverse, rupphire, amedot, bispearl, volleypearl/pearlfriends
Character I find most attractive: SPINEL
Character I would marry: Also Spinel
Character I would be best friends with: In a perfect world, Lapis, but as for who I’d click with the fastest, probably Amethyst
a random thought: Lapis deserved an episode with Steven equivalent to how he had “In Dreams” with Peridot. “Why So Blue?” was great, but I would’ve really loved an episode just about that focused on their friendship. They’re beach summer fun buddies! Let them have innocent summer fun together!!
An unpopular opinion: Completely unrelated to other ships I have with characters involved, but I was never a fan of Pearlmethyst or Lapidot. I disliked the season one Pearl/Amethyst dynamic so much at the time it was airing that I guess it kind of soured the ship for me down the line? I dunno, I’m not gonna stop people from shipping either, people can enjoy whatever they want.
My Canon OTP: Connverse
My Non-canon OTP: Amedot!
Most Badass Character: Lapis for sure. Nothing’s gonna beat stealing the ocean and fighting the crystal gems and winning (for the most part, since her water copies of the gems were close to exact equals in strength) with a cracked gem to me.
Most Epic Villain:  Yellow 👏 Diamond 👏.  White was great as a villain and provided the scariest scene in the series for sure, but I loved the uncertainty of the yellow diamond arc with the cluster, and her first appearance when Peridot pissed her off, and we had no idea how Yellow was going to physically retaliate? Or the scene in Reunited when she stomped on Steven? A+++ villain writing right there.
Pairing I am not a fan of: See above.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): The only complaint I can think of is Lars leaving for space right after he spent months trying to find his way back home, but I digress because we didn’t get to see much of him in the time skip between the end of Change Your Mind and Little Graduation.
Favourite Friendship: Steven and Lapis!
Character I most identify with: Sapphire
Character I wish I could be:  Sapphire again! Cosplayed her a while back, learned her part of Something Entirely New as soon as I could when The Answer aired, made jokes with my then-girlfriend that she was the Ruby to my Sapphy. I loveb her.

Steven Universe: Marooned Together - Chapter Fifty-Five
(thanks as always to @real-fakedoors for proofreading!)
Ruby sighed, gazing out the bridge windows as the rain began to fall. Her foot tapped as she waited for the rest of the group to come back. She scratched her arms, eyes darting around as she counted patterns in the walls and ceiling, occasionally chewing her lip.
There was a sudden dull thud, and she jumped.
“What was that?” she asked aloud.
Quickly she jumped to her feet, sprinting from the deck and towards the med bay. She hadn’t even made it there when she saw the cause of the commotion.
Kevin was limping down the corridor, some of the rope they’d used to tie him down still hanging from his ankles. His gaze, wild and unfocused, shot towards the red gem, and for a few seconds they stared each other down.
“Uh… you wanna go back to sleep, Kevin?” asked Ruby.
Kevin screeched and bolted, ducking through another door.
“Kevin, that… that’s the kitchen!” Ruby called out. “The exit isn’t…”
She frowned as she heard the sounds of tins being opened and uncooked baked beans being wolfed down.
“Ah, forget it, I don’t care.” Ruby crossed her arms. “But if I know humans, you’re gonna regret that in about two hours and-”
“Sapphire to Ruby, come in Ruby.”
Ruby jolted at the faint sound from the bridge, and rushed back, skidding to a halt in front of the captain’s chair.
“Ruby to Sapphire, I hear you!”
“We’re coming back with the humans…”
“...and quartzes!”
“...yes, and quartzes. Fire up the ship, we’re gonna need to take off before the storm arrives.”
“Gotcha, Sapphy! I’m on it!”
Ruby ran towards the pilot’s seat and jumped in. She looked down at the holographic console, smiling - her grin slowly faltered.
“Uh… Sapphy, can you ask Amethyst where the ‘on’ button is?”
...
Holly Blue Agate’s discarded gem still lay on the rock in the lake, forgotten in the excitement as the humans and gems had begun to make their way to the Crystal Avenger. There was no-one around to see it glow and rise into the damp air, light projecting from it as it formed a very familiar, very angry form.
Holly Blue snarled as she dropped back onto the ground, finding her camp deserted.
Those miserable pebbles! They had abandoned their duty to the empire, and walked off with their own prisoners, like… like Earthling savages! Not only that, but they’d left her to the storm, while they wandered off to freedom!
She could not— would not abide it.
Drawing her whip, she took to the storm.
It seemed Amethyst and Peridot had just about been able to talk Ruby through the start-up process, as the Crystal Avenger was ready to fly when the group arrived. The ramp was lowered, and the first lot of humans were able to simply walk onto the ship to freedom - not that any seemed to understand the concept right now.
Stevonnie and Lapis took up the rear with Jenny and Kiki. The twins made an odd sight - the weathered, weary, greying scavenger and the youthful, blissful thrall were such a contrast that you’d never suspect they were the same age. Kiki still smiled serenely, no hint of recognition in her eyes as they approached safety.
“Ooh, spaceship!” she said. “Holly promised us space ship! Promised we’d go to the Zoo!”
“Yeah, well, you’re not going to the Zoo,” said Jenny. “You’re going to New Earth. You remember Earth?”
Kiki shook her head.
“It sounds nice!” she said cheerfully.
Jenny closed her eyes and nodded.
“It was nice,” she muttered.
Stevonnie put a hand on her shoulder.
“We’ll get her back, Jen,” they said. “I promise.”
Jenny swallowed.
“Yeah,” she replied. “I know we will.”
“Get me back?” Kiki tilted her head. “But I’m here!”
Jenny shook her head.
“Let’s just get outta here, okay?” she asked. “I mean, storm’s rolling in, and we need to get these people to a hospital, so…”
“You. Miserable. INGRATES!”
Stevonnie glanced back. Holly Blue was advancing through the jungle, rain dropping onto her shoulders as she trudged forward, whip in hand. In her eyes was the fury of an oncoming firestorm, almost shiny in incandescent rage. She seemed almost to shake.
“Okay, time to go,” said Lapis quickly.
She turned around, calling to the last captive humans still boarding the ship.
“Alright, everybody one, we’re, uh… we’re gonna get ice cream!” she called.
“Honey, they’re brainwashed, not children,” said Stevonnie.
“Ice cream sounds cold,” said Kiki, frowning. “The rain’s cold too. Will the Zoo be warm?”
“Oh, for God’s sake!” exclaimed Jenny. “Just get on the ship! Go! Move, move, move!”
The humans shambled forward with no sense of urgency, and Jenny pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Ship. Warm! Outside, bad! Just go!” she said, gesturing wildly towards the ship.
That seemed to have done the trick. The humans began to scurry a little faster, but behind them, Holly Blue was breaking into a run.
“Lapis! We gotta buy them some more time!”
Stevonnie drew their sword - nodding, Lapis waved her hand in the air, forming the swirling rain into a watery harpoon.
“Harpoon?” quizzed Stevonnie.
“I thought I’d experiment a bit.” Lapis smirked and shrugged.
Holly Blue attacked first, swinging her whip violently towards the water gem. Lapis braced with the harpoon, the whip wrapping around the watery surface. She had a moment to think she’d stopped her attack - then the electricity was sparking down the whip, forcing her to drop the harpoon and double back to avoid electrocution. The harpoon splashed into a harmless puddle in the mud.
Holly Blue smirked, but had little time to savour her brief victory before Stevonnie’s shield was flying into her face, hitting her right in the eyes. She stumbled back, crashing into a tree trunk, and was momentarily stunned. The shield flew back - Stevonnie grinned, raising their sword and deflecting it right back into the agate, this time hitting her in the stomach and knocking her down into the mud.
“Guys!”
They turned back. Jenny was standing on the ramp.
“Everyone’s on, let’s go!”
Stevonnie and Lapis nodded, and began their sprint back towards the ship. Lapis got there first, jumping up as the ship began to hover, and Stevonnie was almost there, leaping for the ramp, when-
“Not so fast, fusion scum.”
Their momentum stopped abruptly, and for a moment they tumbled, their arm reaching out - then Lapis had them, holding on for dear might. They looked back - Holly Blue stood in the clearing, her eyes wild as she tugged on her whip, now wrapped around Stevonnie’s lower body.
“I may not be able to stop you from taking my humans, or even my pathetic traitor crew,” she spat. “But I can maroon you forever on this wretched rock.”
She grinned, her teeth bared.
“Who knows?” she replied. “Maybe I can break you into the first of a whole new company of guards?”
“Hey, they’re mine, get your own fusion!” snapped Lapis.
“What’s going on back there?” Amethyst’s voice came through on the PA. “What’s holding us down?”
Stevonnie glanced down to Holly Blue, and then back up to Lapis.
“Lapis, you’re gonna have to-”
“No,” replied Lapis. “I’m not letting you go, not again.”
“Lapis, I…”
“We leave this planet together, or we stay here together,” said Lapis. “But I won’t lose you.”
Stevonnie swallowed and nodded.
“I…”
There was a loud yell and the sound of footsteps racing down the ramp. Before Stevonnie could process anything, Kevin was leaping off the ramp, a stolen destabiliser in his hands. As if in slow motion he fell down towards the agate, the weapon aimed downwards towards her head - Holly Blue’s mouth opened in momentary surprise…
Poof.
The whip vanished, and Stevonnie flopped inelegantly onto the ramp.
For a moment, they glanced back. Kevin was standing triumphantly over a blue agate gem, roaring and beating his chest. He threw the destabilizer to the side and looked up at the fusion and their girlfriend - he shot them a grin.
“Kevin!” Stevonnie called.
Kevin winked.
“Stevonnie!” he called. “Stevonnie!”
For a moment, he seemed to struggle for words. Was he going to say something poignant? An apology for his adolescent actions? A wish of good luck.
He shot Stevonnie a thumbs up.
“Good catch. Very hot.”
He disappeared as the ramp was raised.
...
The ship rocked and shuddered as it soared upwards, away from the planet’s surface and up towards the stars. Through the bridge windows, Ruby could see lightning beginning to streak across the dark, cloudy sky; there were only minutes left to get away. She was in the pilot’s seat - Zircon and the other gems hadn’t reached the bridge until shortly after take off.
“Okay, Roob, swap over to Zircon,” ordered Amethyst.
“No time,” replied Ruby. “I’m in the pilot’s seat - I have to do this.”
“Ruby, no offense, but you ain’t a-”
Sapphire raised her hand.
“Trust her,” she said. “She will do it.”
“You saying that because of your future vision or because she’s your main squeeze?” said Amethyst flatly.
Sapphire hesitated.
“She will do it.”
Ruby wasn’t listening. Underneath her, the ship bucketed like an angry bull, and she had to fight every second to keep a straight course. They had to make orbit - then they could warp. Everything depended on keeping the ship straight - on paper, easy, but in these conditions, less so.
But she knew she could do it. She knew she had to do it. Her whole world was on this ship; Stevonnie and Lapis, Bismuth, Amethyst and Peridot (and Zircon, she supposed.) Most importantly of all, her Sapphy was on this ship. She hadn’t been able to help her all day, but now?
She refused to let her down.
The clouds cleared, and suddenly she could see the curvature of the planet below. The instruments were fluctuating wildly, alarms were screaming, the orbital storm was upon them, but there was a window to act if she was fast enough - if she could hold her nerve to hit the right button at exactly the right moment…
There was a thud, and suddenly all she could see outside were stars streaming past at impossible speeds.
Warp. She had done it.
She didn’t really register the cheers behind her, slumping down in the pilot’s chair like she’d just run a hundred marathons. She was closed off from almost the entire world, her eyes closed and her body limp.
But she recognised the hug from Sapphire, and she certainly felt the many, many kisses.
Mission accomplished.

houseki no bakas
just for anyone curious on whose who:
proustite: jyugo purple jasper: rock zulltinite: nico moonstone: uno star sapphire: seitarou nudibranchs: yamato hajime: hajime
___________________________
“proooouuuustiiiiite. neeeeh proooow.” colorful mystic topaz eyes opened slowly as they looked to the three figures standing over them. the predominant having such long, shiny blue hair that shun in the sunshine. “come oooon lets breakout.” they stated. the long haired green zullinite next to them jumped lightly at that. taking a moment proustite slowly sat up.
the room was glowing by the glass and barred window that showed the outside sky. yawning prow looked to the door, the opening of the entrance was barred by some sort of metalic rock that was crafted. easy enough to open, but hard for them to break open.
“man, why couldn’t they just keep em wooden.” prow looked to see the ragged haired purple jasper pout. “i’d be able to punch it without cracking too much.”
“ya couldn’t get to fight though!” zullinite stated, hair lightly covering their right side of their face as the braided moonstone shushed them both. “keep it down prow’s concentrating.” they stated. all three watched as they morphed their silver alloy into a key like structure to the lock outside of the bars, a click echoing their room.
grabbing onto it proustite slowly opened it as the four looked down the halls. empty. slowly moving out the four dashed down the right of it, clinking of legs and giggles emitted as they ran. soon catching the eye of a sparkling star sapphire walking down the hall.
“OI S.S. WIMP OUTTA THE WAY!” the moonstone screamed enough for the ponytailed gem to look up screaming, only to get pushed to the side by the four running, losing their balance and landing in the pool behind themself; pulling themself out of it gasping as laughter echoed the hall.
“s-s-so meeeaaaan!!!” they whined out as they crawled out. “y-you guys need to stop!!! th-there’s a sighting coming close to o-our base!!!”
“that’s the point!!!” moonstone exclaimed back as they continued running to the entrance, only to be stopped by the pool and it’s giant lily pads. looking at eachother they smiled, jasper picking up proustite on their back. “o-oi-”
“we both know your bad with water.” they stated as they started jumping freely on the lily pads, the other two gems following in response to the very end. quickly getting off jasper proustite looked around. it was so nice and colorful outside. looking about the four noticed the familiar dark cloud coming down in the distance by the ocean.
running off to it the three except for zulltinite pulled out their swords as the lunarian clouded airship started to unfold. infront of it the fleshy standing figure laughed with his own sword in hand. “HAHAHA! your quite the persistant aren’t you? i like that determination!” he stated, legs bending to jump, only to see the four gems jump above him. “haha the thirteenth roomers! perhaps you’d like some exercise after this?!”
“NO WAY!” they exclaimed as they landed on the ship. the familiar clouds pointed their smaller weapons to them. with no hesitation they ran off, using their swords to slice right through them. moonstone going for a graceful slice involving his luxurious braid as he chuckled. jasper made harsh swings through them all, occasionally punching a closer one with enough force to disintagrate them.
prow watched the two as they occasionally sliced some so casually, keeping an eye on the head of the ship. looking about they heard familiar laughter of zulltinite slicing them with his energetic movements and hair. both caught eyecontact enough for that smile to turn concerned. “prow!” he exclaimed, prow looking about finding one of the lunarians, a clouded glock close to his head.
“...oh-” he stated, hearing a click and feeling the cracks of someone landing ontop of him. a harsh clouded ‘pop’ and the sound of shattered pieces echoed throughout them. all three turned to watch as zull landed on the ship floor, holding a hand to their side of their head. looking to prow’s side they were all pieces of them, watching the lunarians move to pick them up a quick slash came through them just in time for it to be unnoticed by the moonstone and jasper.
“i got em! i got em.” prow stated, their grey arms forming into a bowl for the pieces as the other two sighed. “what bout zul?” moonstone asked, all three looking to see them laying down still, coming to their side, the back of their uniform torn from the weapon’s impact.
“...guess...this repaid our debt...of the high fields...right prow?” they asked, closing their eye as the three watched shocked. “...zu-”
soon the green gem propped back up excitedly. “joookiiiing!” they exclaimed as the four laughed. quickly getting up they moved in battle positions. “alright fun times over ya lame-nians!” moon stated as they sliced through more, the others following suite as prow moved to the head of the ship, using their metal to slowly elevate themself to the head. with no one watching the sound of the head getting sliced off caused the three to look up as prow looked inside, their metal picking out the holes as they pulled out purple gem orbs.
“ooooooo pretty!” zul exclaimed as prow came back down, handing the pieces of zultinite back to them. “what kind are they?”
“hmmm...jasper?”
“wait i died?! least i look pretty.”
“not as pretty as me though.”
“vain moon.”
“anyways!” moon exclaimed taking an orb. “whoever it is we caught it first before haji-” he was soon interrupted as the ship evaporated underneath the four causing them to fall to the ground. groaning lightly moon looked around. “oi, everyone alright?” they asked, gaining two groans from zul and jasper. looking around they could see prow struggling to keep their hands on the ground, metal coming out of the cracks of their face.
“geez, i keep forgetting how low ya are.” moon stated, lightly flicking their head only to get a finger of metal. “yeah yeah.” they mumbled as moon whipped it back onto prow. “i can...still kick ass.” the three chuckled as they sat on the field. “...really pretty here.” they mumbled, the three nodding in reply.
“so, sapphire wasn’t wrong on you four.” all four jolted up by the deep voice. looking to see the balded taller form infront of them further away, covered in robes with a uniform underneath them, those ruby red eyes glaring into them with his scar prominent on the right one.
“...ooooh hiiiii hajim-”
“YOU DAMN BRATS MAKE THIS JOB DIFFICULT!!!” he shouted, loud enough for all four to crack and shatter onto the ground.
-----------------
“seriously you four is staying in your damn room that hard!?” he exclaimed as the four stood infront of the barred door, fixed and pouting. “come ooooon we took down a ship though isn’t that good?” moon asked as the three nodded.
“not when these ships are targeted TOWARDS YOU.” he exclaimed as prow pouted. “i mean we took care of it all.”
“one of you idiots got shot in the back!”
“but i got re-repaired!”
“sides how do ya know it wasn’t YOU who did it, huh hajime?” moon retorted as zul looked curiously. “but he di-”
“shhh zul the expert is talking.” they whispered putting a hand over their mouth as the four swore they saw a crack in his head and his fist shaking. “you damn brats be lucky i can’t do more then shout at you!” he stated as star sapphire came up to them.
“s-sir! th-the fragments the medical building looked over s-seem to be l-lepidolite-”
“oi you tattle tale!” moon shrieked as star shrieked themself. “next time keep your mouth shut!”
“b-but that’s my job though-”
“then be BAD at it!”
“yeah mean star sapphy!!!”
“boooo.”
soon the four started to rally as the gem’s face started cracking, hajime groaning at the scene. “just...tell them i’ll come by.” they nodded and soon ran off whimpering loudly.
“haha sir!” hajime groaned as the anthromorphed slug from earlier came to him. “these gems have truly the fighter way with how entertainingly swift they are! perhaps with more training they can be of sufficient status!”
“nudibranchs.” hajime grumbled as his palm came to his face. “your supposed to keep these guys from fighting. and what took you so long to get back?”
“i...LOST MY WAY!”
“that’s something you always do!”
nudibranchs chuckled loudly at that. “anyways, perhaps a thorough training seminar may help them?”
“either that or stay INSIDE THEIR ROOM could too.” he exclaimed, looking at the four who were busy covering where their ears would be. “i’m too tired for this i gotta meet at the first building. nudi you keep an eye on them.”
“yes sir!” he exclaimed as the four whined and laid down on the floor, prow’s eyes immediately closing to go back to sleep.

Note
I gotta be that one. Ruby or Sapphire? Also SU or Voltron?
* sweats nervously * no......NO......
Oh my God! Is this an evil plan to destroy me!?
I knew they'd ask me that!!!! Omg omg.....
Sapphy is the most beautiful and sweetest gem; she is kind, graceful and simply wonderful. She has a very special character. She's calm, diplomatic, cold (but with Ruby and friends warm and lovable), restrained but if necessary she'll show her other side. She is just very beautiful! I love her so damn much! (I understand why Ruby loves her) She has beautiful magnificent hair and she embodies my favorite color and abilities(Ice power, levitating and future vision) and her voice I just can’t... Can you imagine if they let her sing a solo song or she'll sing with someone in paired...
And Ruby, she's an incredibly cute hot-tempered eternal flame baby. I also love her so much! She embodies strength, energy, passion, emotions and of course love! She is beautiful sweet red cute pie!Like Sapphire, she has my other favorite abilities (Fire power and also i love Red color too)
I just can’t choose because both of them are very important to me and I love both of them so much!!! Ah!!! I can't!
Su or Voltron.....it definitely kills me....
These two shows mean so much to me they're in my heart forever!!! Both are so good that I can't say which is better and choose! Both on the theme of space and fantasy, both epic, both make you cry and worry, both have an really good atmosphere and a lot more to list!
It's like choosing between a red pill and a blue pill.... Open two screens and watch two shows at the same time
AGH No! bulbaguy no! Why? I am defeated...
let's say.... Steven Universe: Legendary Defender

This is an old Ruby and Sapphire drawing I never posted
I remember drawing this after the episode in which Ruby asks Sapphi to marry her, which made me so happy and emotional I ended up crying

Tutor!AU for rupphire, but they're mutually tutoring each other in different topics
This is my first attempt at writing in a while. It isn’t finished, but I lost inspiration and I don’t think I can finish it. I’ve never been very good at imagining AUs. I do, however, want to give you what I have written so I can finally say that I completed this ask that I’ve had in my inbox since January/February.
“I thought Iwas tutoring you,” Sapphire chuckled, attempting to snatch the papersfrom Ruby’s hand.
Rubystretched as tall as she could, holding them just out of reach. “Awww, so this wasn’ta romantic poetry reading?” She taunted in mock dismay, waving the papers aboveher head. “And here I was, about to confess my love for you through the most romanticlanguage in existence!”
“Chemistry?”Sapphire questioned, gesturing at the discarded textbook on the table beforethem. The laughter was gone from her voice as her grasping became more frantic.“Please, Ruby, this is a library. You need to study or else you’ll—”
Suddenly, the papers slipped from Ruby’s hand, fluttering to the floor. Sure enough, therelay stanza after stanza of Sapphire’s beautiful cursive for the world to see,if the world had been watching. Luckily, in this quiet corner of the campuslibrary, no one else was there to witness the incident, save for a volunteerwho had enough to sense to give them some space. Guiltily, Ruby quicklycrouched to retrieve the papers, unsure of their order but too bothered by Sapphire’ssudden desperation to press the matter. She loved her more than words coulddescribe and she appreciated all the effort she put in to ensure that Rubyfinally grasped the subjects she struggled with; the last thing she wanted todo was make her upset.
Sapphire stoodquietly to the side, no longer fighting to retrieve her discarded writing. AsRuby perused the papers, she noticed that the neat script quickly lost form, devolving into eraser marks, scribbled out lines, and half formed ideas in themargins that would never come to fruition. Locating the first couple of pages, she found that she started decently enough, but halfway through, it appearedthat Sapphire, the smartest and most perfect person Ruby knew, had given up.
When shelooked up, she found that Sapphire was crying. “Oh, Sapphy, I’m sorry.” She wasquickly by her side, pulling her into an embrace. “I’m sorry. Please don’t cry.If it makes you feel any better, I think you did a pretty good job.”
“No, I didn’t,”Sapphire choked dismally into Ruby’s shoulder.
Rubysqueezed her tighter. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. I mean, look who you’retalking to! I’m failing chemistry and barely passing my other classes. Ifanyone should be ashamed of their work, it should be me. I’m stupid!”
Sapphireshoved her away angrily. “Don’t ever say that again!”
“But—”
“You are notstupid.”
“But, Sapphire—”
“No. You arenot stupid,” Sapphire repeated firmly, her expression softening as shereached for Ruby’s hand. “I won’t let you speak about my partner like that.”
She lacedher fingers with Ruby, wiping away her tears with the heel of her other hand, gazing through her heavy bangs at the papers. Resolutely, Ruby pulled her backto the table, shoving their books aside and spreading the papers out across theopen surface. She draped an arm comfortingly over Sapphire’s shoulder andkissed her forehead, pressing her face against her hair for a tender moment. Her own studies were long forgotten, but that wasn’t a difficult feat. She wasn’tstupid; rather, she lacked the patience for regular schooling, whereas Sapphirehad all the patience in the world, and twice the brainpower. This was onesituation, however, where Ruby was more prepared.
Quietly, sheskimmed what Sapphire had written so far. It was a half-finished assignment, aplague that Ruby was all too familiar with, a creative writing project. WhileEnglish was far from Ruby’s forte, she always had the easiest time withcreative pursuits, writing being but one medium.
