[well-riddle-me-this]

This is the story of a man named Edward.

Edward reguarded himself very highly, and believed he was the smartest person to ever grace the earth. He'd make puzzles and riddles, all to show the world what he could do.

But he had an underlying insecurity that none of it was true, that at the wrong moment he'd get something horribly wrong in front of everybody, or he wouldn't be able to solve something.

Edward tended to push these thoughts down and replace them with ego boosts, more riddles, and even more puzzles.

Late one night, he was tossing and turning. Edward just couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried. He sat up out of bed, and turned on his light

*he was tossing a turning but then stopped when he heard a voice. A very clear voice at that. He shot up from his bed looking around quickly confused to see no one else in the room. He grabs the gun from his drawer by his bed. He looked around again fully adjusted to the darkness still see nothing. He was wishing he was in his hideout that was riddled with cameras but he is currently at his apartment which didn't have the same security but he would at least heard someone break in he assumed*

So you just come into people's houses, insult them, and kill them I assume. Let me guess you also call yourself the narrator too.

Also not in the entire world just Gotham. Even that's too presumptuous for me. I can have some humility.

*He peaks around the corner ready to shoot at any moment*

Opinion on Barbara Gordon? You two were rather close at one point, yes?

Technically we still are. I call her from time to time mostly to check how things are going.

She's definitely more than I expected her to be when I first met her. I thought the daughter of Gordon would be more of a goody two shoes, but she has some real hacking skills on her. She was too smart to be working for the GCPD.

She was quite fun. Especially in her revenge arc. Seeing her put so much effort into exposing an ex-enemy of ours almost makes me proud.

My overall opinion of her is good, but we can't really talk much do to me being a criminal because even tho she's not with the police anymore she's still with Batman so if I'm not careful I might get ratted out.

It's strange seeing so many different versions of you.. At this point I don't really know which one is "my" Eddie and which ones are just "A Riddler".

Not that it matters that much, truly. Most Riddlers are just as pleasant to interact with.

Well unless you're Riddler was Muslim, and known for being absolute bitch to everyone while not caring about etiquette or whatever the fuck then it's probably not me. I probably look the most unique, all the others kind of blend together pale, orange hair, tall, suit, ego, ect ect, are you usually to go to.

Nevertheless I don't usually get people asking to work with me without immediately mentioning payment. Of course you'll be paid I'm not unreasonable, but I will gladly have you in mind.
