i've been going back and forth on whether or not to share my asoryuu fankid but. i want to. so! meet Ryuzu, an academic studying anthropology with a focus on the transition period between the Edo and Meiji eras. She's a queer rights activist trying to work out why things changed exactly the way that they did.

I think Daley is a really well developed side character and I wish there was a bit more resolution with him and Evie in game but oh well, that's what fanfics are for. But they just make sense to me (a lot more than other certain Fran pairings :P); messy WLW relationships FTW. There's a lot of amazing art of them that I enjoy! I guess I just don't find Asoryuu as interesting as some other ships involving them? I prefer Ryuunosuke with BVZ or Susato, and Kazuma I don't really ship with anyone , although I've read him with BVZ, Gina, or the concept of him and Rei, and all of those are more interesting to me than Asoryuu. Again nothing wrong with Asoryuu, it just falls a bit flat for me in terms of depth. I've seen a lot of cute art of them and after watching TFATWS I definitely understand the appeal of it. I just have this perception that a romantic relationship for either of them at the point where TFATWS leaves off is not what they need?
