It had been two days since Fabian last saw Aspen in person. The longer the time gathered, the more he kept thinking about her and the coat that had been lent to her. It was vexing, perplexing, and all together odd to have his mind sidetracked by her presence. Today, he decided to finally call her, but when she answered, he had a moment of pause before pushing forward.

"Ms. Tracker, this is Fabian Bishop," he started automatically. "I was inquiring about how you got on after parting ways."
