[ The patrol comes across a squirrel. It's engrossed in nibbling at a morsel beneath a tree.] [ Proceed ] ⊲ [ Stealthily, Freckle stalks forward. The squirrel has no idea what's coming as she pounces on it and breaks its neck. ]

[ ??? gives Freckle a big piece of fresh-kill. ]

[ Freckle Is sitting in the shade trying to hide from the heat ] [ ??? rolls his eyes when Freckle suggests sharing their fresh-kill with other colonies ]

Oh I had so much fun drawing everyone's kitties and trying out this style on so many varied and beautiful designs 🥰 I drew them all smiling because I want all these characters to flourish and be happy🥺

Fogpool is the founder of @cycloneclangen - I adore his gorgeous flowing fur and design, hes so stylish even when its so dang wimdy, the design always stuck out the first time I saw it. I'm looking forward to seeing how he survives on his own after the storm!!

Piperdapple is the fluffiest warrior of @sporeclan whomst design is one of my FAVOURITEs with the poofy fur and striped tail, but I also love her childish whimsy!! Looking forward to seeing her litter soon 😍 Sporeclan is so unpredictable with its mean rng qwq Fogfreckle is the wonderful deputy and brother of @nimbusclan 's leader, and I've always loved his design!! Clangen's heart pattern pelt becoming clouds is so creative, his eyes are so bright and augh- I'm so worried for this lil cat after the last update. He better be oKAY!

Velociraptor is a newer member of @clangenthriftclan that I just spent today reading and wowow I love the story of this comic. The style is wonderfully varied with the shape and expressions and it compliments the story so well - its a really long running clangen which is so inspiring to me. Definitely following for more ouo

Coniferheart is the deputy of Gravelclan, the starring story of @passing-moments !! I just read through this story too and I'm so interested to see more of the character's backstories and about that strange white kitty who gifted those 9 lives 👀

And last but not least! Shadestar the leader of @tidalclan I love the style of Tidalclan so much, there's so much personality in all the characters, and the journey from being 2 apprentices and a kit to a full clan is always so fun and interesting 🥺The latest lore drop was ough

Welcome to my clangen side blog!

Astray is a comic based on my clangen file, where I'll be playing 1 full year (12 moons) ahead and then drawing out the events that happen to my little kitties. I'll change around the order of events and adding bits and lore as we go, and I do meddle with game files as I want 'cos I want to tell a satisfying and fun story.

This is based on the vanilla clangen game with the mechanics, set roles and naming conventions within the game, but Astray will not be a typical warriors setting.

General Content warnings include:

Death, Animal death, Violence, Injury, Blood, Torture, Abuse, Drama, Swearing/Language, Car accidents etc. Let me know If I missed anything!

I'm Clovey, any pronouns are fine though she/her is my default, based in the Uk and 25+, and have been trying to start a clangen comic for a while and this is the first to get past moon 1 so I'm committing now :)

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's already followed this blog in excitement for the coming story 🥹

Means a lot to see people interested in something I create and every like and reblog inspires me to keep going! This story I'm writing is mostly for myself to see if I Can achieve a full story in comic form, but also because I adore the clangen community of art, writing and creators here 🥰 I'm very inspired by everyone's talent, stories and commitment!!!

As such I want to do a little fanart and take a break from grinding out pages - so please!! Edit: I have 6 cats now!! Thank you for your requests :) I'm excited to get drawing them<3

Reply/Reblog this with your own or Favourite clangen ocs (ones you know are okay with fanart) and I'll draw them in my own comic style! Pretty please name specific cats and clangen blogs/comics with a visual reference somewhere for them just to make it easier <3
