Oh, absolutely.

The problem though, lies in how the kids in the end were never meant to be a savior trio, just someone who stop/defeat the Villains so that they could be the greatest Heroes.

Their villains become an obstacle in their path a path that's about beating the bad guy to save the innocent bystanders.

The problem is that this is not the Shie Hassaikai arc.

We don't have a Eri we're really invested to save and some Villains like the eight bullet or Overhaul who yes, have a sad backstory, but this is revealed too late for us to realize they need saving too so we want them to be defeated and we don't think too much about them being jailed afterward.

A good part of the fandom saw Tomura, Himiko and Touya as the ones who needed saving, not the nameless civilians we hardly cared about.

Instead Horikoshi didn't see them as victims, he wanted us to see them as Villains, who are to blame for their own actions, who have to take responsibility for them.

It's not just Touya who end up in that horrid contraption that's likely in a Villain hospital, Himiko too was meant to end in jail, then he realized the fans wouldn't be happy to see her there and considered killing her, then considered also letting her live but no, it couldn't be done because it would mean no one would take responsibility and this was more important. The Villains had to take responsibility.

Society didn't have to take responsibility for how it handled them but the Villains had because they 'decided' not to endure being miserable.

And so we've Uraraka who says Himiko can't be forgiven, she has to be put in jail, we've Uraraka who doesn't tell her that no, the Heroes won't kill her because she's a minor and you can't sentence to death a minor in Japan, but hey, Uraraka isn't going to do the kill and she wants to know what made her tick and she's willing to give her blood as she is jailed and wait for execution, isn't that cool?

But somehow it works because she wants to talk with her about love and thinks her smile is perfect, not creepy at all and will give her some blood (how it's never said as if Himiko is jailed in the equivalent of Tartarus for sure they'll never let her meet Uraraka and even less they'll let her ingest Uraraka's blood).

And so Himiko stops the attack and talks with her just in time for her transformation to fade without her killing a single Hero.

Pardon, she stabbed Uraraka.

And so, in order to save the only person she managed to hurt, she dies in the most convoluted way, remarking that Uraraka's world would never accept her and that the one the League would build would be a lot more accepting of her. But hey, she doesn't want to die in a world without Uraraka so she dies.

And hey, had she known sooner she could use her Quirk to donate blood maybe things would have been different because she could have turned into an instant blood bank for people in need of transfusion. Wouldn't that had been cool?

Okay, now I'm being very bitter and sarcastic and there are good parts in the whole fight between Uraraka and Himiko but most of it is forced and doesn't really flow naturally, with Uraraka deciding Himiko should talk with her only when Himiko is at advantage instead than as soon as they meet and Asui that tells Himiko she should listen Uraraka because the fact she's willing to talk with her is such a big deal that Himiko should give Uraraka a chance, listen her and then surrender, get in jail and be executed (okay, she didn't say the last part but it was implied).
