Hana-Admin here with a tiny announcement.

I have recently brought in another doctor (while Hanbyul is retired until the muse comes back for her, if the muse comes back). His name, as you can see from the application is Jisoo.

Background out of the way, here’s the announcement part:

Jisoo will from this point on be my admin faceclaim. Like, Hana is great but half the time, Zinger starts answering people and she is not.... Human Resource friendly?

So, Jisoo will be a more professional face and etc, etc, etc, etc. I will still answer admin questions from Hana’s acc; not very picky in that department. This is just a heads up if you go to the asylum blog and see Jisoo’s pic in the admins positions with Jiyong and you start to freak out and think I left or whatever. 

I didn’t leave. I’m still here.

I don't want to make this post. I'll just be really honest and serious right now, I hate making posts like this. I've only had to do it once before and it felt shitty but now, it's cutting me to my fucking core. But if I don't do it now, I'll never do it. I've tried 3 times already and at this, point, I just need to get it over with.

After several reports and an official statement from SM Entertainment, it has been confirmed that we as a KPOP fandom have lost one of our bright stars, SHINee's Jonghyun.

There are no words, no expressions, no sentiments that can been said to those of us who practically grew up listening to his voice, watching his smile, caring for his soul. Fans old and new have a hole in the pit of their beings that can never be filled again. I know. Believe me, I know. His death is an absolute punch in my fucking gut. He, along with many others, were a source of light in my life during some dark days and knowing I'll never get to see that smile light up a stage once more leaves a feeling of loss so great I can't describe it.

In light of this news, Jonghyun will no longer be available to roleplay within this directory, out of respect to him, his family, and shawols.

It was a decision that Ji and I made as admins with the deaths of Rise and Eun-B back in 2014 and we didn't think we would ever have to make an announcement like that ever again or so soon.

Please, remember to be respectful of Jonghyun's family, friends, colleagues, and fans. We are all hurting and trying to comprehend this loss. Be kind, be sympathetic, be empathetic, and remember to take care of yourselves.

For all that you have brought into our lives Jonghyun, thank you. My world, at least, will always be better for having known you existed, brighter for all the joy you brought to it, and hopeful that even if you couldn't find it in life, peace was finally gifted to you.

Jeju Bulletin

Dear Seoul Psychiatric Residents, 

Once again, we are preparing for our summer rendezvous to the luxurious facility based at the Hyatt on Jeju Island. As we get closer to the date for take off, we would like to remind you that this trip and facility are designed to give you not only the best care, but a brief vacation from the monotonous, and sometimes dreary, grind of treatment.

But, do not misunderstand! Treatment and therapy sessions will continue at Jeju just as they have at the home facility as well as any orders that were put in place.

Now that we are at least two weeks away from our leave date, we would like to remind you that at the Hyatt facility, you will have roommates. As such, this annoucement is to inform you of the person you will be rooming with for the three month stay at the Jeju facility. Please get acquainted with your future roommate and keep your eyes open for further updates as we get closer to take off.

Please Interact with Others

Hello everyone. I'd like to bring up a concern that has recently been discussed with me and I'd like to bring it to the attention of the Asylum family. There isn't much interaction going on and there seems to be a lot of people seeking it. From experience, I've made posts announcing I was free to talk or open for plotting. I never get a response for the most part. The only people that talk to me are possibly the same three people I talk to often.

Now, this notice isn't for my behalf but it was brought up that this is happening with others as well. I understand that not everyone feels social from time to time and that's fine, but PLEASE if someone reblogs a meme, be kind and send them a message. They want one. If someone wants to plot or interaction, you don't have to for every single person, but please do respond to them from time to time. If you don't know how your muse would approach their's, send them a message and try to plot it out instead.

There's so many people that want interaction but don't get it and their muses end up going unnoticed. Now, if your muse goes unnoticed, you'd stop enjoying the whole point of rping, wouldn't you? So please be kind and respond to some people.

Just A Couple Adminy Things

First up, and I'll start with the super fun times stuff cause, it's better start with fun stuff.

Because it's Block B week and we're all just.....everywhere......and because there was some interest shown in doing a group tinychat for the directory, I propose that we shoot for the first one on Saturday, June 28th. I'm (Zinger) open to suggestions on this so, any thoughts about time or anything else, just shoot me a message. I'll do my best to review them while I'm in DC over the next 4 days. So, mark Saturday on your calendars and we'll see what we can do.

Second, and Jiyong has already one the reblogging of the original post but I'll reiterate it here because, there have been some complaints.

KEEP. OOC. POSTS. TO. A. NULL.

Expressing likes and dislikes are fine but if it is not relevant to your muse currently, it clutters the dashboard. I know it may seem dead here sometimes but if the dash is full of OOC posts we won't be able to see the IC posts that we need to.

So keep the reblogging and conversations that are OOC to a minimum and, ideally, a null. Accidents happen, we get it. But if it's constant, something needs to change,

It looks like I'm going to be on a forced semi-hiatus.

I don't want to have to do this, however there is only so much I can do from my phone and my standard replies are not one of them, especially with what mobile does to reblogs. But without a working laptop and having to put focus on the homework I lost/need to complete with my laptop giving up the ghost, I need to proritize what I can do and what I need to do. I'm sorry. This might be for a while. I'm already facing some serious financial troubles without making much of it myself so being able to afford a replacement is iffy going forward. I'll do what I can with replies but I only have so much paitence being tied to my phone for everything so they will be hella spread out. Brief Reminder

School and work have started for your resident admins so response time to asks and application is on a lag in accordance to the amount of free time we have. This goes double for me (Zinger) when it comes to questions about the specifics of psychology, abnormal psychology, professional ethics. Many of those questions require a bit of research and the research I do for my classes comes first.
