@atomancy starter from david wymack for andrew minyard

𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚜𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚎𝚛. and andrew’s lot found themselves hanging out around campus yet again as nicky, andrew and aaron couldn’t drag kevin or neil away from the court for more than a couple days at a time. the pair were practicing on the court as andrew sat in the bleachers when david had stopped by to pick up some papers. ❝ hey, ❞ david’s voice echoed in the empty court. loud and assertive but he knew it would fall on deaf ears of the maniacs on the court. ❝ got a second to chat or are ya going to tell me to fuck off? ❞

Out Now: Ice-T & Mr. X Release Remixes & Remakes Album...
EBE Nation is a serious record label with an experimental, techno bent. It’s fearless. It’s timeless.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) December 21, 2018
Decisive. Incisive. Raw. Since launching their new electronic dance music (EDM) record label, Electronic Beat Empire – also known as EBE Nation – founders Ice-T and Mr. X have been on a roll recording and releasing new music. The latest effort is Remixes & Remakes (Electronic Beat Empire), out now.
EBE Nation is a serious record label with an experimental, techno bent. It’s fearless. It’s timeless. The Wasabi Bytes remix of Mr. X’s “Alright” is hauntingly irresistible and utterly groovy, an eerily good tech-house track like something from an alien planet. Mr. X’s “Atomic Age” gets a double treatment with remixes by Tyree Cooper and another one by Wasabi Bytes. Tyree Cooper takes “Atomic Age” and slows the tempo for a sultry, throwback vibe that’s at once thrilling and narcotic. Wasabi Bytes takes the track and infuses it with an electro-inspired magic that propels it forward onto a dizzying dancefloor. On “Hunted Child” (2019 Remix), Ice-T’s urgent rapping is social commentary spotlighting the desperation so familiar to inner-city youth forced to survive life on the streets as victims of systemic inequality. “Bounce That Ass” (Mr. X 2019 Remix) features the timeless, bad-ass rapping of Ice-T in this sitar-infused ode to twerking. “The Brutal” (2019 Remix) is taken from EBE Nation’s inaugural release of the same name with the 2019 remix exhibiting an acid-jazzy vibe that’s a pleasant surprise. “The Dancing Gypsy” (Mr. X Remix) takes Eastern Europe’s minor-chord melodies and reinterprets them into this fully danceable track. A ruthless breakbeat on “The EBE Commercial” (Mr. X Remix) takes the track’s techno roots and twists them with hip-hop’s rhythmic, staccato vocals. “House Sauce” (2019 Remix) is a tech-house track ruled by a disembodied female vocal warning, “they’re here / they’re here / run / I’m scared / run / I’m scared,” an allusion to extra-terrestrials that are already here. “Not Tech Enuff” (Mr. X 2019 Remix) is a thrilling joyride down an urban highway, one that allows the listener to experience life as though racing through a video game.
About Ice-T
Ice-T is a rapper, actor and record producer whose influence on American pop culture cannot be understated. Once an edgy and controversial rapper, Ice-T is as relevant in pop culture today as any mainstream actor/musician/entrepreneur. Ice-T is today widely known as an actor for his recurring role as police Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” a syndicated television police drama on which he’s starred since 2000. That show is on track to become one of the longest-running television programs in history. A great irony is that Ice-T’s perhaps most notorious early rap song was a collaboration with the band Body Count in 1992 on a track titled, “Cop Killer,” a groove metal and punk-rock song that left an indelible mark on pop culture. Ice-T’s 1988 song, “Colors,” was the theme song for Dennis Hopper’s gang-based film of the same name. Subsequent albums by Ice-T in the 1980’s cemented his status as one of the West Coast’s most promising voices, with albums like O.G. Original Gangster (1991) often cited as one of the key factors in influencing the genre today known as “gangsta rap.” Mixing social commentary with inflammatory lyrics, Ice-T pushed musical boundaries by recording and performing with the heavy metal band, Body Count. Ice-T has achieved multiple Billboard hit singles, including collaborations with heavy metal bands, Black Sabbath and Slayer. In addition to the “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” television series, other acting roles for Ice-T include the reality show with his wife, Nicole “Coco Austin, “Ice Loves Coco,” on the E! Entertainment Television Network. Early film acting roles for Ice-T (real name: Tracy Lauren Marrow) include, New Jack City (1991), Ricochet (1991), Trespass (1992) and Johnny Mnemonic (1995).
A great deal of media attention in the EDM world has been paid lately to Ice-T’s new record label, Electronic Beat Empire, with coverage appearing in publications: Rolling Stone, DJ Times, RaverMag, OneEDM, TMZ.com, YourEDM, Songfacts, EDMTunes, EDMSauce, EDM World Magazine, RappersRoom, DigitalJournal, ThatDrop, TheDJList, and more. American radio stations have also taken note of Electronic Beat Empire and its releases, with on-air coverage on: SiriusXM Radio “BPM,” SiriusXM “Volume,” SiriusXM “Rock The Bells Radio,” SiriusXM “Shade45; iHeartRadio “Weekend Top30 Countdown”; WPRO-FM (Boston/Providence) “Electric Dance Party”; KLUC-FM Radio (Las Vegas) “Club 985”; Groove Radio; 93.5FM Radio (Miami); 104.7FM Radio (Fort Lauderdale); Pulse Radio, and more. Ice-T remains an American icon.
About Mr. X
Mr. X has been a fixture on the European techno scene for 16 years. He was, together with Westbam, part of the group known as Mr. X & Mr. Y. As a DJ and producer, Mr. X (aka Afrika Islam) thrilled audiences at now-legendary raves, the Glastonbury Festival, Berlin’s Love Parade, and the seminal Mayday Festivals across Europe. Nightclubs across the European continent saw Mr. X performing throughout Germany, Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic. The die-hard techno music-lovers of Eastern Europe took a strong liking to Mr. X, affectionately dubbing him the Machine Gun, the Red Alien, Master, and the Hybrid, due to his legendary 50-track DJ sets. Mainstream media outlets in Europe embraced Mr. X and he appeared on the British television program, “Top Of The Pops.” Mr. X is the first major artist signing to the newly launched Electronic Beat Empire record imprint with the first release, The Brutal E.P. The second album released on EBE was Hip Hop DJs Don’t Play Techno, an album which earned an enormous amount of media coverage and radio airplay in the U.S. in 2018. The album It Came From Space followed in December 2018. The current album is Remixes & Remakes.

23 Thoughts You Have As 23 Audi A23 Review Approaches | 23 audi a23 review
DIGITAL EDITOR ANDREW STOY: Beautiful to attending at and sit in, the 2013 Audi S7 about larboard me with alloyed feelings, abundant as it’s kissin’ accessory the S6 did. There’s annihilation amiss with the administration feel or anatomy dynamics; the agent is magnificent, able of casting one like a sixth grader’s spitball, but the dual-clutch automated exhibits abundant awe-inspiring behaviors to blemish abundant of the fun.
23 Audi A23 Review | Best Car Site for Women | VroomGirls – 2013 audi a7 review | 2013 audi a7 review
At tip-in, there’s abundant rubber-banding to accomplish one anticipate they’re in a approved automated with a apart torque converter. The aftereffect is affiliated to what I’d brainstorm a affliction body actuality catapulted over a burghal bank ability experience…were it not a body (shame too; it’s affectionate of fun in its own way). Upshifts and downshifts are performed bound enough, but in action approach they’re abnormally timed and decidedly harsh, as if the gearbox aback began channeling the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR while the blow of the car remained an Audi.
In the end, what’s absent is the mechanical, belly attributes of the powertrain begin on the S4. Abundant if it can be traced to the use of a dual-clutch consecutive chiral against a acceptable chiral transmission, and I accept it’s additionally accompanying to the blazon of chump who purchases the beyond Audi sports sedans against the A4/S4 buyer. But as far as driver’s cars go, the S4 (and S5) artlessly bear added of the absolute lever-connected-to-gears affiliation I prefer.
Damn if it isn’t pretty, though.
EDITOR WES RAYNAL: I accept alloyed animosity about the Audi S7. Adulation the exoteric shape; I anticipate it’s aloof stunning. I mostly adulation the autogenous as well. It’s comfortable, chic and beautifully built. So why do I say “mostly” about the interior? Because I’d like it a accomplished lot bigger after the head-up affectation that array of sticks out like the accepted abscessed deride on top of the dash.
And afresh there’s the transmission. Yes, that’s area I air-conditioned off — sometimes. There’s the rubber-banding appear aloft authoritative launches from lights uneven. But it’s not absolutely that per se, it’s that the activity is intermittent. Sometimes the car will cruise abroad calmly from lights. Sometimes there’s a averseness as if one is bottomward the clamp on a chiral chiral car. The accomplished acquaintance is aloof weird. It seems the beneath you cossack the bigger it is, but again, sometimes it aloof acts up. Trying the assorted ambience didn’t assume to help. The transmission’s alternate aberancy connected throughout the weekend.
Once underway the affair is fantastic. The agent is bland and there’s absolutely abundant ability actuality and added than abundant anchor — it’s one of those attenuate birds that feels lighter to drive than it absolutely is. For acquisitive up bags of artery afar I can anticipate of few cars accomplishing it better.
Overall, I like the S7 a lot. I aloof ambition the chiral was added seamless and there was no head-up affectation to accomplish the autogenous a bit tacky.
23 AUDI A23 – Image #123 – 2013 audi a7 review | 2013 audi a7 review
Other than that, this car is actual nice.
ROAD TEST EDITOR JONATHAN WONG: We’ve broiled up to Audi’s A7 about the Autoweek appointment back it accustomed on the market. The exoteric sheetmetal is elegant, the rear bear offers some added utility, it has a beautifully done autogenous and with the 3.0-liter supercharged V6, it’s a adequately absorbing car to drive.
In the S7 we accept added ability with the turbo V8, acicular handling, sportier administration touches and an autogenous that has some of the best admiring and adequate in the business.
Compared to the A7, the S7 packs 110 added application (310 against 420) and 81-lb-ft added torque (325 against 406). Audi says the S7 gets to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, while the A7 needs 5.4 seconds.
In abode of the eight-speed torque-converted automated in the A7 there’s a seven-speed dual-clutch consecutive chiral in the S7, which happens to be my alone big afraid point to the car. I’ll get into that added after on.
On the outside, the S7 gets specific fascias, argent mirror caps, ancillary sills and bankrupt outlets.
The amount to advancement from an A7 Prestige to an S7 (which is alone accessible in Prestige trim) is $12,650, which isn’t too crazy if you accede how quick a sticker amount can jump on European cars if you go a little bonkers with options. Is it account it? I anticipate it is, but the abuse dual-clutch chiral is putting a damper on the affair for me. Like the S6 I collection afore this S7, the aerial burke acknowledgment at tip-in collection me crazy over the weekend. Maybe with some programming alterations Audi could bland things out. Or at atomic I achievement they can.
Car and Driver: 223 Audi A223 23.23T Quattro vs. 223123 BMW 6423i Gran Coupe – 2013 audi a7 review | 2013 audi a7 review
Once you’re affective along, things are accomplished with quick up- and downshifts abnormally back the Audi Drive Select arrangement is set to Dynamic. Dynamic additionally quickens council response, increases weight and the S7 stays durably buried about corners with little roll.
The agent is a acceptable allotment with the 406-lb-ft of adorable torque accessible at aloof 1,400 rpm, which is affectionate of decrepit by the apathetic burke tip-in response. Throughout the rev ambit ability is strong, which is nice. Slowing affairs is additionally accessible with acceptable brakes that calmly abrade acceleration off with a close pedal feel.
The absolutely abundant affair about all these affluence sports sedans with adjustable anatomy and burke mapping settings is that at the advance of a button you can about-face the car from aciculate and acquisitive to a car that’s adequate to docilely rolling about back you’re aloof dabbling home from work. With Audi Drive Select in Comfort, the car can be adequate with a berth that’s able-bodied abandoned from wind babble and alone a little bit of annoy babble from the 20-inch summer tires award its way into the interior. The abeyance damps out alley imperfections able-bodied and council feel is lighter.
In archetypal Audi form, the autogenous is accurately done with best abstracts and the above advanced action seats are adequate and supportive. Audi’s MMI interface charcoal my admired one amid affluence makes with the controls aural accessible ability on the centermost console.
The S7 is a nice car with an adorable silhouette, a bang of an engine, a anatomy that can be both bound and adequately absorbing or calm and adequate and an autogenous that’s aloof a nice abode to absorb time in. If Audi remedies the burke tip-in, the S7 would be abreast perfect. Now, let’s get our easily on the RS7.

Every Friday, artists drop anticipated albums, surprise singles, and hyped collaborations. As part of New Music Friday, EW’s music team chooses some of the essential new tunes. From Foo Fighters’ raucous return to Fifth Harmony’s first post-Camila single, here are the week’s most noteworthy releases.
Foo Fighters, “Run”
The latest single from Dave Grohl & Co. is unadulterated alt-rock radio goodness, fusing the sweeping arpeggios of 2007’s “The Pretender” with the breakneck thrash of 2011’s “Rope.” The Foos might’ve dressed up as old folks for the song’s music video, but that’s only because on record they sound as youthfully vital as ever. —Eric Renner Brown
Fifth Harmony ft. Gucci Mane, “Down”
The first Fifth Harmony single since Camila Cabello’s 2016 departure features a bouncing beat, polished vocals, and an unlikely assist from Atlanta trap king Gucci Mane. Best of all, the unexpected union totally works. —E.R.B.
Lorde, “Perfect Places”
For the closer from her upcoming second album Melodrama, due June 16, the New Zealand pop sensation turned to “Green Light” collaborators Jack Antonoff and Frank Dukes once again, as well as Miike Snow frontman Andrew Wyatt. The resulting cut is — you guessed it — another blast of anthemic arena-pop girded by vibrant synths and stomping percussion. —E.R.B.
Arcade Fire, “Everything Now”
The wait for new music from the Canadian indie-rockers has been long — outside of their January collaboration with Mavis Staples, they’ve stayed largely quiet since their absolutely bonkers 2013 double LP Reflektor. But they rewarded patient fans Thursday with the announcement of their fifth album, Everything Now, and the release of its slow-rolling title track. Queue this up and hit the road — this is highway music at its finest. —Madison Vain
Bleachers, “Gone Now”
In recent years, Jack Antonoff’s name has been associated with superstar collaborators like Lorde and Taylor Swift — but Bleachers’ second album, an anthemic collection built around the ideas of loss and moving forward, proves the musician’s just as impressive as a frontman as he is behind the scenes. With songs that range from jazzy to full-on pop, the set is a cohesive but varied compilation of sounds tied together by Antonoff’s dance-worthy brand of catharsis. —Ariana Bacle
Radiohead, “I Promise”
OKNOTOK, the forthcoming 20th-anniversary reissue of Radiohead’s seminal OK Computer, will contain three previously unreleased tracks. Friday, the British alt-rockers shared one of them, “I Promise,” and a music video to go along with it. The cut is peak ’90s Radiohead, with a rat-a-tat, military-issue drum beat and solemnly strummed guitars that evoke “Fake Plastic Trees.” —E.R.B.
Halsey, “hopeless fountain kingdom”
Since breaking big in 2015 with her lo-fi debut, Badlands, Halsey has sung on the Chainsmokers massive hit “Closer,” duetted with Justin Bieber, and, along with playing massive festivals like Coachella, sold out Madison Square Garden. Now, she’s returned with her arena-sized second LP. “Badlands was this kind of DIY record,” she told EW last month. “Now I’ve toured the world and have dans that I want to make happy. The space I need to fill with my sound is not a bedroom anymore, it’s an arena.” —M.V.
Dan Auerbach, “Waiting on a Song”
In a recent interview with EW, the Black Keys frontman described his second solo effort as a “musical stew” of American genres including rock, country, blues, and soul. Auerbach invited ace session musicians such as John Prine, Duane Eddy, and Jerry Douglas to his Nashville studio to bring cuts like shuffling “Livin’ in Sin” and slinky “Cherrybomb” to life. —E.R.B.
Major Lazer, “Know No Better”
Just in time for summer, Major Lazer have returned with a six-song EP packed with club-oriented, globally influenced jams. “Our goals are just to make great music,” de facto frontman Diplo told EW earlier this week. “and these [songs] are all pretty weird.” Dig in. —M.V.
Roger Waters, “Is This the Life We Really Want?”
For the Pink Floyd founder’s first solo album in 25 years, he teamed with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. Originally conceived as a radio play, it’s long on ballads, but there is the killer uptempo rocker, “Smell the Roses.” It’s also full of his characteristic doomsaying: “It’s like truth is now a completely alien concept,” Waters told EW in May. “Keep people dumb, uneducated, whatever, so you can go on milking them.” —Kevin O’Donnell
alt-J, “Relaxer”
Delicate and sinister, alt-J’s third album is an exercise in extremes and experimentation. “Hit Me Like a Snare Drum” is straight from the ’60s-era New York rock scene, while the menacing “In Cold Blood” could easily soundtrack the villain’s entrance in a ’90s video game. “They are eight very different songs and eight very different moods,” the group’s keyboardist and vocalist Gus Unger-Hamilton told EW. “It’s quite a well-balanced meal — gives you all the food groups emotionally.” The English band could have easily peaked in 2012 when they won the coveted Mercury Prize for their debut, An Awesome Wave; Relaxer is proof that’s far from true. —A.B.
Liam Gallagher, “Wall of Glass”
The mercurial Oasis singer teamed with star producer Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sia) for his swaggering solo single, off his upcoming full-length As You Were. “Wall of Glass” isn’t Oasis, but with its wailing harmonica, angelic backing vocals, and propulsive guitar, it ably revives the iconic sound of the legendary Britpop group’s early records. —E.R.B.
Prophets of Rage, “Unf— the World”
When Prophets of Rage — the supergroup comprised of Rage Against the Machine members, Public Enemy’s Chuck D, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real — debuted last year, they seemed to be a temporary novelty borne from the unrest wrought by America’s controversial election season. But the election of Donald Trump appears to have spurred the radically progressive hard-rock group, and they’re releasing their self-titled debut album in September. Over a quintessentially pummeling RATM beat, Chuck lays out their mission statement on “Unf— the World”: “Give a damn, evil can’t stand when the people take a stand.” Michael Moore directed the cut’s disturbing video, adding to its incendiary effect. —E.R.B.
Elton John & Jack White, “Two Fingers of Whiskey”
For The American Epic Sessions, Jack White and T Bone Burnett recreated Depression-era recording equipment and invited modern artists of all stripes to cut versions of classic tunes. They’ve already released songs by Nas and Alabama Shakes off the upcoming compilation and shared the White and Elton John collaboration “Two Fingers of Whiskey” on Thursday. John’s honky-tonk piano and White’s raw guitar highlight the song, composed by the former’s longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. —E.R.B.
Amber Coffman, “City of No Reply”
The debut solo LP from the former Dirty Projectors singer-guitarist is a batch of 11 effervescent indie-pop songs. “No Coffee” and “Dark Night” feature irresistible, instantly memorable melodies, while cuts like “If You Want My Heart” incorporate some of the sonic weirdness that defined her previous band. “I wanted to do this since I was about five years old,” Coffman told EW last month of the project, which features musicians like percussionist Mauro Refosco (Atoms for Peace, Red Hot Chili Peppers). “It was a really special experience.” —E.R.B.
Dua Lipa, “Dua Lipa”
“I never want to seem weak in my songs,” the 21-year-old told EW earlier this year. “The second I start writing a sad song, I always change it to make it seem like I was more empowered.” That approach yielded her debut, which is the disco record of the summer and features proven hits like “Be the One” and “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” along with fresh cuts like the strutting Miguel duet “Lost in Your Light.” —K.O.
The War on Drugs, “Holding On”
Propelled by twinkling synths and shimmering guitars, the lead single from the Philly band’s upcoming album A Deeper Understanding, out August 25, picks up where their 2014 smash Lost in the Dream left off: Windows-down-and-speeding-down-the-highway heartland rock bliss. —E.R.B.
PARTYNEXTDOOR, “COLOURS 2” EP
The four-song surprise EP from the OVO-affiliated crooner is a gorgeous, brief display of his chilly, after-hours R&B. —E.R.B.
Todd Terje, “Maskindans”
No word yet on when fans can expect the second album from the Norwegian disco-house artist, but Terje dropped a kinetic cover Det Gylne Triangel’s 1982 song “Maskindans” Friday — featuring fresh vocals from Triangel. Nearly breaking 10 minutes, the unrelenting track is another essential dancefloor odyssey from Terje. —E.R.B.
Various Artists, “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)”
The soundtrack for the Captain Underpants film adaptation is as outrageous and silly as the movie it accompanies. There are original compositions from Lil Yachty, Adam Lambert, and, of course, “Weird Al” Yankovic’s absurd theme song for the tidy whitey crimefighter. —E.R.B.
Benjamin Booker, “Witness”
The 27-year-old Booker sounds something like Otis Redding covering Ty Segall in an abandoned warehouse. His second album is also his best, from the Arcs-esque lilt of “Overtime” to the gospel-tinged title track. —E.R.B.
Broken Social Scene, “Skyline”
Broken Social Scene are no strangers to lyrical repetition — 2003’s “Anthems for a 17-Year-Old Girl,” one of the Canadian collective’s best-known tracks, is almost entirely made of the hypnotizing chant, “Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me” — so it’s no surprise their latest song, the folksy “Skyline,” is just one repeating verse. It’s also unsurprising that its four minutes don’t redundant or tired, but soaring, rousing, and perfect for sunsets. —A.B.
Luke Combs, “This One’s For You”
The country breakout found chart success this year with his moody rocker “Hurricane” — and now he’s dropped a whole collection of scorchers. His debut LP scans the modern country landscape, blending nostalgic heartland rock (“Memories Are Made Of”), cornfield-sized party jams (“Beer Can”), honky-tonk delights (“Honky Tonk Highway”), and bleeding-heart guitar ballads (“One Number Away”). —M.V.
U2, “The Joshua Tree” (Super Deluxe Reissue)
Not lucky enough to catch U2 on their special summer tour commemorating the 25th anniversary of their seminal album The Joshua Tree? Never fear: The Irish rockers have goodies for you, too. This sprawling reissue collects the original album, B-sides from the era, fresh remixes, and a 1987 live set from Madison Square Garden for the definitive document of perhaps the band’s greatest period. —E.R.B.
Bob Marley & The Wailers, “Exodus 40”
The album that TIME named the best of the 20th century celebrates its 40th anniversary tomorrow, and this three-disc reissue marks the occasion. There’s the classic LP, but also a reworked, resequenced version by Marley’s son Ziggy — featuring unearthed vocals and instrumental passages from the sessions — and a sizzling 1977 Marley concert recorded at London’s Rainbow Theatre. —E.R.B.
