Superbat lover's quarrel edition where Clark would randomly slip intl his Midwestern accent when he's getting all irritated and sarcastic during their arguement but as soon as he slips to his accent(most esp when he's being sarcastic) Bruce melts and like doze off for second because like I'm supposed to be irrtated at you, the things you did, your argument with me and the way you think! Why must it be so sexy tho?

Bruce: Yeah no kidding, genius, your supposed "plan" almost blew the city up!

Clark: Yeah no prob, sweetcheeks. Not even a single gratitude for saving your ass, huh?

Bruce: *is clearly annoyed and expresses the whole thing by either knocking things up on purpose or giving Clark the silent SILENT treatment*

Clark: *was quick to catch the falling stuff that Bruce apparently decided to knock over*

Clark: Woah real mature there, aren't you, Hon? Just giving me all your silent "hn" and decideds to be such a doll today?

Bruce: *still remained silent but almost knocked something over clearly not on purpose as he felt his knees began to weaken the moment he heard Clark*

At first Clark clearly does not have a single idea that he has this type of affect towards the Gotham's Prince but yeah sooner or later he began to notice how the other would literally began to sweat and stutter the moment he lets out his midwest accent. He secretly enjoys it and decided to use that power when he knows it might take him 2-6 business days to console and apologize to Bruce.

Hear me out:

Werewolf/wolf coded Henry

All the usualy perks like heightened senses, fast reflexes etc.

Primal Berserker mode instead of the traditional shapeshifting that is one of the biggest reasons Martin didn't want him to learn how to wield a sword but was fine with him learning how to hunt and use a bow.

A provider and protector, he learns to hunt in order to fulfill that instinct for his family. Sir Radzig allows it so long as he doesn't venture out too far into neighboring territories or has one of his hunters with him. He also learns his father's(Martin's) trade because there is something in the rhythm of the work that soothes him. The heat of the forge, the sounds of the bellows and the hammer on metal, the hiss of the oil as the sword goes in, all just sort of scratch an itch in his brain that helps him when he is restless.

When Skalitz gets attacked, everything happens so fast he can barely process what was happening before he was hopping on a horse and bee-lining it to Thalmberg.

By the time he wakes up in the mill, his whole world is all but gone.

He is empty, hollow.

No one to protect or provide for. Hardly anything but his bow and his faithful, and possibly supernatural, cat companion Leaf to his name and the only thing he can think of to do is report to Sir Radzig about what happened to his sword.

Then he meets Lord Capon.

And senses in him someone like himself. Not in a literal sense but, a sort of kindred spirit.

Someone who is just a bit too different to fit the status quo completely.

But instead of getting angry at Capon's initial treatment of him, the more Wyld part of his being see's it as a game. A rivalry.

And he wants to play.

One Archery competition, sword fight, and hunting challenge later and the score is 2/1 and Henry is in the lead.

But then, at the height of their play, Hans is captured and that old rage wakes up.

Before they even know he is there, Henry in his berserker state tearing into them like a demon from hell, not letting a single one live.

But once he comes down and the dust and blood settle...

He looks at Hans and seeing him beaten but alive fills in the wound in his heart left by the destruction of Skalitz and the loss of those he once protected and provided for.

He has purpose again.

He can provide again.

He can protect again.

And boy does this man keep him on his toes.

But god knows he is loving every single second of it.

The room is quiet by the time Bertha steps out and softly closes the door behind her. She does not want to wake the captive. Patient. Whatever they're calling the man strapped to the bed- it's for his own safety, really; he might hurt himself if he goes stumbling in search of an escape before his treatment is over. Her boots on the floor are loud enough to announce her approach, Bertha has no need to try and sneak around.

"Your patient is stable, Doctor." If she sounds pleased with herself, it's because she is. "He should be ready to resume your treatment in two or three days. Any sooner and his heart may not be able to handle the stress."

The man in the room really was in bad shape, it's amazing to see what Crane can do to these people. Bertha's always had to use more intrusive means of torture: cutting things, breaking things, burning or freezing or shocking. Pulling patients out of death's grasp and forcing their bodies to survive is rewarding. Not because she cares about the patients. She doesn't. But because she's successful. After the incident that severed her ties to Umbrella, after losing her entire team- she needs this. She can't stand to fail again. She hasn't lost one that was still alive when she began working on them yet.

From behind her mask, she regards the doctor. Less than a year since Raccoon City. Less than three months working for this man. She clears her throat and squares her shoulder. "Do you need another patient sourced?" In the moment of stabilizing a patient she's fine; in her element. Outside of that? Restless. It's like she's still trapped in a city full of hostiles; like any distant shadow is a threat and she should be lashing out. She needs an objective. Her hands clench and release at her sides, a small gesture meant to help relieve some of her restless energy. "Or anyone executed?"
