Jasper felt good. Of course, the beginning of the day had been a fuckin’ nightmare but after that was over with, he finally felt more like himself. He’s happily dancing with someone’s grandma at the sound of Billy Ray Cyrus’ iconic bop, spinning the old lady around and just having a ball when he spots someone not too far from them. Excusing himself from her with a sloppy kiss on the cheek, he quickly dashes towards the man. Leaning himself against the table, Jasper grabs a flute of champagne before smoothly making himself known. “Fancy seeing you here.” He calls the other’s attention, taking a sip from the drink as his eyes travel along the man’s outfit, nodding. “Looking really good, too. I believe I never got your name.”

Location: Downtown near the vendors

Thaddeus was freezing. Growing up in Memphis meant that snow wasn’t common during the winter months and where he went to study his undergrad was even further south. While he had adapted to living in colder climates during the few years he already lived in Mapleview, winter still wasn’t on his list of favorite seasons. He blew into his hands in an attempt to warm them before he curled more into his coat. “Goddamn... The wind cuts right through you. Need a coffee to warm me up,” he muttered to himself as he looked for some kind of hot beverage. He was distracted and didn’t notice where he was going. “Shit, sorry I ran into you.”

                as much as alana likes spending  christmas  with her family, this year’s festivities are cut short  (  much to her father’s surprise )  when she quickly leaves the annual  xmas  lunch to head over to atticus’ place.  by that point, it’s probably  too  obvious she’s been seeing someone, she alone has  difficulty  hiding her uplifted spirit each time she goes to see him  ;  plus the fact she’s been spending less�� &  less time at home. she’ll blame it on his place however, the overall  cozy  vibe it radiates  &  not the fact she’s head over heels for a man living there.  but alas, it’s xmas  &  as soon as the blonde steps one foot inside in her burgundy  cocktail  dress, her arms are flying around the male’s neck to bring him into a rather  passionate  little smooch  (  as if it’s not been just a day since they saw each other last  ) . it’s starting to feel like a habit  ;  her inability to keep her hands away from him, always playing with his hair, tucking on his shirt, hugging him from behind ... overnight she’s once again a  fool  in love.  “  i missed you,  “  she states through her toothy grin as she pulls away, head tilting slightly as she remains clinging onto his taller frame.  “  i got food in the car  &  i stole wine from my dad’s collection,  “  alana muses proudly, motioning to the trunk of her suv that’s open behind them.

This was definitely being Daniel’s most different birthday yet. He never had co-workers from all ages before that’d gather in a lunch room to have some cake with him and enthusiastically sing happy birthday. It was heartwarming at best, and really special. He definitely never thought he’d follow his mother’s footsteps to the teaching world but he was so glad he did. He know understood why she loved her profession so much. It was all smiles and thank you’s till he spotted an important figure missing in the room: Atticus. The latter had been so distant and cold with him lately. It made Daniel wonder if he said something wrong during one of their lunch breaks, something that’d upset him to the point he didn’t want to be around him anymore. He wasn’t sure if it was his own anxiety talking or if Atticus had actually been avoiding him the past few weeks. Daniel had been pretty busy too, but not the point he wouldn’t share some coffee with a friend during a 15 minute break. 

And now, his absence here kinda basically proved his anxious self theories. But he didn’t want to jump into conclusions yet. So after the teachers finished celebrating him, he decided to make a stop to Atticus' classroom before his next period started, the birthday invite of his celebration the next day at the Mixing House in hand, along with a slice of the cake that was left. He sighed before nervously peeping through the door that was slightly open. “H-hey” he awkwardly said, quickly waving hi. “I- uh, was kinda expecting you at the lunch room. We shared some cake... it’s, it’s my birthday today though I guess you knew. Given the board we have there with every teacher’s birthday written”, he scratched his own neck, an habit he had when he was feeling nervous enough. “I- brought some for you. There was some left, chocolate... my favorite. It’s really good”, he raised the plate with the cake to show him. “I also have an... extra thing for you, if you don’t mind?”

                 after a whole day of fun  halloween  activities ,  the blonde finally decided to take a small breather after finishing a third round of pumpkin themed  beer pong ,  now leaned against the barn’s wooden wall outside with an orange cup between her fingers while talking to some guy.  he was interesting , at least to  some  extent , or maybe it was just because of his vampire costume  &  the fact  a little tipsy  alana still found edward cullen to be one of the sexiest fantasies out there.                     with a corner of her eye however , she spotted a familiar looking male walking by , nearly choking on her own drink before she turned around , hoping he wouldn’t notice her if she faced the vampire she was with  &  if her arm was around his neck.  however , her little stunt caused the guy she was with to assume the  obvious  , smiling with his pointy teeth  &  pulling her closer.

              &   just like that , the camping trip was over .  truth be told , alana had barely slept through the night given the fact she kept on  hearing  things outside her tent ; at some point even considering calling for help  &  getting the hell out of there .  she hated this whole ordeal , which explained why she was probably one of the first to wake up  &  gather her things in order to finally leave .  ah , she could already smell the freshly brewed coffee she was about to have as she shoved her things in the back of her suv ,randomly looking around at the campers passing by until her gaze landed on ...              s h i t  .  was her first thought the second she saw atti , her automatic instinct being to pull her hoodie over her head in a lame  attempt  to hide .  an idiot move to be honest , given the fact she was probably one of the  b e s t   dressed there  &  clearly asking to be seen from a mile away .  “  shit , shit , shit ... “  she mumbled down her chin , practically throwing her bags in a haste inside her car in order to get the hell out of there which only resulted in her not paying attention to the fact one of the bags were unzipped - the contents of it falling the second she threw it mid-air . well , if she hadn’t had his attention until then she definitely did now since the loud  clang  caught most attention from nearby townies .
