Hannibal AUs

Because I’m a silly little goose, I came up with a collection of AUs/Fusions/Random ideas. Feel free to use them and tag me with your creations! I’d love to see it! And I’ll have a tagging system set up so you can see which AUs have content I’ve made.

• Hannibal/Succession

- I think this is more a crack AU?

- Imagine Will and Hannibal having office jobs

- Or Tomgreg and Hannigram interacting, which is fucking stupid either way and also gold

- Hannibal and Greg doing therapy would be hilarious because Hannibal would be so confused with each increasing bumble that he wouldn’t be able to kill Greg

- Tom (one-sided) and Greg (confused) waxing poetic to each other and Hannibal going “that’s us”

• Hannibal/Good Omens

- Hannibal is a demon, Will is an angel

- What could go wrong? Everything. They’re in love though

- Hannibal eats people and Will is like. Do all demons eat people? And Hannibal is like no <3 just me :)

• Hannibal/Sherlock

- I know, I know, DMH; I should probably get back to that

- Johnlock and Hannigram interacting would make for interesting parallels, especially with John taking to Hannibal and Will, strangely, taking to Sherlock

- “So, does yours have any things that irritate you?” “Oh, well, you know John. Always being a stickler, insisting everything’s clean.” “Same here, and I have dogs. Mine likes to eat people from time to time.” “I’m sorry, what?”

• Vampire Hannibal

- Two ways this could go:

- Hannibal is the vampire, Will is the familiar: Easy, kinda obvious, more serious and able to explore deeper emotions, also sexy vampire cannibal

- Will is the vampire, Hannibal is the familiar: Funny, kinda wacky, Hannibal is so Done™️ all the time, Will is tired constantly and really prefers coffee to blood, Hannibal takes it seriously and everyone else is just like. Wow. Freaks

• Greek Myth Hannibal

- Variety of ways this could work

- Hades and Persephone, which is cool and has nice pomegranate imagery

- Dionysus and a Maenad, which is also sweet cause Hannibal is similar to Dionysus

• Cryptid/Eldritch Horror Hannibal

- Okay I really like creepy stag/fucked up Will

- Stag Man! My dude! :3

- Hannibal being an eldritch horror is somehow so fitting yet so terrifying, like hey! Be Not Afraid 👀 and Will is like. I’m hallucinating I need coffee

- But Human!Hannibal and Horror!Will is snazzy

• Normal Hannibal

- They’re just guys. Like Hannibal doesn’t eat people, he’s just European

- Will has dogs, he’s still a freak.

• Zombie Hannibal

- Has the potential to be either angst or absolutely fucking hilarious

- Sad: One or both of them dies horribly :( not ideal, a bit ironic

- Happier: Hannibal lives with Zombie!Will like. Yep. We both eat people lol [dying inside]

- Happy: Still Hannibal and Zombie!Will except Will is still kinda human because the infection was partially stopped, so he reluctantly eats people but it’s set up for laughs

• Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal

- Literally just an excuse to have my bestie Clarice (I love her)

- Also married Hannigram cause they’re so in love behind bars it makes them look stupid

- Will is also from New Orleans because I said so and he drawls ‘darlin’ to Clarice to tease her. Feral

- Jack is 100% done and slightly homophobic now because of their bullshit. He’s allowed to be

• Killing Eve/Hannibal

- The comedic potential of having Villaneve and Hannigram interact is too good to ignore

- All of them comparing scars, swapping deranged stories

- Eve and Will discuss how to keep hold of a homicidal maniac

- Or if it’s not a fusion, have MI6!Will and Assassin!Hannibal go at it

• Role Swap Hannibal

- I know I know

- But glasses-wearing, sweater-owning, FBI profiler Hannibal and suave, twitchy psychotherapist Will is fantastic

- If done right Will has the potential to be so damn creepy, also his S3 glow up was *chef’s kiss*

• Bond Hannibal

- Yes this is because of Casino Royale shut up

- I could have Hannibal play the part of Le Chiffre but that’s kinda on the nose

- Will would be Bond because of course, but Hannibal would make an awesome ‘femme fatale’ so to speak

- Hannibal, a tortured artist, and Will, his beautiful muse

- The corruption arc! Ah, covering canvas with blood and grinding bone into fine white powder to make new paint

- Will never ageing would be horrific and also like…damn, he would kill Hannibal, right?

• Dark Hannibal

- Like, it already is dark, but I mean like, Will is already a killer when the timeline starts

- Hannibal and Will are like was that my kill? Or was that yours? And Jack is just fucking clueless

- They’re either together or they’re not, which is like that Spider-Man meme personified

• Priest Hannibal

- This could SWING BOTH WAYS

- Demon!Hannibal tempting Priest!Will, kinda along the lines of the show except not

- Or! Priest!Hannibal (still a cannibal because religion) and Demon!Will

- OR! Or this could be my little Fleabag fantasy and we can just pop Atheist!Will with Priest!Hannibal and make it a thing…

- OR! OR AGAIN! Atheist!Hannibal (a serial killer) and Priest!Will (some guy) and HANNIBAL TURNS HIM FROM GOD HAHAHA

• Alice in Wonderland/Hannibal

- We’re all mad here and it’s begun to be rather loopy, I’m afraid!

- Will’s actually in an asylum and Hannibal is his doctor (making him worse ofc)

- Again, everything is the same but they’re both FTM trans because I said so <3

- Hannibal did Will’s top surgery (it’s not like Will wanted it smh)
